Defenders of Equestria: Class B

Dark grumbled a little but didn't stop Blade from doing it. "Fine. Ya can unfreeze mah wing. Can ya at least tell meh why ya ran? Please?" He asked, extending his wing from Blade to unfreeze and raising an eyebrow at him. "Ya can tell me. Ah wont judge ya...Ah'll tell ya what. Ah'll tell ya something about mahself ya wouldn't know and ya tell meh why ya ran. Deal?" He really wanted to know, but he guessed he could tell him why he hated griffons so much....

Star looked at Aerv. "We might not be the first, but we can make it to the meeting on time. Come on, let's hurry." He said to them, sprinting off down the main hall of the building. He skidded to a stop when he reached the third door on the right and went inside.

In the Meeting Hall a large stage awaited them in one side of the mostly circular room, though it was slightly longer length ways than width ways to make it an oval shape. There were already some new students standing around waiting for the meeting to start. On the stage were two figures, one a unicorn stallion and the other a pegasus mare. They both were well dressed and glaced over at Star, Aerv, and Accentria as they walked in.

Blade sighed as he rested his hand onto the frozen wing, slowly melting the ice. "Deal." Blade really didn't care about what the stallion would tell him, but his actions had to be explained, even if it was only vague. "The group had a dragon and I'm not a fan of them." Blade said and obviously didn't look like he wanted to talk more about the creature. "I'm going to speed up the process if you don't mind." He said, waiting for the stallion's approval before he poured a little more energy into the construct and wrap around the wing and started to melt it from all sides.

He looked over at Archon and gave him a small smile before looking away. He knew coming with the griffon again would be awkward since he didn't talk all that much and the fact he had accidentally froze Dark's wing.

"Hey um... Lightning I don't do so well in crowds so I may get quiet in there." Angel for warned her newly found companion, before following the three other new students into the main hall. Her wings folding in nicely behind her back, twitching her finger the brackets around her body shifted sideways and spread off her body by 20 centimeters like she wanted. Patting her dress down as she walked in, immeadiately taking note of the two ponies standing on stage, looking over at the three in front of them.

Accentria, upon entering the meeting hall, immediately noticed both the unicorn and the pegasus. She hopped off the Geas, returning them to their places aside her. Her normally cheery demeanor once again taking a much more serious stance.

"So... We made it here on time. Good. Good."

lightning understood and nodded, then pressed her broach down which transformed her clothes int a silver trimmed blue to violet formal dress. she looked around and simply followed the lead of of angel. her chest and the right side of her back hurt badly but she had to ignore it until later, for now there was something more important to do, give off good first impressions and with a smile she felt like she could achieve just that.

Archon strode up to Blade and Dark, then bowed apologetically. "Sorry for that. I didn't expect you to block that shot, Dark." He gestured to the melting ice with an outstretched claw. "Dismiss Frost I." On command, the remaining ice scattered in a display of pinpricks of light.

He looked between the two of them. "Did I hear you correctly, Blade? Dragons? You dislike them?" He mused over this for a moment. "Well, none of us here are dragons. We can all trust each other, can't we?"

As Aerv entered the room, he was slightly surprised. But then again, the airship should've arrived on time, so why wouldn't they be on time? He looked around the room, looking firstly at the well-dressed unicorn and pegasus on the stage.

"Well, let's find a spot for ourselves then..." he said and thought "I knew I should've brought some nice clothes for the ceremony... ehh I hope the cloak will cover most of it."

Dark smiled a little as his wing was beginning to unfreeze a bit. "Dragons? Why are ya not a fan o' dragons?" He asked with a raised eyebrow. He found dragons interesting, but he guessed he can see where Blade was coming at. He wasn't a fan of griffins....And speak of the devil. He looked at Archon with a slight glare. He flapped the wing that had been frozen a few times now that it wasn't frozen. "Ya can say that we trust each other." He had a little bit of venom in his tone of voice, trying to hard not to punch the griffin out of anger. He had to remind himself that this was not the griffin that had fired that cannon on that day. He turned back to Blade. "I'll...Tell ya later ah guess... We should get goin' t' the meetin'." He made his way in the direction of the front door of the school.

"Ehh...You two lead the way. I'll follow behind you." Star said, looking at the two ponies on the stage with a curious look. He then saw their gaze settle on the ponies behind him, Aerv, and Accentria. He turned his head to look back at the two mares behind him, smiling at both of them before turning back to his two friends. He took of his helmet and combed his mane a little with his hand. He shoved his helmet into his backpack, looking around the room at the rest of the ponies in the room. This is going to be a good school...I have friends already and aside from that bully in the beginning, this is a great place. He though, his smile becoming a bit bigger.

Blade let his construct fade away as the ice melted from the griffon's command. He didnt say anything to Dark and only nodded to Archon about being able to trust on another. The stallion got up and shook the griffon's hand though he knew it wasnt meant for him to shake. He would soon let go and silently walk over to the school door without a word. The stallion would breath slowly as he followed Dark. He didnt need to think about that now.

Archon flinched slightly as Blade shook his hand, but otherwise did nothing. He allowed the hand to fall away from Blade's as he let go, returning it to its neutral position at his own side. He stood and watched his two acquaintances walk to the school door. He couldn't help but wonder if they were already late, which prompted him to set off towards the destination as well with a brisk stride. He would navigate the corridors once inside, though he would likely get lost unless he followed someone who knew the way.

Accentria looked around the meeting hall proper. "Huh... Everyone seems to have separated into little cliques... That's no good...This is suppose to be an introductory meeting! We are supposed to get to know one another---All of us~!....Oh! I know!" She mused, talking aloud to no one in particular.

Suddenly, she hopped onto the Geas and said, "Hi! I am Accentria! Nice to meet you all!" She gestured to the room from her elevated viewpoint.  "I hope we can all get along these next few years!" She continued, speaking loudly enough for everyone to hear her clearly.

Looking satisfied that she had everyone's attention, she hops back down and pulls both Aerv and Star into yet another nigh bone-crushing group hug. "And these two are Aerv and Star!" She gestures to each of them respectively.  "We're all new here, so, let's try to make this a great first year, eh?----Oh! And remember; friendship is magic!" She exclaims, still addressing the entirety of the hall.  Accentria's tone was absolutely radiating goodwill at this point.

Lightning had a surprised and somewhat deterred by the mare in fronts enthusiasm, and was also a bit confused at what was going on but she accepted it all as best possible, standing proud at 5.3 and spoke up. "Is this why we are in here, to meet each other or to be registered, perhaps both im not to sure but ill go along with your intentions, my names lightning lightning blast, im sure we can all get along and i hope to make more friends here than enemies so lets make this year the best so far." she said loudly with a smile growing on her face.

Angel came to a stop and started to behind Lightning, she had had her eyes somewhat closed so she didn't need to see straight, but Lightning speaking up caught her a bit off-guard, she hadn't been listening to the other ponies except the odd new friend she had made, so hearing her talk made her aware of what was around her, she didn't hesitate to move away from the taller mares into a familiar cycle standing behind the one she did talk too. What she had said was actually only partial to the truth. She was very bad in crowds, but not out of shyness, she didn't like the feeling of others towering over her.

Aerv exhaled as he was pulled into yet another surprising bone-crushing group hug and then blushed of embarrassment as his and Star's names were said to the public. Aerv didn't like being the centre of attention, and Accentria's actions felt foolish to him. All he did for now, besides partially begging to be released from the deathly grip, was weakly wave at the rest of the crowd, before whispering "I believe it's going to be handled by our professors, Accentria, no need to start making this party your own..."

Dark took no heed to Blade as he made his way to the main door of the school. Once there, he opened it and walked down the hall to where the meeting room was. He gently kicked the door to the meeting room and looked at the...odd scene in front of him...A mare was practically choking a thestral and dragon and all the eyes of the ponies were on the mare, dragon, and thestral. He stood there, mouth agape.

Star winced a little when he saw most if not all eyes on Accentria. He blushed deeply when his friend had pulled him into another group hug and said his name for all to hear...He looked onto the stage and saw the unicorn mare staring at them with a stern look. "Accentria...Maybe we sound...Stay quiet? Save all of this after the meeting?" He saw that the other pony was just looking at the room with a stoic expression.

Blade glanced over at Dark with his mouth wide open and smiled. He placed his finer under the stallion's chin and pushed it up to close his mouth. It was funny to the stallion react to whatever he had seen and soon Blade looked over at what was going on, then he froze himself. His body froze and trembled slightly. It was obvious what Blade was looking at and if anyone looked at him they could see the wild look in his eye.

His body tensed and was on the verge of attacking the beast. He suddenly grab onto the stallion's arm and began to pull on him towards some other direction. Blade could barely even do that and held the stallion's arm in a death grip and later on Archon's when he got close enough. "Come on guys let's get a better view." He said as he pulled on them to somewhere else and would drag them if they couldn't keep up.

No sooner had Archon peeked into the room behind Blade and Dark - catching a brief glimpse of the awkward scene that lay within - than his arm was locked in a steel grip and pulled off to somewhere else. The rest of him had no choice but to follow along. He almost dropped the bow that was being held in a loose grip inside his cloak, but he secured it just in time before being pulled elsewhere.

He glanced at Blade and the semi-manic look in his eyes. "Blade, please stop. You grip tightly."

"Quiet....Huh." Accentria let the two go, rubbing the back of her head. "Maybe I overdid it... A little." She mumbles under her breath.

 Accentria looked to the teachers for encouragement, upon noticing the look the unicorn was giving her, Accentria tilted her head in confusion. "I was only trying to help."

Dark raised an eyebrow at Blade when he closed his mouth. He opened his mouth to say something to him, but he saw the unicorn was barely holding himself together. Then he was caught by surprise when he was pulled away....He fell to the ground, his hat nearly flying off his head, but Dark quickly grabbed it in one hand as he was dragged elsewhere. "Dragon?" He said to the unicorn, calmly.

Star coughed a little. He grabbed one of Accentria's arms in one of his hands and Aerv's arm in the other hand and dragged them to a backer part of the room. Once they were in the back, he let the two of them go. "Looks like letting you two lead was not a good idea. And yes...Maybe a little..." He scratched his neck and looked around.

lightning stood proudly, she knew what it felt like to be a small mare in a really tall croud, and she knew how intimidating it can be when topped with taller stallions and mares who are armed rather heavily. so lightning wasn't standing 'tall' and to make herself feel better, no, she wasn't scared anymore, she had over come that, no she was doing it for her little companion, to help her with her own confidence. she looked back at angel with a smile hoping it would help.

Blade had slowed a little when he heard Archon tell him he was holding in too tightly and eased up on his grip on both of them. He seemed to regain a bit of his composure now, but still looked frantic. He slowed to a stop when Dark asked his question, in which Blade only nodded. Soon, he let go with trembling hand off of Archon and then turned around to help up Dark from the floor. "Sorry." He said as he focused his eyes on Dark and once up he soon turned around and took a few deep breaths to finally back his heart go back to its regular speed.

Angel closed her eyes for a moment and listed over twelve different weather patterns she knew of. How they formed and when they formed was always the top priority of the list. With this list though she managed to calm down enough to think straight. Glorious straight thinking, was glorious at the moment. Keeping her eyes shut Angel managed to spring herself up into the air, hovering in place for a few moments before opening her eyes, watching from above was a better option for the small Pegasi anyways. Looking down the turned her attention to the instructors waiting for it to begin.

"Oh." Archon stretched his neck out and looked down the passageway as Blade's grip loosened and then released completely. "Alright, then. But I suspect that's the assembly hall. How are we going to attend if we don't go in there?" He paused, lifting his head to the ceiling and pondering it over. "Maybe we could blindfold you. Would that help, Blade? Out of sight, out of mind, after all."

"Awh, that is not fair, Star. I got us where we needed to go, and on time too!---Did I not?" Accentria giggles, a feigning an expression of hurt. "Anyways! By introducing us the way I did, we have probably made quite a few lists---- I mean, did you see the look on that instructor's face? We have indeed made an impression, at the very least she will not be forgetting about us any time soon." Accentria says, giving the two alarmingly strong consoling pats on the back. "But... I am sorry if that was a little too brash for you two, I apologize for making you feel uncomfortable, but, I believe it will inevitably be for the best--- For all three of us." She gives them another warm smile, and once again rests ontop of the Geas.

Dark looked at Blade. "Best thing we have...And it's no big deal. Ah've been through worse." He took off his bandanna and walked over to Blade, folding it a few times and put them over his eyes. He then tied it and punched him...stopping right before it would actually hit to make sure he couldn't see. He then started to push the two back towards the meeting room as fast as he could. He opened the door and shoved the two in before entering himself.

Star rolled his eyes at the two of them....More or less aiming the eye roll and Accentria. "Well...True...Now hush up. I think the meeting's about to start." He said to them, giving them a smile and turning his head towards the stage.

The earth pony walked walked up to the mic and cleared his throat to get all the students to quiet down. "You have all come here to apply your talents and seek knowledge, and when you graduate, you will devote the rest of your time to protecting this world. But when I look upon you now, I see you all lack experience, and you all should take the initiative to seek knowledge here at Beacon." The pony moved off to the side to let the unicorn speak a word or two.

“You will all gather in the ballroom tonight. Tomorrow your initiation begins. Be prepared and be ready. You are all dismissed.” The unicorn said before following the earth pony off the stage and out of the room.

Night fell and all the students gathered in the ball room as was instructed. Sleeping bags were all over to ground and many ponies were already sleeping in them. Chandeliers hung from the ceiling, lighting up the ballroom. There were windows all around the room.

Star stood off near a window, looking up at the stars. His armor and sunglasses were on a sleeping bag that was near him. Now with his glasses off, everypony could see he had teal eyes unlike most thestrals. He didn't really care...It just meant he was special. He smiled to himself as he did some stargazing.

Off towards a corner of the room, Dark Wing was leaning against a wall. His bag was on his sleeping bag and his hat was over his face. His arms were crossed over his chest and if one didn't look closely, they would have though he was a sleep. He was in fact not asleep however.
