It Takes All Kinds [private]

She nodded her head to what he stated as he entered into the room. Though his comment about the rain cloud's being used as part of the technology interested her and it even showed on her face. "The day was just another day. Good nor bad, just a day, but what do you mean by the rain cloud's being used for their machines?" back in her world they had different methods for acquiring water, but never did they use actual rain cloud's themselves. So it was possibly that these anthro ponies had technology that allowed them to manipulate the weather, much like how the shinobi's manipulate weather in some of their techniques? Admittedly so, it's not exactly a power that everyone has, only found in a rare small few that held that bloodline ability.

Sugary actually shot Kimi a lighthearted glare from his bed. "Hah! So it's a habit of you to pick on poor defenseless stallions like myself? But questionable social skills aside... What I mean is that the shower machine used actual clouds for a water source. Surely you saw them through the thick glass, right? Kinda hard to miss in that car. That's pegasi technology and ingenuity at work, of course that's nothing compared to their weather factories... And no, I'm not making that up, a lot of them really do have such factories. Best one should be in Cloudsdale if I recall."

Kimi would stare at Sugary and tilt her head and blink. Well it's true that she would bother random people in her village who appeared to be doing nothing whenever she had free time and was bored, but never did she actually bother horses. So it was a short process for her to understand what he meant. Though she figured she'd just respond to the other part of his dialogue. "That's fascinating to think such a thing possible." it gave her some ideas. I wonder if that could work back home. Need to keep note about looking into this much further. she thought to herself. "Cloudsdale, huh? Where's that at?"

Sugary thought for a moment as he made mental notes of where Cloudsdale was as he looked at the ceiling. "Well, for starters, Cloudsdale is very true to its name. It's a city in the clouds... Or rather, it's a city of clouds. So don't expect to find many wingless creatures there aside from unicorns, and even that's a stretch... As for where it is... I think it was north, north west of Ponyville... At least, that's where I last recall it was. Supposedly it drifts or gets moved sometimes..." He kept quiet for a bit, and then looked to Kimi with a subtle smile. "You know, I think I'm gonna enjoy traveling with you. Maybe I'll get to see you stare at things in awe once in a while, exploring a new place and all that." There was no guarantee of course, but he was an avid supporter of the mindset of how learning had the potential to be fun, and he was sure even Kimi could be surprised.

By this point in time the whistle for the train sounded off cuing for everyone to know that the train is starting to move and leave the station. It's vibration's could be felt throughout the train as it starts to come to life. It's movements starting out slow, but progressively increasing speed until it would reach it's optimal 'cruising' speed.

Kimi's ear's twitched to the whistling noise and her eyes shifted towards the ceiling before they shifted back towards Sugary. A city of cloud's huh..." she muttered as thoughts flowed into her mind. "This world just becomes more fascinating with every step. To think such a thing is possible." she stated as she looked toward's the door to their room.

Sugary hummed and nodded in agreement, not being the slightest bit bothered by the whistling. In fact, he reveled in it as it meant they were on their way, and that was just the way he wanted it. Nothing was gonna stop him from getting to his goal, and that was the mindset he was gonna keep till his goal. "Yeah, it's really something... Mmmmm... Now, got something else you wanna ask or *yawn* can I nap in peace now?" It was a simple enough question. He'd be coherent enough to talk some more, but would otherwise just rest on the spot and close his eyes if she let him be for the time being...

Kimi had shook her head to what he asked. "No, that's all. Nap well." she stated as she would bring her knees up to her chest and rest her chin on her knees as her eyes shifted over to the door. Kimi kept quiet, she was still under the effects of the pill that she had taken days ago, so sleep and hunger escaped her. The following morning should be a much better day as she'll be able to sleep and eat normally.

For now though, she would sit there and keep quiet as Sugary would nap.

Meanwhile with Al at the moment, she wasn't doing anything too suspicious. She was walking up and down the different car's eying the different rooms out of the corner of her eyes to see if she could spot where Sugary was located. Though she had started from near the front of the train, least where she was allowed to move to and worked her way back.

Not too long after the start of his nap, Sugary would rouse up reluctantly from his sleep at some point as he felt nature calling: The food and drinks, especially the apple juice, were now being done processed. He groaned groggily as he got up from his bed with a slightly grumpy look, not having wanted to get up at all just yet and just enjoy the nap, but there was no helping what needed to be done.

He grumbled as he barely acknowledged that Kimi was awake, but she seemed calm and quiet to him, so he didn't worry about her for now as he got to the door looking down a bit, long white mane flowing over much of his face and eyes, and as he opened the door, he let out a rather notable yawn without really looking anywhere in particular, barely even registering anyone passing by... Not even Al, if she happened to be right in front of or near him in the same car as he yawned and snorted towards the ground...

Kimi was playing cat's cradle with herself, except that she wasn't using any actual string. Barely using even the most miniscule of chakra, that sensing it would be comparable to sensing for a rubber band, that unless you actually knew what you were looking for you wouldn't really know that it was there. The output of chakra was so low for that very reason, it wasn't something that, at this output level, to be used in battle, but just for her own entertainment.

Kimi's eyes would occasionally shift between what she was doing and the door to their cabin. For now there was no threat, and to be honest, she was bothered by the lack of threats. Still highly accustomed to her world more so than this one, which seemed to be at peace with itself. She kept playing cat's cradle all the way until Sugary woke up again.

She didn't say anything however, her eyes just drifted to him at least to acknowledge that he was awake. She watched him as he moved from his bed to the door. Seeing his grumpy appearance, she watched him carefully, only to give a tiny smile as her eyes went back to her cat's cradle.

Al, had been moving down the car's at her own pace, with no real rush to it, but at the same time it was more so that she didn't want to come off as suspicious to the other ponies on the train. She dressed similar to how she had last time, except this time she had a form fitting trenchcoat that was white in color and it had a twin-tail bottom half so her tail could stick through, rather than it being one single piece and hiding her tail. Her coat lilac in color, her tail matching her long mane being green in color. Her rune markings her hidden from sight thanks to her trenchcoat as she always wore it buttoned closed.

This time she was also wearing a hat, a fedora angled down so it's wide brim would cover her face from ponies walking up to her, up until they were face to face with her that is. As she walked through the different cars, she finally entered the one that Kimi and Sugary were riding on, just at the same time which Sugary came out of his room. Al at first didn't notice until she had gotten much closer did she realize that it was Sugary again. Probably because of the bed head that she didn't recognize him immediately. Though she had quickly reacted with lowering her hat some more along with her head as she would continue through the car, hoping that Sugary hadn't noticed her as she walked passed. She would continue to walk past, Sugary, and then pass the room Kimi was sitting in.

Kimi was staring at her cat's cradle at the moment when Al passed by, so all she had noticed was a shadow quickly zooming passed the room that caused her to lift her head and look at the cabin door window. "hm?"

For a moment, Sugary looked over to Al as she passed onto the next car, and his mind was quick to come to a conclusion as he saw her from behind before she left his view. "... Nice hat." Indeed he thought her hat looked good, and actually often felt there was an odd charm to mares with stetsons and fedoras. He was also quick to notice she was quite tall and well built with her coat being form fitting, but had a hard time seeing her well with the clothing she wore beyond that. If only he knew that the mare he was now checkin-... admiring was the same one that gave him and Kimi trouble before.

Almost immediately afterwards, he felt goosebumps all over his body, as if he did something he shouldn't have. It was then his mind registered what was wrong... he still needed to go to the bathroom. And so he stepped rather quickly in the other direction as nature called, leaving the coast clear for the time being in the car...

Al continued on her way to the next car, the dining car, and she would take in deep breaths as she then glanced back through the door that separated the cars to see into the car she just left. Watching as Sugary continued on his way. She would then mumble to herself. "That was close." She didn't see the woman that he was with though, which could prove to be problematic to Al, but at least she knew which room and car Sugary was in. So the bigger question now was, what should she do? Well for now at least it's a little too early to start her plan, they needed to get further along before she could make her move. For now though, since she was in the dining car she would get something to eat.

Kimi had gotten bored with the cat's cradle and deactivated her chakra strings and yawned in a bored manner. She was now reflecting how peaceful this world was going to be. If she even remotely had a clue, she would have at least not taken the soldier pill, but what's done is done. For now Kimi would get up off the bed and stretch. Stretch out to keep her limbs nice and limber.

Having done his business, Sugary walked back calmly to the room he shared with Kimi. He still looked drowsy as he still wanted to just nap, but was at least less grumpy looking now when he knocked on the door just before entering. "I'm back...*mumble*" He paid closer attention to her this time as he once again lay down on the bed as she stretched. "... Feeling restless? If you want something to do... I could share something with you." He seemed somewhat thoughtful of what it was he'd give her if she decided to take up his offer, but mostly he just wanted to get back to rest and lay in peace.

She stopped in the middle of her stretching when Sugary had arrived back. She arched a brow after he had offered to share something with her. Tilting her head it showed her curiosity had grown. "Share something? What is it?" she asked as she sat down on her bed, sitting on it's edge with her legs together as her pink hues focused onto the stallion who tiredly laid in the other bed. There wasn't really much thing's for her to do, so anything would have been better than nothing, so she figured she would at least see what it is that he is willing to share with her.

Sugary was actually glad Kimi decided to accept his offer, but what really made the moment for him was how she now looked at him in much the way a child would be expecting a magician to perform a trick. Or at least, that's how it seemed to him in his sleepy state. Smiling just a tad bit, he made his decision and raised his arms straight up as he focused his Mana for his latest spell. "Good. Watch closely..."

It began with a simple Barrier he made with a light see-through yellow hue in the form of a large sphere that he held in his hands. He then compressed the barrier into a smaller size as he moved it around in a circular manner, around his wrists, the forearms, and even at one point or other making it roll over his chest until it was roughly the size of a basketball. Once he felt it was an adequate size, he then summoned a few other spherical objects from his Inventory and into the air above him to be held and float there for a moment: small colorful super bouncy rubber balls. "Add some Super Balls..."

One by one he placed them inside of the magical sphere and let them be held by gravity normally. It would be quite apparent that they were of great quality because if he so much as made a slight shake, the balls would fling all over inside the sphere wildly as he briefly entertained himself by spinning it within his grasp for a bit longer, even going so far as to toss it up in a spinning motion and watching the balls inside forcing the sphere to not fall straight back down, before he offered it to Kimi as he held it towards her after he caught it. "... I find it's good for stress, or just passing the time spinning it a lot... Don't worry, that barrier won't break easily."

Kimi sat there quietly and watched as Sugary used his magic. This sensation was always odd to her every time she felt it. It was so close to the chakra energy she has, but yet there was something different about this energy, kinda like the nature chakra found in her world is different from regular chakra in her world. This was different as well and she watched it carefully. Seeing how he formed the sphere and compressed it's size till it was about the size of a basketball and then he summoned more small spherical objects and placed them inside the barrier.

Hear ears turned in two directions and slowly lowered as she watched. She wondered if there was something greater to this than just what he did. He watched as he would spin the sphere and then toss it up and even see that it would bounce in different direction's on it's way back down. She would just blink as he handed it to her. She went and held it in her hands and then looked at it a moment.

What was she? Twelve? She considered just tossing it at him and just walking out, but all she stated was. "Thanks." Her eyes would look back at the sphere with a quizzical gaze as if trying to figure out some bigger deeper meaning in all this and she would slowly rotate it watching the balls within spin, a few bouncing over the other as they spilled over each other with the rotation of the barrier's sphere. She would move further back onto her bed until her back was pressed to the wall of the train. By then she was rotating the sphere quicker now watching the super balls inside of it move about.

For a moment, he got the distinct feeling she didn't want the toy-like object he had just made for her to pass the time, but eventually was proven wrong as she actually got focused on its use. At the very least, she now had something to focus her time and energy on, even if it was a rather basic item. If nothing else, there was more feeling to go with the magic ball as the energy keeping it together was his and not her own, so it was likely to feel different by default in her grasp, while the bouncing balls would likely keep making muffled bumping noises within it along with mild vibrations.

It was that very sound which would help him fall asleep eventually though, as she had accepted his idea, she was calm and entertained, and there was relative peace once more for them. So, he finally dozed off again till the nap served its purpose, or some other event were to rouse him from his nap...

Time would pass, they were well out the station and left a good distance from ponyville. The train had achieved it's optimal speed. By this point they had already passed the first bridge that went over a river that lead out one back side of the Everfree forest, just before the massive bridge that went over Ghastly Gorge.

"May I have everypony's attention? I wanna make this nice and clear, so we can make this as smooth as possible, and hopefully...no one gets hurt." a voice projected over the intercom and to Sugary and Kimi it would be a recognizable voice they had heard before. "If you would all so do me a favor and return to your cabin doors and relinquish all of your valuables and leave them outside the door, it'll make this robbery go a lot smoother. If not..."[/color] her voice paused a moment and soon you can hear the muffled cried of some other pony in the background. "p-please don't hurt us..."

Al would laugh over the intercom. "Oh man, you should see this, their sniveling over here. Oh don't worry I don't hurt you. I'll kill, but not hurt." she said in a sweet tone. "Oh and before I forget, don't anyone try to be a hero, I got this train rigged to explode, and to show that i'm not fooling around..." a button could be heard being pressed, and a few seconds passed and suddenly an explosion could be heard, though the explosion itself was in the second to last car, taking the roof off of it. "You have one hour."

The sound of Al's voice would certainly rouse Sugary from his sleep well enough, or rather, get his attention as the nap was ending on itself. His expression would soon turn into a scowl as the voice slowly became more familiar as it went on, followed by the sound of cowering voices. "... No way... No freaking way it's her... And doing this of all things now!?"

Once the explosion went off, he jolted up from the bed, alert as if ready for a scrap right there and then, snorting furiously as the shock and screams all throughout the train got the gears in his mind to shake off any drowsiness he might have had by then. He'd look to Kimi, and then seemingly look all around as his horn slowly began to glow a light blue as he Scanned the past the ceiling and the hallway for signs of life moving by with greater detail. "This is bad, but I sure as heck ain't planning on handing anything over. I lost too much as is...! Besides, they might still blow up the train for all we know... You got any ideas?" He'd try to keep his voice even towards Kimi and his eyes glued to the door in case anyone decided to come in right away. He did have a few ideas already, but he wasn't alone, and they seemingly had a bit of time to prepare. He also couldn't help but feel far too uneasy than he should now that he was fairly sure Al was there.

Kimi was in the middle of spinning the sphere upon her middle finger when she heard the announcement. She didn't react any more than just her ears lifting up high and swiveling slightly. Well this was unexpected, the voice she recalled from the mare who had attacked them a while back. Now that very Mare was hosting a train robbery. She then grabbed the sphere in both her hands and looked towards Sugary who back to speak and she could only give a light chuckle.

Much like Sugary was startled by the explosion, so was Kimi who turned her head in the direction of the explosion. This had obviously caused a negative reaction amongst the passengers as many began to freak out and scream. Many rushing back to their rooms. Kimi could feel all the quick movements that were happening as ponies rushed back to their rooms. Luckily no one was really hurt from the roof explosion.

Kimi shifted her gaze to Sugary who asked her for any ideas. "Well I believe that keeping the other civilian's alive is a priority..." which knocked off a lot of her ideas of simply just blasting all the car's in front of her to bits and pieces out the window. "We need to identify if there are others with her, and find out who they are. We wouldn't want to make the situation worse by intervening." She looked at him, but she gave a smirk. "But if you have a plan, I do feel quite antsy."

Sugary would not voice it, but he got the distinct feeling Kimi might have the potential to be a sweet Basketball player. That aside, he definitely took her word in earnest so far. "Yeah, don't wanna endanger anyone we shouldn't. That's a given... The problem with knowing who's with her is that could take too long to figure out. Someone could just be pretending to be a victim..." He then looked out the window again quickly and the ceiling, in particular. "I was thinking on just trying to go find whoever might have the explosive trigger and, if we're lucky, beat down whoever might be in charge as well. Cutting the sneak head and all that jazz..." He then gave her a mild smirk in return. "Course, we could just as likely get blown up with everyone while trying to fight all of them the hard way. Wanna take the high road or the low route? I'll play distraction if you need it. I'll even throw in an Invisibility spell as a bonus." He was going under the assumption she was quite capable of performing what was needed to make the plan a success. A rare chance to see her back up her claims as a Ninja village chief. He was also preparing to play the role of distraction as his horn lit up a subtle, fiery red.

Kimi would listen to Sugary as she pondered about the choices. They had to go about this situation as safely as possible so as not to endanger others on the train. He did hold a good point about it taking too long to try and figure that out. Just about anyone could be working with this mare, and Kimi wouldn't have an idea on how to distinguish between the good and bad ponies, unless they were attacking her directly that is.

Kimi would place the sphere on the bed next to her before she would stand up. "I don't need an invisibility spell." It was almost an insult to her pride as a ninja to be offered such a thing, but she didn't verbalize it. "I'll take the high road." She would move towards the open window and she would peek her head out of it and look left and right and seeing no one, she would step back and then unclip her hair and place the clip into her sleeve. She didn't want to lose the hair clip. She would look back towards Sugary. "Basing on what we hear, we can only assume that she is somewhere, where there is a intercom system. Do you know where that might be?"

While Kimi got herself prepped to make use of the window, Sugary would take the sphere, dissipate it, and have it's contents returned to him as he listened in by the door for anyone coming by. "Gotcha, I'll distract down here then... And I'm almost certain the main room for delivering messages by intercom are the Staff car which is up front, the dining cars, or the Security Caboose not far behind... Still, I seriously doubt the explosion and the talking came from back here. You'd have to be crazy or an adrenaline junkie... Or both... Anyway, ready when you are."

Kimi would nod her head to what Sugary told her about the car locations. "Well that wouldn't surprise me if we were in my world." she stated in response to the talking and the explosions coming from the same place. "I'll go at the same pace you do." she wouldn't want to move on ahead much quicker than he did incase anything ended up happening above or below they would be able to help each other out if possible. Kimi would look at Sugary one last time before she looked towards the window. "I'll see you at the other end." she stated as she would slip easily through the window and climb up to the car's roof.  She kept low to the ground to reduce the amount of wind pushing on her body as she would accumulate the chakra to the bottom of her feet, much like what she did when she walked on the water's surface back in ponyville and used that chakra to kept her attached to the Train's roof. The vibration's helped her keep a clear picture of everything that was below her, so it would be easy for her to keep track of Sugary through her echolocation senses.

Since Kimi decided to try and follow his movements, Sugary thought on whether or not he should try and make his route as quickly as possible, getting as much attention to himself as he could, and yet still managing to keep possible hostiles off of him by all means without being too subtle. He decided to go for it since the threats had just started, so he could afford to go right in and give something the bandits might worry over, but not actually expect. "If you're gonna follow my pace..." said he to her as he took out a small cleaning towel and wrapped it over his head, while making a very thin but concentrated reddish magical coating all over his body from horn and mane, to tail and hooves as well as the Inventory tied around his waist, his horn slowly glowing a brighter red now. "... then follow quick. I intend to constantly surprise everyone with this. I'll try to move as much as I can in one go... So here I go... With FIRE!?" He truly hoped she'd follow his cue as he swung the door open full force as he cast a Fire spell on himself and ran out the cabin by making it look as if something inside of it had exploded briefly with a rush of flames. He was all too aware of the possibility of other explosives around, so if anyone of the bandits had been nearby, it would hopefully startle them as a misfire of some kind. Nonetheless, he was a professional, and knew to not spread the flames too much lest he accidentally burn something he really shouldn't while pretending to be burning alive under the thin magical coat. It was still hot though, and it still meant a lot of concentration, but he needed to keep the act up as much as possible and as quickly as possible as he'd attempt to first run towards the area with the damaged roof and the back car for good measure as he really didn't want to risk having to go to one end of the train to find nothing.

If all went well with his completely unorthodox method of search and distraction, he should be keeping others from wanting to actively touch him or stop him too quickly as he dramatically and frantically ran from one end to the next while screaming "FIRE!! WATER!!" repeatedly, and having any brief chances he could take to try and see past the flames towards anything resembling a comms room... while his actual clothes burned in the incredibly limited time-frame as he needed something to look authentically burning in the meantime lest he raise more suspicion than what he was already likely to cause...

Kimi actually didn't hear a word he said as she had already hopped out the window when he had started talking, so whatever he was saying was covered by the loud noise of the train and the rushing wind. Once she stood firmly on the train's rooftop, she glanced about, thankfully she didn't see anyone on top. Though what did catch her attention was the intense heat she felt below her. She glanced down and focused her vision to a thermal setting and blinked in confusion as she noticed a big huge hot spot running from out the room. Thankfully she was already aware of Sugary's magical presence and she could feel his energy radiating off of him. She only mumbled to herself. "He must have been through some peaceful times in order to survive off of tactics like that..." Personally she wasn't a fan of that unorthodox method that Sugary does. It really annoyed her. She hadn't moved when she had noticed that Sugary decided to head back to the exploded dining car.

The ones that were in the dining car had long since evacuated from there running back to their rooms earlier shortly after the explosion had happened. From where Kimi stood she could see the on fire Sugary rushing through the dining car and then checking the last car and she waited for him to come back. She was thinking about what he told her earlier about them being in the further cars. She second guessed her decision about moving as fast as he did at this point and could only sigh as she waited until he finally returned to running like an on-fire maniac up the train cars. She would move after Sugary moved past the car she was standing on.

There weren't anyone inside the hallways of the train cars as most, if not all, had ran into their cabins, and some hid inside of small room, but what came to be noticed fairly quickly was the many bags that were being placed outside the doors. Ponies were giving up their valuables and placing them outside their rooms. Though many freaked out when they saw somepony on fire as well. Many kept their doors shut so as to keep Sugary from trying to enter their rooms. No one had attempted to stop him, given that they were quite afraid, because he kept running in a specific direction, instead of in circles or stopping and dropping onto the floor and rolling. It was strange.
