Beyond the Looking Glass [Private]

"SHUT IT DOWN!" Her voice rang as an explosive amount of chakra erupted in the secluded underground laboratory in Tea Country. A scientist responded back to the porcelain skinned woman. "We can't it's going out of control. The console's shot. If this goes on any longer it's going to cause catastrophic consequences on not only us, but the whole village as well." The porcelain skinned women only sucked her teeth and she frowned as she walked closer to the gigantic glass panel that rippled with enormous amounts of chakra. Some of the scientists watched as she moved closer, others rather about trying to figure out ways to shut the power off.

Her hands came together and energy began to swirl around her. "Everyone is going to have to escape, I'll handle thing's from here." Another women stepped foreword, she was about as tall as the porcelain skinned woman. "I can't have you do that, Kimi!"

Kimi turned her head back and smirked looking at her assistant. "Yasmin, I'm going to need to you take care of things here, especially my children." Yasmin moved in closer trying to stop Kimi, but Kimi only pushed her back with little effort. "Don't think about it, get back and retreat. This is an order!" As Yasmin was pushed back, Kimi's energy erupted and formed a bubble that expanded towards the gigantic glass panel and surrounded around it. Yasmin tried to rush in quickly, but she wasn't fast enough and hit the barrier's wall. She began to bang on it while yelling. "You can't do this! We need you here! Your kid's need you!"

Kimi frowned upon hearing that and looked back at Yasmin. She didn't say a word, but she knew it that Yasmin was right about one thing; Her kids needed her. Kimi looked toward's the glass panel, which looked as if it were going to go critical, and she brought her hands together and formed several handseals. "Take care of them until I get back."

That was the last thing that was said between Kimi and Yasmin before the room erupted in a bright flash of light and when everyone had recovered their vision, the glass panel was shattered and Kimi was gone.

~Hay Seed Swamp ~

Hay Seed Swamp located in the south eastern region of Equestria just South of Baltimare. This was a particularly dangerous swamp due to it's location near the Badlands and it's close proximity to where the dragon's reside. Usually many young dragon's have been seen wandering throughout the Hayseed Swamps, though they were located more towards the southern section of the swamp rather than the central or northern section, but that didn't mean they didn't show up there from time to time.

It was mid-day, the sun was high in the dark. It was extremely humid and bug's flew about like no one's business. For the moment the swamp was as normal as it's always been, the various creatures that lived here going about their day; gators, bugs, birds, dragons, phoenixs, etc. Though in the next moment the skies above the hayseed swamp turned dark and coming from around the central area of the swamp an enormous and immensely bright light exploded and floated in the area.

The air itself tore open and light grew stronger the energy that just shot off from it was capable of being sensed very easily by those with magical abilities. Though for the moment that it was open, it soon shut itself afterwards, what was left behind was a body. It was thrown from the hole and hit against a tree and fell against the floor onto it's side. It's coat as white as snow, with various marking's upon the body; the neck area and the legs. A Short cut tail and a messy head of hair. Long fluffy ears and for the moment on the flank nothing had appeared.

Any sign or proof that something had occurred here in the Hayseed swamp was gone as quickly as it had arrived. Though it were entirely possible that the energy that had been felt by any magical creatures could have pin pointed the direction it came from. If anyone had a clear view of the hayseed swamp and had been looking at the time would have been able to notice the bright light that flashed in the sky. For now however, hour's had pasted and an entire day had passed.

On top of a cloud, a tan pegasus was whistling something rather upbeat. The pegasus was looking down at Hayseed Swamp through some binoculars, not wanting to get spotted by any dragons. He moved the binoculars away from his eyes to look around the sky. He put away the binoculars in his saddle bags and adjusted his black desperado hat a little, standing up on the cloud he was laying on.

Dark Wing had come to Hayseed Swamp to look around a little, having had some off time to go traveling once more. He had equipped himself with only a canteen, some paper and a pen, and his goggles and bandanna. He placed his aviator goggles back over his eyes, having taken them off to look through the binoculars. He stretch a little before unfurling his wings to take off towards Baltimare.

Dark had to shut his eyes and throw his hooves over his eyes when he was suddenly blinded by a bright light. He sat on the cloud for a few moments before moving his forehooves away from his face and blinking a few times just to make sure he wasn't blind. "Augh..." He pushed his goggles up a little and rubbed his eyes. "What dah hell was that...?" He muttered to himself, putting his goggles back over his eyes. His eyes quickly scanned the skies for anything, but saw just the clouds and birds.

He quietly hummed to himself and moved his gaze over the edge of his cloud, scanning the ground. His eyes scanned the swamp and treetops, hoping to maybe see what cause the bright light. He was almost about to turn and fly back to Baltimare when he caught a glimpse of something white against the murky green of the swamp. He lifted a hoof and rubbed his muzzle for a moment before unfurling his wings and jumping off of his cloud.

He glided down to the white he had saw from his spot in the sky. As he got closer, he could make the white out as a body. He landed a fare distance away from the body and looked at it with a raised eyebrow. He looked around the swamp and tried to figure out how this body came to be here... Teleportation? Unicorns can teleport... He thought to himself, walking closer to the body. He looked around for a stick or something long so that he could poke it with. When he found one, he gently poked it and waited for a reaction.

What would be noticeable would be the fact that the body laying there wasn't a unicorn. Just from appearance one could say it was an earth pony. This pegasus that had come down to see what it was and had begun to poke it with a stick awaiting a reaction would receive...nothing. At least not for the moment. the body just laid there on it's side, her chest rising and falling very slowly. Clearly this pony was unconscious. What was interesting was, if one would notice the underside of this pony's hooves, they would see that the underside was different than that of a regular pony, like a pony's hoof underside it shared it's resemblance except that it has scales shaped out on it, similar to that of a snakes.

While the bright flash had also scared off many animals in the area, it also warranted the attraction of those with high intelligence and cursed with gift of curiosity. For the moment though nothing was around except for Dark Wing and the unconscious pony. Now what creature could still be around that wasn't frightened off by a bright flash like everything else?

Dark Wing poked the pony a few more times with the stick before throwing it behind him. He looked over the body for a few moments. "A mare...Dayum..." He muttered, glancing around. He debated what to do with the unconscious mare...Take her to Baltimare...or leave her there. He let out a sigh and shook his head a little. "Maybe she'll wake up on dah way t' Baltimare..." He muttered to himself, walking over to the mare and making sure she was on her stomach before carefully lifting her onto his back. His wings ruffled a little, a bit sad he wouldn't be flying back to Baltimare.

Dark made sure the mare wouldn't just fall off his back when he started walking before heading in the direction of Baltimare. He started to whistle something upbeat once more. Now he just needed to figure out what to do with the mare once he gets to Baltimare...His whistling stopped and was replaced with a hmm as he thought of what to do. He could take her to the hospital...that one seems reasonable...

Consciousness was slowly returning to the unconscious mare as she was being carried. Though she didn't react or move and just ran things in her mind. W-what happened...W-where am i? For now though the sounds to her just sounded muffled as she wasn't sure if she was hearing things correctly or not. Her head also felt rather heavy and hazy. There was something different and she wasn't quite sure just what it was. The rocking motion of being carried, something hard, but at the same time soft against her belly. What was it? She couldn't identify it at the moment. She didn't hear any voices either so there wasn't a company of people either.

For the moment she didn't even feel any hostility, though she couldn't allow her guard to be dropped, but it was so difficult with how her senses have been rocked about. Well chances needed to be taken and she preferred to be on her own two feet. "Oh....my head..." her voice came out very softly, and smooth like honey. She lifted her front hoof slowly and touched against her head. Though this was when a realization came to her. Where are her fingers? her eyes immediately shot open and the world around her was suddenly brighter, but her eyes quickly adjusted and focused, though to her surprise she found herself with a wider view, only needing to shift her snake slit pink eyes over as she stared at her once hand, now hoof.

"W-what...?"

Dark stopped walking and looked at the mare on his back as she said something. He watched her touch her head then look at her...hoof... Why was this mare looking at her hoof? To...make sure it was alright? He tilted his head a little, coughing once. "Ah see yer awake...Are ya alright?" He asked with a raised eyebrow. Maybe he could get a few answers out of the mare, like how did she get here? Maybe? He glanced around the area for any dragons...or anything that might attack both of them. He didn't want to deal with any of that right now since a) he had a mare on his back and b) he had a mare on his back.

He turned his gaze back to the now conscious mare. "Erm...Maybe ya can tell me how ya got in the middle of Hayseed Swamp...? Ah'm pretty sure ya weren't there an hour ago...few minutes ago...Somethin' like that." He looked at here eyes and noticed they were...pink...and snack slit...And maybe he was just oblivious as heck earlier, but he also just noticed her long fluffy ears. He blinked once through his goggles. He gave her a slight smile, fidgeting a little.

Her focuses shifted from her hoof to the pegasus that spoke. Did that horse just speak? Was a thought that crossed her mind as she felt like her mind was just moving slow and things were coming at her at a snails pace to being able to recognized. It an instant she pushed herself off the pegasus and took some air before she landed on the ground several feet away from him. Though she didn't land gracefully as she hadn't noticed that her body had gone through a full transformation so when she did land on her hind hooves she fell over backwards and rolled a moment before stopping on her belly.

She was utterly confused as to what went wrong, she normally was capable of landing such a feat with ease, but there was something different about her now, but at the moment she couldn't really see herself. While she already had a high acute senses to begin with, now her senses shot even stronger and the smell and taste of the area struck her like a speeding truck. She felt herself getting dizzy. "Oh god what's that smell?" Well a swamp was still a swamp and it didn't always smell pleasant, but this wasn't simply just a case of bad smells, it was a case of new and multiple smells hitting her all at once.

She shook her head and turned her focus towards Dark and her tongue very quickly slithered from her mouth and then back inside, where she brought her hooves to cover her muzzle and a disgusted look appeared on her face. She slowly rose up, though ended up rising onto her hand legs and squatted while holding her front hooves in front of her face. She had to keep her cool somehow, but at the same time, she needed to at least move to an area that didn't have so many smells. "Take me to the nearest town." she demanded.

Dark stared at the mare's...antics... He couldn't help but tilt his head more to the side with confusion. Did she just try t' land on her hindlegs? He thought to himself before shacking his head and thinking that was a silly idea. When she asked her question about the smell...he couldn't help but laugh a little. "Yer in a swamp. It's gonna smell." He rolled his eyes, reaching into his saddle bags and pulling out his ballistic knife with his mouth. He then held it in one of his forehooves for a moment, unfurling his wings and flying in a low hover.

He tossed his knife in the air a few times while looking at the mare. He also rubbed his muzzle with his other forehoof. "Well where do ya think I was heading when ya were unconscious? The ocean? Heheh." He stopped tossing his knife and flew in the direction he was pretty sure was Baltimare. He kept the mare in the corner of his eyes as he flew though. Ya'd think she'd know the nearest city would be Baltimare...since ah did say Hayseed Swamp... He shook his head a little and sighed. He was gonna need some questions answered when they do get to Baltimare. For now, he can use his knife to probably protect against dragons (though he really doubted it) and maybe any other thing that might attack them. He chose that time to start whistling again.

She felt confused more than tense seeing a horse, well to be correct a pony, pull out a knife. Her eyes narrowed in on the knife when the pegasus took flight. It can fly? It's a pegasus? She was confused by this pony's appearance, that and the fact that it could speak, but eventually she'll get her answers, for now she'd just have to go along with it. So she was in a swamp, but where exactly was there a swamp with talking ponies? Last she had recalled she was at him in her village. Her senses were starting to catch up to herself, but she still held this sickening feeling due to the strong smell's that she had just not quite yet gotten use to. Well it's not like she hadn't experienced such a thing, but with her heightened senses increased even further with this new biology it was something new she needed to get use to.

She looked down and noticed her legs had also been changed to hooves as well. This brought up several questions, but right now she needed to hold back her questioning nature and get to a better location where the smell's aren't quite so putrid. From the looks of it she was quadrupedal, so there was a change done to her body. Guess her priority not was to get to a mirror as soon as possible and then go from there. She carefully rose onto her hooves and then got onto her front hooves as well. She looked at the ground around her and then up at the pegasus that was floating away from her.

She did feel a bit hesitant as she wasn't all too familiar with moving in this manner, but she figured that it was in the same manner which her pet moved. She took a few steps and ended up tripping over her own hooves and face planted into the ground.

Dark's ears swiveled backwards as he heard the mare fall. He stopped in midair and turned around to look at the mare. He looked around the mare, trying to figure out how she could have done that. Tree roots? Rocks? Dirt? ...Seeing a handsome pegasus like himself? He had to mental slap himself for that last one and facehoofed. He took a deep breath and shook his head a little. "Do ya...er...need help?" He asked, trying to be helpful. He scratched the back of his neck with his free hoof.

He put away his knife and landed down next to the mare. He looked down at her with a raised eyebrown and a head tilt. "Also...Can ah ask how ya fell?" Okay...He finally made up his mind as to what to do with this mare when they get to Baltimare, head straight for the hospital. Maybe she hit her head? Possibly? He thought, mentally slapping himself again, not wanting to jump to any conclusions.

She was a bit annoyed by this and grumbled to herself. Not exactly use to being on all fours like this she adjusted herself and spat out the dirt that got into her mouth. Hearing his question she shook her head as she rose back up to her hooves. "No, I'll figure it out..." She stated as she looked down at her hooves. Did she turn into a pony? She could only sigh as her assumptions as she couldn't exactly be certain. She looked visible bothered by this as she lifted a hoof and looked at it. The underside's of her hoof were different from a normal pony's hooves, she also used it to sense things in the area with it, similar to the underside of a snakes body.

"I'm not exactly...use to this." was the only way that she could put it. What else could she say? It's not like she knew exactly what happened and until she got out of here and let her mind relax she wouldn't know what to say exactly. "I think I got it this time." she stated as she put her hoof down and took a moment and individually lifted a leg and then placed it back down in the same spot. "This surely has to be uncomfortable..." she mumbled as she began to take another few steps and found herself wobbling, but she didn't fall over this time.

"Mmm...Alright." Dark said, stepping back and giving her space. Now he was even more confused. Figure what out? Trotting? He could only guess that and that only helped his thought that she may have hit her head...hard if she doesn't know how to walk. He sighed and shook that thought out of his head. He started to make a mental list of things to do, the top one on that list was get this mare to a hospital. He hummed quietly to himself while he waited for the mare to...actually walk somewhere. He adjusted his goggles a little as he quietly looked around.

He turned back to the mare. "Not used t'...Trotting?" He asked, taking a seat on the ground. He kind figured he might as well sit and wait till the mare was actually trotting somewhere before he'd lead her to Baltimare. He tapped his hooves against the ground as he watched the mare trying to walk. "That's new...Never heard walkin' was uncomfortable." He muttered quietly to himself, looking around the area again. At the corner of his eyes, he watched the mare wobble a bit. Well...She's gettin' better...Still gotta wonder what happened...

It was difficult for her to suddenly get use to this body on the spot whilst being swarmed with new things that are constantly barraging her senses. On top of that, her head was still quite sore from when she crashed into the tree earlier after being rocketed through that portal and spat out after expending a massive energy output and feeling an explosion as well, to say the least, she was no where near her peak performance. "I'm more comfortable with standing straight up."

Her walking was getting better and soon she was no longer wobbling. "That'll take some getting use too." she stopped walking and glanced back towards Dark Wing who was sitting on the ground looking around. "So where are we heading too?" She felt many vibration's going on through her feet and got a good sense of what was still in the area.

Further in the distance south of their location there was something floating through the air watching there. It was hidden from sight pretty well. It was watching both Dark Wing and Kimi from it's hiding spot. It licked it's beak and grinned a huge fanged grin.

Dark looked up at her and gave her a small smile. "Hopefully ya don't trip over yerself if a dragon comes..." He said, standing up and turning towards the direction of Baltimare. "As t' where we're headin', we're headin' t' Baltimare." He unfurled his wings again and hovered forward with a whistle. He reached into his saddlebags and pulled out his knife again, thinking now that he's said something about a dragon something is going to show up and ruin his day...even more then it already has. Well, he guessed his day wasn't that ruined. It was more or less unexpected.

He glanced around for any dangers that might lurk in the swamps. He didn't quite catch the something that was floating south of them, since they were heading north and he was looking north. Now he just needed to get this mare all the way to Baltimare and he could get out of the swamps. Maybe add more details to his dad's map. He let out a long deep sigh. "Hmm...Miss? This might not be the best o' times to ask this but, how did ya get to Hayseed Swamps of all places in Equestria? ...Ya can ignore the question if ya want..." He said in a quiet and soft tone.

She hadn't noticed anything even though she was looking south, well specifically she was looking at the pegasus rather than looking behind him. Kimi watched Dark as he took to hovering, she slightly tilted her head and wondered why he did that rather than walking, but she said nothing of it and just watched him until he moved ahead of her and she just walked after him following his lead to this...Baltimare. She never heard of such a place. She was certain she had bee all around the different continents and islands for the multitudes of missions and not that she can recall from her scrolls either the name Baltimare. Was is a new country that she had found herself in?

But that didn't explain why she herself was transformed against her will. As she followed after him, she pondered about the things he said, mostly concerning herself with the mention of dragons. There were dragons where she came from, though they were extremely rare to be seen outside of a summoner ninja summoning them in battle, but it seems like dragon's are here naturally.

Was this the realm of the dragons? If so that would place her in a bad spot as she knew about the nature energy that flooded those areas and was told that if failing in your training of handling such energies you'd be transformed into stone. But she wasn't turned to stone, maybe what was told to her was wrong? But at the same time it didn't really make sense, she didn't know of any hoofed dragon. Well one question piling up after another. "Accident." was her answer to his question.

The creature watched and bided it's time slowly and carefully moving closer and closer to his 'preys' This creature wasn't a dragon, but a kind of chimera that was composed of eagle wings, a lion's head, a second head that was of a dragon, and a snake for it's tail. It hovered quietly, similar to how Dark was hovering with his wings.

Dark twirled the knife in his hooves a little, humming quietly. He fidgeted with his hoof a little, hating how quiet the mare had just become. He looked behind him at her, looking over her again. Earth pony...Earth pony appearin' in the swamp...Earth pony havin' difficulty walking...Earth pony with snake eyes... He though, tapping his free hoof against his muzzle. "Ah can't believe ah left Ponyville fer this..." He muttered quietly to himself, sighing and shaking his head. He mentally sorted through a list of questions he would ask this mare when they go to where they were heading.

He glanced at the mare when she answered his question. He really had to wonder how an earth pony accidentally ended up in a swamp. His mind went back to teleportation spell...Then again, earth pony. He tried to racked his mind for some possible solution as to how she got here...Another pony teleported her? He shook his head to clear his thoughts. He thought of a closet door in his mind and opened the door to the closet. He then took all the thoughts of how this mare came to be here and shoved them in the closet. He then locked the door to said closet for later use. Hmm...That's batter. He smiled and started to whistle instead of hum.

Kimi eyed him as he kept twirling the knife in his hooves. It baffled her that such a creature was capable of twirling a knife in their hoof. Shouldn't one need fingers for such a feat? Did that mean she also held the same capabilities to do such a thing? Was she built in a similar way? Too many questions needing to be answered, but not the right place. It grew silent between them, a bit too silent and Kimi though she normally was fond of silence, didn't like it when there was too much of silence in an area she didn't know.

She didn't feel anything out of the blue through her snake traits. The vibration's in the area felt normal for the most part. Thing's weren't coming in their direction, well at least things that sent vibration's to the ground. Kimi for the most part tried not to use her snake-like tongue to sense more of the area for fear of being overwhelmed by the smell's and tastes of the area. It was as if all of her abilities had gone out of whack and weren't exactly regulated like they normally should be. It's as if this change in her body has even confused the energy flow within her and it was getting adjusted slowly to the new change.

"So where are we?" she started out, she spoke just loud enough for him to hear her. She didn't want to speak to loudly, mostly in fear of accidentally setting off a sound technique. "I mean...not here as in Hayseed Swamp, but...generally speaking in the overall landmass."

Still the beast stalked and waited, it mentally spoke amongst it's own heads chatting amongst themselves about the perfect opportunity to strike.

"Hmm?" Dark turned towards Kimi, flying backwards. He listened to her question and tapped his hoof against his muzzle. "Hmm....We're in Equestria." He said, eyeing her for a moment before looking around the area again. His ears swiveled a bit to try and hear any sounds. He turned back around so that he could actually see where he was flying and not hit a tree or anything. He was still oblivious of the beast that was stalking them.

He stopped in midair for a moment and turned to look at Kimi. "Ya...do know where Equestria is, right?" He said, tiling his head to the side. He crossed his forehooves over his chest, keeping the pointy end of his knife away from his face. He brought up the question because of how...confused this mare was. Ah swear if she asks more about where's where, ah'm gonna show her a damn map when we get to Baltimare. He though, shaking his head and sighing a tiny bit.

Equestria? She never heard of such a place. She could tell that she was being internally judged, but she didn't care. She was a shinobi, she didn't have time to worry about what others thought of her...well not anymore at least, she learned that the hard way. She continued to following him the further she had walked the quicker she had gotten use to this sort of movement. Basic shinobi training; observe in detail, retain and practice. She mentally noted to herself about how her leg's moved and what was available in her current motion. Thankfully she still felt a lot of her natural traits still within her. Her fangs, her sight, her tongue, the skin underneath her hooves, it was all still there. Seem like it was only a change to suit the environment? least that was her assumption.

Her eyes shifted to Dark who had stopped in mid-air. She had stopped as well and looked at him. She shook her head. "Not one bit." It was the truth she never heard of such a place. "Is that further over the western seas past the Land of Wind?" Of course she had named a country where she was from, but this would help her identify certain things.

The two ponies had stopped and seemed to be in a deep conversation. Any possible noises that could have been heard were tree leaves rustling, branches moving, it was entirely possible to guess that something was coming after them, but at the same time these were normal sounds that happen in the swamp all the time. The Heads of this chimera beast grinned. "Now." It jumped out from it's hiding spot and landed several feet away from the two ponies. The Dragon head erupted with a roar of flames to the sky and the lion's head unleashed a powerful roar. While the snake head slithered in between the two heads and spoke. "We can do thissss the easssy way or we can do thissss the hard way?" of course it meant to devour them.

Dark facehoofed and let out a long deep sigh. He really was going to have to give her a map wasn't he. He shook his head and looked at her. "Land o' Wind? Ah've never heard o' before, and ah'v traveled to the Griffin Kingdom and back. And ah'm fairly sure that all the maps ah'v seen of Equus there wasn't anything called Land of Wind." He said, letting his forehooves fall to his side. He was about to turn and continue flying towards Baltimare when a chimera landed near them.

He looked at the chimera for a moment, looking a little concerned about the dragon head. "Ah buck..." He muttered, He slowly put his knife away in his saddlebags. He landed next to Kimi, not taking his eyes off the chimera. "Ah'd rather not get eaten today. So...Hard way it is." He said, smiling at the chimera. He Quickly and gently grabbed Kimi and tossed her on his back. "Hold on tight!" He shouted, unfurling his wings and ran in the direction of Baltimare. He also quickly flapped his wings so he can fly above the trees and into the sky.

He gave one glance back at Kimi and flew as fast as he could. He also really hoped she was actually holding on. He really didn't need to deal with a chimera and a mare who just a few minutes ago faceplanted into the ground, trying to walk. By that, he guessed she wouldn't be in any state to run away. She might trip and fall after all and he didn't want that chimera getting any closer then it already was. Keep flyin', keep flyin'...If she falls...Well buck me t' tartarus. He thought, using one of his hooves to keep his hat from flying off.

Kimi arched a brow hearing about the Griffin Kingdom, another place she hadn't heard off, but she's heard the term Griffin before. Though it really was starting to add up as another plane of existence or someplace else entirely. This could be good or it could be really bad. Kimi had a couple thoughts racing in her mind as she gazed at the ground and raised a hoof to rub under her chin. She put her hoof down and sighed at the moment when the Chimera landed behind them. Her eyes widened in surprised from the massive vibration's that shot through her. Uggh...still too sensitive." She didn't looked pleased though and turned to face the Chimera.

Though she was more than ready to fight it, she was halted when Dark had lifted her up and tossed her onto his back and took off to the air. She looked at Dark and then back toward's the Chimera who only roared furiously. The snake head laughed a bit. "Perfect." The dragon head also snickered. "I like a good chase."

The chimera's eagle wings unfolded and it took off into the air after the two ponies. Kimi went wide eye seeing the creature. She had to think quickly on what to do, the Chimera could fly and it looked like it could fly pretty quickly. Though her other concern was also holding on. Just where should she grab? She wasn't entirely sure if she should bite his mane or what, so she did the next best thing and wrapped her fore-hooves around Dark's neck. She herself was accumulating energy within herself, though as she did so, she felt like something was extremely wrong about it like she was just straining to do it.

Dark didn't dare glance back to see how close the chimera was. He knew he wasn't the fast pony and knew it was probably catching up, but he needed to think of what to do. He couldn't out right fight the thing. That'll just end with him and Kimi being eaten. He scanned the ground below him as he flew. He started to mutter something about mines and explosives before shaking his head. "They ain't dumb enough to fly straight at a tripwire."

He felt the mare on his back holding around his neck and smiled. Knowing that she was actually holding on, he stopped in the air and dove towards the ground. He intended to dodge through the trees and maybe hide in a bush. He also though of setting up a bottle cap mine but pushed that thought out of his head. For now, he just needed to focus on flying and keeping Kimi from falling or getting thrown off his back.

He started to pant softly. "Buck me...Ah hate not being able to even fly at the average speed." He muttered to himself, growling a little. He pulled up so that he wasn't falling straight at the ground anymore, finding it a bit difficult with all the downward momentum. He grunted a little, flying closer to the ground now and being forced to fly to the side due to trees. He dared take a glance behind him to see how close the chimera was.

Well it was becoming apparent that they weren't going to be fairing all that well trying to run from the beast. She come to ponder if this pegasus even had a mean's for fighting against such a creature. It would be bad if they didn't, though she wasn't afraid for herself, even if she couldn't use her energy, she still had her natural strength. She needn't worry about getting to an enemy if they were already coming after her. She had been called a monster back where she came from for a reason, though would it be entirely wise decision to try it.

The energy within her felt heavy and strained as if she were trying to force open an extremely rusted valve to let water flow. What could she do to help out this poor pegasus, who seemed more concerned with keeping alive than actually fighting it. Wait...did he assume her to be helpless? They by now were heading down low using the tree's for cover to try and get some more distance between themselves and the beast.

She had amassed energy within herself, though it wasn't as much as she'd expect, but she was sure that it'd be more than enough to handle the situation. "Worry about yourself..." she stated as she purposely let go and like that she slipped right off of Dark Wing. Though unlike last time, she didn't fall and slip on her hooves. She dropped closer to the ground and rolled gracefully and turned in her roll so she'd be facing the Chimera beast that was breaking through the tree's with it's powerful claws. She slammed her hoof into the ground and skidded to a halt the ground where her hoof buried in broke under her strength.

The Chimera could only grin seeing that one of them had fallen off and was actually waiting for him. "What a fool!" "Ssssuch ssssuculencccce." Kimi eyed the beast with a stoic stare and rose a hoof. Unseen to their naked eyes, unless they had the ability to see internal energy or feel it, it would go unaware of the energy that was accumulating into her hoof and she shot it into the ground. Though as her hoof came in contact with the ground it just slipped in as if the ground itself separated for her, but soon the effects of what she had done would come into fruition as the Chimera beast came close and the ground all around them began to rise up and soon a massive explosion ruptured the ground.

The Chimera had been overwhelmed by the sudden explosion caught off guard unable to avoid the explosion. It caused a good amount of destruction in the area, rocks blasted up to the sky, tree's that were near by exploded in all directions. Dirt, shrapnel swamp water went everywhere. Dust covered the area for a while.

Dark panted as he flew. He'd have to make a note to self saying never to head to any place that is dangerous ever again. He was a bit confused as to what Kimi said, having to glance back at her before she slid off his back. "What?! N-." He turned back forward to make sure he didn't hit any trees. He spread his wings out wide to stop himself, quickly turning and looking at the mare. "What are ya..." He looked around quickly. Okay, what was he suppose to do in a situation like this? Was he suppose to get the mare out of the way of danger? Gah! He didn't know and he didn't have time to think of what to do.

He simply just hovered there and fidgeted a little. He mentally yelled at himself for not doing anything. He just looked as the Chimera got closer to her. Worry about yerself she says...Why...? He thought, keeping his eyes on Kimi. "What is it abou-..." He shut his mouth as the ground just suddenly exploded. He threw his hooves over his face to protect whatever wasn't under his goggles from getting hurt by the dirt and water. He used his free hoof to wipe his goggles clean and looked at Kimi. "...What...?" He tilted his head to the side and started at her.

He then remembered he should probably fly away from her a few more meters. The little closet in the back of his mind with all of his questions and curiosity bursted open. He now had even more questions to ask this mare. Later! He told himself, pushing the questions to the back of his mind. He looked at where the Chimera had been and wondered if it was still alive. It was probably alive so he readied his wings to fly in save the mare if he needed to.

Finally when the dust had cleared the scenery was shown. There was a new crater within Hayseed Swamp. Kimi stood in the center of it staring at a barely moving Chimera. It was laying on it's side, one of it's head a bloody mess due to the force of the rocks and the explosion that collided with it. The only head that seemed to have been okay was the dragon head. Though that was expected. "Guess that wasn't enough chakra..." she mumbled to herself as she didn't seem pleased that the Chimera had somewhat survived. Though at this point it didn't seem like it was going to get up anytime soon and come after her. Rather it wanted to get away from her.

"D-don't hurt us" the dragon head weakly begged as it slowly struggled to get onto it's legs. Kimi frowned looking at the creature. "You were the one chasing after us. You expect me to let you live now?"

The chimera whimpered and lowered it's head. "We were only hungry, please we'll go somewhere else." Kimi stared the beast down with a stoic look. She lifted her hoof and the Chimera flinched and Kimi could only sigh as she pointed behind the Chimera. "Go, before I change my mind."

The Chimera seemed happy, well as happy as it could get in the state that it was in. It flapped it's wing's as much as it could and struggled to get out of the crater. Kimi watched it take it's leave as she only shook her head and then looked at her hoof. "This doesn't feel right. Not enough chakra."
