Harmony gazes at him, concerned. "Are you alright, dear?"

He nodded slowly. "Yeah, just tired love... I've had soooo much work..." He yawned again.

Ician takes a nonchalant sip. "Don't worry. The paperwork ought to lighten up as soon as this crisis ends."

Harmony smiles. "Shall I play a song for you, dear?"

He nodded. "Of course my love~" he turned to Ician. "Oh yes, a huge crisis. Damn changelings..."

"...What crisis?" Arianwyn asked. "What happened?"

"Well, it's not a crisis yet." Ician explains. "Just a little incident at the Eastern Sea. Changeling involvement is suspected, but nothing has been proven yet."

Meanwhile, Harmony strides over to the piano, taps a few keys, lifts her violin into the air with her telekinesis and, with the graceful pull of her bow, begins to play.

"Oh... knowing you, you'll probably take care of it." she says and sips her tea.

Ician chuckles heartily. "Thank you. It's nice to know that at least somepony has faith in my abilities." He turns his gaze to his glass. "It might just make up for the fact that even I don't."

"Eh you'll do fine." He stood up slowly, swaying happily to the music.

"Do you have a plan already?" she asks, finishing her tea.

"... Not really." Ician says. "I'm a tactician. I'm supposed to be commanding squadrons, battalions, contingents, armies! But instead, they send me to find a few ponies to bring off all the way to the Eastern Sea, without so much as the promise of any reinforcements." He sighs. "I can't help but feel that I'm out of my depth."

As the song finished, Paladin pounced on Harmony, kissing her passionately. He purred happily, before pulling away for a second. "You could give command to me." He returned his mouth to hers.

Harmony returns the kiss with gusto. Ician averts his gaze and shrugs helplessly. "Technically I don't have much power to begin with. In terms of war, my duty is simply to advise the Captain of the recommended course of action."

"Uh huh." He moaned, still kissing Harmony. "Up to you..." He rested on her chest, happily purring.

Ician sighs, trying to ignore Harmony's content moans. "Of course you'll be the replacement tactician. Though really, I'm theoretically the co-tactician. The other co-tactician's from the Lunar branch of the Guard. You'll be working with him, I think, while I'm gone."

Paladin shrugged, before nuzzling her chest softly. "I don't mind. The closer I am to Harmony, the better."

"Yes, well." Ician coughs awkwardly. "Right. Um. So, yes. That's it."

Harmony sighs happily, wrapping her hooves around Paladin in a hug.

He chuckled at Ician's awkwardness and hugged Harmony back, kissing her again. "I love you~"

"Mm, I love you too." Harmony returns the kiss.

Arianwyn sighs. "I never quite understood romance entirely.."

Ician shakes his head. "And I will never quite understand them."

"I mean, I am only 19 to begin with, and commanding an oversized ice cube doesn't help in me getting a special somepony" she says and giggles.

Ician rolls his eyes. "And I don't think I'm going to be having a special somepony anytime soon, either. I haven't known that kind of thing to end well for me."

Paladin purred and cuddled into Harmony. "Romance is great~ I never really saw the point before this..." He kissed. "But now I do."

Harmony kisses back. "And so do I..."

Ician sighs. "Just make sure Canterlot isn't overrun while I'm gone, okay?"
