The Multi-Dimensional OC Bar

"Sigh, alright, c'mon," Nim said getting up and going back to the room they'd just used moments ago. Once inside, she stood by the door, ready to close it and give the two the desired privacy.

"you did life sorce transmitting... you were drinking energy suplements iv scersly seen.. what are you?" she said as she put things together

Nim looked a little shocked at what Lightning was proposing. "Life what's it? No, no, nothing like that. Like I said back at the bar, it was just a surge of magic energy. And this 'energy supplement' is just a peppermint milkshake," Nim said trying to defend herself. "Here want to try?" she asked offering the cold beverage to Lightning.

she looked at her suspishusly

Nim just shrugged and went back to sipping on the drink while awaiting Lightning's next question. Not minding at all the smell of peppermint that was slowly filling the space around her.

"well then, if you have nothing to hide, i would like to take a dna sample and do a mana cancellation on you" she said slightly intimidating.

"M-mana cancellation?" Nim repeated back worriedly. "What exactly is that?" she asked as a follow up question, the nervousness showing quite clearly on the mare's face.

"it means, any spell magical charge or mana battery will be surged. thats safe for life but say you were an elemental you would obviously fade or if you had camo on you'd turn back to your really self."

And at that point, the nervousness faded, the happiness faded, and the smile faded. Nim's face turned very cold very quickly and she looked at Lightning very sternly for several moments without blinking. "For somepony whose life was just saved, you sure are acting rather ungrateful," Nim said in a voice that while still mostly hers, something else lingered in the tone.

"I'd personally prefer it if you didn't conduct these... 'tests' of yours on me. I'd hate for something to happen in this secluded room that one might regret," Nim continued, and though she held a cold poker face, there was a nervous sweat that gave away the bluff. Though it was only to herself that she cursed not having stood closer to the door.

"oh i am very grateful.. but i am also inquisitive, and if i were you" she shifted round to the door and swiped her leg under the mare.

Acting on instinct, Nim pushed off the ground and used her wings to dodge the sweep. In the process though, she lost a hold of her milkshake. The thick drink spilling onto the ground and splashing across the floor. "We can't fight here," Nim warned from where she hovered.

lightning not to sure if it was as normal as suggested, got a sample and put it away then looked at the mare with a grin "two rules, one don't threaten me or it becomes a challenge, two, i don't want to fight but if i have to i will."

"You're the one who asked me back here, and then starts accusing things and wanting to run tests that I'm not sure how they will affect me, and then tried to sweep my legs!" Nim called back, her voice starting to heighten and get louder as she became more upset. "And you made me spill my drink! For being grateful, you sure have a weird way of showing it," Nim continued from her aerial position.

lightning analysed the surroundings. "your quite right. pardon my behavior..." she said still thinking about everything.

Nim seemed to grit her teeth some more, trying to hold onto the anger, but she couldn't lest it wrench free of her control and that wouldn't do here. So it slipped away as quickly as it had come and now she just felt upset. "It's al... it's... no, it's not alright. I did something that was really risky for me to even try, and all I got was this..." Nim said in almost a pout as she lowered herself to the floor. She sat there for a second or two before standing back up and moving towards the door of the small room, a hard set frown on her face.

"and doesn't that make you mad, you helped a mare, the best you could and then she does this, thats not fair at all is it"

"I'm going to get another milkshake," Nim replied sourly as she opened the door and trotted out, nearly slamming the door to the back room as she left. When Nim got back to the bar, she was quick to apologize for the spill, but ordering her third milkshake was a close second on what was said. Taking a few angry draws from the straw, Nim started to cool down, but it was clear she was still a little riled up.

lightning laid down and thought about what just happened.. not to happy about her course of actions. and realised that she had failed at any limit.

after about 30 minuets of contemplation lightning cam o a con conclusion, she exited the bar and entered the bar. heading towards the rather quite annoyed nim, she stopped and took a deep breath. she walked towards the mare she had offended and ordered 2 more drinks, one like the one nim already had for nim and a cup of jasmine tea for herself.

she avoided eye contact and muttered quietly "i'm sorry for that, im sure i am right but its not my right to do that, you have full choice over your life so here, take the specimen i took." she said handing it over.

Nim eyed Lightning warily, then looked down at the small bit of peppermint milkshake. "There's easier ways to try somepony's milkshake," Nim replied before finishing off the one in front of her. "But ordering me one is a good way to go about a real apology," she continued while pulling the fresh peppermint milkshake over before taking some slow simple sips.

"I may have gotten a bit worked up too," Nim eventually said with a sigh. "But it's because I know what you were insinuating back there. That topic's a bit of a sore spot for me, see I did move to Ponyville because of trouble with a stallion, but it was because he was killed, not because we broke up. Changelings attacked the town, and after seeing him... well, it's just not something I like to remember," Nim continued hoping the explanation would deter any further questioning along that line.

"i have been called cold but i know when not to ask something, i am sorry, how about we hang out some time, im sure theres a lot we could learn a lot from each other, and besides, iv been needing to try out my morphing devise, so i can go to your universe and well not be noticed... if you like?"

Vision was faintly aware of the events going on around him, but a pounding headache had taken over earlier and only just began to fade. "Ugh..." He looks up at Nim and Lightning. "Sorry for... ignoring you all earlier, I'm just... a little tired, is all." He nods in their direction. "My name is Vision."

"its ok, you should get some water."

"Yes... that's probably a good idea..." Vision looks up at Martini weakly. "What she said."

Martini nods and gives him a glass.

Vision takes it gratefully and sips. A little colour returns to his cheeks. "Thank you for that."

"Hey, just because I accepted your apology doesn't mean we're instant friends," Nim replied another sigh. "And while I don't care if you come to where I'm from, I don't think you're allowed to travel to other ponie's dimensions from here." Nim continued before taking another drink from her milkshake. "Though if you find another way, I guess I could show you the do's and don'ts of the area. So this kind of thing doesn't happen again."

Then she turned her attention to Vision who seemed to snap out of whatever had a hold of him earlier. "Hello, I'm Nimbus Chaser, Nim for short though."
