She nodded slowly. "I see... And you want me to be one of them Ician?"

Ician nods. "Yes. I have no doubts that you will fight for what is right. Possibly even to the bitter end, if it ever comes to that." Accepting the new glass of water, he turns back to Divine. "Of course, it's still your choice, so... what do you say?"

"Depends on how much I'm getting paid... And when we move out." She finished her glass of vodka.

Ician glances briefly at a nearby clock on the wall. "Let's see... give or take a few hours... we'll leave when we gather everyone who's willing. As for payment..." The edges of his mouth twitch upwards. "How much would you like to be paid?"

"Enough." She stated simply, ordering another glass.

"Really, I'm interested to know." Ician leans in closer. "How much does a judge in Fillydelphia get paid, on a yearly basis?"

"A little less than enough. Though," she smiled. "More than most."

"Then you'll be paid a little more than enough, to compensate." Ician leans back, satisfied. "My budget consists of the collective paychecks of that entire unfortunate scouting party."

"Damn..." She shrugged and finished the glass. "That's a lot."

"Exactly. As much as I hate to see those lives wasted... at least, by their sacrifice, we have a chance to make things right." Ician takes a satisfying gulp of water. "Ah, that's better."

"You enjoy your water, don't you?" She asked, running a hoof along her glass' edge.

Ician looked surprised. "Of course. Water is the best type of drink." He takes another sip. "And the cheapest, too."

"Touché." She yawned and rested her head on the table.

Ician, too, finds himself yawning. "Damn it, don't do that. It's contagious."

"No." She yawned again, snuggling against the table.

"Well if you ever need a transport anywhere..." Sky begins, "I'd be more than happy to help the Equestrian 'Army'."

Ician smiles at Divine. "Fine, fine..." His horn flashes, and his cloak once again slips off his torso and folds itself into the makeshift pillow. It manoeuvres itself below Divine's head. "Sweet dreams."

He turns to Sky. "That would be greatly appreciated, thank you."

"Let's see... " Sky begins. "How many mercenaries did you want to take in the first place?" She asks with a smile.

She purred and drifted off. "T- thank... You..."

Ician grins. "No problem, Divine."

Addressing Sky, he says, "As many as possible. We're going to need strength of numbers."

"My airship can only hold 10 ponies without counting the captain, unless there will be sleeping two on the same bed." Sky Cog says and sips her water.

"At this point, ten mercenaries seems a bit optimistic anyway." Ician nods. "I think we'll be fine."

"Alright," says Sky and sips her water again. "Just tell me when you'll need the transport. I'm usually fooling around in my airship while it's docked."

"Alright. Thanks again." Ician stares back at the door. "I wonder how many ponies are going to volunteer for this..."

"So... what now?" Sky asks.
