Important!: In this thread specifically, you are to post MARETROPOLIS OC's here to be looked at for approval.
In an effort to try and improve the quality of our group as well as to help compensate for the very varied levels of experience present in the group we are adopting a new way of writing characters in the form of the sheet below. Please do not make a new thread for your character, post it here.
Name: A last or middle name is not needed, but what you call your character is needed at least. link to a pony name generator if you have trouble coming up with names.
Race: Remember to say a few words in a note if your character is a race that you yourself have invented or is not native to canon Equestria.
Age: The age of the character. Simple as. If you can't think of an exact number for whatever reason, try and go with a roundabout number that seems fitting.
Alignment: Good, bad, neutral?
Mane: Colour(s) are needed, but style is a plus.
Coat: Colour(s) are needed, but length is a plus
Cutie mark.: Details are appreciated but a basic description will do.
Distinguishing Features: Example, what is the first thing that stands out about your character? If you saw him on the street what would you remember about him?
Specialty (eg. special spells, unique powers etc): Here is a good place to mention what your character is especially good at, or any sort of odd skills they might have. If this skill comes from an artifact or piece of equipment please include that in gear instead.
Weaknesses: Here’s where you’d put what you character is especially bad at. Any sort of flaws in their abilities or capabilities or such would go here. It’d be a good idea to balance out any specialties with weaknesses, this helps to keep a balanced character for you. As a general rule if you have a hard time thinking of any weaknesses for your character there is a problem.
Occupation: What is your characters job? Do they have one? If they don’t what sort of job would they want? Note that this job does not necessarily need to be tied to your character's backstory or their speciality; more mundane jobs are just as welcome.
Gear: You do not need to mention that your character owns a saddleback or small things like that, but things that are special, or weapons for that matter, would go here.
History: This is the spot for the backstory, it does not need to be a novel, but writing a few lines would be a good idea.
Personality: Here is the spot to describe what it is that makes your character tick, is your character extra nice to people? Compassionate like no other? Maybe sadistic and likes to eat small ducklings? Here is the spot for tell all about that.
Current Home: Where is your character currently living? Do they live alone and if not who do they live with (this can be other users OCs if you both agree to that).
Misc: This is for anything that doesn’t fit in the other sections. Any extra little things and all that. This can help add some more depth to your characters.
Power Level Strength: Intelligence: Energy Projection: Fighting Ability: Durability: Speed:

Name: Rogue Key Alias: Shadow Bolt
Race: Pegasus
Age: 22
Alignment: Neutral
Mane: dark gray, but entirely shaved off. And his tail is cut short.
Coat: Dark Crimson
Cutie mark.: A key and a lockpick
Extra details that aren’t needed but are nice to add: Purple eyes, often wears sunglasses.
Distinguishing Features: Always wears a white hoodie and jeans to cover his cutie mark when he's out on the streets.
Specialty (eg. special spells, unique powers etc): Rogue Key is a telepath, but not an overly powerful one. He can read minds if he has physical contact with a pony, and he always has a passive "Sensor" on, meaning very few ponies can actually sneak up on him, and it gives him quick reflexes. He's proficient with many weapons and is a master of stealth. He also has telekinesis, but only to the extent of an average Unicorn.
Weaknesses: He's emotionally unstable, meaning his mood can drastically swing from one thing to another, and is reliant on a drug to keep his emotions in check. Otherwise he average in terms of strength and endurance. Also, his eyes glow purple when he uses his telepathy and telekinesis, making him stick out without his sunglasses.
Occupation: Professional Thief
Gear: A black suit for heists, a knife, lockpicks, and typically a .44 pistol and an SMG.
History: He grew up in an orphanage that wasn't exactly caring of the foals in it. His emotional problems didn't help him be accepted, and many of the adults weren't interested in helping his condition. Only when somepony sneaked in some medicine for him did he begin to do well, and beneath his emotional problems was a serious, intelligent pony. His powers became apparent when he turned 12, causing a sensory overload at the time. He started stealing at 16 years old. Since he saw the value of knowledge and education, he made sure to finish school. He's a very successful thief, and he rarely uses his actual name anymore. He came up with his alias by himself, and he wanted something so different from his actual name that nopony would make the connection. "Shadow" represents his stealth expertise, and "Bolt" represents his fighting ability. It also allows him to safely interact with high profile criminals so long as he keeps the rest of his identifying features hidden, and it's rather easy since he covers his cutie mark all the time.
Personality: Serious and intelligent, he understands jokes but he doesn't often laugh. The medicine keeps his emotions toned down so the swings aren't as drastic, but it also makes him rather monotone. Prefers action over talking. Kids are among the few things that actually make him smile, other than valuables. He prefers stealing from the rich.
Current Home: A small apartment in downtown Maretropolis.
Misc: He's neither a hero nor a villain, he goes back and forth between each side depending on which side will benefit him more.
Power Level
Strength: 2
Intelligence: 4 (1 when off his medicine)
Energy Projection: 4
Fighting Ability: 5
Durability: 2
Speed: 2

Extra details that aren’t needed but are nice to add:
Distinguishing Features: Her entire left side is blackened by the burns she suffered, extending from her thigh to her collarbone.
Specialty (eg. special spells, unique powers etc): Interrogation, torturing and killing of innocent victims. She is also able to meld in with the shadows, turning invisible for a short time.
Weaknesses: Her burned side is vulnerable to attacks, even if she doesn't feel pain in there. She is also pyrophobic.
Occupation: None, unless you count her cultist activities in her childhood as an occupation.
Gear: Her right hoof is armed with a sickle that uses a spring-loading system to use it to cut through stuff when she punches hard enough. The sickle blade is also edged with a laser, allowing her to cut through most materials with a single swipe. Her burned side is also covered in curvy and edged armor that is affixed to her flesh - it is literally a part of her.
History: Lunar Scorn was abducted by a group of cultists as a foal. She was raised by them to be a scion of the prophecy that claims the moon itself would descend upon the city of Maretropolis and only the chosen would survive. The cultist group was called the Moonlight Shadows, a small congregation of misguided followers of Nightmare Moon. Upon her 19th birthday, the group's hideout and home was torched accidentally when the authorities discovered their lair, the aftermath leaving no survivors of the cultists save for Lunar. Lunar's left side ended up burning to a crisp, half of her becoming a walking 3rd degree burn. She was hospitalized but her hate for the desecrators of her home made her run the first night. She crafted herself armor to shield herself from the stares of others. While she never believed in the prophecy her foalnappers spewed daily, they were her only family. And Maretropolis would pay for their deaths. The police and the Power Ponies look to stop crime? They're gonna have to get past her.
Personality: Lunar Scorn trusts nopony. She always works alone and plans her own heists. If she finds other criminals in her journeys, she will make things difficult for them just for laughs. She also has a strict policy that she never targets families. Not only that, she will rescue families if they are being held prisoner, while making sure they don't know who she is. When she's forced to speak to others, she will only show her right side, refusing to show her armor. At those times she either goes by no name or by the name of "Mare in the Night" and acts as if she was a Moonlight Shadow.
Current Home: Maretropolis, in the ruins of Moonlight Shadows' hideout, hidden in the park.
Misc: This character has been previously approved by Dualthrone, but the sheet has gone such a drastic change I request that Dual checks this particular sheet and comes to a conclusion whether this version is acceptable or not.
Theme Song:
Power Level Strength: 2 Intelligence: 5 Energy Projection: 1 Fighting Ability: 4 Durability: 3 (5 when hit on her armor, 1 when hit under her armor - injuries inflicted there will never heal naturally) Speed: 2

Name: Phantom Tears (Previously Approved)
Race: Shade Thestral, Shades are creatures that sell a portion of their soul to a demon of the shadows in exchange for magical powers and eternal life. They lose most if not all of their memory of being mortal and are usually assassins and or thieves. They are generally disliked by society and tend to work alone. Most shades sell part of their souls while they are still alive, but a few make a deal while on the brink of death, leading some ponies to believe that shades are undead and similar to ghosts.
Age: Unknown, appears early to mid twenties
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Mane: deep grey, undulating, mid-length
Coat: deep grey, holds to the general shape of a stallion but shifts
Cutie mark.: Solar eclipse with a small fraction of the sun showing
Extra details that aren't needed but are nice to add: Immortal as far as any pony can tell, but not invincible
Distinguishing Features: Pointed teeth, red cat like eyes
Specialty (eg. special spells, unique powers etc): Control of shadows and darkness, master assassin and thief. Can make weapons from shadow and hurl balls of dark energy. Can merge with shadows to make himself larger and more powerful. Can become 2D and slip between cracks and under doors. Immune to poisons. Can only be hit by magic or magic enhanced items, everything else phases through him.
Weaknesses: Extremely susceptible to light, natural and artificial; he will first become extremely weak and lose the ability to use his powers, after continued exposure (10-15 seconds) he will begin to dissolve into nothing, as a shadow cannot exist in direct light. He can only recover from this by absorbing energy from other shadows, the recovery time depends on the strength of the light and the time exposed. If he is not being affected by light when hit by magic, he will suffer the effects of the spell like a normal, but will be able to recover faster, about 1/4 the time for a normal pony to recover. If he is affected by light when hit by magic, he will suffer the effects of the spell tenfold and be unable to recover. If he loses focus while combined with foreign shadows he will begin to dissolve into the shadow and could die. Appearance makes it impossible for him to blend in with normal ponies. Can only operate at night or with heavy cloud cover.
Occupation: Ex-assassin and thief, now a member of the power ponies, mostly to preserve himself
Gear: Heavy black cloak with a face mask, allows him to go out in the light but his powers are useless in it
History: He cannot remember any of his mortal life nor can he remember how long he has been a shade. After a near death experience while fighting a pony with light powers, he decided to become one of the good guys in the hopes that it would help him preserve his own life. He has very little compassion and mostly looks out for himself, choosing to take on solo missions rather than join the other Power Ponies on missions that require a team. He will assist however if there is a worthy reward, such as a priceless artifact or the glory of killing a famous or infamous figure.
Personality: Self-confident, puts his own needs and desires above others, faithful as long as it suits his needs
Current Home: Power Ponies base
Misc: Does not need to eat, drink, or sleep, but occasionally will to kill time or just for the sake of tasting something. Cannot get intoxicated, much to his chagrin sometimes. Mostly relies on stealth and sneak attacks, but could hold his own in a fight against an average pony.

[My Maretropolis OCs will almost always be written and used in Anthro terms and forms]
Name: Fulminata "Nata"
Race: Pegasus
Age: 26
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Mane: Electric blue, styled into one big lightning bolt. Tail is the same, but inverted, the widest part of the bolt near the ground, as if it was striking her butt.
Coat: Dark, stormy grey
Cutie mark.: An electric blue ball of lightning
Distinguishing Features: The way her powers are so connected to her emotions. Her glowing, electric blue eyes.
Specialty (eg. special spells, unique powers etc): Electricity. Her body generates massive amounts of energy over time, and is only dispersed through using it. She can fire bolts of lightning, throw orbs of energy that explode and cover an area with a blast of electricity. She can even incorporate it into her hooves when she punches or kicks someone. Though the 'grenades' use up a lot of energy, and she can sometimes recharge through absorbing energy from other sources, also able to absorb kinetic energy and convert it into electrical energy, though she still feels the hits.
Weaknesses: Getting wet, then her own electricity will shock her, and even could kill her. Has a difficult time absorbing energy through sources that are non-electrical, or non-kinetic.
Occupation: Fulminata has no job
Gear: Has nothing besides her skintight, black, spandex bodysuit, and welding goggles.
History: Fulminata remembers nothing but glimpses of her past before she woke up in an alleyway, her foot in a puddle, the puddle's surface sparking with electricity. She began to freak out at first, with these new, crazy abilities. But her mind began to work, and she began experimenting to see what she could do, learning every day. She sees a few glimpses of being in an operating room, but remembers nothing else of how she obtained her new abilities. In truth, Nata had volunteered for an experiment to increase the abilities of a pegasi's weather manipulation, but instead her ability to manipulate clouds weakened, while she gained powers over electricity, but when the experiment was classified as a 'failure', the scientists seeing no improvement, her memory was wiped and she was dumped into an alley far from the lab. She made her outfit herself, and guessed she might've been some kind of tailor before she got her powers, with how easy it was to make the outfit. She now just does what she can to help people, feeling the urge to put her abilities to good use, though she cannot seem to grasp the subject of 'not hurting' the bad guys, almost stopping the hearts of a few of the baddies she has encountered.
Personality: Kind, forgiving, friendly, but becomes the complete opposite against someone she does not like. She is also quite clever with her powers, and still experiments on a daily basis.
Current Home: Fulminata lives in an old, abandoned house, and rarely is seen there regardless.
Misc: Loves the surprise on one's face when she gets into a fight, and she starts sparking.
Power Level Strength: 1 Intelligence: 4 Energy Projection: 5 Fighting Ability:2 Durability: 2 Speed: 2

Subject: Situation Normal Repost Mon Jul 21, 2014 1:03 am
Repost because new thread.
Situation Normal Doctor Fearday
Race: Earth Pony
Age: 32
Alignment: Lawful Evil
Mane: Short, a little bit curly, and has a dark golden hue . Coat: A light brown, brassy color.
Cutie mark.: A large brass cog interlocked with a smaller iron cog, the latter sitting at about 30 degrees above the horizontal and situated on the tail side.
Extra details that aren’t needed but are nice to add: He always wears a flame-retardant lab coat as part of his costume, along with a full facemask, white with yellow lightning decals around the eyes, also fireproofed. Due to safety concerns regarding his abilities, Normal does not wear any other tight-fitting attire while doing his supervillain thing, though he might feel the need for a different outfit if the situation demands it.
Distinguishing Features:
Specialty (eg. special spells, unique powers etc): Normal is a literal genius, and he brings his intellect to the fore in the creation of wondrous inventions of all sorts, though much of his creations in more recent years have been of a very weaponized nature. The augmentations he has added to his body, however, are what really make him a unique specimen.
⁃ Bio-Mechanical Body--Internals • Much of Normal’s body has been replaced or supplemented by mechanical parts, most of which invented solely by himself, while some minor pieces received important additions or advising from other scientists. All of these implants are one-of-a-kind, and anyone who just copied them from the blueprints would find them utterly useless or, in fact, fatal to implement, as every piece was designed from the ground up to work with Normal’s body, down to the chemistry, length of bones and muscles, and the position of blood vessels. Every piece was painstakingly crafted to absolute perfection before being put in him, to the degree that damage to the implants will not cause too much trouble for his health, usually. • His skull has a layer of elastic material underneath metal melded to the bone. This prevents large, sharp skull fragments from forming, similar to safety glass, and also gives it a bit more strength, to protect his brain. Flexible, tiny sheets of metal are also adhered to his spine to give it additional protection and strength. His ribs are connected by similarly flexible sheets of metal, helping to deflect glancing blows from reaching vital organs. • Right arm was amputated and is now completely mechanical, down from the shoulder. It is painted to resemble his skin tone and is covered in fake fur matching his coat color, concealing this fact, except when the fur is pulled back (such as when he uses his lightning attacks). • Left arm has some muscles and tendons replaced, but is mostly still organic and bears the scars of the surgeries involved. His hand (and perhaps just a bit into his ankle), however, has a smaller, significantly weaker version of his right arm’s lightning cannon in it, as well as a short ballistic knife that can be extended and fired at will. It is, essentially, his back-up weapon. • Both legs are largely mechanical, with numerous tendons and muscles replaced with mechanical analogues, and bones reinforced with metal. The skin of the legs, however, is wholly organic, and is covered with scars beneath the fur from the numerous surgeries that were required for the implanting.
⁃ Bio-Mechanical Body--Externals • Wires implanted into and criss-crossing his entire epidermis turn Normal into an electrical conductor, but at the same time, direct said electricity away from vital organs and, thanks to a few magical little devices known only as “diodes”, important electrical systems (which are also protected by surge protectors on their actual power supplies) are also kept safe from the danger of someone shooting a bunch of lightning at him and hoping to overload him. As such, he is effectively always grounded, as long as he is in physical contact with something that could be considered a “ground”. These also allow him to induce a static charge upon direct contact with a pony or solid object, though it’s not likely to do much more than give you a zap if you touch something metal (or it might turn you into a target for lightning bolts). • Prominent in his right arm, and with a smaller version in his left, Normal is equipped with a “lightning cannon”, essentially a very powerful Tesla coil that he is actually capable of aiming and utilizing offensively. The cannon takes up a significant portion of his arm, going up to just below the elbow, and requires a few seconds to charge between shots. It is aimed via a small laser embedded just below it, which heats the air in straight line between himself and his intended target, though the effective range only reaches out to 20 to 30 feet. The secondary is much smaller and has a maximum range of about 10 feet, and delivers a much weaker shot.
⁃ Villain With Good Publicity • Despite his nefarious ways, Situation Normal is not actively considered a threat by officials outside the Power Ponies. This is very reasonable from a purely statistical point of view: he has one of the lowest, if not the lowest, casualty and injury rates among all of Maretropolis’s supervillains, and his participation in any given villain group has been shown to actually lower the amount of collateral damage caused (even if it does improve the chances of them achieving their stated goals). Moreover, keeping him around prevents someone much more violent and destructive from taking his place, as he does tend to clash with and push down such villains, especially ones who don’t have the reputation or power to challenge him. • Thanks to the above, Normal typically quietly escapes from prosecution (probably also aided by the fact that everyone involved knows he’d just break out of anything anyway, and the last time he went to court his defense essentially consisted of pointing out that threatening to make ponies bald is not illegal, whilst superponies trespassing in his house and attacking him certainly is, and nopony wants to repeat that debacle), even when someone does manage to drag him in. Unlike many villains, he’s not really feared by anyone in authority unless he specifically warns them beforehand, as he always does. After all, he’s never really been out to destroy the government or any big business in particular--he makes his threats specifically to get supers to come after him. • Since this is not something innate, he can lose access to it through roleplaying, and anyone threatened by him or by a group he’s in is unlikely to be of any help, and is utterly unaffected by this “power”, and neither is anyone closely entwined with the Power Ponies organization.
Weaknesses: ⁃ Honor Before Reason • Despite being a villain and a scoundrel, Normal is the kind of pony that keeps his promises, and holds himself as an honorable gentlepony before all else. He will not go after civilians to cow a hero, nor will he take hostages (of course, anyone trying to be a hero isn’t a civilian), and he will actually protect bystanders if they’re endangered by a battle. Of course, this doesn’t make his nefarious schemes and threats of mayhem any less real, as he will keep the promises behind those threats just as well as he will any other. His honor is important, and he will do anything to retain it, even if doing so requires some really stupid actions.
⁃ Muggleness • Since he’s actually a powerless supervillain, Normal lacks some of the finesse that a natural hero would have. He has no control over his projectile attacks after they’ve been shot off, such as the lightning bolts from his Lightning Cannon, and his accuracy is limited by his own vision and muscle control. His lack of any control over said lighting also leaves his primary attack completely useless against electrokinetics and those with similar powers. Technokinetics and electrokinetics can also interfere with his mechanical systems, but he will develop countermeasures as quickly as he can, and he’s done his best to lessen the danger of just a casual assault from either already.
⁃ Villain Ball • Despite his intellect and experience in the field that might tell him to act otherwise, Normal cultivates an air of rather stereotypical villain around himself, and he’ll wade into cliches and inherently flawed plans with just as much enthusiasm as a foal told he can go into an ice cream shoppe and get whatever he wants. Be it complicated death traps, leaving the hero alone for a while, a hearty evil laugh, or just having on really complicated and easily countered step as the final stage of his plan, he’s perfectly willing to do it. He actively refuses to correct this, and any attempts to do so are likely to just be pushed off as trying to change his tried and tested style.
⁃ Nice Guys Finish Last • Honestly, Normal’s a nice guy, and he can’t really stand to be mean, even to his enemies. He is absolutely helpless against children, and he’ll give even prisoners and his greatest nemeses the highest courtesies (and long as they aren’t rude. Then he complains about the rudeness). He’s not squeamish in the least bit, and he might well be trying to kill his opponents, but he’ll give them a sporting chance, and will often heed requests, especially last requests, or anything that just seems like it’s good manners to do.
Occupation: Supervillain/Inventor
Gear: Whatever badass invention(s) he’s made and that haven’t been broken by somepony yet.
History: Normal had the great misfortune of being born to a pair of unicorns in the city of Maretropolis, with a unicorn brother 6 years his senior (named Tinker Tock). His parents were hanging on to a slowly decaying noble status, and his arrival as an Earth Pony shook up their already teetering livelihoods. Throughout his life, Normal’s father never really cared much for him. He’d been expecting a unicorn, a pure blooded unicorn, like himself, and Normal coming out as a magicless, powerless earth pony, likely doomed to end up in farm work, or doing paperwork all his life, was a disappointment. Despite his father’s apparent ambivalence to Normal’s existence, the boy constantly attempted to impress him with his natural intellect and mechanical skills. His mother and brother were a bit more loving towards him, but the former was often distracted by the latter’s achievements, and both were often pulled away by his father. But in the end, they only really gave him any love out of their familiar relation, not because they loved who or what he was.
Normal was a prodigy at every grade level, and he moved through life as fast as he could, getting better at everything he possibly could. He didn’t simply spend all of his time studying, but it certainly took up whatever time wasn’t consumed by sports, a good number of which he participated in as he grew up. When he went into highschool, it was two years earlier than the kid he’d gone to elementary school with, and it certainly didn’t hurt his grades any. Sadly enough, this incredibly early entry into the world of teenage drama was thoroughly overshadowed by Tinker Tock’s exit from the same world, and entry into that of higher education. Now that did hurt him, and he was determined to get his parents’ attention. Somehow. So he set out on a bit of a magnum opus, a device that would become the prototype of his later augmentations. To create it, he took on various jobs and undertook numerous favors to pay for parts, tools and services, giving up a number of after-school activities and sports to pull them off. He managed to get Tinker himself in on it too, using the boy’s greater manual expertise and the fine control of his magic to perfect even the smallest bits. Actually learning at school became a bit of an afterthought to him, as his work in sensitive electronics and mechanics forced him to learn several years ahead in various subjects. He only went to highschool for 3 years before graduating, and he immediately set out on finding a college to accept him, but none leaped forwards to take in an untested 15-year-old. Thusly, he spent the next two years devoted wholly to his great project, refining it, making it better and better, and even testing its effectiveness a few times. Once he was 17, the Maretropolis Institute of Technology finally accepted his registration. He was without any free time for a long time, as he took every course he could manage to juggle on top of the others, and where Tinker had stopped at his Associate’s years ago, Normal just kept on with class after class after class.
But it was not to be. One night, Tinker came into Normal dorm, his entire body black and blue, covered with welts and tiny cuts. After finding out that it was his father’s doing, Normal flew into a rage. He gathered up the old parts of his invention and he ran home. He yelled and screamed at his father. At his mother. He spent an hour just letting his anger boil over at them. And then he revealed why his invention was so special. A bolt of lightning shot from his hand and left a scorch on the wall right above his father’s head. He’d missed, and he didn’t intend to miss again. He’d come to the realization in that moment that his father had always been right. Only the strongest survive. And right then and there, he was the strongest. His mother interposed herself between them. She hoped to end the fight. She just made it so Normal had to use two lightning bolts to kill his father. Of course, as his mother fell to the ground was the perfect moment for Tinker Tock to burst into the home. The poor stallion ran to the side of the mare, tears springing to his eyes. Another obstacle, apparently decided to get in the way of progress. Another arc of electricity to get it out of the way. The teenager approached his father, madness in his eyes. The last words the stallion heard came with a maniac laugh alongside them.
“Are you proud of me now, Father?”
Nowadays, he has a very regular schedule to his evildoing, generally a week long, unless circumstances get in the way. Monday through Thursday he spends setting up his evil plots, having to meetings (business only) with other villains, and grocery shopping every other week. On Friday, he informs a few key members of the press where and when this week’s scheme will be (this brings in a small bit of money on occasion, when it’s a particularly heinous plot, and he’s actually friends with some journalists nowadays), and makes sure any nearby businesses know about what events will be going on in their area, so they can clear out before the fighting starts. (he can pay to replace broken objects or repair buildings, but he cannot replace ponies. He knows exactly what it’s like to lose a loved one, and he will do what he can to keep a bystander from being slain by an unintentional act.) Still, there are casualties and injuries some of the time, and he has been spotted on some Sunday mornings just taking a somber stroll around the city, occasionally visiting those hurt by his activities and the actions of other villains, or just paying his respects in general.
He regularly patents his inventions in toned-down versions for commercial uses, and he gives out limited licences to some actual production companies for the actual creation and sale of them. For example, he once created a Hair Removal Ray which could disintegrate a pony’s entire coat and mane in a single instant, and thus ruining their appearance for months and/or years, and completely nullifying supers with hair-related powers. Now, there are modified versions of the spell it was based on sold on the market as unsightly hair removers and razors, capable of slicing down hair to a precise and desired length for as long as the crystals storing the spell can hold the magical charge. A copy of the original device, with a bit more precision added on, (the original itself, of course, having been destroyed by those accursed superponies) was donated to a local hospital, and now sees use in emergency procedures for those suffering large-scale trauma or burns, to get any and all hair out of the way of an operation when needed.
Personality: Normal is a very driven stallion, determined to prove his worth in a world that he believes is in consortium against him. This is no simple paranoia, but a matter of philosophy. Where the generally accepted belief among ponies is that helping one another is one of the greatest purposes of life, Normal believes that only the greatest ponies can succeed in life, and lesser ponies are doomed only to failure. Thusly, he is determined to become the best pony, by any means necessary. Years of constant setbacks and failure in reaching this goal, compounded by a childhood spent under the neverending glare of his parents and beneath the shadow of his brother, have left him both infinitely more determined to become the greatest, and at the same time he feels that he is unworthy (which he only intends to prove wrong).
Despite his philosophy espousing little care for others, Normal is honestly a very loving stallion. Even in his greatest rage, he will show signs of caring for the targets of said anger (though, if you haven’t guessed, that will not stop him from killing). There is no real room in his heart for a long-lasting hate, and he sees the superheroes of Maretropolis more as rivals to challenge than as lifelong foes to duel to the death. This is also largely why he attempt to avert civilian casualties, as he does not want any interference in the challenges, and moreover, he holds no malice towards them despite their lesser status. They will fail because that is the nature of survival of the fittest, and he does not need to be pushing it to cause such.
Current Home: Maretropolis, his Lair.

Name: Crimson Streak. Her Spellblade form calls itself Heart Breaker.
Mane: Long, dark grey, with a red streak, normally, but her Spellblade has a vividly reddish-pink mane.
Coat: Pale green, normal, light grey, Spellblade.
Cutie mark.: A painting of a crimson heart, with a paintbrush beside it.
Extra details that aren’t needed but are nice to add: She has eyes the color of an Amethyst.
Distinguishing Features: In both forms, she has a quite large bust and rump, though in her normal form, she always wears clothes that somewhat hide it.
Specialty (eg. special spells, unique powers etc): Normally, she uses a bit of magic to focus her mind, increasing precision to draw details exactly right. A Spellblade, however, uses it's hosts magic in battle, making her Spellblade form almost never miss it's target, and always very precise.
Weaknesses: Children, both forms do not like to see harm come to children, and they both have a slight fear of fire. The Spellblade form can be easily subdued if she can't find anyone to 'play' with, whether it be a fight or raunchier things.
Occupation: Artist.
Gear: Normally wears a long grey skirt and a light grey sweater, and a small, thin, pale white bracelet made of an odd, steel-like material, with an amethyst on it. In her Spellblade form, she appears to be wearing a skintight, pale white jumpsuit(Leaves almost nothing to the imagination), with lines etched randomly throughout it. the jumpsuit does not cover the middle of her torso, a canyon of cleavage always visible, as well as her abdomen and navel, though most of the outer parts of her breasts are covered. Her inner thighs are are uncovered, but the jumpsuit shapes into boots at her feet, high heels shaped like blunt-tipped daggers, while her arms, which are fully covered, sport a long blade at the side of her forearm, with a spur at the elbow. Her fingers are tipped with metal claws, the blades at her forearms can be extended to a total of two feet each, and each edge sharp enough to slice through steel if she jabs or swings hard enough. Her tail is covered in the same material as her jumpsuit, split into four tentacle-esque, cat-like tails that, while completely prehensile, are tipped with spear points, to be used in a fight. A bright amethyst gleams at each wrist and at her neck, like jewelry.
History: Streak was raised out in the country, always doing small sketches and paintings of friends, family, and nature itself. She got into an art career at age twenty, when she moved to Maretropolis to take classes and check out different museums for inspiration. After five years of uneventful studying and drawing, something odd happened. She was walking through a museum one day when a few stallions were moving boxes around, and a bracelet fell out, a gorgeous craft of amethyst and silver. She picked it up and stared at it, feeling some odd feeling stirring, before she started to hand it back to the stallion who dropped it, but then there was an explosion that leveled the building, and she woke up in her bed the next day with no clue what happened, and a bracelet on her wrist, which, oddly, wouldn't come off or even budge from it's spot, like it was fused to her body. On the news she saw an odd pony with her body shape, but wearing an odd outfit, and she had apparently slaughtered a few ponies who had attacked her in fear. Memories stirred, and as she stared at the bracelet, visions entered her mind, and she learned that the bracelet was a rare object known as a Spellblade Gauntlet, which, when an appropriate host was near, bound itself to them, allowing them to take on an extremely volatile form, called the Spellblade, which classified itself based upon their skills, and Streak's had formed into the Assassin Spellblade, with her precision making the form deadly at close combat, and somewhat stealthy. A year later, she is coping with absolutely no control over the form, it having appeared sporadically over time, always fighting anything it could, then she would awake back home, with small glimpses of memory as to what happened.
Personality: Kind, gentle, and cautious, normally, but when her Spellblade form is released, she becomes, well, like a sadistic mare in heat, flirty, horny, loving to fight and even enjoying her own pain, almost never losing her sadistically horny smirk.
Current Home: A studio apartment in uptown Maretropolis, on the twentieth floor.
Misc: A Spellblade's mind has a fine, molecule-thing line separating Lust and Bloodlust, the two feeling mixing together for the creature, causing her to behave quite unlike how most would in a fight.
Power Level
Strength: 1, when her Spellblade form is not released, 4, when it is.
Intelligence: 4, normally, 1, when in Spellblade form.
Energy Projection: 1 for both forms.
Fighting Ability: 1, normally, 4, for Spellblade.
Durability: 1, normally, 5, for her Spellblade's armor, and 4 for the Spellblade's body.
Speed: 1, normally, around 4 when her Spellblade form is released.

Name: Candle Flame
Supermare Name: Phoenix Fire
Race: unicorn
Age: 18
Supermare Disguise: a red body suit with flame designs on the hooves and (blue) around the eyes
Mane: gradient blond to red, with the rest of the yellow, orange, and red hues in between; sometimes her mane is in a ponytail
Coat: candle wax color
Cutie Mark: a candle
Alignment: Lawful Good
Extra details: royal blue eyes
Specialty: pyrokinesis; she’s immune to fire, except for her hair (she uses a fireproofing spell for this); a hard fiery disk that Candle can use to “fly”, as long as she concentrates on it (kinda hard to do in a fight);
Weaknesses: weak swimmer; sometimes has… accidents, with her fire ability; she’s very well-practiced in spells, but she’s still quite inexperienced with hoof-to-hoof combat
Occupation: metalworker
Gear:
History: Candle had an average foalhood. She lived in an apartment in Maretropolis with her two dads and was a well-behaved foal.
However, she was a bit of a walking disaster. At school, her creativity caused fires, damage to school property, and frightened other foals and once ended with her losing all of her hair. At home, she also caused permanent damage and some fear. She and her parents were often on the verge of being kicked out by the landlord.
Eventually her dads decided they’d have to teach her better control over her magical abilities, or things would probably get worse. They bought her books on pyrokinesis, pyrotechnics, fire prevention and fire extinguishing spells, and did their best to teach her these spells despite one of them being a pegasus and the other a unicorn who’s talent had nothing to do with fire.
Candle learned quickly, though. She was dedicated, studious, and talented. She was very eager to learn to control her magic better so she wouldn’t burn something every time she sneezed. Though, she found that the books were not as helpful as she would’ve liked. Most of the books’ contents were more about how to use fire as a weapon, and how dangerous it was and most ponies who’d used these spells were rather infamous; at least five of them had been well-known supervillains.
Fire had a bad name, Candle learned pretty quickly. She was dissatisfied with that. Fire wasn’t bad. Bad ponies just used it for bad purposes. Fire, for the most part, was actually good. Campfires were good. Candles and lanterns were good. Heck, the sun was a ginormous ball of fire and it was the reason any of them were alive. At that point, Candle decided she’d make a better name for fire.
She started focusing more on the offensive and defensive spells, as well as the more obscure ones. Obviously her parents were quick to inquire, and were surprised to hear Candle answer so boldly “I wanna be a supermare!”
One of her parents was (while hesitant and sure it was finally that phase that all foals go through) supportive of her new goal, while the other was more obviously in the position of “please choose a less deadly career”. Unfortunately for Candle, it seemed like she might have to choose the second option, since she had nowhere to train to be a supermare. She couldn’t train anywhere in public, and she couldn’t train in the apartment, and she couldn’t train anywhere too far from home. She had nowhere to go.
So for a few years Candle had to give up. Meanwhile, she did find other hobbies: glass blowing, candle making, singing, dancing, and a bit of fire dancing*. While she got very good at that, she never earned her cutie mark for it, to her disappointment.
One day, Candle went to a beach by herself. She reflected on her past dreams of becoming a supermare, then, with a simple look at her surroundings, felt a swell of joy and excitement as she realized it was actually a perfect place to train herself! Whenever she could, she got her books from home and practiced the spells. She also practiced dodging and hoof-to-hoof combat, but, as she didn’t have anypony to practice with, it was hard for her to get better.
When Candle became an adult, she tried to make a living from one of her hobbies. First she tried candle making; business wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t enough to live on. So she tried regular fire shows. That was good as well, except they left her exhausted after a week and the bits were inconsistent. She didn’t even consider singing or dancing, as that’d draw too much attention to her (she then mentally smacked herself for not considering the same about her fire shows). Glassblowing was also inconsistent with its bits. After a while of job searching, Candle found something that’d have consistent pay and that would at least let her exercise her magic: metalworking.
The job left her with less time to practice, but at least she had a job. While she got very good with spells, and did expand from fire spells, she didn’t make as much progress with her hoof-to-hoof combat. She also has yet to stop any supervillains.
Power Level Strength: 2 Intelligence: 3 Energy Projection: 4-5 Fighting Ability: 2 Durability: 2 Speed: 2
*can I just call the fire twirling, eating, juggling, etc fire dancing?

Name: Fine Fantasy
Supername: The Changeling
Race: unicorn
Age: 19
Alignment: lawful good
Mane: dark reddish-brown with a bright blue streak; in a ponytail
Coat: parchment color
Cutie mark: a white quill
Extra details: dark brown eyes
Distinguishing Features:
Specialty: shapeshifting; if her life is threatened, and if it’ll help at all, Fantasy will unconsciously change variation of pony (pegasus, merpony, etc)(may or may not work; helps to already have hooves)
Weaknesses: it has to be completely organic and from the animalia family (she could technically become a plant, but she’d lose all sentience, unless it were some special plant); it must exist in that universe; the bigger/smaller/more powerful it is than her original form, the more time and energy it takes to become that animal (it is technically possible for her to become a leviathan or smaller than a molecule, but it’d take a hell of a lot of time and energy); when she’s a (non-verbal) animal, she can’t verbally communicate with other ponies (pretty obvious, but given cartoons can have talking animals…); she has to have seen the animal before becoming it
Occupation:
Gear:
History: Everything about Fantasy’s history is the same as before, up until she’s transported.
The spell was supposed to bring her to Equestria, but it missed the Equus dimension, so the trip through the dimensional spaces was extended. This resulted in Fantasy’s amethyst shattering and disintegrating, the book becoming ashes, and Fantasy’s molecular structure becoming unstable.
She crash-lands in the ocean, which attracts the attention of some nearby merponies. Before they reach her, however, they witness her unconscious form growing gills, fins, and a fish tail, becoming a merpony. They take her into their underwater city, and when she wakes up they tell her what happened, or at least what they know of it. Fantasy thinks she’s gone crazy, is in a coma, or both.
A week later, however, she’s pretty sure it’s real. Or at least that she’s not waking up/the illusion’s not dispersing any time soon. After this, the merponies who rescued her help her learn how her powers work and how to make them work. She discovers the limitations, and gets better at performing some more difficult transformations. After a while, when the merponies think she’s had adequate practice, they ask her if she’s willing to risk going to the surface city, Maretropolis, and becoming a supermare, or if she’d prefer to stay safe in their underwater city. Fantasy, after a bit of thought, decides to at least attempt to help. She leaves the underwater city and heads for Maretropolis.

As per our Skype conversation about how her powers work, this is approved. If you'd kindly fix up the capitalization and grammar, however, that'd be fantastic.

Age: Has been in the city for over 50 years. Actual age unknown.
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Mane: Brown dreadlocks
Coat: Gray
Cutie mark.: A guitar with a thunderbolt striking through it.
Extra details that aren’t needed but are nice to add: He has a scar on his left eye that goes all the way to his nose from when he accidentally snapped a string, or so the tales tell.
Distinguishing Features: He has spiked leather hoofguards and all the telltale signs of a metal fan. His guitar is also shaped like a battleaxe (Though few know that it actually IS a battleaxe)
Specialty (eg. special spells, unique powers etc): Playing an electric guitar. Thanks to his enchanted guitar's abilities, he can also hypnotize ponies of his choosing. The type of riff or solo that he plays determines the effects his guitar will have - the harder the riff or solo, the deadlier the effects. His guitar also is enchanted to have an invisible back-up band that backs up any tune Dread strikes up though he can dismiss this band at will.
These are the main riffs and solos he has available, with links to applicable songs: Desert Sands: All affected targets are under the illusion of being swallowed by quicksand. Pegasi feel their wings grow leaden and are forced to land, to be swallowed by the sands. Targets can be choked to death by this. Peace Equals War: All chosen targets shrug aside their fear of death, increasing their speed dramatically and making them fear nothing. Road To Ruin: All affected targets are unable to take steps in any direction or flap their wings without feeling like hot iron spikes are driving into their hooves. Serve The King: Summons minions that overwhelm enemies. These get stronger the longer the effect is maintained. Brewing Storm: The longest ability to wind up, this song summons lightning bolts that strike indiscriminately at approaching targets. He has only used this ability once before and it had devastating results. It also generates a shield around Dread that slowly gathers power until it's almost impenetrable once the winding period is over. Consumed By Hate: While this song is active any hostile act taken against him causes a part of the attacker's body to burst into magical flame that can only be put out by laying down one's weapons with genuine conviction. Each attack adds another flame until the attacker either quits or burns to death. Doesn't work against those immune to fire.
Weaknesses: Relies on others to clean up the mess that might be left behind after he is done, must keep playing to keep hypnotizing effects active, with the exception of his Desert Sands if it successfully chokes the victim to unconciousness or to death. In addition, it takes time for him to actually activate the effects and quick-thinking foes can use this to their advantage. Naturally, the deaf are immune to his hypnotizing effects, though his harming powers can still affect them as long as they have physically visible effects. Finally, he is unable to use more than one of his abilities at a time.
Occupation: Balance-keeper of the city. Practically means keeping both supervillains and superheroes from getting too powerful.
History: Once upon a time, Maretropolis was far more of a battleground than it is today. Superheroes and supervillains were abundant, each greater than the last, all stuck in an eternal conflict. The citizens of the great city silently cried out for help even as they cheered the self-proclaimed "heroes" of the conflict, for despite their opposition of the supervillains, the battle for Maretropolis didn't seem to end.
Little did they know that the battle was meant to be eternal, but some reprieve was given to them when, during a big battle involving practically every superhero and villain, a lightning storm converged. This in itself wasn't unusual, but the presense of music caught everyone off guard. It boomed across the battlefield, as if the thunder itself was playing it. With a thunderstrike, Dread Lock appeared.
Upon pointing his two hooves at both sides, he demanded that they stop. Unsurprisingly, they refused and began once more. Then his guitar began playing and by the end of it the amount of heroes and villains in the city had been reduced by more than 80%. This gave the city some time to breathe. Now, however, the battles are getting large once more. This time Dread is going to stop it from escalating by preventing their numbers from getting too large. Preferably without death.
Personality: Dread doesn't talk much, but when he does, it's usually because he has something important to say. He cares not what happens to the heroes or the villains, but will still make sure no harm comes to any of them if not necessary.
Current Home: Unknown.

Name: Snowfall (Alias: Blackout)
Race: Pegasus
Age: 27
Alignment: Neutral
Mane: Pure white. Spikes up when his powers are in use.
Coat: Pure white
Cutie mark.: A diagram demonstrating the transference of heat (a pair of orbs, one red and one blue, with the red "leaking" into the blue)
Extra details that aren’t needed but are nice to add: Has solid white eyes with no pupils or iris when his powers are not in use and solid black when they are in use.
Distinguishing Features: His all white color scheme and his black blood
Specialty (eg. special spells, unique powers etc): Blackout can absorb the power of any other hero through physical contact to use them as his own.
Weaknesses: Can only absorb one set of powers at a time and has only a finite amount of power; he will tire more quickly using another ponies power than they would using it.
Occupation: Mercenary
Gear: Wields a lightning blaster of his own invention designed to act as a long ranged taser. Has a body covering hologram project to use as a disguise in lieu of a costume.
History: Blackout and his twin White Noise were created as a result of genetic experiments in an early effort to artificially create new heroes rather than awaiting more supers, as at the time the superhero community was being overwhelmed. The aim of Blackout and White Noise was to make a pair of twins who would rely upon each other for their powers to operate and then to ensure their personal relationship was exceptionally close, to allow that to be used as leverage to ensure loyalty.
Unfortunately the brothers powers began to evolve to work on their own, no longer needing their sibling to use their abilities; with this in mind the two soon devised a plan to escape and live their own lives, enacting their escape attempt by having White Noise take down the facility defenses while Blackout removed them from the data base, eliminating any record of their creation.
The two brothers upon their escape made their way to Maretropolis and have since put up the front that they are a perfectly ordinary pair of supers as opposed to artificial creations. They currently work for the employer who will pay them and protect them the best, which has alternated between both the Power Ponies and various villains in the past.
Personality: Blackout is very quiet and detached toward others except for his brother; only White Noise can carry long conversations with Blackout, others are likely to get little more than silent stares and one word yes or no answers to queries.
Blackout goes along with White Noise's idea of hiring themselves out to the highest payer more for scientific interest in testing the boundaries of his own power; he cares little for the money so long as he can eat and keep their home, and as such often uses his minor share to just buy him equipment for whatever experiment he wishes to perform next.
Largely because of their history, the brothers will take down any illegal experiments on other ponies free of charge or of their own accord.
Current Home: Blackout lives in a disused apartment building along with White Noise, where the two of them have refurbished the second and third floors to be habitable and use them as one large living space, while the basement is Blackout's personal laboratory space; the first and ground floor are left in run down and abandoned state to put up the illusion of the building still being abandoned. Misc: Blackout is wanted by the Maretropolis Police Department with a 1000 bit reward for his capture.

Name: Bedtime (Alias: White Noise)
Race: Earth Pony
Age: 27
Alignment: Neutral, leaning towards Evil
Mane: Long, scraggly and black
Coat: black
Cutie mark.: A monitor showing static
Extra details that aren’t needed but are nice to add: White Noise is a mute
Distinguishing Features: His muteism, his all black coloration, his height (7'1)
Specialty (eg. special spells, unique powers etc): White Noise is capable of psychic manipulation and control over both minds and physical objects; his name came from his ability to instill a brown note into a ponies brain that was described as sounding like static or white noise; this brown note causes major motor function failure, ranging anywhere from muscle atrophy to stopping of the heart, depending on the strength and biological health of the subject in question.
White Noise additionally uses his powers for telepathic communication, which is how he gets around the hurdle of his lack of speech. Despite the potential clearly being there, White Noise cannot read minds; neither he nor his brother know if this is because of a lack of training on how to do that or a deliberate omission when they were created.
On top of his psychic abilities, due to the damage the White Noise ability can cause to his own body, White Noise also has a regenerative healing factor, which redirects the energy he uses for his psychic powers to healing damage.
Weaknesses: Due to his energy dictating both his psychic abilities and his healing factor, he cannot use them simultaneously. Additionally, his signature white noise ability also causes muscle failure and internal damage to himself, relegating it to being strictly a last resort ability even ignoring his usual desire to incapacitate rather than kill.
Occupation: Mercenary
Gear: Wears a suit of snow white kevlar armor in combat along with a metal helmet that is shaped like a dragon's head.

They currently work for the employer who will pay them and protect them the best, which has alternated between both the Power Ponies and various villains in the past.
Personality: White Noise is very apathetic towards the reasons why he and his brother were created and takes far more personal enjoyment than his brother in enjoying his powers; it is not uncommon for White Noise to draw unnecessary attention by attempting to use his powers for petty crimes such as robbery and vandalism towards those he sees as having slighted him.
Despite Blackout's distant nature, White Noise loves him dearly and is constantly trying to persuade him to join up with one of the villains more permanently, not trusting the Power Ponies to not simply hand them over to the government again if they were to join them; despite this lack of trust White Noise is willing to work with them mostly because of Blackout vouching for them.
Current Home: He shares his abode with Blackout, living primarily on the third floor.
Misc: White Noise's eyes display blurring and streaking lights like static when using his powers, another reason for his name. It is theorised that whatever biological basis his powers have may be connected to his optical nerves, but this has not been significantly tested by him or his brother due to potential harm to him and his abilities.

Name: Auftrag Tyrannus (Alias: The Jack of Smiles)
Race: Unicorn
Age: 34
Alignment: Lawful Evil
Mane: Silver
Coat: Pale blue
Cutie mark: A serpent that consumes it's own tail
Extra details that aren’t needed but are nice to add: His eyes are a lovely shade of green to match with his suit, and he files his fangs down on a regular basis.
Distinguishing Features: His sangria suit jacket, waist coat, flat tie and trousers really stand out, especially with his fern green dress shirt.
Specialty (eg. special spells, unique powers etc): Other than being gifted with the gift of heavy charisma, a silver tongue, and 22 years of experience Auftrag has a few powers. He can 'teleport' short distances using a combination magic enhancement and speed, though he can't teleport through objects due to the nature of it, instead he has to move over or around them. He can summon bursts of energy to attack ponies within 10 - 20 feet of him or channel them into his physical attacks to give them more punch. He can summon his family's signature chain-whip, Ouroboros to strike enemies out to 15 meters and drag them towards himself, though it can miss. He can regenerate fairly quickly from wounds, taking about 6 minutes to go from 'Death's Door' to 'Can walk to a hospital to get proper medical treatment', but severe damage, like getting an arm severed, has to be dealt with by actual doctors before his healing will kick in to reattach it.
His actual super power is the once a day ability to create a field with a 10 meter radius that resets everyone within it to a state of 'normal' as long as they're in the field. Super strength or speed that isn't gained through intense training is reset to the strength of the average pony. Superpowers are shut off while in the field. The big drawback is it's short range, duration of five minutes, and its only available once per day, making the use of it at the right time extremely important.
Weaknesses: Auftrag is only a super in the loosest definition of the term. His power simply renders ponies normal and doesn't do away with their intelligence, tech or fighting experience. Everything else about him is acquired from experience fighting for his life in the Griffon Empire and fighting crime in Maretropolis. His healing is easily beaten by decapitation or limb severing.
Occupation: Mayor of Maretropolis
Gear: A pair of (rather ornate, yet functional) folding blades, a bladed trilby hat, a bladed top hat (for formal occasions), a sword cane with a built in pistol (for formal occasions, and it comes with a pistol for dueling too), his four piece suit that has Kevlar woven into it, sunglasses, binoculars, a pencil, a notebook, a mask from his time as a masked vigilante, and whatever being the mayor gives him other than a license to be kidnapped and/or taken hostage.
History: Auftrag grew up on the west coast of the Griffon Kingdoms. His upbringing was rough, being taught at age six by his father to deal with his problems by fighting them. He went to the provided public school, learning his maths, sciences, grammar, and so forth. There weren't many conflicts early on, most of the ones that did happen were minor, and easily solved by his gift of a silver tongue. Then at age 12, there was a dispute with a bully that got violent and ended up with Auftrag being shiv'd with a pencil. He learned then that he was a regenerator, a pony that could recover from wounds at a fairly brisk pace. He clobbered the bully, making sure that the griffon who shiv'd him knew that Auftrag Tyrannus was not one to be toyed with. He started practicing fighting styles and training his intellect even further, soon gaining his cutie mark a year after the incident and learning how to use his family's ancestral weapon, Ouroboros. At 16 he graduated from the public schooling system and went on to a finishing school, learning how to be a quintessential gentlestallion and earning his sword cane with a built in pistol at age 20. Now that he was out and on his own, he applied his experience to fighting crime and vigilante justice, while working as an accountant. At age 23, he saved up enough money to buy passage to Equestria, getting on a boat to Maretropolis. When he arrived in Maretropolis, he was stricken with the amount of violence in the street, and became a vigilante once again. But soon, he realized that he was fighting against superpowered ponies instead of run of the mill griffon thugs, and simple martial arts combined with peak physical strength wouldn't cover it. He worked on his magic skills, eventually getting them to the point where he could weave them into his fighting style with no interruption. He worked as a political aide to the mayor at the time to cover other expenses, as he saw that the police were incompetent when it came to handling the villains running about. At age 32, it came time yet again for the current incumbent to run for office, and Auftrag saw his moment to make a difference. He ran against his former employer on the ticket of change, reform, and cleaning up the city streets. Auftrag won by a landslide, landing himself the position of Mayor. Now as Mayor, he works to keep the city working, the trains running on time, and keeping the streets clean. It doesn't mean he doesn't run around at night or his days off beating criminals senseless though, old habits die hard...
Personality: Generally acts like a gentlestallion in public to keep a good reputation, and does a lot of good acts to keep the opinion polls high, but deep down he's a sociopath who will do anything for success or to see his goals made true. He tends to dislike criminals who don't have a cause or reason for what they do, talking down to them and calling them 'Republic Serial Villains'. He doesn't much like supers either, seeing them as flawless Colt/Filly scouts with no real character to them who would rather throw criminals in jail and leave everyone else to solve the problem of keeping them there. He takes a special joy in beating lawbreakers senseless or cutting them up, and he will fight a super or two if he has to.
Current Home: An apartment in Maretropolis, close to city hall.
Misc: It's rumored that his political was funded by the Solitaire Company, but those are just rumors.

Name: Wormhole
Race: Unicorn
Age: Unknown including to him (28 in actuality)
Alignment: Evil
Mane: White with dark grey streaks
Coat: Dark blue
Cutie Mark: A black hole
Extra Details: Looks older than he actually is due to constant use of his powers, looking closer to mid-forties.
Distinguishing Details: Has a very muted color scheme compared to most ponies, almost like faded paint; it is theorised to be a result of abuse of his powers.
Specialty: Ability to time travel and cross parallel dimensions. Also a highly trained combatant.
Weaknesses: While capable in combat, Wormhole lacks any powers which compliment this and cannot focus enough to use his powers in the middle of a fight, preventing an easy escape. In addition frequent use of his powers in a short span of time can cause effects like illness, seizures and premature aging.
Occupation: Assassin
Gear: Wears an all covering black and grey bodysuit inscribed with roman numerals on his sleeves; for each assassination he adds a number to the sleeves, which currently sit at XXVIII. He also keeps several watches on his person at all times to keep track of different dates; for weapons he typically carries four automatic pistols (two held in his telekinesis, two used with his arms/forehooves) as well as a long beige briefcase containing a collapsible sniper rifle.
History: Wormhole (who has long since both abandoned and forgotten his proper name) was a unicorn who in his seclusion was determined to unlock the secrets of easy time travel, believing it was able to be done without complicated rituals and heavy resources and that it was just the techniques that were missing; he spent over eight years dedicating himself to studying time travel almost every waking day before eventually he decided to send himself back in time using a known ritual (once he had the resources for it) in order to study the nature of the ritual first hand.
Unfortunately the many experiments Wormhole had conducted on himself using magic to attempt to give himself an ability to make these portals on command interfered with the spell; during the process the magic of the portal poured directly into Wormhole, exposing him to the void of time and space in utterly unprotected fashion. The world he arrived in is not the one he left but he cannot remember much of the world he left; he settled in the world of the Power Ponies and tried to study their history, finding it dotted with all sorts of horrible conflicts and wars related to the supers.
Horrified, he discovered that the magic that had latched to him from the void finally allowed him to do what he had believed possible, however the powers proved to be difficult to control and Wormhole regularly found himself slipping out of space and time and on one fateful occasion viewed almost the entire history of the power ponies world in one quick rush; while this incident finally cemented Wormhole's control of his powers, it also drove the unicorn insane and convinced him to experiment with time by killing major figures of the past to observe the distortions, with no care for the potential disastrous paradoxes he would cause.
Wormhole is currently contained in a Power Ponies containment facility; his cell is kept constantly in a state of suspended animation to prevent him simply time travelling out. Just a few seconds would allow Wormhole to escape, which has happened before.
Personality: Wormhole is very curious and conducts himself like a scientist observing their work. When it comes to killing however, despite his claims that it is only for studying purposes and he holds no ill will or pleasure from it, it is clear Wormhole enjoys killing and often toys with his targets before actually killing them.
Wormhole is usually quite calm emotionally and does not let his anger or frustration show, but the act of others time travelling back to stop him (as the Power Ponies usually do) enrages him, not just because he feels they are disrupting his work but because he has gotten it into his head that as he can time travel without the use of advanced rituals, only he is deserving of the right to do so.
Current Home: Eclipse Maximum Security Prison
Misc: Possibly as a result of the magic contained within him, Wormhole speaks with an echo as if three versions of him at different ages are talking at once.
