"I just thought you would have found someone..."

"Maybe once upon a time." Silver sighed. "Of course, I outlived all of them. Let's just say I haven't found anypony new."

"I see..." She shook her head. "Maybe if you opened up a little more."

"We've been through this." Silver sighed. "I'll try. But right now is not the time, with the changeling diplomat in the Palace."

"Indeed. I think you'll find ponies are rather accepting..." Platinum smiled.

"Some of them, if not all." Silver glanced around. "What was Insight saying about that protest?"

"Some ponies were complaining about the new law, the one that allows us to search for weapons."

"Oh, right. They don't know that I was almost assassinated twice." Silver nodded. "I'm surprised the Palace managed to keep the information in so effectively."

"What are you talking about? There were no assassinations over the past few days."

"Hm? But the ones you... oh right. Secrecy." Silver said.

"Indeed... I believe these wounds will heal nicely." She giggled and listened to Harmony play.

The orchestra eventually wrapped up their song and progressed smoothly on to a new piece.

Platinum yawned and blinked a few times. "Weird... I feel really tired."

"Maybe it's because you were running around with wounds in your side all day." Silver remarked. "Nonetheless, this is a much calmer piece."

"Oh, you know what we could do?" Platinum's eyes lit up in excitement.

"Um..." Silver hesitated. "What?"

"We could organise speed dating." She smiled excitedly. "What do you say?"

"Speed... dating?" SIlver cocked her head. "What would that be like?"

"You spend a minute or so with each stallion. You get to know them, and if you don't like em, you never see them again."

"Well, that sounds like a... novel idea." Silver contemplated the proposal. "But the stallions must be carefully chosen. The last thing I'd want to happen is to be assassinated while on a date."

"Of course. I'll be hidden and watching over you of course."

"Whether you're fast enough to stop them would be a different issue." Silver reminded him. "Still, we'll see. If I have free time some day within the next five years I might try it."

"Sooner than that please." She giggled. "You need to get out more."

"Yes, but the Day Court just loves to drain my time." Silver sighed.

"I can handle a few nobles Silver."
