Name: Vindi Lou “La Mostruosa” Svendolli
Race: Goblin Pony (Tinker)
Age: 23
Mane: Vindi Lou’s mane is kept long and quite straight, typically left to flow over the right side of her neck; the actual cut is supposedly a ‘hime cut’ that Leven picked up while making a roundabout in Neighpon. While it’s too annoying for Leven to deal with in her daily life, Vindi is a little bit less restricted in style.
Coat: Vindi Lou has a dull pink coat of rather shaggy, curling fur, which has the lovely effect of capturing large amounts of muck and mud for her to make friends with.
Tail: Vindi Lou’s tail is relatively long, but its style is relatively mercurial; sometimes it gets put together in a rat-tail like Avendar’s (quite provocative, given the nature of that gender swap), sometimes much of it is made into a bun so that it becomes a very short tail (especially if she’s going out with Leven), and sometimes the long thin strands are left to their own devices and choose to fan out behind her like a bridal train.
Cutie mark.: A slice of marbled cake, unfrosted.
Extra details that aren't needed but are nice to add:
Distinguishing Features: The least mangy of the Svendolli’s, Vindi Lou is still a mangy little horse, and little is definitely a decent description; while just a little bigger than Avendar, this isn’t exactly saying much. More distinctive than that is the set of goat horns atop her head. Those are only complemented by the fact that her hooves are cloven; honestly if it weren’t for body morphology she’d probably be mistaken for a mangy kid than a little monstrous pony.
Specialty (eg. special spells, unique powers etc): Vindi Lou is regarded as an absolutely amazing chef by her littermates and as the most devious deviser of poison the world has ever known by literally everyone else. It doesn’t even kill its victims: It provokes such pain and illness that its recipients come to regret everything they have ever done and aim to repent for whatever wrong they must have done for the universe to punish them so. Vindi Lou and the other Svendollis are all completely oblivious to this fact, probably because all of them find her cooking scrumptious and filling. Any involvement in preparation is sufficient to cause this response in whatever parts of the meal she prepared, regardless of ingredient quality or even if she simply diced a perfectly fine vegetable as part of a dish, though simply handing ingredients to someone is insufficient to constitute “involvement”.
In terms of magic, Vindi couldn’t really be any more average. She has enough acuity to affect the temperatures of objects, but that’s about as fine-tuned her abilities get, and she much prefers rote telekinesis overall.
Like the rest of the litter, Vindi Lou is fluently bilingual, speaking Equestrian and Neightalian.
Weaknesses: Whether through purpose or unknowing naivete, Vindi Lou is happy to walk into dangerous situations without any care for what might happen. It’s honestly quite the bad habit, though it does come with the perk of getting to serve food to nasty ponies who don’t quite understand why they’re suddenly heading towards the light.

History: In the beginning, there was nothing. And then there was something. And then there was Prim Alha. But the something was still basically nothing for a while, even though it wasn’t quite nothing. Eventually, however, the something managed to become something else, and that something else was the great big land of Equestria, with ponies and donkeys and goats and smiles and rainbows!
Well, after becoming a lot of other things on the way to that. This was a rather long “eventually”. And on that world with that tiny little country with its solar and lunar goddesses, some poor fool gave birth to La Mostruosa. That poor fool should have been burned at the stake simply for that crime and that sin alone.
Vindi Lou Svendolli herself was, on the other hand, a perfectly innocent actor in all of this. It’s not really her fault she was born. Getting Vindi Lou to not be born would be about as successful as telling Leven to stop adventuring or getting Avendar to stop being fastidious.
Anyway, Vindi Lou was the runt of her litter, quite literally. The smallest of the lot physically and with as much talent as a rock has got, the little thing found herself regularly consoled and comforted by her littermates, who were more than happy to mollycoddle their least quarter. So doted on, she grew as the most innocent and optimistic of the lot, almost childish in comparison to her other siblings.
It was a wonderful life in that spacious but homely little cavern they all lived in. But all good things simply must come to an end, and not even loving on their not-so-little-anymore sister could keep the Svendolli litter together forever. Though she personally was heavily tempted by a promise of weekly dungeon dances; nonetheless, they all chose to head out into the world and see it in all its glory. Vindi Lou, being Vindi Lou, immediately made her way onto a random street and started walking. Or trotting, as the lingo may be.
As the old saying goes, all roads lead to Roam. And that is exactly where her trail took her, though not without a few detours on the way to make a few bits here and there from those few rural farmers that didn’t immediately get out the pitchforks and torches. A few potatoes peeled here, an offer to prepare someone’s supper if she could take the leftover for the road, things like that.
She was honestly surprised when she got to Roam and saw so many newspapers declaring a crisis of national proportions as wide swaths of the countryside had fallen ill to some kind of mysterious, unidentifiable disease over the last six months.
This is the point where Roam itself became the true epicenter of the maddeningly impossible plague. It’s also when Vindi Lou found employment in the backroom of a little slummy shantyhouse where she fixed up simple food that would get distributed throughout the city by street vendors.
Perhaps it’s sheer luck that these two things occurred simultaneously. Nonetheless, while Vindi Lou’s cooking was never directly connected to it, the timing of her arrival got her dubbed “La Mostruosa”, as it seemed she had brought with her, riding on the air, this unexplainable plague. She never showed any sign of suffering from it though, so it’s not like anyone exactly had any reason to accuse her of causing it.
Even if she totally did cause it. Completely on accident sure, and with absolutely no understanding of how that would even be possible, but cause it she did.
And for 6 years the city of Roam suffered greatly.
Six years of unending torture upon all those innocent little ponies.
And then Vindi Lou, having explored the cuisine of Roam and all its flavors in her years of living there, moved on. And like a disciple, the ‘plague’ followed her, at least for a little bit. She headed for Germaney, and there she met up with her ‘big brother’ Avendar, and there was much drinking and carousing between the two, before she promptly took over his little hovel of a homestead and forced him to focus on what was left of his studies in engineering.
This, strangely enough, coincided with the cessation of the strange disease that followed her across two nations for six whole years.
Over the next two years, the pair were joined by Leven Svendolli as well, and as Avendar finished his little “scholarship”, the three headed to Equestria to find a place to stay in the world. And that is where they made their home. Eventually, even naughty little Sven came to stay with them all.
And they were finally a litter again. All together. All for one, and one for all.

Personality: Vindi Lou is a very optimistic little gobbo, almost always happy to face the world with smiles. And cupcakes. She is an innocent little girl and ruining that would be a grave sin, though that hasn’t done anything to dissuade Sven. Certainly not Dream Sven. Educating her on the truths of the world tends to result in nose or ear twisting from the ‘innocent’ little gobbo, presumably some kind of evolutionary self-defense response to the destruction of innocence.
Current Home: An earthern bern house in the midlands of Equestria, put together by Leven and Avendar while she supervised.

Specialty (eg. special spells, unique powers etc): She can manipulate small amounts of plant life. She can make vines move, flowers bloom, or grass grow.

Weaknesses: She’s still young and can’t really do much with it. Of course if aged up, she’d have more control and be able to do more.

Occupation: Schoolfilly

Gear: A saddlebag full of schoolbooks and a mind full of learning. Or something like that.

History: The child of Strawberry Breeze and Wild Card, in some alternate reality where Strawberry is not a violent lesbian. They traveled with Sunshine together for a time before Strawberry left to raise Night Rose. During her time in school, she showed a large interest in sports, mainly hoofball. She also took an interest in gardening, when she discovered her special talent. Of course, the call of adventure was too great and she returned to the Bardis with Night Rose, where she’s watched by Viola when her parents are busy.

Personality: Cheerful, upbeat, almost to the point of bubbly. She tends to have a short attention span, but seems rather bright for her age. A psychiatrist might say she has ADD, but I say it’s called being a child.(Yes I’m bitter about my own childhood)

As well as the mare extremely quick on her feet, but not all too strong for a kirin of her stature, relying more on the weight and skill at using light force to give her axes maximum impact with only light amounts of force added, as well as the mare capable of taking quite a bit of hurt before she’s put down.

Weaknesses: Cannot combat magic very well at all, it is also not that difficult to out strength her, as she is more reliant on her speed than strength.

Occupation: Lt. to Captain Hawke Moonstrider.

Gear: Two simple, but very high quality steel axes, a long, black-and-grey scarf, and a simple set of robes reinforced with hidden steel plating and leather padding.

History: Praelia grew up outside Dracotalon with her brother, and their mother was the one to raise the two, as their father was a soldier, and was usually helping train recruits in Dracotalon. Every once in a while, however, Praelia’s father brought the whole family to witness the prowess of Kirin warriors. It was during such times Praelia was most excited. She loved seeing the combat, and as she grew up, she spent more and more time with her father, learning to fight, and to use her less-muscular build to it’s full potential. Years passed, and Praelia ended up as quite the warrior, Lieutenant to Captain Hawke Moonstrider. But her family hit misfortune, and while Praelia was in Dracotalon, honing her skills against the city’s best, her parents and brother were killed. Though Praelia never did find out where they were buried, having only found out a month after they were gone. But she did not mourn too long. After searching for a few months, she went to a priestess, and had their funeral rites spoken.

Personality: Kind, and playful, and very friendly to most

Mane: Dull orange. It's bunched up in a pony tail behind his head, but he still manages to whap himself in the face with it if he turns too quickly.

Distinguishing Features: Alaric has a very strong Trottingham accent. It becomes progressively harder to understand the more excited/upset he gets with the bloody bonkers slang he uses, wot wot.

Specialty: Alaric is a Bard by trade and at heart. Quick-witted and charming, he's got a sharp tongue when it comes to puns, poetry and storytelling. He is also very agile, hopping from all four hooves to two and even performing acrobatic feats such as high jumps or flips.

His cutie mark symbolizes his aptitude for illusion magic - puppeting his voice from a distant source, light shows, faked sights and such. He can do offensive magic, but his greatest feat would be an average but well-placed telekinetic push to just trip another pony and outmaneuver them. Or, y'know, a relatively plain fireball.

His real bread and butter, however, is in that cane he always keeps with him: it conceals a rapier-like hidden sword. For all his declarations of being a "Wizard", he's very skilled at fencing to the point that he's taken up adventuring.

As a regular traveler, Alaric has knowledge of the world and of strange and bizarre customs. He knows strange but helpful things like how to properly care for a snake bite, and that moss growing on something actually doesn't mean a damned thing, unless it's magic moss.

Last but not least, Alaric is pretty good at sleight of hoof. You probably shouldn't play cards with him, but you should totally ask him to sing or write a song for you.

Weaknesses: Alaric is too brave for his own good, at times. He finds himself in over his head with whatever he's doing. Notable examples include exaggerated feats of magic, picking a fight with more things than him or things that are just bigger than he is or just overworking himself to the point of exhaustion and collapsing. He has little love for restraint and tends to gamble, even if the odds are against him.

Even if he's quick and good with that sword, he can't take loads of punishment.. If anything, a couple good hits and he's down. He's also way too concerned with how spectacular something would look, even if it would encumber him.

In Alaric's travels, there were encounters that weigh on his mind. As hilarious as it may be, he has fears of carnivorous plants.. and frogs. There's a good chance he'll be jittery around a giant anything, but a giant variant of either of those will more than likely cause him to have a morale failure and run. A giant frog and a giant venus fly trap both tried eating him one upon a time (so he swears up and down).

Lastly, Alaric was very lucky once upon a time, and managed to land a well-placed blow on a dragon enough to render it unconscious. Ever since, he doesn't feel an ounce of fear around dragons and sometimes things that resemble, which is very bad for any pony with good self-preservation instincts.

Occupation: Bard, Magician, Adventurer

Gear:
- A wooden cane that has a hidden, double-edged thin blade inside of it. There's also a thinner, second dagger-length blade hidden in the handle for the scarier encounters.
- A worn deck of cards bought from a casino in Las Pegasus.
- A leather-bound journal, mostly filled with notes about ponies and places, poems and songs. There's a sketch or two in there, too. In the strap that clasps it shut, there's a quill and a sealed vial of ink.

History:
Alaric was born in Trottingham, and he goes from that to how after he saw a particularly amazing show with a Great and Powerful flair, he decided he would become the best magician in all of Equestria in a way that pointedly segues away from any trace of him growing up. Unfortunately, he didn't have a lot of resources to make or purchase props, so he would usually improvise. This made him look like he performed poorly though, so the most he would get hired to do would be small parties. It was a seemingly endless cycle of poverty, and Alaric sniffles during this part in his story. Aww.

But when all seemed lost, there was an open advertisement calling for any unicorn who would be willing. No experience needed, it said. Intrigued, Alaric had met up with a hardy-looking group that said that they had one mage, but they wanted a second. Alaric explained he was a magician, and they should look no further. Pleased, they took inducted him into their fold without a second thought.

For several weeks past that point, things went swimmingly. As far as he was concerned, Alaric was getting paid to follow a small group of ponies and sing songs. He was also asked to stay in the back next to the other mage, who he sighs dreamily when he regales about her: Puzzle Mint, a very beautiful but business-like and no-nonsense sort of mare. Life was good.

Until the bandits came, anyway.

The details are fuzzy, as it was a frantic mess. In the middle of the night an ambush was sprung, and the ponies panicked because their two mages were flanked by a bunch of armor-clad ne'er-do-wells. All was looking rather grim until Alaric calmly drew a sword from his humble walking stick, and neatly stabbed a few of them. The encounter was a fairly straightforward victory after that, even if Alaric had explained he was a magician.. just not the kind they wanted so much as a "magician of stabbing". Which still worked out fine for them! They traveled from city to city, finding out various wrongs and delivering the shibbledibble to the whatever until they reached Canterlot where.. uh..

Alaric trails off, clearing his throat. He doesn't outright say it, but either he lost his friends or they ditched him. Instead, he just kind of grins in that boyish way, and demands you pick a card from a deck being shoved in your face. Since then, he just.. wanders, really. He's not sure if he's supposed to be looking for his friends, but a wistful look in his eyes tell you that he is.

Personality: Alaric is a pony that likes to have fun. He's a suave gambler, a daring adventurer, and an innovative magician and song/storywriter to boot. He's looking for his place in the world, wherever that may be.

Specialty: pyrokinesis, healing tears, regeneration; Phoenix Song: with melodious vocalizations, she can move the sun (when she's older, I mean), perform basic telekinesis, and share her emotions with others. However, if she adds words, she can perform more complicated magics, such as rejuvenating and reviving plants and performing spells normally limited to horned ponies

Weaknesses: naivety, ignorance, the physical limitations that come with being 11 years old; she might accidentally use Phoenix Song when intending to sing normally

History: Song’s history begins long before she was born. When she was still an egg: the first and only daughter of the Sun Pharaoh Ra. The laying of her egg was a joyous occasion, and gave the kingdom hope and anticipation for a brilliant and prosperous future. Unfortunately, Song’s egg came only months before the kingdom would be invaded and conquered.

Cats invaded the kingdom. When they reached the castle, their leader threatened to smash Song’s egg if Ra did not give her his secret name. The cats had made sure that Ra had no other way to save his daughter, so he complied, and as soon as he had given her his name, the leader used it to banish him from existence. Then she used a powerful spell to put Song’s egg into suspended animation and placed it upon her new scepter: a trophy of their conquest and new rule over the kingdom of Gallypt.

Over time, as with many things, this event became mere legend to most. In time, Song’s egg found its way into an Equestrian museum that Celestia (with Philomena) visited one day. Philomena recognized Song’s egg for what it was, partially because the suspension spell was finally wearing off, and in the night snuck into the museum and took Song’s egg. Celestia found out of course, and scolded Philomena, until Song started hatching.

Now Song’s life begins, though there isn’t much to tell right now. Celestia and Philomena care for her, Celestia homeschools (castleschools?) her, and tries to keep her existence known to as few as possible. They don't actually know the history of Sol Song's egg, since the lioness that took Ra's throne ordered the destruction of records of him being a phoenix-griffon, just because she could.

Personality: Sol Song is cheerful and energetic, but sheltered. She loves to sing and dance and share her joy and energy with others. She’s very empathetic and hates to see ponies hurting. She’s ignorant, and naive, and selfish, and temperamental, at times, as kids her age can be.

Distinguishing Features: is fond of sparkly dresses, jewelry, turtlenecks, and Prench berets; as such, she is often seen with such items

Specialty: a spell that, with the phrase “I wish…” will grant the caster’s wish near-instantly. Terms and conditions apply: no wishing for the death, life, or love of someone. The spells also have a power limit: the greater (short-term) effect the spell will have (directly), the more power it takes (basically means she can’t wish to be the queen of Equestria or anything like that).

Weaknesses: in public, Starlight Wish puts on a facade of kindness and bounteous morality. However, this facade starts to break if the situation diverges from how she wants it to go and a simple “I wish” won’t fix it. Also, wishes that directly affect physical, mental, or magical aspects are always temporary, and excessive use of them will have adverse effects.

Gear: designer purse, earrings, necklace, dress or turtleneck

History: Starlight Wish was born into great wealth. She grew up in a mansion, the Gold Mansion, and she had maids and a butler to look after her when her father, Pure Gold, was busy, or her mother, Married Rich, was finding a reason to be busy.

Starlight was put into, or at least applied for, many, many different programs, clubs, private lessons, and even Celestia’s School for Gifted Unicorns (though she failed to meet the requirements for admittance). Her father did this hoping to help Wish find her special talent faster and make friends, but this accomplished neither of those goals: she quickly grew to resent any group of ponies she was forced into, and… well, there isn’t exactly a class for ponies who want to use wish spells.

However, Wish thrived in the high school environment. Being pretty and rich made her one of the most popular ponies in school, and it was where she learned how to sabotage other ponies out of jealousy or for amusement (and where she gained her preference for disproportionate retribution) without being caught (most of the time). She became a particularly vicious, textbook Alpha Bitch

High school was also when she earned her cutie mark, as well as earning a moment in the limelight. Wish met a pegasus member of a Nightmare cult who wasn't particularly good at hiding his affiliation. She charmed him into letting her join the cult; Wish had a plan. During this, she found a page out of an unknown magic book within the pegasus's personal journal: the Wish Spell. She took it. Later, she directed the Royal Guard to the group on the night of a meeting and got her fifteen minutes of fame when the Canterlot papers and even Princess Celestia herself praised her as a hero.

The first use of the Wish Spell was on her mother: Wish’s father was finally tired of Married Rich’s shit and divorced her, and Married got half of Gold’s money and belongings. As Wish was dependent on her dad’s money, she saw this as Married taking half of her stuff as well. She wanted revenge, so just as Married was finally leaving, Wish wished for her to have a brain aneurysm. This took more power than she thought it would, but it worked: it cost Married sight in her right eye and ability to use magic.

Later, now assured the spell worked, Wish used it to cause her dad to fall down a flight of stairs and snap his neck (which she considered rather lucky). Now that she had his remaining money, and owned his Equestria-wide chain of banks, she was set for life and could use the Wish Spell however and whenever she liked, as long as she was careful about it.

Personality: Given her age and privileged life, Starlight is rather immature, impatient, and inexperienced. That does not make her unintelligent, as she is very capable of long-term plotting and understands the consequences of little actions and events. She’s spoiled and selfish and does not care about the well-being of other ponies, although she is experienced in faking it. Starlight gets pleasure from undermining and sabotaging other ponies, sometimes out of spite or just for shits and giggles. She's also racist.

History: Her earliest memories are of living in an orphanage with her older sister, Day Lilly, she never knew their parents. Being a herm made growing up difficult, and her affinity with the deceased didn't help. Her sister always did what she could to protect her from bullies and harmful spirits, spending hours researching ways to ward them off or even vanquish them for good. Unfortunately it was all for not, as the spirits continued to come, one of them causing a fire that burned the orphanage to the ground. Day Lilly perished shielding Aurora from falling debris. Many were disturbed by Aurora's lack of grievance at the loss of her sister, unaware that Day Lilly's spirit stayed to look after Aurora. When Aurora came of age and could no longer stay at the orphanage she had been transferred to, she got a job as a waitress at a small restaurant, making enough to rent a small apartment for herself in a decent part of the city.
Personality: Cheerful amongst friends and at work, shy and insecure with strangers outside of work.

History: Vaguely remembers a happy life with her parents and younger sister at their home in Canterlot, she cannot recall what ended it, what caused the death's of their parents and their moving to the orphange, though she suspects it has something to do with their family's ties to the land of the dead. While at the orphange she did everything she could to protect Aurora from the bullies and the malicious spirits that would come after them, but ultimately she failed, a fiend made it through her wards and set fire to the whole building, trapping her and her sister in their room. She sacfaficed herself to save Aurora as the ceiling caved in, using her body to save her younger sister. She couldn't leave the mortal plan though, she wouldn't abandon her sister to face the world on her own, so she stayed to watch over her, at first planning on keeping her presence hidden from Aurora, but that quickly ended when she saw how broken Aurora was about her passing, so she revealed herslef, leading to her sisters rapid and seemingly unnatural recovery from such a traumatic loss. She now lives with Aurora in her apartment in Canterlot.
Personality: Protective of those she cares about, very practical and takes charge in serious situations, otherwise very lax and promiscuous

History: Spent her first hundred years in the forests of Neighpon, occasionally sneaking into towns to borrow books and scrolls to study and helping any she could. Once she gained her ability to shapeshift, she began to spend more time in the towns openly, feeling more comfortable on two legs with the other residents. Ever seaking knowledge, she enrolled in school, finding the opportunity quite inviting with the potential of a little mischief and romance on the side.

Um... 9mm gattling guns? Missiles? Bombs Unless this character is meant for a futuristic setting or FoE-verse, that's far more firepower than can really be permitted. I like the idea, but that firepower is way out there considering that as far as we know from canon, weaponry goes as high-tech as a spear. Either designate her for certain kinds of RP only, or discuss this issue with me over Skype; even if I'm not active in the chatrooms, I'm typically around or soon will be.
