It Takes All Kinds [private]

There were two things Sugary would more or less notice throughout his mad dash: One was the lack passengers and bandits in the halls despite the need to have belongings placed en masse, and the other was that he may or may not have overshot the what he sought for all he knew. There was a chance, of course, that the bandits might actually number very few and hard to spot because of that fact, enough to be dealt with more easily than expected aside from the obvious threat of the explosives themselves.

It was all an assumption from behind the flames though, as he practically went as far as the staff car and then finally let himself fall to the ground facing up as both the flames and the fireproof barrier were dissipated, along with what was now the charred and ashy remains of all his clothes over and around his body and mane he brought along with him. He coughed a few times, gasping for air a bit as he did his best to be as big a distraction as possible along the way, and try to give Kimi some sort of opening depending on how the bandits reacted to his unusual methodology at this point. He still kept his eyes and ears sharp though. Someone was bound to come to him for whatever reason at any time after what he did as he lay there with eyes as wide as a faux-frightened stallion could look as he lay seemingly helpless and dazed.

That explosion had scared the passengers well enough to quickly rush back to their rooms. Though they did notice the screaming pony who was on fire running through the halls, none really acted to try and help the burning pony.  

The amount of smoke that was coming off of Sugary's body was not enough to  set off the smoke detectors, especially since he kept running between the cars. With each opening of the door it acted as a sort of suction that pulled out a good amount of accumulated smoke, and by the time he had gotten to the front, well whatever he had on him that was burning was gone, so no smoke was being made by then.

The staff car, was minimally occupied. There were some staff still inside, but they were all tied up, so even if they had wanted to help, they couldn't since they had been tied up, but on top of that there were some that were dressed like staff, except they carried guns. There were four of them, one of them was closest to the door, with his back to it, constantly looking at his watch keeping track of the time.

Two of them were to the back playing cards against each other. While the biggest one was in between the two furthest back and the pony nearest the door where Sugary had stopped at. He kept pacing back at forth, his hands holding a single semi-automatic rifle, much like Al's weapon, they also had rune markings upon them.

Kimi was having little to no problem with moving against the wind that was pushing against her on the rooftops. She kept up with Sugary's pacing. She would come to a halt at the same place where Sugary had halted and knelt down. Looking between the spacing of the car she was standing on and the car in front of her. She glanced ahead to see the head car and pondered to herself about what should she do. Either the Al is in this car or in the car ahead.

The bad guys in the staff guard all looked to each other when they faintly heard the screaming Sugary did from the next car over. The volume wasn't as loud going between two cars, but they definitely heard screaming. The one nearest the door would turn towards the door and walk up to it to look through the window to see into the other car through that cars door window. The pony didn't really expect to see someone on fire though and jumped back. "What in the world?!"

This gathered the attention of the other guys and they all looked to him. "What is it?" said one of the ponies playing cards.

"S-s-somepony was on fire!"

The pony nearest the door would look back to them and the others would look at each other before looking back to that pony. They didn't really believe him though. "What do you mean somepony is on fire?"

The pony had looked back through the window, but he didn't see Sugary had fallen to the ground. "Well I can't be any clearer than that, somepony was on fire! I swear!"

The big pony walked up to look through the door's window as well, but didn't see anything. "I don't see anything."

The pony standing next to him would respond. "But the pony was just there..." The big pony would look at him and then pat him on the back. "Just relax, we just need to wait till the hours up before collecting the loot and then blowing the train sky high. It's probably just your nerves."

That pony whose back was patted would sigh and shake his head. "No, it's not my nerves, I know what I saw and I'm gonna go check it out, maybe the pony is burnt to a crisp on the floor." That pony would open the door and close it behind himself and move in between the cars to open the door to the other car.

For once, Sugary finally saw someone moving towards him, but he soon could tell the fella was armed with a familiar looking weapon. "Guess that's one of them... Now let's see if I can still surprise him a bit. Got to avoid provoking him though, lest there be others nearby threatening innocents... If only this were an open battlefield..." He'd still keep up the act of playing the victim as he began coughing as if he were choking, and wriggled over the floor for a bit as if he had a quick spasm. "H-Help...!!" He never lost sight of the bandit however, making sure as to how he held his weapon at any one time as he looked to the bandit with pleading eyes. "I-I slept... Explosion... Then more explosions! Fire!! I kept running... My clothes!! I lost all my clothes!! Look at this!!" It was a cheap act as he pointed right towards his rather bare yet ash covered privates to emphasize his obvious point to the bandit, but what really mattered was that he tried to get the bandit to come close enough or drop his guard... Not like he was lacking a Plan B as he minded his Inventory being right next to him, ready immediate for use. "Come on... I know you're not a normal passenger... Get over here..."

Well Sugary did have the pony's attention. Though that very pony looked at Sugary and with a disgusted look on his face stepped back. "Oh dude, what the buck!" He turned his head away so he wouldn't look at a nude stallion. In his left hand, he held a hand gun, on his right wrist he had a watch. He certainly wasn't expecting a nude stallion, he was expecting a crispy one, but this one was only covered in ash.

Part of what Sugary spent time doing was to keep track of Kimi, whom he was fairly certain she was still right above him as his Guardian Angel... or Angel of Death, depending on the circumstances. "I hope she's keeping track, there's only so much I can do from down here right now."

Once the stallion turned away though, Sugary saw an opportunity to do something since he was currently alone with him as far as he was concerned. It was at that very moment he immediately dropped the idiot act for the bandit, and carefully charged up his horn as quickly as he could while drawing gear from his Inventory. The magic he'd use right away against the bandit was a Mute spell, sending out a wave of sound suppressing magic in the general direction of the bandit in the space they were in that barely affected the coloring of the surrounding area, but it's effects to the bandit should be made clear the instant he merely heard nothing but his own sounds up until the suppressing wave affected even him and hear nothing at all, should it work. Sugary didn't want to risk being snuck from behind, so he only focused the spell on the bandit to let him hear of any possible trouble coming near as he got up swiftly from the ground.

Simultaneously along with the spell, he'd untie and detach the Inventory to his waist and levitate it after summoning, and also levitating, a steel spear and a steel oval shield. His plan was meant as follows: Use the magic Inventory rune bag by rapidly levitating it towards the weapon in the bandits hand and activate it from where he was to try and steal it from the bandit's grasp by magical force and stock it away with the rest of his gear. Then, fling the spear right between the space of the bandit's legs and quickly spin it around to get him to trip and fall harshly with dedicated control. And finally, try to use the shield to bash him either in the gut or the back of the head to keep him down, and try to approach him personally to use a Sleep spell on the bandit next without any of the hits being heard at all... If things went awry, he'd keep the shield to himself for protection, keeping the somewhat resilient but vital Inventory as safe as possible, and keeping his spear and magic ready for the attack.

Kimi jumped over to the next car before the guy opened the door, and she crouched down and kept near the door of the car she landed on. She stayed quiet and watched as Sugary went to work, well if that could even be called worked. She would jump in if she ever found Sugary in a tight spot.


Thing's that had needed to be kept into consideration was the small space they were in. They were on a train, not a colosseum, so something's worked, while some other things didn't. What did work was the mute spell on the bandit. He had made an attempt to speak to tell Sugary to get up and put some clothes on, but found himself unable to make noise. His attention had quickly shot toward's Sugary who at the same time had gotten up, summoned a shield and spear and attempted to trip the bandit, but this was the part that didn't exactly work. A typical spear length, is a terrible choice for such a small space, and attempting to trip the bandit by shoving the spear between his legs and spin the spear, would not work as the spear would actually hit the wall of the train and bounce back toward's Sugary, and the other thing that didn't work was when Sugary had attempted to use magic on the gun.

Part of the runic markings on the gun had lit up and much like what had happened to Al when Sugary had tried using magic on her, a puff of smoke would occur as the rune's outright rejected the magic that was attempted to be used on it, but what did work as the bandit had made his attempt to try and shoot Sugary, was when Sugary had bashed the Bandit in the gut. With the steel force of the shield pushing back against the Bandit, the Bandit in the very quick exchange of things had fallen backwards out the still open door and landed on his back, the gun he had held had actually flew from his grip, bounced against the floor, hit the wall of the other car and fell over the edge and off the train. Before the Bandit could fully attempt to get back up off the ground, he was affected by the sleep spell.

Ash just had to get in Sugary's eyes the moment he threw the spear to spin it, irritating him briefly and throwing off his intent to not spin it against the walls, but rather in a more vertical manner. In retrospect, a mace would have been a better choice. "I think setting myself on fire is proof I'm going senile early as is..." Hopefully, he had nothing to worry over aside from making sure to easily grab the weapon again, ready to be tossed if needed in the immediate encounter as he kept going.

Again, the the effect of the runes on the bandit's weapon really made Sugary wary of their appearance as even his ever trusty Inventory could not grasp it. "Whoever made that must have been just as thorough as the Professor..." He didn't have time to examine though as he gave the final touch of disabling his opponent with a hard hit and a rather thorough seeping of his sleeping spell to make sure the bandit would stay out cold.

He placed the gear back into the Inventory, and tied the Inventory back onto his waist as he then got the idea to use the bandit's body to his advantage. He focused his magic as he dissipated the Mute field slowly while casting another spell on himself, starting off as what might have looked like small mirrors changing colors all around his body up until he was no longer visible, especially his horn and the magic aura it emitted. Then, carefully, he levitated the body up to make it stand like a puppet, gave it one of the bags from the loot to grab, made him hold onto it over his shoulder and slump to keep his closed eyes from being seen well, and had it walk over in the direction where he saw the bandit come from and see if he could draw the attention of others with it, making sure to stay close and time his steps with the body. He surmised that he might be able to get close to the intended target that way, but likely was not the case. Even if he learned of that fact later on though, he could still try to take a few down one by one to lessen their troubles. "Just keep calm... Keep focused..."

Kimi waited in silence, practically laying against the rooftop of the car and having her palms against the cars top, feeling the vibrations quickly shooting into her and getting an image of whats going on below her and where everyone was moving, so far Sugary seemed to be i control of things.

When Sugary brought in the unconscious pony in, the big pony from before would speak up first. "So was there somepony on-...woah, why did you bring that in? we aren't suppose to collect things just yet. If the boss get's wind of this you'll know what she'll do."

Sugary had to try and quickly look into the room where the rest of the cohorts were in, successfully identifying at least three more like the one he knocked out. That still left him with the delicate situation of hostages and high explosives. A dozen of the rune armed foes was hardly a bother for him to face in open combat, but lives were at stake now, so mistakes and bravado had to be kept to the bare minimum.

Since he was able to take one down, he thought to keep relying on mind games to see if he could lure the others one way or another. He then decided to act upon how willing they were to care for their own lives as well as that of their own. Their boss might be more trigger happy with the explosives for all he knew, but perhaps the rest were less so.

He slowly stepped back along with the sleeping stallion from the door, and had him turn around and place the bag down as he had the stallion walk over to an open window, then have the stallion seemingly make the gesture of pulling his head back as if taking a deep breath of air, and then have him collapse slowly onto the ground against the wall under the window as if he had just passed out. "Come on out... Let's see how heartless these bandits really are..." He was still ready to keep moving the unconscious stallion if needed, but he was more alert to whether or not his next bait would work.

All the guards had their attention upon the pony that had just came in. The Big pony looked suspiciously at the guy. "Hey, answer me will yah?" he would walk up to the pony just after that pony had set the bag down and then collapsed. "Oi?!" he ran to try and catch that pony before he hit the ground.

The other guards watched from their distance, their first instinct was to lift their gun's to attention.

some of the captured innocents flinched when they saw the guard's raising their guns a couple of them whimpering and on the verge of tears.

Part of his plan had worked, now it was time to get a bit more bold with his ideas. The first thing he did was to slowly have the knocked out comrade 'react' to being caught. The gaze was kept downwards, but the arm slowly held onto the big stallion's back. Then of course, came the really bold idea as he slowly had the stallion rise up while holding onto the big one, before making him hold his partner just a wee bit too intimately with slow caresses, and then full on frisking and groping while pushing against him, seemingly nuzzling his chest quite wantingly.

Sugary had no intention of letting the big stallion let go of the partner, even if that meant strengthening his hold on the body with extra force on the limbs. His intention either way relied that they both move back to the sliding door, or at least the wall next to it, so as to then make it seem like it was one of them that closed it. If he got that far, with relative ease, he'd use his telekinesis to keep the door closed with extra force if either of the others thought to help right away. He just needed to make sure none could see his actions well during the act nor interfere while trying to catch the big one off guard now...

The big pony had caught his 'partner' before he fell, but immediately regretted his decision when the pony started to get a bit to intimate, which caused a knee-jerking kind of reaction from the big pony who would push away the pony. "What the buck get the hell off me!" As he was pushing the unconscious pony off of him, at least trying too, he was moving back away from where the pony put the loot down and away from the sliding door.

If this did not succeed in making the unconscious pony release the big pony, but no matter the decision the other two in the back had their guns aimed at the unconsious pony.

Sugary wasn't done yet even if the bigger stallion fought against his intended direction; All he needed to do was to at least move them onto the side of the door where it could slide from. If the others were watching, he just had to be quick on getting the others out of their line of sight.

It was a rough maneuver, but with extra telekinetic force, he made his 'puppet' move back a bit from the sudden jerk while still holding on, and leap forward with his whole body at the larger stallion along with help from Sugary. Only those who were being incredibly keen with their eyes might think the smaller stallion had a bit too much force going for him as he took the other stallion with him to the ground. But hopefully, the others were more distracted by the fact one of their own was suddenly seemingly being rather eager to show intimate affection for another of their own. Perhaps it would be more convincing for them to think that, as Sugary did make sure the stallion kissed the larger one mid leap, which might also help to keep the other from yelling as much. He felt a twinge of guilt at forcing them together like that, but it was brief since they were holding innocent lives at their whim, so he had no qualms about playing with them while he could so long as he achieved his goal. He did, of course, try his best to keep the stallion from being in the weapons line of sight, as he would go for non-lethal measures as much as possible, unless he just plain had no other choice.

It wasn't absolutely necessary that they both landed right by the sliding door either, just close enough to the wall so that he had an excuse to 'shut the door due to shock and desperation' himself the instant they hit the ground. But even he could only keep the door closed for so long before the others got too keen there was more than just an odd set if circumstances happening to them. He was more than ready to cast the same sleep spell he used before to knock out the large stallion the moment he touched the floor. He'd even make use of his 'puppet' for extra restraint if needed as he placed both arms with the spell on the stallion's face and body...

If all truly had gone well, he'd immediately let the door slide without issue if any of the others had tried to open it... only to be met with the sight of two of their own cuddling and kissing sloppily on the ground without a care in the world, with Sugary standing right by them still to keep an eye on things. Because even if he took two down, that still left two more armed and wary foes.

With the direction that the bigger pony was moving, he did struggle against the extra force that was attempting to pull him, though it didn't help that Sugary had the pony pull back and then leap foreword, because in that motion, aside from the bigger pony bucking off the ground to move away, her also punched the 'puppet' as he fell onto his back even further away. Making sure his arm was in the way of the 'puppets' face and his own. "Hey! Get the buck off me!" He yelled as he kept struggling.

One of the other guards pointed his gun upward and he shot his gun. "Hey! You two stop bucking around? If you don't stop this, I won't hesitate to shoot both of you." He snarled. That gunfire, of course startled the other guard, the bigger pony, and scared the captured civilians.

Kimi, on the rooftop flinched slightly at the sound and she bit her lip and shook her head, she moved further ahead on the car to get to the other side to the door that was on the opposite side of where Sugary was. She would drop down from the rooftop and land on the floor there and kept squatted so as not to show up through the window of the door. Thankfully these doors weren't automatic doors so they stayed closed even if she was standing just on the other side of them. He pressed one hand on the floor and the other on the door returning to feeling the vibrations of the car and seeing the outline of everything within.

With all the commotion going on, Sugary merely needed to move quickly after the fallen stallion as his steps would hardly be heard all that much with the train itself still going as well, and grasp from an angle where the arm wasn't in the way while the puppet and his telekinesis kept him very distracted. There should be no further issues in the effort to grasp the stallion's mouth hard with one hand to shut him up and get him to sleep, while the other one was ready to block for him if the stallion still retaliated...

Unfortunately, a shot went off, and now his method was becoming a chore to keep up. Getting two of them was a minor comfort when all it took was a single shot to harm an innocent life. Two armed stallions was enough to take many lives still, and still left the orchestrator too. "I hope she didn't hear the shot... And Kimi, where the hell are you!?" Now he had a different objective aside from just making stallion's sleep. It all depended on whether or not another would come out of the room. He was counting on that...

The big pony attempted to say something the moment he felt the invisible hand upon his mouth and he struggled against it too even after the shot went off. The guard that had shot his gun didn't look happy and the other guard that was slightly behind him looked worried.

The worried guard spoke up. "Woah, hold it, relax, no need to kill anyone. This was suppose to be a clean job."

The angered pony without looking to the worried pony responded. "Clean? Ha, they must have lied to you. Look I dunno what she told you, but we have a job to do and if anyone gets in our way, we take them out. simple as that, even if those are our own." He would point the gun in the direction of the big pony and the 'puppet' pony.

Kimi would see how the situation was looking and she would sigh. Seems like things were going to become complicated. She needed to get in there before it got any worse. So what she would do was quite simple. She slammed the door open to grab the attention of the two guards and lift her hand in their direction, from her sleeves a hoard of snakes fired out at them all aiming to bite the two guards. Whether it succeeded or not in actually biting them was a different story as her main purpose was to grab their attention and provide Sugary his opening.

For a brief moment, Sugary felt genuine relief that Kimi had shown up to work along with him regardless of how sudden her appearance was. As much as he would have liked an explanation from her about what she'd seen, there was no time nor was it the proper place. It also didn't leave much room for thought as she was preparing for something the moment she raised her hand with her chakra within acting in a fashion he was not intimately familiar with, but still recognizable for him. "She's conjuri- Wait! A Summoning!? Here!?"

While concerned about how the summoning and the bandits might all act in a small space along with hostages, he didn't hesitate to follow along with her tactical approach as it was do or die with her prompt. The instant the bandits turned around, he conjured all four of his shields to make a small wall of steel with them, and quickly spread them from behind them to protect the hostages and himself from any stray bullets. The shields weren't exactly bulletproof, but they were still thick steel and should hold well for the brevity of the situation if someone opened fire upon them.

If he got the timing just right, the brief flash of the shields and towels, and wave of snakes, ought to confuse them enough to really distract them from the towels being magically launched right at them from above. He'd make use of the towels to try to wrap them around the weapons, and pry them away from their grip or their reach. He figured that if he couldn't affect the weapons directly with magic well, he'd try to manipulate things around them instead. Even if torn by bullets, the towels should still be manageable enough to serve well if even as improvised nets.

Depending on where they ultimately aimed though, he'd either keep the shields constantly protecting the crowd, or have them all pressed against the duo hard in the event they overtook the snake summoning somehow, so that Kimi would have success in her own attempt. Either way, he'd make sure they were pinned one way or another along with her to subdue them and render them harmless.

The distraction proved a success as the bandits had turned their attention to Kimi. This gave Sugary the opening he needed to do whatever he pleased. The bandits were surprised by the sudden burst of snaked flying out at them. They barely had time to register who it was that fired at them before bullets were being fired off, though, thankfully Sugary had managed to get his towels wrapped around the guns and managed to pry them out of their hands after a few shots got off. Bullets embedding themselves into the walls of the car.

A couple of the snakes were shot and fell to the ground and then disappeared in a puff of smoke. With all this confusion that hit the bandits, they were swarmed by the snakes that were still alive and were bitten in various spots all over their body. With the snakes latched, they would inject the bandits with poison. After a moment of so, Kimi released them from the snakes grasps and all the snakes returned to her and slithered back into her arm sleeves.

Once he deemed the area secure enough, Sugary conjured a pair of bright red shorts from the Inventory which briefly floated empty in the air before he hopped into them, and then revealed himself at last, looking a bit exasperated considering who else nearly got shot at. "Ugh... And there's still more to deal with... But it can't be helped... And that summoning is definitely... different..." He debated either tending to the hostages, talking to Kimi, or interrogating the injured and bitten pair of bandits as he put the shields away where they belonged and kept the gun bearing towels in mid-air away from anyone's immediate reach other than his own.

When he remembered the bites were from snakes, he looked upon the injured pair and Kimi with concern. "Hey, glad you showed up, but was that attack just now poisonous...? And is there anything vital I should know about?" Immediately after, for good measure, he spoke to the bandits. "And you two start talking! Where's your boss!?" Asking right away would let him know just how conscious or coherent the bandits were, as well as to finally know what had happened while Kimi was observing from above. He'd deal with the hostages in due time as he could see well enough so far that none of them were injured, which was a relief.

Kimi would stare at Sugary who appeared out of no where. She would tilt her head and shrug her shoulders. "Yes, they should be dead soon." she stated without an inkling of care. Her eyes glanced over to the hostages that she could see. Thankfully none of them were hurt. Her tongue slithered from her mouth quickly and then disappeared.

The effects of the poison could be noted as the ponies couldn't move, or rather they moved extremely slowly, and started to heavily sweat, their eyes dilating. Over the course of few minutes, they would start to struggle, foam at the mouth and convulse, so they would highly likely die if an antidote wasn't given to them immediately.

Kimi walked over to the nearest wall and leaned against it. "We should keep moving soon. I can leave a kage bunshin behind to untie the hostages and keep them safe." by Kage bunshin, she meant a clone, just like she had done before. "There isn't anyone in the next car over, but there are traps, from what I could tell, some sort of trip wire traps." At least that's what she was able to see from the time she was on top of and using her sensory abilities to look further ahead. She couldn't look too far because she was still keeping most of her focus to making sure Sugary was alright.

Sugary understood full well what Kimi had said from beginning to end, but he was of course mildly bothered by the fact she so casually admitted to the poison being of the particularly deadly kind. "I getcha, but come on, deadly!?" It was at that moment that Sugary focused on another spell as his horn began to glow a soft white, hands glowing along with it as he pressed up against the chests of the bandits. While he was fairly sure none of the other passengers were particularly happy to see two stallions convulsing any more than he was, he had a much more important reason for wanting to save them if he could as he began to pour the spell into their bodies to try and neutralize the poison depending on its potency. He couldn't immediately undo the damages, but he could at least try to stop it from getting worse and prevent lives from being lost.

He spoke to Kimi as he focused on the emergency task, while trying to remember what was so familiar about the words she had said to him that seemed remotely similar to what he knew of her kind. "Bunshin... A... double...? I see... Listen, Lotus. I'd like to ask you to please go on ahead for now. I'll try to catch up quickly, I promise. I'll remember there's traps, but I just can't let this be. Please understand." There was a complete lack of doubt in his voice. He didn't think she would protest his actions, but he'd remain adamant about his decision if anyone questioned him as he also kept his ears sharp. He hadn't forgotten more danger could show up at any time.

Kimi would only tilt her head, not seeing her course of action as being wrong. She does come from a different world where it's kill or be killed after all. She watched as he began to perform some sort of spell, she presumed something to try and counteract the poison within them. Given that it was a magical spell, it would be able to have some type of effect upon the poison within them.

She would nod her head to his comment about the double, she would look him over seeing how bothered her was about this. "Understood." she stated as she would turn away from Market, as she did so a puff of smoke appeared next to her and a kage bunshin of her stood there. "I'll leave this kage bunshin here. She'll help with untying the passengers."

Kimi herself would head toward's the door she came out of. "Hmm...I'll make an attempt not to kill, but no guarantee." With that she would disappear in a blur.

The clone would look at Sugary and shake her head. "I'll start untying the hostages, while you do that." she would move past Sugary and go to the hostages with a gentle smile. "Don't worry everyone, we're here to help."

Sugary didn't think Kimi would pull her punches much, but that didn't keep him from smiling weakly as she left her double. "Thanks. That's all I could ask for..." He also traced the feel of the air as she did what she did. It was all still a new experience with each technique she did near him. It felt familiar, and yet vastly different. Trying to tell what was similar and what was different was becoming a bit of a guilty pleasure for him in terms of curiosity, but he only had so much curiosity to spare as he focused on the situation. Even so, he was vastly fascinated with the double. He knew of spells for making illusions, creatures that could multiply in some cases, and doppelganger beings and hexes. But nothing he had ever seen matched properly what the double was doing. It was virtually acting like it was quite alive for what it was in the way it delicately acted and spoke with the others. He had not seen anything like it first hand.

Only when he was done with treating the poison as the bandits showed less and less signs of being afflicted till nothing was left of the poison, did he finally move onto casting a minor healing spell instead to close their bite wounds to avoid further loss of unharmed blood, and further aid their chances at survival. "Um... Lotus? Mind giving me some of those bindings and help me tie up these 4 troublemakers?" He didn't actually expect the double to be that coherent so as to follow his own requests, but if she was that responsive, he would be pleasantly surprised and impressed. He'd also ask for the hostages to share what they could if any were up to talking. "Say, any of you think you can share what you've seen and heard from the bandits here before they started getting taken out? Please, any bit of info. will do." He'd try to proceed towards tying the bandits up quickly, with or without help, as he waited for an answer while making sure the weapons kept out of their reach at all times and searched their pockets for anything suspicious for good measure...

When Kimi disappeared in a blur, the air rushed in for a moment, giving proof that is wasn't something magical, nor her chakra put into her movements.

The bunshin, the clone, henceforth called Kimi, was helping untie the hostages. Some were amazed at the clone and others were very grateful that they were being helped. When Sugary called her, she would look back and nod her head. "Sure, one moment." she stated as she had finished untying the fourth hostage and took the binding over to Sugary to help him tie up the bandits. Once they were tied up she would return back to untying the rest of the hostages.

A couple of the hostages shook their head, not really sure what to say to Sugary. "I'm sorry, we didn't hear anything except that they wanted us to hand over our belongings." A couple others would think trying to remember everything that had happened.

The two bandits that had been saved from death, were too out of it to be able to come up with a coherent thought as a side effect of the poison's damage that had already been done and the other two had been under Sugary's sleeping spell.

A colt would speak up. "Ummm...I know that they said their boss was a mare. And they said something about several groups and...ummm what was it..." he would rub his wrists as they had hurt from the bindings. "Something about runic markings protecting against magic."

Sugary didn't often find works of art during missions, but Kimi's double was one such rarity at the moment. He knew for sure it wasn't her, nor did it have even close to the same amount of lifeforce as the original, and yet it was fully interactive and responsive as a real being as far as he could tell. He pondered if there was any relation between the behavior of the double, and Kimi's actual self as well, but he'd save that thought for later. All he knew was that he was that much more fascinated by her ways.

While listening to the hostages, he groaned mildly, but wasn't too heavily surprised of there being a few more bandits. "I see. Thank you..." What really bothered him was the runes though, as that meant he either used extra force to beat them and their runes down -which he knew was dangerous and crude to say the least-, use of tools for injuring more methodically, rely on more tactics such as with the towels, or he tried to rely on their own strength against them as he moved over to the weapons he obtained, and grabbed one of them to inspect them. He wasn't an expert at fire arms, but he at least knew how to work one in the technical aspect. "Not really the man with the machine gun type, but... Can I use this...? Hm..." He carefully tinkered with one as he took it with him, and decided to share the others with the rest. "Say, if any of you know how to use one of these, you're welcome to them. You can stay here and defend yourselves with them if you like, but I advice against going gung ho if you're not used to stuff like this."

He then brought what remained of the towels back into the Inventory, as well as any spare bindings he could get for good measure for a similar purpose while urging the double to come with him, though he did recall Kimi only left it there for the sake of helping, so he thought to speak to it once more in case it was meant to exist for a limited time. "Lotus, can you tell me how the other you is doing? She's not in trouble yet is she?" He hadn't heard anything go off yet, so he assumed Kimi was doing fine up till now.
