The Multi-Dimensional OC Bar

His cries gradually fall to moans and he rises slowly, a hoof against his throbbing temple, a trickle of blood flowing from his nose, "Thank you," he mumbles to Vision, turning toward the griffon he croaks, "I'll explain once I catch my breathe."

"Very well." The griffin says, still curiously looking at Flare.

Returning to his seat at the bar, the thestral takes a sip of his cider. "My name is Rain Blade, Flare is my counterpart. I am the original inhabitant of this body, he was created by a spell gone wrong. The full story is rather long and I've, well technically Flare, has already told it once tonight. Though if you really wish to know I suppose I could tell you."

"Curiosity is getting higher by each passing second, but, do whatever you feel like." Wyvorn says.

"I will satisfy your curiosity," he finishes his pint before continuing. "I was a member of Luna's royal guard up to the changeling attack, when I was transferred to the changeling border. On a routine patrol I was ambushed and taken prisoner. Queen Chrysalis, assisted by the Nightmare, tested a spell on me. It was supposed to put me into a sleep and create a perfect but believable world for me. Once I had become fully immersed in the world, I would be awoken a lustful creature of the night to assist in the capture of further subjects and provide food for the changelings. Instead, my mind was ripped in half by the spell, thus creating Rain Flare. Chrysalis could feed off of Flare's love and lusts, so she kept me in a comma as her personal food source. When I was rescued and awoken, my mind became severely unbalanced and I had to see a psychiatrist to deal with having two minds in one. I constantly have migraines and every transition feels like my head is being split."

"Yeah..." Vision rubs his aching head. "Speaking of migraines, try not to do that again, please... My field is illusions, not painkilling." He sits back down on his chair and brings his glass to him, the intricate image of the chalice dissolving back into the normal cup.

"That's .. horrible." Wyvorn said after Rain Blade finished his story. He took a sip of his lemonade in silence.

"I don't exactly have control over it," he says to Vision. Turning to Wyvorn he gives a shrug, "I've learned to live with it more or less. Flare really has the worse of it, he lived a happy world made just for him. When he's around others he acts all cheerful, but only he is utterly depressed..."

"I see... Must suck to live like that, huh.." the part snow-tiger griffin says.

"Yes, but you'll never hear Flare admit to it, he's too prideful, though he calls it 'protecting his honor.' I can't really hold it against him, however, at least he has honor to protect."

Vision looks between the two of them, watching solemnly but not saying a word. I just don't have the words to say, anyway.

He looks back down at his glass. Slowly, he tries to resummon the chalice, and with a gradual shift the golden sheen returns. He smiles.

Tentatively, a pale light blue pegasi wandered into the bar, Flashing a semi-nervous smile to the various patrons as she trotted up to the bar. Quietly placing an order before settling back to push her silvery white, purple tipped, mane out of her face. Still a little nervous, but trying perhaps too hard to not show it (and by doing so, just making it more obvious), the pegasi looked around the bar with curious examining eyes.

Vision notices the pegasus, his somewhat fatigued visage lending a sag to his eyes. Though his body is tired, however, his mind is still sharp. Is she... nervous? He smiles. Reminds me of... me.

He opens his mouth, wondering if he should say something, then snaps it shut. He merely nods at the newcomer, taking a sip out of his chalice.

After a few moments, the bar tender came back with a bright pink colored smoothie, so strongly influenced with peppermint that the smell flooded the surrounding seats. It was even the smell that seemed to trigger the young pegasi's attention, as she turned back to the bar before the smoothie even got there.

It was with a wide, almost childlike grin, that she happily started drinking the cold beverage, each sip seeming to just invigorate the mare.

Vision slumps into his chair. Those spells really took it out of me...

For the second time, he wonders if he should say something. And for the second time, he decides against it. But his attention is drawn to the smoothie. Peppermint. And... a lot of it.

The griffin at the lone table remained silent. He only gave the new pegasi a short look before turning back to his drink.

Now that he is done brooding and feels comfortable with his new acquaintances, the thestral decides to make first contact with the new pegasus. A mischievous grin spreads across his snout as he decides to have a little fun with the nervous mare. Getting up from his stool, he bows before her, saying "Good evening, fare lady. I am Rain Blade of the Lunar Guard, should there be anything you need, please let me know. I would be most honored to grant you any service you require."

the door opens to the bar, an anthropomorphic mare about 18, stumbles in, cut and bruised. once at the bar she requests the pures alcohol they have, water and some bandages or clothe they may have. she sits down and looks around. her clothes were tattered, and singed and seemed to have been cut by a razer sharp blades. they seemed to have been silk with oriental patterns and may have been very pretty at one point.

The pegasi looked up from her smoothie, eyes widening for just a moment before settling back to normal, though she didn't stop sipping the drink for a short while. Eventually though, just as it was approaching awkwardness, the mare's lips finally left the straw and she spoke with just fragments of the nerves she had when first walking into the bar.

"Hi, I'm Nimbus Chaser, but you can call me Nim if you want," Nim replied throwing a very casual wave back to the guard. Just as Nim started enjoying her smoothie again, the next newcomer entered and quickly drew her attention. Concern joining forces with nervousness, she looked over and asked, "are you okay?"

Dropping the charade immediately upon seeing the injured mare, he looks at her, concerned, "What happened to you? Is there something I can do to help?"

The snow griffin doesn't lift his head. He just shortly says "Hi." and remains silent at his lonely table.

the thestral turned to the concerned mare and stallion and smiled softly, trying to lower the level of concern."I'm fine.. i just need these supplies to stay ok.* she said as softly as her smile. she turned to the bar "could i get a root beer too please" she flinched and doppled over in pain but held her own and got up and smiled a small bit to feign being ok.

"Liar," he rummages through his saddle bag, looking for medical supplies.

"i wont stop you from helping anyone else, but if you touch me i wont be held responsible" she said smiling but fully serious.

Nim was just about to offer her own help when the threstral stated her warning. That was more than enough to pull her hooves back, but her gaze still remained. "Well, if you're sure you're going to be okay then how about a name? Mine's Nim, how about you?"
