"What if say... There was an illusion of you."

Silver raised an eyebrow. "That... might actually work. But can Vision sustain an illusion for so long? Plus, who's actually going to be beneath the illusion? It'll have to be somepony as well-informed as I concerning matters of state."

"I'm sure Luna would not mind helping out."

"She runs the Night Court too." Silver said. "She needs her rest sometime."

"I dunno then."

"Maybe I'll educate a successor. I do need to have a potential heir just in case of... well, you know. But who?" She mused. "Cadance is already taking care of the Crystal Empire, Twilight has her place in Ponyville..."

"There isn't anyone really... I mean, the only pony who knows as much about your internal affairs is me..."

"You're right." Silver frowned contemplatively, the corners of her mouth curving ever-so-slightly upwards. "I wonder who it could be... got any suggestions?"

"None... There is literally no one."

"Hm. Pity, then." She sighed. "Oh well."

"Of course you." Celestia tapped his shoulder. "You know everything. I'll leave Insight on hold, so you can wake him up from his morning sleep with any questions via a telepathic link if you need to."

"Oh. I thought you meant you were making me your successor..." She nodded. "I can help Inisght for sure."

"All you need to do is sit on the throne, think a little bit, and ask Insight if you've got any questions." Silver nodded. "That ought to do it."

"Ah, okay. Yes, I think I can do that." Platinum chuckled. "Imagine, me your heir. Rediculous."

"Precisely." Silver nodded with a smile. "Completely out of the question."

"Unless you want that?" Platinum raised a questioning eyebrow.

"Well, thinking like a soldier and thinking like a monarch are two different things." Silver said. "You'll need to be trained properly first."

"True. Are you willing to teach me?"

"Of course. Maybe after the negotiations, though. I'll have to make a lesson schedule and checklist." Silver blinked. "I'm starting to sound like Twilight."

"I still dislike her. But I must concede she is quite organised."

Silver raised an eyebrow. "Why do you dislike her?"

"Honestly? She just annoys me. I don't know why. She just does."
