"I can if you want me to, but them who will watch the throne?"

"Well, Shining Armour can do it perfectly well, can't he?" Celestia asked. "He is married to Cadance, after all. He should know how to run a kingdom."

"I suppose... so when do we go?"

"I don't know." She shrugged. "Better wait for the situation here to stabilise first."

"True enough." He shucked off his armour with a clash.

"Right." Celestia smiles as she continues listening to the music. "So... anything in particular to do now?"

"Nope." He replied, ears twitching

"It's... oddly peaceful, really." Celestia looked around. "I'd say we're doing a pretty good job of holding the fort down."

"Yeah..."

Harmony eventually finished playing her song. "So, how did I do?"

"Brilliantly love.~"

"Yes, you played well." Celestia nodded. She turned to Paladin. "Perhaps we ought to go and check how things are going."

"If you want..." He sighed and donned his armour.

Celestia shrugged. "I mean, we don't have to if you don't want to."

Harmony, in the meantime, looked worried. "What should I do then?"

"We probably should. You can stay here or don't. I don't mind love."

"Alright then, let's go." Celestia stood up.

Harmony looked uncertain. "Um... well, if I shouldn't know too much I guess I'll just stay here."

"Okay." He kissed her. "Bye~"

"Bye." Harmony replied reluctantly.

"Alright, let's go." Celestia donned her regalia. "I'm ready."

"Sorry sweetie."

He opened the door and gestured for her to go.

"Thanks." Celestia strode out. "Where do you think we should go first? Shining Armour isn't the type to sit on the throne and give orders. He'll be with the troops."

"No idea. The barracks?"

"What would he be doing in the barracks, though?" Celestia wondered. "In fact, what would he be doing right now anyway? What could he do to solve this crisis?"

"No freaking clues. That's why I'm just your guard."

"You don't give yourself enough credit." Celestia shook her head. "Never mind. We'll try the barracks first, then." She set off down the hall. "It's just outside the Palace. We'll be there shortly."

He nodded and followed her.
