Beneath the Surface

Divine grinned savagely. "Tell you what. We'll put you in an environment where your primary senses are disabled, then change that environment in an instant, and we'll see how long you last."

Griff grins "And if I refuse?" he asks and winks at Sky.

Divine shrugged. "T'was merely a hypothetical situation. However, were it to occur, you would not have a choice."

Quimia looks between them uncertainly. "Perhaps it would be best to put aside our respective grievances for a moment and settle this dispute in a friendlier manner?"

"Ohohoho no. I have taken enough crap in my life. I'm not letting her talk her way out of the responsability for almost killing me."

Quimia cringes. "That is a bit... harsh, surely? She certainly did not intend to bring you any harm. It was simply a lack of foresight which brought about this regrettable incident."

Divine shook head. "It's not harsh enough... but, it is not worth fighting over." Divine bowed to Sky, before flipping Griff off, and turning to walk away.

Ician eyes Divine uncertainly and approaches. "Do you, um, feel better now?"

"No, I feel like I'm about to sick, kill Griff, or die. Maybe all three at once."

(Ugh, gotta sleep. Have fun)

Griff just chuckles in response. "Sucks to be you..." he says, before turning to Sky and Quimia and following them.

Sky yells after Divine "If you have a complaint, please put it in the complaint box!" Before continuing her walk to the bow.

Quimia watches Divine leave as she follows the other two. "If I may venture, perhaps you ought to have been slightly more contrite. She does have a valid point, after all. Even if it was just a misunderstanding."

"Um..." Ician embraces her, somewhat awkwardly. "Well, I'm here for you. You don't have to kill Griff to make yourself feel better. I'll take care of that."

"If I may suggest.." Sky tries to badly copy Quimia's way of speaking. ".. could you possibly talk .. normally? As if we are friends? All this royal talk is getting slightly on my nerves, no offense."

"I apologise for my..." She catches herself. "I mean, um, sorry. It is just that I am naturally accusto- used to speaking in this mann- way!" She shakes her head. "I suspect that this is an ingrained habit. One that would be highly problematic to..." She squeezes her eyes shut. "That is to say, old habits die hard. It might requi- take a little while for me to start speaking... normally."

"I.. see.." Sky slowly says, soon reaching the bow. "Here we are." She closes her eyes, letting the tiny drops of seawater hit her face.

"So..." Quimia looks around, gently wiping away the few drops of water that splash on her face. "If I may inqui-" She sighs. "I mean, why did you bring us here?"

"I brought myself here to relax. Ship's controls are locked and set to autopilot, so there's nothing to worry about. You, however, decided to follow me, and only you know the reason why." Sky says, continuing standing still.

"Right." Quimia watches the waves below, then stares out towards the horizon. "It is a nice view."

"Most captains hate flying in that." Sky says. "But yes, whatever is currently visible is nice.."

((Reminding everyone it's night and dark outside apart from moon's light.))

"Indeed." Quimia stares up at the sky. "The stars are arranged in a beautiful array."

((Salvaged. Now let's just pretend I remembered that the whole time.))

"A beautiful array that lead us home in the old times." Sky says before turning around, slowly making her way back to the bridge.

Quimia remains at the bow. "I have never considered its practical applications, unfortunately. I am not a sailor." She glances down at the deck. "Or is there a different term for the captain of an airship? I forget."

"Could be." Sky says. "I just call them capains, I use the word sailors when referring to those who work on the ship, not commanding it."

"Ah." Quimia looks up at the sky for a little while longer, then turns back and follows Sky. "I would rather not stand there for too long. I can feel the water soaking through my cloak."

"I wouldn't either. We're approaching Equestrian land, so we have to pull up a bit.." Sky says before she enters the bridge.

"Considering we are hovering less then ten metres above sea level, I can see how that might be considered prudent." Quimia stops outside the bridge. "Should I leave you to your work? I would hate to disturb you if you need to concentrate."
