The Multi-Dimensional OC Bar

"Ah, fair enough. Chap has to have his priorities, and limits, I suppose. I can respect that." Graham said. "Still though, it is a shame to see your talent only be used for entertainment, and pleasure, and not more practical, or beneficial, purposes."

"Entertainment is beneficial too." Vision defended. "It's an escape from the harsh reality of the world. For just an hour or two ponies get to live in the world they want to. It's a form of release."

"Eh. If you ask me, I'd say it's just a replacement." Graham motions to the illusion around them. "A very good looking replacement, believe me, but a replacement nonetheless. I most of the time prefer the real thing. Sure, I've never seen a beach better then this one, but I've not seen many beaches, you see. Besides; I like this reality better then one that's been conjured. Sure, it can be harsh, but hey; I'm a swashbuckling, thieving, pirate. This reality is meant for me."

"Speak for yourself." Vision said. "There are some who like a new reality. I'm just here to provide for them."

"Myself is all I can speak for, Vision." Graham retorts. "And hey, if some chaps want a new reality, I can't very well change that, can I? Not that I'd want to. They can do whatever they please, and I'd be fine with it. I sort of have to be. It's not like I have the right to judge, doing some of the things I've done, after all. I'm a pirate, but that doesn't mean I'm not self-aware."

"I never said you weren't." Vision took a sip out of his illusory glass. "I'm just saying... I have a chosen field. I think it's just as important as others, personally."

"Hey, if it's what you like to do, then it's as important as being a ruler. To you, anyway. And, as far as I'm concerned, that's all that's important." He says, putting his wine glass down, taking a break from drinking.

"Mm. I'm just glad I've got what I do." Vision finished his glass. "It lets me do what I want to do. And that's what matters, after all."

"I concur. It's why I do what I do, and why most should do what they do. It's that feeling of being alive. For me, anyway. I can't say what it'd be for you. Maybe it's just one of those, 'if you love what you do you're not working a day in the world', instances." Graham said.

Vision shrugged. "I don't really have a firm philosophy on that kind of thing. I just know that I'm happy doing what I'm doing, and I think I'm making a contribution to society."

"Well, that's all that matters then, isn't it? For your type anyway. Not that being your type is a bad thing; it's just that some chaps like to know more, or feel more; or some like to know less. I don't really know, however. I'm no psychologist, or anyone with enough education to make that kind of statement. I'm just someone who's traveled for a little while, and making a judgement based on what I've seen. So... Feel free to ignore me, I suppose." Graham said, while shrugging. "Perhaps I shouldn't be delving too deep into this. It's not becoming of me, or my kind."

"Yes, I didn't think that a pirate would think so much about these kids of things." Vision took another sip. "Quite refreshing, though, to be proven wrong sometimes."

Arianwyn just smiled at the conversation. She then walked up to where she remembered the door was. She found the door and opened, revealing the mountains outside, snowstorm throwing snowflakes inside the bar. "Okay, now where is he..." She thought out loud as she kept the door opened.

"Yes, I suppose it can be refreshing. Sobering, if nothing else." Graham replied before picking up his own drink and taking a drink of it before setting it back down.

He noticed Arianwyn going to the door and opening it. "Leaving? If not, could you please close the door? I'm not fond of the cold, you see." He said, not hearing what she said.

"I can simulate warmth, if need be." Vision offered. "Besides, did you come into this Bar from a snowy climate? I didn't quite notice."

"FROST!!" Arianwyn yelled out of the door. The current visitors of the bar could hear a quiet roar in the distance and flaps of wings, getting louder as the dragon was getting closer, until finally landing a few meters away, the impact slightly shaking the ground, but not affecting the Bar's ground.

If anyone would look out towards the door, they could see a gigantic dragon with scales made out of ice. The dragon moved closer to the bar, his snout just a meter away from the door. "What is it, hun?" He asked in a very deep voice.

"Some ponies.. and griffins would like to meet you." Arianwyn said back, pointing at inside of the bar.

"Well... huh." The illusion of the beach dissolved as Vision gazed at the dragon. "That... is a... thing. That happened."

Graham tensed up at the sound of the dragon, before donning a quizical look and mouthing the word, "Hun", to himself. He then looked at Vision with the same quizical look on his face. "You don't think that those two are an... Item, do you?"

"Um..." Vision's gaze flickered between the dragon, Arianwyn, and Graham. "... right now I'm not sure what to think..."

"So... who wanted to meet me..?" The deep voice echoed through the bar, as the dragon lowered his head, trying to look through the door with his eyes.

Graham took a deep breath before standing up and getting in front of the doorway, in the dragons direct line of sight. "That'd be me..." He says meekly at the sight of the dragon.

Vision stands up as well, moving slightly closer to observe the exchange but not daring to move too close.

The dragon chuckled and grinned, revealing his massive teeth, most of them being as big as a stallion's head. "Oh?" He wondered. "And just who might you be..?"

Natural Tune had been twiddling with his lute a bit, but played a sour note when he heard the dragon's voice.
"Ach, ya must be the dragon this lass Arianwyn told me about." He went to the door and offered a hoof, albeit with much hesitance.
"Name's Natural Tune. The lass here says you two are travellin' together. That true?" He asked as he quickly went back to take his beer, quickly chugging the rest of it down, feeling the alcohol burning it's way down his throat and into his stomach before coming back to the dragon.

Graham stared at the teeth for a moment, before replying. "Um... My name is Graham... A pleasure to meet you, Mr...?" He says, politely, pausing to let the dragon say his name.

He then shifted his gaze to Natural Tune, looking at him as if he were incredibly brave. Or drunk.
