The Multi-Dimensional OC Bar

Ician glances at the newcomer. "Good... ah, afternoon? My name is Tact Ician, but you can call me Ician for short." He extends his hoof in his customary greeting. "What's your name?"

He glanced up and smiled, taking the hoof and shaking. "Ah, Ician... My name is Paladin Amor. Seargent Paladin Amor." His voice was deep, and coukd almost be called angelic. He chuckled and sipped his beer. "I know you. You're in interrogation, aren't you?" Glancing at the mare, he smiled. "I see we finally have some decent music."

Ician sits up, taking the final sip from his mug. "Interrogation and strategy, as I'm sure you recall." He chuckles. "Not that there's very much strategy to be had nowadays."

Calling out to Martini, he says, "Thanks for the cider. Could I have a glass of water, now? Thanks."

"No. It seems that we don't really need a sword or a shield anymore. So much peace now." He sipped his beer again and smiled. "The mare isn't bad either. What's her name?"

"Harmony." She speaks up, never once breaking her gaze away from her hooves that danced madly across the keyboard. "My name is Harmony. Pleased to meet you, Sergeant."

"The pleasure is all mine." He nodded to her, before returning to his beer for a moment. "Are you from the same universe as Ician? The door has a strange mind of it's own."

"I am." Harmony says. "I'm on probation for a place in the Canterlot Musician's Guild. I consider this my practice grounds, before the next Grand Galloping Gala." She eyes the door. "Albeit, as you no doubt know, a very strange one."

He chuckled and nodded. "But, it takes you where you need to go. I'll put in a good word for you with the Princess. You're good enough by far." He sighed and relaxed happily in his chair, content listening to her music.

Harmony nods. "Thank you." And then she smiles a small smile. "It seems I have something of a talent for attracting military patronage."

He smiled and chuckled happily to himself. "If I actually believed in dating, I would ask you out in an instant." Finishing his beer, he glanced at Martini and ordered another.

Harmony laughs. "Why thank you. I appreciate the compliment."

He smiled and laughed happily. "Any time my dear. You are well worth it."

"Oh?" Ician leans forward, a gleam in his eye. "Flirting with my musician now, are we?"

Harmony snorts. "I'm not your musician."

Ician rolls his eyes. "Right, right. The musician."

Paladin shrugged and smiled. "I might be. Is that a problem?" He raised an eyebrow.

Ician's horn lights up, floating his glass of water over to his mouth. Taking a sip, he begins, "I-"

"It's not your problem." Harmony snaps, giving him a knowing smirk. "Unless you're trying to woo me yourself?"

Ician splutters. "Don't be ridiculous. I have no time for that kind of thing."

Paladin smiled gently. "Oh... Are you two together? If not... Harmony, I would like to get to know you a little better." He continued to drink.

"Don't be silly." Ician snaps. "I barely know her."

"He's right." Harmony says. "But he looks to prone to teasing that I can't help myself."

Ician shoots her a dirty look.

"What?"

Paladin chuckled again, finishing his second beer. "In that case, I would most definitely like to get to know you Harmony." He smiled gently at her.

Griff smiles. "Nice to see everyone is coming together in a friendly way." He says. And to those who see me for the first time, my name is Griff. But in my universe, I am a rather well known guy.. in the northern parts, at least."

"Really, now?" Harmony grins at Paladin. "That sounds interesting. But don't expect me to leave my spot."

With that, her horn flares a brilliant blue, and the song switches to a new melody.

Ician rolls his eyes and sighs. Turning to Griff, he asks, "So, which northern parts, exactly? The Crystal Empire, perhaps?"

Paladin nodded a greeting to Griff before standing up and walking over to Harmony. "I do hope, that if we form a relationship, Ician will recognise it, outside this chat... Ah." He paused, before chuckling to himself. "Sorry, I forgot that I'm not suppose to break that wall..." He smiled to Harmony. "My apologies. Now, perhaps you could tell me about yourself, and in exchange I'll tell you about me."

"A small part of Crystal empire. Those who hired me before, at least." He sips his rum. "They said they'll put a good word about me around, but that word is rather slow, it seems.

"Sorry, give me a moment, Griff." Ician turns to Harmony. "Look, I'm alright with you getting in a relationship, but I don't pay you to sit around and flirt."

Harmony gazes at him, nonplussed. "You don't pay me at all."

"Ah..." Ician blinks. "Right..."

"So, anyway," Harmony smiles sweetly at Paladin, "tell you about myself? I don't know, I lead a pretty boring life. I'd like to think that I'm pretty good at music, but that hasn't gotten anywhere yet." She gestures to her violin, suspended in the air with her magic. "The test for admission to the Canterlot Musician's Guild is to perform well at the annual Grand Galloping Gala. Every applicant for membership is given a chance at it." She sighs. "Of course, if you were at the last Gala, you'd be pretty familiar with what happened."

He chuckled and nodded. "I recall something along the lines of screaming mares, falling statues, and other terrible things. I was off sick though." He watched the bow happily. "You are quite skilled indeed." He smiled, entranced by her bow. "That is awesome, really, really awesome." He smiled. "As for me, I trained in a hospital for most of my life. I work as a medic and a defender in the guard. I specialise in shield magic. I could make sure everything goes to plan for you,"

"I'd love that." Harmony laughs gently. "But really, I think you have more important things to do than watching over one silly Gala. Honestly..." she leans in close, and whispers conspirationally, "... it's pretty boring. What with all the stuck-up nobles and boring conversation."
