The Multidimensional OC Bar

Open to all, No signups, No special requirements. Come and go as you like. Even join in late if you want. Multiple characters are allowed. Fourth wall breaking is allowed. SFW only.

This bar and grill exists simultaneously in multiple dimensions and locations throughout Equestria. As such it can service any OC in any story at any time. Characters can pass into the bar from their own reality, have a drink and a meal, and interact with any other characters, the bar has a strict no-violence and no-time-travel policy but otherwise most things are allowed. Upon entry, characters are rendered physically invulnerable to damage, all injury, disease, aging and decay is halted, and all weapons cease functioning. No violence really does mean NO violence. Characters can only leave the bar back into their own reality and when they return they will return to the exact moment they left.

The bartender is a kindly earth pony named Shirley Temple. The servers are Martini (unicorn) and Tequila Sunrise (pegasus). The chef is a draconequus whose magic also maintains the multidimensional nature of the bar and enforces the rules. As they are public NPCs any poster may freely use these characters as secondary/background characters in their posts.

You can order any type of food or drink that exists in any reality. The only restriction is that meat products are not "true" meat products but perfect simulations retrieved from a reality that has such technology. Nevertheless if human blood and dragon livers strike your fancy, you can have them... simulated.

The Bar holds many forms of entertainment, from the bar itself to a karaoke machine all the way to basement areas for friendly combat bouts and can adjust itself accordingly to suit the customers desires.

As for payment, the bar actually runs off emotions of appreciation so all currency is accepted and any pony can afford a meal. Even if they are penniless Shirley Temple will accept even a song as payment as that conveys appreciation.

Nonetheless, enjoy yourself and have a drink and a good meal in the The Multidimensional OC Bar. Talk about your troubles to the staff or interact with other OCs in a safe environment outside of space and time. Get away from whatever crisis you are facing in your world and listen to advice from those in another.

Griff enters the bar, partially covered with sand, closes the door and clears the sand off him. He then proceeds to sit down by one of the tables, placing his cloak on the chair next to him and relaxes while he waits for one of the servers to come. As soon as Martini arrives, Griff orders a large pint of beer.

"Man, just how lucky am I to have found this in the middle of the desert.. just when I was about to run out of water, heh." he thinks to himself while waiting for that pint of beer.

The tranquility and peace of the bar is momentarily broken; the door swings open softly and closes itself behind a new visitor.

A brown-coated unicorn, clad in a drab, unassuming grey cloak, looks around with confusion in his gaze.

He steps forward, and only now notices the other presence in the bar. He approaches the counter quietly and says, in a low voice, "Do you have any water?"

The barkeep raises her eyebrows, surprised, before trotting away and returning with a cup of water.

"Sorry, I'm... strange." Accepting the proffered glass, he trots over to the sole occupied table, and sits down at a chair opposite the other unicorn.

In an awkward tone, rife with obvious discomfort, he says, "Um... hello." He extends his hoof in greeting. "What's your name?"

"The name's Griff," he begins and whispers "Thank you" to the Martini as the waiter brings him his pint of beer.

Griff begins drinking his beer, but never shakes the mysterious pony's hoof. Instead, he just asks "..And what may your name be...?"

The pony replies promptly and without hesitation. "My name is Tact Ician, officer and strategist of the Canterlot Royal Guard." Then, the confidence disappears as quickly as it came, and he slowly withdraws his hoof. Taking a sip from his glass, he asks, with an air of unmistakeable awkwardness, "So... how's life?"

Griff took another long sip of his drink before thinking for a bit and answering: "I am just on a boring mission in the middle of the friggin' desert, the sand is annoying if nothing else..." He said and sipped his drink again "...Close to finishing it, then it's back to Horseshoe bay for a nice weekend full of rest." he added before lying back on his chair, making sure he doesn't fall backwards.

Ician frowns. "The desert? But we're in a bar, aren't we?"

"I believe it appears just anywhere in the world... for me, it appeared in the middle of the desert, just when I ran outta water..." Griff said, smiling.

His frown deepened. "I'm... not sure if that even makes sense." Gesturing to the door, he added, "All I know is that I walked into my old bar and got this one instead."

"This bar appears pretty much everywhere in the world. Usually that's when you least expect it... " Griff says and finishes his pint of beer. "Heh.. seems kinda awkward talking to someone with such a high position in Canterlot Royal Guard.... usually they just try to kill me or take me to a prison for a lifetime... escaped them so many times already... " Griff begins telling while waving his empty pint in the air, indicating he wants another one. "Never thought I'd meet one in the middle of the desert ..." Griff adds.

"It might be the middle of the desert for you," Ician says, pointing to the door, "but for me Canterlot's right outside." His eyes narrow. "And speaking of the Guard, what have you done, exactly, to warrant their pursuit?"

Griff suddenly bursts into laughter, slamming the pint onto the table so hard it nearly broke. "Hahahaaa.. If you think you're gonna get information out of me that easily, think again." Griff says and makes a small pause before adding "...I ain't telling you anything. The Royal Guard fooled me twice already, I'm not gonna get fooled the third time aswell."

After a few moments, Martini arrives with the new pint of beer. "Thank you" Griff whispers again after receiving the pint.

He nods. "Fair enough." And then, he shoots Griff a grin. "But I'll get it out of you sooner or later." Sitting back comfortably, he adds, "I always do, in the end."

Rain Splash walks in, only to have his face screw up with confusion, "This isn't the vault!" He turns around to open the door again only to turn back, "... Beer?" The Pegasus looks at the two waitresses as well as the two participants already discussing something, he grins trotting towards them, "Can I get a beer over here?" He asks the waitress hopefully, she nods smiling and goes to fill a mug, he walks up to the two with the still hopefull look in his eyes, "Could I sit with you two?"

Griff smiles at the new pony and sips his beer yet again "If you can manage to get this Royal butt to stop trying to get my secrets out of me... sure!" he says. He then looks at the Ician and says "You wouldn't reveal your darkest secrets either, now would you...?"

"Perhaps I might. If the time is ripe." He takes a sip from his glass, and turns his gaze back to Griff.

"Besides, if you really are a criminal, you'd come under the jurisdiction of the Canterlot Police. The Royal Guard is strictly defense only. I'd have no responsibility for chasing you down." He shrugs. "If you are a criminal, of course. I personally find it quite hard to believe - you're a bit too friendly to be one."

"That is, if they ever catch me. As for me confessing anything to a Royal whatever... heh, good luck with that. Also, hold on.." Griff says as he stands up, nodding at the new visitor to take a seat before going to the door, opening it, looking at the sign outside, closing the door and returning to the table.

"The sign still says 'tavern', for a moment I thought I entered the interrogation chamber that looked like a tavern." Griff says and sips his beer again.

"Very funny." Ician smiles. "But interrogating, manipulating and strategy are the only things I'm good at. Put me in a normal conversation and, well," he shakes his head, "I'll have asked 'how's life?' and 'wonderful weather we're having, isn't it?' five times in two minutes."

He pauses. "And that's on a good day."

Splash sighs happily and flops into one of the free chair spots, he leans over grinning at Ician, "Causing problems with us mercs eh? We some times travel like wolves... In packs. It's usually not something to mess with, imagine seven or eight of us, each with special abilities that make us stand out against the rest of pony kind, all charging headlong at you. Doesn't give you time to think for they care not for their lives, only for the coin in your pocket." He leans back awaiting a reaction as his beer is deliver, a simple Autumn's mead, with honey and berries.

Griff grins as the pegasus sits down next to him. "How nice of you to join us, er... " he pauses as he whispers at Splash "...do I know you?...". He then looks back at Ician. "But yes, I am also a mercenary, that's one of the reasons they don't like me... one among many, but none of those will be coming out of my mouth tonight." Griff says as he downs his pint of beer. "..Not even worth trying. I'd give up already if I were you." he adds as he grinds, baring his shining just-now-transformed tiger-like teeth.

Ician raises an eyebrow. "Whoever said I was still trying? I may as well be getting a stone to talk." Turning to Splash, he continues, "And good..." He glances out a window, the brilliant rays of the morning sunlight streaming into the darkened bar, "... Morning to you. Let me assure you, neither I nor all five hundred or so of the Guard mean you any harm." Narrowing his eyes, he continues, "Unless, of course, you choose to do something completely stupid like invading Canterlot."

He blinks. "Ah, dang it, I was supposed to ask for your name first, wasn't I? I can never remember all these social conventions..."

The door to the bar opened. Storm walked in his usual scowl showing things weren't quite going his way yet again. His tail was smouldering slightly but he didn't seem to notice as he walked to the counter and ordered. "Afternoon Tequila, Martini. Can I get a cider please?" he said nodding to the two mares. Martini smiled back and passed him his drink.

Storm turned to face the rest of the bar, seeing three others discussing something, one baring an odd set of teeth towards another. "I would be careful fighting isn't allowed in here. The owner is quite strict on that." he warned as he walked over. "Names Meteor Storm, mind if I join you?"

"Of course, feel free." Ician nods. "Besides, fighting isn't... quite my style. Not by a longshot. Either way," he gestures to the other two, "if we actually started fighting I wouldn't stand a chance against them. I'll stick to thinly veiled threats and conversation, thank you very much."

"Welcome..." Griff started as he transformed his teeth back into their normal self. "..Mind if I call you Meteor?" he finished after. "As for fighting, I am not new to this bar. I come here every now and then, chill from all the missions." Griff adds as he leans back, stretching a little and taking his swords off one of the chairs to make a spot for Meteor.

"So," Ician addresses Storm, "I know these two are mercenaries, but what is it that you do?" His face wilts a little. "Please don't tell me you're another troublemaker running from the law in whatever world you come from."
