The Multi-Dimensional OC Bar

Vision breathes a sigh of relief. "Oh, that's good, then..." He frowns. "Hold on. 'We'?"

He nods, "Rain Flare of the Lunar Guard, at your service. I apologize for my counterparts behavior, he isn't the most pleasant pony to be around, especially when he's been drinking."

"But... you, he... uh..." The gears in Vision's mind turn. "Okaaaaaaay... would I be right to call this schizophrenia? Or split-personality disorder?"

"Not exactly, it is a rather long and complicated tale. Essentially though, this body shares to forms of the same pony. Blade was the original, I was created when an experiment of Chrysalis' went awry. It's far more complex and dangerous than a simple split personality."

Vision recoils. "Chrysalis? The... changeling queen? However did you fall into her clutches? And, for that matter, what kind of experiments were those?"

He nods, "Yes, the changeling queen. I, well Blade, was assigned to the changeling border after they attacked Canterlot. On a routine patrol he was kidnapped by the changelings. Don't ask how because I don't know, Blade either doesn't remember or has blocked it out for some reason. Anyways, the experiments were demented forms of Princess Luna's dream spells. The Nightmare was working with Chrysalis to create some perverse magic that would bring out ponies' most carnal desires when the moon rose. It stared with putting the ponies into a deep sleep in which they would dream of a semi-perfect world. In the case of Blade and I, though, the spell failed and ripped Blade's mind in half. They could still feed off of his desires in the fantasy world so they put him in a coma and let me have free roam in the false reality. Upon being rescued and woken, Blade and I have been very painfully sharing his mind."

"I... see." Vision chuckles nervously. "That's an interesting story. I can't imagine going through that myself." His horn sparks. "My job is to create a perfect world for those who want the escape."

"I would imagine that's why Blade wasn't very kind to you. Again, I apologize for his behavior."

"Well... apology accepted? I guess." Vision smiles. "It's not every day that somepony apologises to me. Usually it's the other way around."

He cocks his head, "Oh? And why might that be?"

"It's just..." Vision waves his hooves abstractly. "I live in Canterlot, and here everypony's not really... nice, y'know? They're always caring about themselves, how they look, how rich they are..." He sighs. "But me? I want to be liked. I don't like making enemies. So... I apologise a lot. Even for the most trivial of things... because I don't want to be hated."

"I live in Canterlot as well, so I know what you mean about the the majority of its citizens. Ponyville I find is a much kinder place, so I spen as much time there and away from the city as I can."

Vision sighs. "You know, I've never been to Ponyville before... maybe I ought to visit one day."

"You should, the townsponies are very welcoming and kind. It's quite a pleasant break from the busy life of Canterlot."

"I don't know, Canterlot's not all that busy for me." Vision says. "Just... not very welcoming, is all. Still, I'd like to see Ponyville for myself. It sounds pleasant."

"I'd offer to show you around some time, but I'm not so sure our dimensions coincide."

"Me neither." Vision frowns. "Say, from what I've heard of this Bar, people enter from different points in space and time, and even dimensions. Where did you come from?"

"I'm not entirely sure to be honest. Blade was looking for a place to drink, but instead of dragging us to the usual place, he seemed to be called towards an obscure tavern along an unmarked road. Whe we went inside, this is where we ended up."

"Unmarked road, huh?" Vision nodded. "I entered this place from Canterlot, myself. There used to be a different bar here, but now it's this one."

He chuckles softly, "Much more normal than our entrance then. Perhaps it was just the painkillers messing with our already distorted mind."

"Uh... huh." Vision shuffles awkwardly. "Um, I seem to have run out of things to say."

He nods in understanding, "Perhaps we can talk again another time. I thank you for your time."

"Yeah... I wasn't actually planning on leaving yet." Vision stares forward blankly. "... I guess we'll just stand here in awkward silence then."

"Oh, ahem, well..." trails off awkwardly, rubbing the back of his neck. "I've paid for a few more drinks if you care to join me."

"Um... sure." Vision shrugs. "Honestly, I don't drink very much. I'm one of those ponies who comes to a bar and orders water." He chuckles nervously.
