Night time Sounds

"Ya I'll probably go the other directions if there was an wire trap for me. Grrr" leaping rooftop to rooftop. finding Rez jogging down the street again . "how long are these roads? Hmm." she looked towards the light."The "sun" moved from when we started the fight hopefully that means it be dark soon, then I could crack out the real fun spells."
With a smirk, gale disappered into the shadow alleyway below and follow Rez stay neck to neck with him.

Rez continued along until he got to what he was hunting for, a park. An expanse of greenery, spared the destruction of the rest of the city for the most part, and mostly flat as well. There were a few trees scattered about the area, but nothing extensive and so he stopped in the center of it. There he waited with his preparations in place, and ready to react to whatever Gale was about to throw at him.

Gale appeared in the shadow of the last building before the park. "... A park... we went all this way for a park... if he pop out a bunch of flowers. I'll going to kill him with the teeter totter."
Gale shadow over inside the park and reappear underneath the shade of an tree. Just standing there with staring down Rez. Her hoof continue to glow.

"What a wonderful thing about trees, they shift ever so slightly and make just the subtlest noise at just about anything, and on a windless field like this, that can only mean one thing," Rez thought to himself as he unleashed his already setup spell. A little skid of a hoof was all he needed, then taking that sound, he lowered it before turning it into another sound bomb. This one however wasn't directly aimed at Gale, but rather the tree she was hiding inside. The explosion of sound, traveling at that speed, blasting away the cover and more importantly for Rez, the shadows of the foliage that had just milliseconds before surrounded Gale.

With the shadows gone, Rez would have grinned if he'd a mouth to grin with before clanging the dagger against his gun which was now aimed at Gale. The metallic clang was turned into another higher pitched sound explosion aimed at Gale and racing towards her from behind while the pistol unleashed 3 fireballs straight at her.

"PFFFT HA, LIke I'm that stupid" While she was under her tree before it turn to a stick. She was doing a little thing of her own. Black rose spell that turns an small area of plant life to rose thorns and the grass was tiny little, perfect choices.
As she was lunch forward by rez's sound wave, she was followed by an small cloud of thorns using her sword to cut the fireballs. She then stabbed the ground and used the sword to pivot around and launched her self to another tree that had it's leafs. As the cloud of thorns  flew straight to rez. "Wouldn't kill him but it will be funny. Funnier if he could scream" Before jumping off the tree in to the shade. Once again her hoof glowed.

Rez's eyes went half-lidded in annoyance as the wing just reached forward and after the dagger's blade lengthened to that of a short sword, cut the bush in half vertically, leaving both halves to pass by him without issue. His attention however was still more towards trying to end this fight, so he sought to trying to turn her flee point into a trap. As Gale hit the shadow, an explosion of sound erupted from the impact point, exploding outwards from the shadow's location as it's point of origin.

" Mmmmhhh." As her hoof tap the tree and made the soundwave with her hoof, she stabbed the ground to slow her rocketing toward Rez.
With her free glowing hoof she pointed it at  rez. With only an few feet away from each other she whisper "buckshot." An ball of energy about the half the size of herself fired from her hoof right at Rez. Using the push from the spell, she flung herself back on to the grass patch under the tree where she was lunched from, particular the small line of shade the tree trunk blocked. "If he wanted a sword fight he should of said something." She finished with a smirk.

Rez was already stretching around the angle of the spell before it was even launched. Leaving his hooves planted where they were and just stretching the rest of him to the left to let the ball pass by harmlessly. However Rez still wasn't about to leave an easy access shadow for Gale to get back into, and he did so with another fresh sound bomb. This one was set a bit to the right of Gale though so if/when it sent her flying it wouldn't be towards him. He also threw out a second sound bomb above Gale, poised to drive her into the ground.

"ow" Gale body slammed into grass underneath her, but yet she been slammed to buildings, so getting slam in to dirt didn't hurt to much in comparison. Did gave her an idea.
Placing the knife in her mouth and she place her hooves down on the impact crater she made.  She then started to dig kicking up dirt in Rez's direction. "perks of having wereponies for friends." She dug enough so she had an little shadow to work with. She move the knife back to her right hoof and shove her head in the dirt. With an very muffler "ereh revo teg" She summon her ghostly chain for her left hoof any sound of them was muffed by the dirt. She raised her head back up and looked at rez with a smirk.

The spoken words didn't trigger Rez's next sound bomb, it was the rattling of the chain that was on her left hoof. Not one, but two blasts actually were readied and unleashed at Gale, one on either side of her, simultaneously to try and trap her between two explosive amounts of force.

"Ahh, Grr." The sound wave pile drive her even deeper to the ground making an deeper hole. "Might be too mean, but if I get worst he be begging for death."
Gale made an small arcane circle deep inside the hole, before shadow out of the hole. The chain around her are shorten to prevent any jangles. She place the sword in her mouth as both of her front hooves began to glow. She place the hoof over the hole which then began to fill and spread out black smoke again, But staying within a circle. Gale once again grin while looking up at Rez from across the circle. "Now for him to come sniffing."

Rez watched the hole for a moment, then took two steps back and stomped his hooves. A rumbling could be heard then as an underground sound explosion erupted beneath Gale, displacing and forcing a large amount of earth upwards to fill back in the hole. Simultaneously, a much higher pitched sound explosion triggered right above Gale, made from the sound of the dagger clanging off of Rez's pistol.

"Well, Can't drag him to Heck, but slamming him to the ground over and over, might make up for it." As the hole was filled up with earth. The smoke that once filled the hole spilled out on to the park coating the field in smoke.
From the newly filled up hole, five thick chains with shackle raised up and shot directly toward Rez. As her body once again was slammed to the ground. She shadow into the smoke to both prevent major damage and to set her trap.

Rez flapped his wings to propel himself into a back flip, or something like one anyways as he moved away from the chains. While in the movements that left Rez facing the cloud of smoke, he created a series of sound explosions all around it, trying to trap the cloud in the spot of the filled in hole, partially to just keep it condensed to one area, partially to see if that limited the chains reach, and partially to see if he'd actually managed to trap Gale if not hurt her under the constant pressure of rather extreme sonic vibrations.

"Good news I'm out of harms way, Bad news this I can't travel much of anywhere, oh well Heck's chains would deal with it... I hope." Gale remain in her shadow form in the center of the five chains.
The chains didn't hit the ground before all shot for him again two aiming high and two aiming low with the last one serpahtining left an right between them as the chain from circle continues to produce more chain for each of them.

Rez just stopped. He stopped after the end of the latest cartwheel he was doing and just stood there, waiting for the chains to take hold and do whatever it was they were going to do to him. However, the sonic prison he had up didn't diminish in the slightest as he was snagged. There wasn't even a noticeable glow to his eyes to prove he needed to actively supply it with magic to keep it going. But ultimately, he was done with the fancy maneuvers, and tired of dodging for the moment.

The shackles grabbed Rez from all fours and the neck. The chain shot them selfs upwards along with rez to a point above the the circle of origins as the chain get absorbed the black smoke to prevent any clinging. The chains once again shot downwards at a high speed faster than free falling.
Gale stayed in her shadow form, as the original chain spell can't work due to the dirt. She is unsure of what the spell would do once the body hits the ground.

Rez's limbs moved, but his body didn't. As the chains decided to drag him along for a ride, it just stretching him about and any part that wasn't being directly pulled by a chain simply remained where it was as Rez watched the display curiously. It didn't hurt after all, and he was curious about what all these chains would do. Deciding to do a little test of his own while this was going on, he began to 'modify' one of his limbs, and he went about this by increasing the size of the limb while the chain was wrapped around it, seeing if he could eventually break free by simply presenting too much mass to be contained. Meanwhile, a second, third, and fourth experiment were also being conducted. While one hoof increased in size, another diminished to see if it could just slip out of the chain's grasp by becoming too thin for the links to establish a hold. The third hoof tried fighting off the pull of the chain, trying to hold it still while the wings that held Rez's gun and knife attacked the chain to see if it could be destroyed that way. And finally, on the last chain that was holding one of Rez's hooves, Rez targeted the area where the chain was passing through one of his continuous sound explosions. That particular spot had it's volume cranked upward steadily towards the points where it'd begin to shatter stone and bend metal.

the shruncle limb got loose as the shackles lost their grip  it once again  Shot to rez head. 
Fighting back didn't help much but slowed the chain down.
As for the last chain continue it decent.
The chain around Rez neck shot down even faster pass the other ones that were busy. As the chain and neck pass the point of gales height. Gale appeared with sword in mouth only to perform the slice before disappearing again. The slice aim directly for rez's neck. 
"Die you son of a."

If Rez could grin, he would have. If Rez could have talked, he would have. But as he could do neither of these, he resorted to just his actions. The second that the one chain lost it's grip on the thinned out hoof, Rez repeated the action with his other hooves and began it on his neck as well, rapidly reeling his stretched out neck and head in, but so fast as to not see the pony head with blade already in mid slice that his head was currently rushing towards. Now if there was one thing he wasn't short on right now, it was sounds. There were chains rattling, the sound explosions still going off, and his music was still playing just to name a few.

So a soon as he saw that head and blade swinging towards his neck, Rez created a small series of smaller, more condensed sound explosions. One at the edge of the blade to blast it back and away from his neck, and then 2 more at Gale's face to try and send her flying backwards. Not wanting to put all his eggs in one basket though, Rez still stretched his neck at an odd angle and flattened it as much as he could so that even if the sound bomb failed, his neck would be out of the way of the otherwise fatal strike, and once it passed his neck would spring back into position but continue to slip through the bindings while being thinned.

"This guy really starting to tick me the BUCK off." The sword bounce off gale sword stopping to swing but not causing damage  the chains manage to catch gale before she fell to far from the shadow hole. Gale Once again disappeared in the shadows.
Once again the chains went shooting to Rez but this time with a different mission on mind.

Rez had just gotten his limb back to him as he noticed the chains giving chase once again. Well the last time had been too close for the mutant, what with Gale still hiding in that little collection of fog. Rez jumped back from the chains, stretched a limb out to a nearby building, and pulled himself well away from the chains. As he swung away from the building, Rez glanced back to see if the chains were still following. Meanwhile, the constant sound bombs that had previously kept the fog limited to that small area finally dispersed and stopped.

The chains followed Rez as he stretched to the building. As the smoke spread out gale appeared behind the chains so they wouldn't hit her. She just sat down and took a deep breath. "Keep ya cool gale rage would only get your self killed, now he knows about my shadows he probably going to find an nice bight spot again." Gale looked up at the sun. "But ,how much longer would he even have a bright spot If I could survive till night I can finally get serious.But for now." 
Gale brought her sword back to it original knife size and hoister it, she closed her eyes and got to meditating. As the chains followed rez along the buildings one was right behind one underneath him as the last two were on the opposite side of the street.

As he continued his arcing swing, Rez reached out another hoof and continued to swing away as the chains gave chase. Occasionally, he'd fire off a shot or two at the chains, but past that, Rez just continued swinging away from them.

Gale got out of her mediating state an refocus on the target. The darkness from her legs return back to only being half way up the legs. She took an look at the chains. "Hopefully this works." Gale simply tapped the chains so they make an single line.  Making a small path of shadow to block out the setting sun and disappearing in the path.
The chain react to the adjustment and all gather to the other side of where Rez is swinging. making sure they don't cling in to each other.
