"One to modify my vocal cords... One holding my wound shut..."

"How about you?" Ician turned to his other lover. "Any heat coming up?"

"Your..." Silver blinked, then frowned. "Which wounds?"

"Nah, not that you need to worry about."

"You know, the ones where those assassins attacked me."

"That's good." Ician said. "It might get a little crazy if you both had synchronised heat cycles."

"And you didn't get those stitched up." Silver whispered.

"Hmmm? I suppose I didn't, no."

"I really can't deal with you both. Not at the same time." Ician sighed. "Phew."

"... Right. We're getting those stitched up now." Silver stood up. "Come on, let's go."

"You don't need to worry, I have it covered."

"I mean, the both of you can be really... spirited." Ician replied. "It can get tiring at times. Especially certain times."

"No, no you don't." Silver harrumphed. "At least try to stitch yourself up rather than holding the wound shut."

"But I have it covered..."

"Look, you're going to tire yourself out if you keep on going like this." Silver stomped her hoof. "No. Go and get yourself fixed up."

Divine and Ruby grinned, snuggling him from either side.

"Or what Silver?"

"Well," Ician smiled, "at least it's so peaceful when you two aren't busy being spirited."

"Or you're going to fall apart!" Silver shook her head. "Look, you've already got a headache. The Gala isn't close to finished yet!"

"I will not fall apart. Now calm down."

Ician continued listening to the music, humming quietly.

"How long would it take you to just stitch yourself up?" Silver asked.

"Dunno... For once I don't have my medical kit with me." She shrugged.

"Oh, for..." Silver facehooved. "There's probably one around here somewhere. At least one of the guards in the Gala are always qualified field medics."

"Just go and ask one of the guards for a medical kit. They should have one lying around somewhere." Silver said.

As Platinum walked off, a telepathic message rang through his head.
