Lost at Sea (SFW, Island Survival, Sign-up only)

Shard watched Dust do her work, and when it was done, she performed a bit of her own magic. There wasn't much to see, she was sure of that, but there was no denying something was going on when the semi-clear glass Dust had made suddenly started changing shape as smoothly as if it were putty. It unattached itself from the board it had been made on and seemed to work its way up and into one of her saddlebags where it joined the rest of the accumulated glass. It'd been hard, hard enough that Shard had to slightly grit her teeth with the effort, but she'd managed to not let anything show.

"Er... can I ask the purpose of that?" Dust asked, cocking a brow.

"I can only manipulate crystals and crystal like objects, so I like to keep a... ample supply at any point," Shard replied as she started to press into the wreckage a little more, the shards of glass that were in her way moved out of it, joined together with each other, and then found their way into her bags as well. "We can check out the airship wreck a bit more. I can make sure we don't have to worry about any broken glass," she added with a couple extra steps.

Shadow's ears perked up. She had a stash of glass somewhere... The pink filly rifled through her saddlebag for the shards she'd picked up in the wreckage. Sure enough, the glittery fragments were there. "Shard, would these help?" She offered.

Shard whipped her head about at the new voice that suddenly appeared, and she had to fight herself to keep from doing something that she'd regret. She took a deep breath to keep soothe herself before replying. "Yes," she replied simply as the glass Shadow brandished also found it's way into her pouch. "You can join us in this further scouring of the wreck if you'd like," Shard added before continuing to slowly and gently shift through the wreckage.

"Okay." She began digging through the wreckage beside Shard.

"Do you have a goal of glass you need, or..."

"Not really, no," Shard replied as she actually bothered to crack open one of her saddlebags and check on the supply she had. "I've probably got enough for now, but there might be some other things to still salvage from the wreck if we are to look. I doubt that there's no further use for anything on this broken mess."

Sickle came back from her short walk and saw the rest of the survivors.
"Hey, guys what I miss?" She asked as she approaches them.

Tytanna speaks upp, "We've got just enough water for us to survive the day, but we need a few more desalinators to make sure we've got enough to last us. Also me and Dusty found some small fish we can use for bait."

About that time, a quite exhausted Dusty dragged a folded up rug to them. "Ah do believe.... That Ah... Done got all the.... Glass from the... Ship.." He opens the rug and points at all the glass, "Ah sure hope that this'll work for ya *cough cough*"

Sickle looks at dusty with concern. "Don't push your self too much there hun. If you need a break their still those bottle waters and apple for ya."

There really wasn't much left in the ship in terms of supplies. There was still plenty of wood to salvage, as well as many blankets and beds. And of course, there was plenty of broken glass, though Dusty did manage to get most of it. The only place with a lot of glass now was the bridge, which still had the bodies of the Captain and a few crew members in there.

Tytanna nuzzled Roads cheek, "Thanks sweety, this aught to be more than enough glass there to make enough desalinators for a sustainable water supply." She was looking through the glass on the rug, making sure they had enough big pieces of glass for the job. With the safe knowledge of sustainable water, they can make their food supplies last long enough until something sustainable and renewable could be devised. So far the biggest hurdle of survival was handled. Next priority was sustainable food and, likewise, better, more reliable shelters.

Shard was slightly deterred when she found most of the glass already removed from the wreck, but was still willing to admit she had enough for her own desires for the moment, so instead she turn her attention to the still intact parts of the wreck. "If there was one who could ensure the integrity of the remains of the vessel, and take measures to secure it, it would serve well as a shelter. And we should probably get the bodies out of there. They'll start to rot soon, and deserve an actual burial," Shard said as she pressed on towards the bridge.

"I can start getting them outside if one of you want to start digging the holes. Who knows, maybe you'll even find some buried treasure out there," she said somewhat sarcastically while continuing to walk further into the ship.

"Ill go find some solid ground to serve as a graveyard, I can handle digging fairly quickly and can make some rudimentary crucifixes for the graves." Tytanna gave a salute and began going south, sticking closer to the inland forests to find some solid, non-sandy ground where a proper burial can be done.

Dusty's face turns beet red, "Hehe, weren't no trouble Darlin', not at all." He was glad that he was doing his part, and he'd have to admit, it apparently has its perks.

Hearing about the service, he wanted to help as well. "Uh, would it be alright if Ah come along with ya? A..Ah mean, Ah... don't really know what else ta do here.." Not really, but he hoped it would work.

"Well, Roadie? If you wanna come, don't dawdle." She gave him a wink before trotting off, swishing her finny tail playfully.

With a smile, Dusty trotted up beside Tytanna, "Hehe, Roadie? Ah kinda like being called that, by you anyway.

"Thanks! Mainly don't wanna confuse Dust back there, but I figure, it doenst hurt to share nicknames."

"That's true, can't be having that. So, other than Tytanna, what should Ah call ya?

"Ty, Anna, those usually work. Call me Tit and I'll smother you with 'em." Tytanna continued scouring the ground for somehting suitable for a burial.

"The hay's a crucifix?" Dust mumbles.

"Ok then, Anna. Ah like it. So what should we be looking for?" Dusty begins looking around himself, quite comically.

Tytanna nods Roads tothe forest. "We need firm, dry ground, so we can bury any corpses easily without having to worry about decay or disease, or the bodies being washed out to sea."
