"A mercenary? You must always have an interesting life, then. Many different jobs..." she said and smiled, looking around at the skies as the airship continued floating wherever it was headed. She hesitated for a moment after hearing Sugary's question. She sighed before finally answering. "I am trying to be a maid and a chef for whoever has a house with hallways and rooms big enough for me." she said, looking away again. "Though I am always so clumsy about it and always manage to screw up one thing or another, leading to me being fired."

How could one raise the spirits of another? Sugary hoped to find out along the way as Shanny shared of tough times, gathering his materials to go sightseeing again of the railing. "... So that's it. Pardon, but for what it's worth, my offer still stands and I do wish you success for when we get there... By the way, would you like to watch the horizon with me? I do still need to finish working on this map I got here."

"Well, surely I won't mind getting a ride there... My wings need rest as is." The dragoness said and followed Sugary before sitting down just before the railing, observing the landscape below them and the horizon. "Working on a map?" Shanny curiously asked the stallion. "I thought they had already mapped these areas long ago." she added, enjoying the slight breeze.

"Mm...? Oh, yes, but this is just for me. I'm not a cartographer, I'm just updating what I own. Unfortunately, I lack the natural affinity flying beings have for knowing were to go... This airship of mine may take me to the skies, but it can't take the skies to me like I'm sure your wings do for you. Sometimes I'd be willing to trade my horn for wings of my own..." He'd keep working at his map after sharing one of his treasured desires, looking through a telescope and checking his compass while jotting down some more till he'd be just about finished.

Shanny sighed. "I suppose I am quite the opposite. I wish I could use magic to help out with my job, it would be just so much easier." she said, slightly yawning and stretching her arms before laying her head down on the rail, continuing to look at the horizon. "I mean, sure, wings are great and fun if you want to feel free. But they're only an annoyance when working in small closed spaces."

Sugary chuckled at Shanny as he finished up with his map. "Okay, fair enough... Granted, being a Magi means being responsible with your magic. Don't wanna break things you shouldn't, we have to avoid letting our emotions get the best of us, or we may end up harming ourselves in an instant... By the way, I'm done here, so I'll be getting ready to depart soon. Do you need anything else, or are you good with just those sheets there?"

Shanny smiled as she was asked the question. "Oh, I think your sheets are more than enough." She answere, pointing at her large rucksack. "I have most of my stuff in there... Though it wouldn't hurt to change out of these somewhat sweaty clothes." She added, continuing to observe the horizon.

"Oh, go ahead and change, I'm not leaving just yet. You should have more than enough time." said he nonchalantly, seemingly not the least bit concerned over the fact she'd show herself to the world around them and himself as if it were every bit as natural as breathing. If she thought, by any chance, he was being a pervert, he wasn't showing any signs of ill intent though... And then he seemed to realize something as he flinched and looked at her. "... Unless you want some privacy...? I could... hold the sheets up around you maybe?" The way he asked her about it was like a foreign sentence he wasn't used to saying.

Shanny slightly blushed at the thought. Sure, it was normal for ponies to have the privacy, but she, however... let's just say that dragons in tribes don't usually wear clothing. "Oh, no, I'm fine, thank you." She said. "Unless, well, you're not exactly fine with that. In that case, look away I suppose." She added and giggled. If Sugary would be fine with her changing clothes just like that in the open, she would do so, gently pulling off her clothing and revealing white underwear underneath. She would stay that was as she would search through her large rucksack for her clothing, and when she would find it, she would put it on unless disturbed by the stallion.

Since neither of them seemed especially eager to shy away from one another... He did watch her in her underwear. "Nah, it's fine actually. Just some seem to get very... withdrawn about that. Really a shame if you ask me..." And yet, his focus, once again, went to her wings it seemed, though he did have a good look at the colors of her body just out of curiosity.

Despite looking though, he just calmly got his things and moved back into the ship to leave her be, though he did smile a bit more, thinking her slight chub had a certain charm to a well developed body like hers. "And with that, I'll be right up in the bridge. If you need anything, just wave, I can see you from the windows just fine." He'd begin tinkering with the controls again, being fairly visible to her if she just stood tall and looked his way.

Shanny would now be wearing some loose tracksuit pants and a green t-shirt. She would smile at Sugary as he said that he'll be on the bridge and nodded. "Right-o, captain." She said and giggled before slowly making her way to the ship's bow, lightly leaning over the fence to observe where they are heading. If Sugary didn't have a nice view until now, he had it now whenever he looked forward.

There was a great view from the bridge to the horizon, and since Shanny gave her okay for the time being, it meant Sugary could just go for it and head over to Baltimare from their position as the airship began to pick up speed as the various propellers on the side of the airship accelerated. One thing she'd notice though, was the seeming lack of wind despite the fact they were accelerating quite fast, but that was due to the airship's own energy field that reduced wind resistance even for a bulky looking thing like it, effectively moving quite smoothly. As for Sugary himself, he did also have a nice view of Shanny's rear; She did have rather shapely hips for a dragon. "Black Mambo, heading out!"

Shanny smiled and closed her eyes as he heard all the engines powering up and Sugary's yell before feeling the airship start moving a lot faster. She trusted the stallion that he knew where Baltimare was, he was an airship captain after all. For now, she decided to enjoy the breeze on her face and body as the airship moved closer to their destination with each passing minute.The dragoness would be there completely still, maybe lightly lift her tail for balance as she continued leaning on the fence.

The more Shanny bent over, the more likely Sugary was to look down her way. His focus was always on where he was going, but he started to think she was raising her tail quite a bit. "... Almost looks like she's waiting on a mate... No. No no no, now's not the time." He blushed ever so mildly as he went back to full focus on the trip as he pushed back thoughts of certain smut magazines that helped make her all the more alluring with how she stood.

For the most part, the trip would be uneventful, but a safe one and relatively fast one as it wouldn't take too long for them to reach the small port city of Baltimare as the sun was setting behind the mountain ranges far behind them. "Hey, there it is! Shanny, you want me to fly around to get a good view from overhead before we land?"

Shanny would swiftly notice the well-lit city in front of them as soon as Sugary called it out. She stood back up and turned towards the bridge "That is a very tempting offer, sir, but I would say that we better land before the night falls! Unless you insist on it." She answered and walked to one of the side rails to observe the ground from the side and not the front.

"Don't worry, we can make the round trip before it gets really dark, I promise. Besides, I still need to land somewhere, may as well be the dock itself once I find it." It was a good thing the Black Mambo was nimble enough to fly close to the city to allow a good view without risking hitting anything as they passed by several tall buildings, many homes, restaurants, shops, workshops, parks, and to Shanny's own interest, two large homes that seemed to be mansions as well. It might also be worth noting that at least one building had a high ceiling for a penthouse that she might fit in.

Shortly after the trip, Sugary would find the docks and make his landing as intended, with a fair amount of care as the ship began to float in water. Once cleared, he picked a port to settle in for the time being. He then came out to star tying the ship along with the local crew as he spoke to Shanny. "Mm... That's a nice seabreeze, ain't it? How was the trip by the way?"

Shanny watched in awe at how low Sugary could bring his large airship and fly it comfortably without fear of crashing into any towers or buildings. She also have seemed to locked her eyes on the two mansions as they flew past, before looking at where they were heading again. She had to admit, the stallion was very good with the airship controls. When they reached the docks, the dragoness curiously watched as they landed in water, not exactly expecting something that was made for air to also float. "It was very nice, thank you." She answered Market's question. "And thank you for the massage and the trip, too." she added.

Sugary smiled at Shanny and kept working. "Wonderful to hear! So, do you plan to set out looking for work right away or what? For that matter, you got any place you plan to stay in for the time being?" He'd keep working until the ropes were tied properly, keeping the ship stable in the waters as the soft bells, birds, and waves were heard about.

Shanny looked around as she was asked the question, mainly focusing on the darkening sky. "Well, wanting to appy for the job this late would be... not very good result-wise. I am tempted to first get familiar with the city and then apply early in the morning... First impressions and all that." She answered. "And no, I really do not." She answers the second question and slightly frowns. "First time I'm visiting this city. Don't even know where any hotel or anything is." She adds and lightly giggles before sighing and looking at all the lights on the nearby streets.

Sugary looked to the main city and then at Shanny, a little smirk on the edge of his lips. "Okay, then I'll come with you and check things out. I still need to get more supplies anyway, so I have to move about as is... And if you can't find a place to stay, we can talk about that later about staying as a guest with me instead if you'd like." He looked serious about the offer, as well as looking ready to just go and walk.

"Well.. sure." She answered and smiled at him before stepping off the airship onto the dock. "I wonder if any hotel is big enough for me. They're usually.. well, pony sized." She said, looking around again. The beauty of the lights never ceased to make her smile. "Then again, I might be wrong, but your ship doesn't have big rooms either... right? Unless I can sleep outside, the nights are pretty warm after all."

Sugary walked down the ramp along with Shanny, considering her size more carefully. "Mmm... You are rather hefty, but there might be a place. If you can't find none, well... You can stay on the deck or the storage room. I do have bedrooms of course, but... Might be hard to fit you in properly into them even if I moved the beds to accommodate you." He then looked to where she was looking as he stood by her side. "... So! You gonna take the lead or what? The city is right in front of you and opportunity awaits."

"Either will be fine." She said and smiled at Sugary again before beginning to make her way towards the town, hoping to not cause too many problems with the dragon walking through the streets. "Then again, I am deciding whether I should sleep alone in a tiny room or on an airship whose captain I already slightly know." She said, slowly approaching a well-lit street, seemingly full of stores.

As the duo walked, and the sun set a bit more, Baltimare would start to show a bit more of its livelier night side. It was a small city, so it was tame, but even at that time of day citizens moved to and fro. One advantage to Shanny's size at least, was that few wanted to bump into her and made way for her and Sugary who kept close. "Like I said, the option is there... And speaking of options, you might wanna have a good look around the stores if anything here suits your fancy while staying over." Various stores were lined up one next to the other, but it did become apparent few would cater to one so large as her. There was one obvious upside though: For a port city, it did have economy in fishing. If nothing else, there was food for Shanny to buy for herself that wasn't vegetarian. What else would she find on her own?

"Oh I'm sure I'll be fine." She said as they continued walking. She would take a quick look at every store they passed though a few would interest her. "Well, I'm not exactly hungry, I had venison today already." She randomly mentioned before stopping at what seemed to be one of the hotels. Even from far away it was already known that the main doors were already too small for Shanny to fit through, even though the hotel itself looked fancy and rich. "Well, one down, a few more to go I suppose." She said as she began walking again.
