Name: Ether Philosophiae while his professional name is Dr. Ether
Race: Unicorn
Age: 32
Mane: Soot colored hair that reaches down to the lower neck and is scruffy around the edges.
Coat: Walnut-brown
Cutie mark.: The vague shape of a heart but full of gears, springs and cogs (Right here)
Extra details that aren’t needed but are nice to add: He carries a silver pocket watch with a sliver chain that leads into his heavy brown coat. The myositis causes his muscles to be swollen around his limbs and atrophied.
Distinguishing Features: A thick, bushy, soot colored old dutch beard covers his neck and chin. Across his face some of the color is drained away, making his fur lighter; mostly around his nose bridge and forehead.
Specialty (eg. special spells, unique powers etc): Ether is an expert in studying biological parts of animals and then reverse engineering them as clockwork machines, using those machines to improve his own body such as legs that allow him to stand up on his back legs and maintain walking on two legs.
Weaknesses: Relying mostly on his gear to get him out of a tight jam he wouldn't be able to fight without that gear. Time in the lab doesn't do wonders for one's skill with a blade or fists. His underdeveloped muscles would be his down fall in any sort of fight that he was required to fight without access his gear.  
Occupation: Royal Physician to the Princesses.  
Gear:Most of the time it varies from day to day but generally there is a few items that he more commonly uses. One of the items is featureless tan shoulder bag that contains empty vials and examining tools. The second item is a specially made spring launcher, based off the ability of the Cone Snail to shoot out a small projectile he has done the same to the launcher; being able to fire large needles that can be filled with liquid if wanted. Third is an exoskeleton hidden under the heavy brown coat. That exoskeleton holds the weight of his devices and provides support to his myositis inflicted body. The fourth one is boots with small springs and suspension in them, allowing him to jump distances a little tiny bit more then then he normally would be able to.
History:Ether was born to a loving couple but his father's job as a doctor took time away from his wife. Being forced to raise Ether by herself she took it upon herself to teach him everything he would need to know. The first few years of his life started out as a pretty standard childhood but a disease known as myositis made it a bit harder to move or breath. His mother worked around the house, making sure that the home was always at its cleanest while Ether was left to his own thoughts. Playing with a few assorted toys that puzzled him as a small foal. The strange shapes of triangles and squares never fit together but over time Ether began to arrange patterns in the squares and triangles. Those patterns began to be close to things he saw around the house but when it came to animals he couldn't ever get it just right. Years began to pass by to the point that he was a small colt going to his first day at school.

At the first day at school he came across a road killed animal. The horrible sight of animal guts splayed across the ground didn't bother him. Something about the animal made him wonder what was the meaning of the animals. This question continued all the way past his childhood and all the way into teenager-hood. Given more freedom over his own life he pursued the studies of being a doctor like his father.

He did well in the school, always just above the norm of students in the school but when it came to physiology there was no other in his class that could match his skill at identification. Spending more and more time with books and his teacher the knowledge he gained made him wonder. During one of the nights he went down into the mortuary. In the darkened room he found one of the bodies dissected, not passing up the chance to study the pony body further he got to work like an excited child. Cataloging and arranging the parts of the body he wondered even more... he had heard that the nerve system ran something like electricity so he tried it out. Hooking up a heart to a pump and a machine that would sent electrical pulses to the heart. Starting up the machine he noticed that the heart beat softly but leaked a tiny bit on the side. Taking a needle he sowed up the cuts on the side but as he did that one of the doctors stumbled upon what he thought was the workings of a mad pony.
Expelled from the school he was soon cast out by his father, Ether grew cold and bitter in the harsh winter. A little lost in his own life he began to search out for a calling. He loved his father's books on the biology of ponies but he couldn't be a doctor. His father had taken so much from him but why did he do that? That question burned away into his skull as  he continued on with the intent to get by in his life.

Searching more and more for a possible job he one day ran into a prominent scientist that studied the body and wrote the book that he loved reading. The chance of meeting his favorite pony was all to much and thanks to his knowledge of the body he landed a job as an assistant. Helping the doctor he learned much more about the body but one thing stood out to him. The tools that he used was somewhat similar to the bones of the animals they would dissect. Making a few changes he realized that he could make parts just like the body. Something was sparked within his heart, he wanted to do even more and he began to find out more about what he could do until one day he made a heart out of gears and that is when his cutie mark appeared.
Personality: A bit cold and doesn't trust others because sometimes others would try to take from him. He is calculating type that will pursue problems with endless logic, pushing aside limitations and other faults of his body to achieve his goals at any cost. To those he is loyal as friends there is no better one to have as a friend for he will be always careful about your heath and provide the needed treatment. He seems like he is the high and mighty scientist that you would ready in a bed time novel. Not the most likable person but can be tolerated. Life has mysteries and he will unlock them one at a time.
Current Home: Personal laboratory in Canterlot
Misc: He is currently trying his hoof at painting in hopes of stirring his creativity.

Distinguishing Features: Lumos has cyan webbing along her hooves and tail. She also has omnivorous teeth. Apart from that, she appears as a unicorn.
Specialty (eg. special spells, unique powers etc): Lumos can control and shape water, such as forming a spear or creating tendrils to drag someone under. She can dissolve herself into water, reforming if, for example, the water is evaporated.
Weaknesses: Lumos is greatly weakened the further she gets away from water, and is weak to iron.
Occupation: Drowning sailors, painting.
Gear: A set of waterproof saddlebags,  a dagger, and a short bow with arrows.
History: Lumos step was originally born at sea, shortly before the ship she was born was wrecked. Sea fae decided to raise Lumos as their own. Her prolonged exposure to fae magic eventually morphed her body and magic. Once the sea fae discovered her abilities, they began training her in magic. Lumos picked up the skills quite quickly, eventually earning her cutie mark in water magics. Since she was old enough to be left to her own devices, she as traveled around the waterways of various nations, sightseeing. During one of her treks, she encountered a mage by the name of Tarnished Silver. He was able to fend off her attacks, despite constant persistence on her part in trying to kill him as he smuggled goods up and down a river in the Everfree. Eventually, they took on an amicable relationship, with him teaching her how to paint. That relationship ended when she was finally able to catch him off guard and drown him in the river. This caused unexpected remorse for her, driving her to create her first major painting of the scene of his drowning. She then bartered the goods he had been carrying to another pony to have the painting delivered to a Canterlot art gallery, where it was bought by Tarnished's family.
Personality: Every bit as capricious as the ocean, but more susceptible to bribes. Very adept liar.

Extra details that aren’t needed but are nice to add:(Creator note: the character is being made in anticipation of Doomande/Sweetcake's RP set in Roam, and can be modified for use in other RPs to fit the canon.)
History: Born into a middle class family, he wanted to be a legionare in his home since a very small age. He got his wish at the age of 17, when--young and headstrong--he tried to join up with the Roaman militia, and was accepted. He quickly passed through the training days and now is beginning his career as a member of the civil legions. He has applied for a transfer to the city's main battle legions, but it hasn't yet been approved.
Distinguishing Features: He's too clean, clearly not a career soldier yet.
Specialty (eg. special spells, unique powers etc): He's a soldier, and carries the strengths and knowledge thereof. However, he is a young and green soldier and will often act without thinking.
Weaknesses: Mortality, and his inexperience.
Occupation: Soldier in the Roaman Civic legions
Gear: Common Civic legion armor and weaponry, as well as rations, a crested ring as a family memento, and a small amount of money.
Personality: If it hasn't been said yet: Young and headstrong, jumps at the opportunity for some action(any action), and would probably hit the moon(blasphemy in some cultures) at the opportunity to join the field legions and go to war. He's easy to bore, simple to excite, and quick to lose interest. Traits that help in the mayhem of combat, not so much on guard duty.

Extra details that aren’t needed but are nice to add: Sella wears her golden mane trimmed relatively short in something approximating a pixie cut.
Distinguishing Features: Sella is distinct for always wearing clothing of some kind that fully covers her body. Often this is her armor but when she's being more casual, this is a simple white tabard with the image of a dragon coiled around a staff on her chest.
Specialty (eg. special spells, unique powers etc): Sella excels in using her telekinetic magic to duel in close quarters with foes, typically non-pony, with a bade and kite shield. She has very little facility with conventional spells, instead using her unicorn magic to project and shape force in a variety of directions and with a variety of uses. Her favorite is forming a luminous crescent of power with a very thin edge and projecting it out along the swung path of her blade, giving the illusion that she used the sword to project the attack.
Weaknesses: Hot-headed, impulsive, and given to intimidating displays of power that are as much pure show as practical, Sella is easily baited in combat and tends to exhaust herself rapidly. Combined with a pigheaded disposition, this makes her a powerful, courageous, and dangerous foe but also one that flares brightly and burns out quickly. Out of combat, she's often got more bravado than is good for her, although the ponies that aren't driven away by her talk and dramatic persona tend to become very attached and very loyal to her.
Occupation: Second Swordsmith at the armory that supplies the Royal Guard. Secret adherent of the Dusk Wardens.
Gear: A set of full unadorned articulated plate-mail and helm, hoof-and-a-half sword, kite shield, arming coat, tabard.

History: Along with her twin sister Lunara ("Ara") Dray,  Sella is the latest scion of a very long line of ponies going back to the conflict between Celestia and Luna that formed an oathbound pair of orders: the Dusk Wardens with a more combat orientation that took as their vow the protection of the common pony from the ravages of the conflict; and the Dawnlight Inquisition who took as their vow the seeking of truth in aid of the common pony to protect them against more mundane evils such as crime, graft, and deception. The founder of the Wardens was a noble named Alabaster Flask, and the founder of the Inquisition his childhood friend (and eventual wife) Crimson Dart who was a commoner but highly regarded among the nobility for her spotless record of fairness as a circuit judge. Together, husband and wife gathered like-minded ponies to see to the aid and protection of the ordinary pony who had no part in Celestia and Luna's dispute and were harmed by what the pair saw as a puerile fight over whether Sun or Moon should reign. The creed in common between them was "Neither Sun of light and warmth / Nor Moon of beauty and dreams / But both in kind and always" and they were studiously neutral between the two, celebrating the victory of Celestia while mourning as Luna was cast onto her moon and imprisoned.

Even after the event that started them was done with, the Wardens and Inquisition continued because while the conflict between goddess was done, the ordinary pony still needed to be shielded from beasts and other physical dangers, as well as the same crime and lies that could oppress them in more subtle ways. Alabaster and Crimson believed that making their mission public and well-known would turn them into a sensation and entangle them in politics and nettlesome scrutiny and detract from their intended service to the  weak, the helpless, and the downtrodden. As such, they created a regime of secrecy and heritage: membership would be passed down along family lines, as would fully knowledge of the twin orders. Neither would hide necessarily, but they'd work assiduously to remain obscure and largely unknown to the wider population. Both this legacy of battle and of truth-seeking passed from one generation to the next, always quietly, always humbly, the corrupt expelled from the orders and their evil exposed without making the secretive associations known.

In time, the legacies would pass to the twin sisters Celestial and Lunara Dray who were commissioned to the Wardens and Inquisition respectively. Sella took to her heritage with reluctance at first. She wished nothing more than to be a master swordmaker and become known for her gifts with the forge than any facility with battle. But growing up attending public schools and seeing numerous examples of the bigger children being cruel and even hurting the smaller filled her with an appreciation for the philosophy of taking up arms to fight for those that could not. Even the most basic of techniques from the millenia-stretching legacy of Alabaster Flask made Sella many times the brawler and fighter than the bullies were, and the bad ponies swiftly came to know her (and her sister, albeit for different reasons) and left her and her charges alone. With instruction in fighting, however, came relentless instruction in discipline and while she was of very average intelligence, Sella earned top marks consistently by substituting hard work for inborn talent. Even as she took up her duties to the Wardens, therefor, she was fulfilling her dream to be a swordsmith of note and swiftly rose to be a journeyman to the master swordsmith that worked for the Royal Guard.
Personality: Brash, highly confident, extremely stubborn, bluntly honest, and highly protective of those that she sees as weak or in need of a strong hoof to protect them.

Distinguishing Features: Ara always appears to be smiling to some degree or another. Having no issue at all with wearing very little, she is nonetheless very shy about her slender and attractive carriage. She always wears a pendent with a ruby inside a rectangle lantern around her neck on a golden chain, the symbol of her status as an Inquisitor.
Specialty (eg. special spells, unique powers etc): Ara's gifts are entirely in seeing what is hidden and using small amounts of magic to augment her senses and allow her better use of her training in sensing lies and ferreting out truth. She has a facility with spells that her sister lacks, concentrating primarily on cantrips that can be used in a utilitarian fashion, and spells of healing and defense to keep her safe as she carries out the duties of a Dawnlight Inquisitor.
Weaknesses: Quiet, soft-spoken, and looking visibly incapable of self-defense, Ara projects a sense of being an easy target and amusing prey for many of the criminals she encounters. While she's shockingly good at taking care of herself, her projected weakness invites a great deal of conflict and has an unfortunate effect of sometimes endangering the ponies she's trying to help because thugs associate the innocent ponies with the quiet mare projecting signals of "I am prey".
Occupation: Municipal Judge. Secret adherent of the Dawnlight Inquisition.
Gear: An enchanted lantern that can dissipate and protect against spells meant to deceive in any way, a long violet robe with red trim and a full-face mask to conceal her identity, and a small dull misericorde that breaks spells of magical binding or hindrance through physical contact.

Unlike her sister, Ara threw herself into every facet of her heritage from the very moment she learned of it. An enthusiastic and driven student of the reverence for truth and fairness that Crimson Dart brought to her order, Ara rapidly mastered the entirely mundane methods that Crimson taught to discern truth and separate wheat from chaff when considering information. From the very beginning of her life in school, Ara was one of the targets for bullies that drove Sella to embrace the heritage of the Wardens. But like her sister, the bullies quickly learned to give Ara a wide berth because the slight filly had a scary tendency to ferret out their darkest secrets (not particularly hard when your target is still a child and you've been learning how to extract the truth from adults) and hold them over their heads. The natural student that Sella never was, Ara aimed at a more intellectually lofty goal: the robes of a judge so that she could do with the full sanction of the Dual Thrones what she did "off the clock" in service to Crimson Dart's ideals.

Highly intelligent, she was able to pass the crushingly difficult entrance exams for Hossford and began a rapid ascent towards the office of a municipal judge and then further. Her highly idealistic view of the law and justice made her professors wary of encouraging her, feeling that she'd be unprepared for the hard truth of an imperfect world. Ara, however, was no naif and was more familiar with the ugly side of the world than any of her professors due to her dedication of the Inquisition. Much to the surprise of these professors, Municipal Judge Dray developed a courtroom presence that often cowed defendants despite the fact that she never did anything more threatening than watch them quietly from the bench. Her intellect and Inquisitorial training earned her a reputation for being unsparingly just while also scrupulously fair and many agree that the municipal judgeship is the stepping stone for the secret Inquisitor that Lunara Dray desires it to be.
Personality: Quiet, very warm and kind, soft-spoken, but with great strength of presence and personality behind her eyes, those she encounters in the course of her public life respect her and those she aids in her secret life are swiftly coming to love her.

   Distinguishing Features: Small horns on his head, tail is made of fire unless he wills it into a normal tail.
   Specialty (eg. special spells, unique powers etc): Sephy has the authority to make official contracts between mortals and other denizens of Tartarus. He can summon Tartarus scrolls regardless of the anything that would otherwise prevent it. Apart from this, Sephy is a powerful Abjurationist, capable of quickly setting up complex and potent wardings.
   Weaknesses: Sephy is weaker than most demons, and is burned by silver.
   Occupation: Sephy spends most of his time scouting out desperate mortals to pressure int a contract.
   Gear: None.
   History: Sephy was originally the soul of Silver Disk, a powerful Canterlot noble. He had sold his soul to a contract demon to set up good lives for his younger relatives before the many scams hs family was built upon fell apart. Sephy began his life in Tartarus as an imp in the service of the contract demon he had originally contacted. He worked his way up the rank, one mortal at a time. Eventually, he maneuvered his superior into a shaky contract with Prince Blueblood. The contract fell apart, with Tartarus paying a heavy price for no gain. Sephy was given his superior's post.

   Personality: Sephy varies his personality based on the mortal. His real "self" does its best to maintain detachment from mortals outside of his job, lest he become sympathetic to their plights.

Extra details that aren’t needed but are nice to add: When in the flesh form his mane is kept about to his upper neck. In skeleton form all signs of fur are gone and replaced with flowing, fluorescent green mist.
Distinguishing Features: Dirge Naadir always carries an aura of dread around him. That feeling of something just isn't quite right while red eyes are always searching for something. He always wears a sliver necklace with a light green gem in a shape of a skull. The gem resides in the center of the necklace around his neck. Somewhat muscular in stature, he stands about as tall as big mac. When in the skeleton form he is as tall as Celestia.
Specialty (eg. special spells, unique powers etc): First off he can  trade his mortal form for his skeleton form with the muttering of a few words to the gem in his necklace. In the skeleton form he can wreak havoc on his foes with his sword. The skeleton form can be slain but it rises again over and over if his sword isn't dealt with accordingly. Though most of the power doesn't come from his skeleton form, it comes from the sword he carries. On the sword is six runes he can activate but only one at a time. If he touches another with his form they will feel the effect of the rune activated. The effects of the runes include weakness, making the afflicted's movements sluggish, rotting away their armor, induces crippling fear in them, inflicts pain where touched, and obscuring their vision.

Weaknesses: His mortal flesh is his biggest weakness, when he is mortal he is subjected to all the effects of being living. He needs to eat, drink, and all that are living do. He can only transform when a clear threat is ahead or when someone has the intent of killing him.  When he is in the skeleton form he has one major weakness, the first is his sword. When the sword is removed from him he is weakened and can’t cast any of his spells. When the sword breaks it kills him instantly.

Occupation: Doesn’t have one, sometimes does guard work but most ignore him.
Gear: None on his flesh but when in a skeleton form he wears plate armor and wields a giant great sword with runes written on the flat of the blade.
History:He was a foal born to a family that was kept under the thumb of a bat pony robber that would raid their house for food. The poor foal was the child of two loving farmers; they loved him and cared all they could for him. One evening, when the bat pony was carrying out his normal robbery, an accident occurred that ended in the death of the foal. His grief-stricken parents buried their child in an unmarked grave, the pain so immense that they couldn't bear to see his name on a tombstone.

Killed nearly two centuries ago, those that knew the foal died in the passing generations. All that  remained was the unmarked grave outside of the home. In time, evil magic would engulf his body, leaving behind a damned soul to wander the realm between life and death. Having no memory of hsi previous like the poor foal wandered without purpose, not sure where he was going. This continued for many years until  one day when he felt the draw of the magic pulling him into a skeleton.

Suddenly he found himself stuck within the confines of a bone body. Holding his hoof high above his head he watched as a young necromancer came over to his side with an evil grin on his face. The necromancer called him a name, Dirge Naadir, that would stick with him for the rest of his life. Fearing what the necromancer would do to him he lashed out with the closet weapon he could find. That weapon was a mystical great sword that cleaved the very spirit from the necromancer's body. The bones that was his body fell forwards into the flesh allowing him to gain the flesh that was the necromancer. Living once again he was utterly confused with what had happened and what his purpose was in the world. Wandering once again he traveled away into the new world.
Personality: Cold and harsh in his words. When a skeleton he doesn’t take lightly with others when the objective can be completed. Always on the guard and offensive he is ready to fight off those that would dare purify his body. Trapped in the skeleton form he slays those that would put themselves over him. When in the flesh form he is much more cordial, he will act accordable in society but he won’t go out and socialize with everyone he sees.
Current Home:None, he roams on the world.
Misc: He loves a good song and a good fight to pass the time.

Extra details that aren’t needed but are nice to add: Due to having a hummingbirds wing structure Aushfer is capable of hovering in place flawlessly as well as flying backwards.

Distinguishing Features: Aside from being a rare hummingbird griffon as opposed to a species of eagle, hawk or owl (which are more common in modern griffons) Aushfer has a number of nicks and scars on her body from years of combat, including a long scratch going halfway down her beak.

Specialty (eg. special spells, unique powers etc): Aushfer is a former soldier who found work afterwards as a body guard. As such she is highly skilled at combat and security details, able to plan out safe routes for civilians and has her reaction times and eyesight trained to near perfection to properly protect her marks.

Aushfer is skilled with a wide variety of weapons but favors her bo staff.

Weaknesses: Aushfer has suffered some nagging injuries over her years of service and work; most prominently a wound to the stomach, while healed up now, leaves her vulnerable to serious injury if she takes a hard shot to the stomach.

Occupation: Bodyguard

Gear: Her bo staff is her weapon of choice that she usually has with her. Usually wears the same beige bomber jacket.

History: Aushfer was, like all griffons of able body, trained to do military service from a young age. After her mandatory year Aushfer decided she liked the military life and stayed on to be a soldier in the griffon army, occasionally she was offered other positions but she turned them down for a love of being deployed in the field.

As she grew older Aushfer started to pick up some nagging injuries that left her less and less able to be deployed on a regular basis, finally culminating in a stomach wound that left her unable to take a blow to the lower torso. She was subsequently retired with honors.

Not one to get comfortable with retirement, Aushfer quickly started finding work as a bodyguard for Griffon lords and rich business owners. It was during this time that she repeatedly encountered the by then notorious Hoodwink, who she regularly fought against but was always eluded by. Despite this, her run ins with him ended up giving her work because while she was never able to capture Hoodwink she usually detected him fast enough to prevent himself stealing what he came for.

Years later, after the famous Hoodwink had seemingly left, Aushfer saw an upswing in business as he supposedly returned. It didn't take long for Aushfer to know this was not the same thief she had pursued and she soon found out Purse Cutter was the new Hoodwink; rather than reignite the frustration she felt at her father Aushfer instead befriended Purse Cutter and became one of her trusted allies, to be called on whenever she was able.

Personality: Aushfer has a blood lust, a fact which she has no problem admitting. While she doesn't enjoy death she enjoys the rush of battle, and will be bored if she's winning too easily, preferring a more even fight. This carries over into her bodyguard work, where she looks forward to times where she does have to stop problem causers.

Despite that blood lust though Aushfer is not the kind of person who actively tries to cause fights; if one happens to arise she will savor it but she knows there is a time and a place for battle. Her alliance with Purse Cutter came about due to her being older and wiser, seeing the benefits of befriending the new Hoodwink rather than pointlessly pursuing her.

Current Home: A house in Griffingham (a city on the border of Griffon and Pony territory).

Extra details that aren’t needed but are nice to add: Green eyes. Has a fairly long mane, but keeps it tied in a ponytail.

Distinguishing Features: none

Specialty (eg. special spells, unique powers etc): Ash is a fast fighter when he's in melee combat, and can outrun most opponents, both on the ground and in the air. He also has better than average sight, allowing him to aim at longer distances better. His ability to focus is excellent.

Weaknesses: Often is reckless and rushes into danger. He also is not a good multi-tasker, so he's not good at fighting multiple opponents at once. Has great difficulty sitting still for long periods of time with nothing to do, which leads him to be impatient if no one keeps him grounded or if he's not waiting for some sort of signal.

Occupation: Mercenary

Gear: Two retractable hoof blades, each about the size of a short sword. Also carries a compact crossbow and a longbow. Often wears leather armor.

History: Ash was born in Cloudsdale, and for the longest time wanted to follow in his father's steps and become a soldier. When he got his cutie mark after training with his father one day, he figured it was his destiny. However, from starting out in the local guard, he decided the life of a soldier might not be for him. He wanted something more exciting. So, he decided to try being a mercenary, and he loved it. He definitely found it more thrilling than standing guard all day. He never has had a lot of money, but working for the thrill is payment enough for him, so long as he still has money so he can eat and comfortably sleep.

Personality: He's very much a thrill seeker, leaping at the opportunity to see some action. Despite this, he can be very patient, albeit very reluctantly. Often can't sit still without something to keep him busy. He'll throw patience to the wind if waiting is not important. He's often sarcastic, for both his jokes and his insults. Otherwise, he can be very friendly, and is pretty much guaranteed to be listening to the conversation. If something else has his attention, it'll be obvious.

Current Home: Wherever, unless he decides to visit home in Cloudsdale.

Distinguishing Features: Moves with an unnatural grace, gives off an otherworld feeling. Apart form that, appears as a normal unicorn.
Specialty (eg. special spells, unique powers etc): Extremely skilled at Illusions and Transmutation. Despite appearing as a unicorn, is about as fast and strong as a well built earth pony. She can re-live the memories of someone by tasting their blood. Nyx can create a powerful illusion of fire, one that is nearly impossible to break.
Weaknesses: the touch of iron burns her, and disables her magic.
Occupation: Mercenary, also works as a traveling bard.
Gear: Halberd, Saddle Bags, rain-cloak, spelunking kit, and a flute.
History: Nyx was sent to the mortal world as a joke by Queen Titania. Previously, Nyx had been a court herald and musician, but after a prank gone wrong erased Nyx's memory of several embarrassing events, she was left with no way to claim her innocence. Queen Titania, feeling whimsical, banished Nyx to the mortal world.

Having frequented the mortal world, Nyx had a decent understanding of what to do. She took upon name of "Faerie Fire" to remind her of her home. Already having considerable talent in both combat magic (job requirements) and the flute (also job requirements), she began traveling around the Equestria, picking up regional accents along the way. At one point in her travels, she was caught in a crossfire between two chaos mages, which sent her on a journey that eventually ended with her in the Griffon Empire. Unfortunately, as a side-effect of the chaos blast, she went through the entire things absolutely drunk. Thusly, she has no memory of how she arrived in the Griffon Empire, or acquired her gear.
Personality: Playful, but noticably detached. Underneath the facade she puts on, Faerie is ruthless and pragmatic.

Name: Igneous The Iron Scaled

Race: Lizardfolk (if you want me to do a species introduction part let me know, but lizardfolk are a pretty standard race generally)

Age: Past RP’s or normal gameplay 23-45, OP RP and his general age range 300-450, Future based RP or FoE 3,000 and up (nonplayable character, only there for cameos or what not)

Head: Twin horns sticking out the back of his head, with small spikes traveling from the top of his head down his back.

Body and Scales: Black scales all along his head and back extending down his tail, chest is a deep tanned color along with the inside of the neck and chin.

Cutie mark.: N/A

Extra details that aren’t needed but are nice to add: He can unhinge his jaw like a snake if he wants to. At 300 years old he weighs in at nearly 600 lbs due to his shear muscle mass. His height is somewhere around 7’10”-8’3”.

Distinguishing Features: He has massive scarring all around his entire body, mostly centered around his chest though. A large intersecting scar on his chest shows where he had been gored and then split open. Missing left eye with claw and blade marks around his snout and lips.

Specialty (eg. special spells, unique powers etc): His greatest assets is first his durability and second his strength. Igneous’s pride comes from how much abuse he can take and still remain standing and willing to fight. The Iron Scaled is the self-proclaimed title he gave himself for turning his body into a walking tank.
Of course with massive durability comes great strength, even from a young age he was raised to be at always peak physical condition, and has maintained great strength even through his brief period of enslavement. At the age of 300 though his strength began to rival that of a demi-god displaying feats of strength that would seem unimaginable, lifting and smashing things several times his own weight and size.
The black dragon Ryaguk, Igneous’s adoptive father, using a powerful draconic spell had sacrificed the better half of his own life span in order to grant Igneous the life span of a dragon and the ability to increase his endlessly strengthen himself. This ability does not grant Igneous any extra abilities however and does not directly increase his strength or endurance, but it does grant him the ability to surpass his own natural limits with continuous training and exercise. Although his strength does more quickly dwindle if he goes several days without some sort of strenuous task. As a result igneous must always be training in some way or he will lose his strength.
Due to his rather harsh upbringing as well as the hardiness of his body, Igneous has also developed a rather formidable resistence to fire, he can handle temperatures up to the equivalence of Dragons breath with only minor injuries.

Weaknesses: Igneous’s main weakness is his pride and foolhardiness. He never bothers with trying to come up with a strategy or figure out the most effective way to do anything and prefers to charge head first into the fray no matter what the odds may be. When in a group with him it is easier to just to make a plan around when igneous charges the enemy.
Igneous has very little actual honed skills in fighting and has never studied any fighting technique. He has always purely relied on his bestial instincts to carry him through battle and into victory. While this does make his attacks more wild and unpredictable, this also generally leaves him open to attack as he leaves openings between attacks much more frequently.
Igneous can be driven into a state of blind fury if enraged enough times. In this state, he does become faster, stronger, and unable to feel pain. However, he can no longer tell friend from foe and will attack everything on sight as he reverts back to his bestial nature.

Occupation: Mercenary, and a damned expensive one too. Occasional movie villain or movie villains main muscle, Jack likes to put igneous in his movies despite igneous being a really fucking awful actor just cuz he makes a good villain by being big and intimidating as balls.

Gear: at ages 23 and so on, igneous generally carried with him a great axe carved out of dragon bone. He also wore a full breastplate and metal leggings for protection as this was when his scales toughness could only protect him so much. At later years as he aged to be around 200, Igneous stopped wearing armor and using weapons altogether as he believed the armor just limited his mobility.

History: Igneous was born to a group of tribal ravagers, a small group of barbaric lizardfolk who have given into their bestial nature and are now more like animals than sentient creatures. Lizardfolk are commonly hated as there are many groups like this and while there are many civilized lizardfolk they one is more likely to find hostile ones than not. There hunting had unknowingly brought them into the territory claimed by the black dragon Ryaguk. The group had been unsuccessful in their hunting for days now which was when Igneous was born. The group tried to eat igneous at birth but the maternal instincts of his mother led her to defend him and she was eaten in his stead. This struggle had gotten the attention of Ryaguk who was out flying and decided to take a closer look. Displeased that he had intruders on his land trying to hunt his meat he decided to kill them for their insolence. Igneous was spared the jaws of Ryaguk as Ryaguk had decided to take pity on him and instead made him his pet.

Ryaguk named Igneous after an old friend of his out of respect for the dead, who was another hatchling that he grew up with but died when they were still young to self-proclaimed dragon slayers, griffons trying to get some worth added to their name. As time went on and igneous grew older, Ryaguk began to think of igneous as less of a pet and more of a son. However, Ryaguk had never raised children before and dragon parenting being notoriously bad to begin with, things were quite ruff for Igneous. Ryaguk was raising Igneous to be a dragon and adopt dragon culture, and thusly if he was to thrive in dragon culture he must also be able to defend himself against dragons. Lizardfolk have no magical abilities, even less so than an earth pony, as they are only one or two evolutionary steps past being a mindless animal. So naturally Igneous was being beaten with the short end of the stick here. This did not stop Igneous though, determined to prove himself worthy of his father’s love, he fought, bit, and scratched his way through all the challenges that Ryaguk put him through.

Ryaguk was especially proud of Igneous and his accomplishments at such an early age and knew that Igneous’s lifespan was especially short compared to his own. He wanted to see Igneous live on well past himself and see how much he can accomplish with a life span of that suiting a dragon. Using an ancient draconic spell that sacrifices half of the casters life, he granted Igneous a lifespan of 10,000 years and took away his natural limitations as well. He never told igneous he had done this though and let him continue life as normal. A few years later though a rather ambitios red dragon had laid his eyes on Ryaguks land and wished to claim it as his own. This dragon was notoriously powerful and had many thralls working under his command, owning nearly a small cities worth of slaves. Ryaguk and Igneous had fought them off successfully for a while as the dragon did not deem them worthy of his personal time. After slaughtering hundreds of his slaves however the dragon had become rather annoyed and decided to fight them himself. Sadly, the dragon did prove to be too powerful for the two of them, Ryaguk was gutted and his heart torn out by the red dragon who then mounted his skull as a prize. Igneous had fought tooth and nail against him but was easily overwhelmed, as he was impaled by the dragons claw and thrown against the cave wall where he then had his thralls set upon him cutting him up until he stopped moving. During this event he had lost his left eye.

Surprisingly, the dragon had found that Igneous was still clinging to life. Impressed with his strength, the dragon decided to give one last insult to Ryaguk and enslave his son. It took nearly 2 years for igneous to fully recover from his wounds and the hard labor under the servitude of the murderer of his father certainly didn’t help. Although, Igneous did grow stronger from the event and his tolerance for pain had become extraordinary. Igneous worked for the Red dragon for several years, all the while doing the tasks that require the most amount of work, and all the tasks the other slaves avoided at all costs. He grew popular among the slaves for this and had even gained the attention of his master. However, he only did these tasks as means to get stronger so that he might exact his revenge for his father. One night Igneous managed to sneak into his masters resting lair as he slept. Using a pick axe igneous had stolen from the mines he worked in, he attacked the sleeping dragon managing to plunge the pick axe into the dragons left eye, for irony’s sake. This of course did not kill the dragon but enraged him. The battle was long and harrowing with igneous constantly on the metaphorical ropes very nearly being killed several times over. However, with a mixture of lots of luck and grim determination, Igneous slayed the mighty red dragon by tearing open its belly and clawing through his insides. Igneous proceeded to eat his opponent’s heart and tear out the dragons bones, as one of the slaves was a skilled blacksmith. The earth pony blacksmith in appreciation for his freedom carved and molded a great axe out of the bones and scales of the fallen dragon.

As the years went by Igneous traveled all across the northwestern provinces working as a mercenary and making a name for himself. All the while further increasing his strength and combat prowess as that was all he knew how to do. A couple hundred years later, Igneous was temporarily traveling with a circus as a sideshow as he was at the time low on funds. This is where he met Jack Hoofington, who was still Jacky Wildfeather at the time. Jack was still a traveling martial artist and was thoroughly impressed by Igneous’s raw strength and skill. Jack let Igneous live with him for a while as he competed at a local fighting tournament in Stalliongrad. The two of them were offered roles in a low budget martial arts film while there and igneous was finally making enough money to travel as a mercenary again. Jack and Igneous parted ways but would eventually meet up again back in Equestria.

Personality: Igneous friendly and generally pretty light hearted despite the intimidating presence he gives off. He is also very prideful and can be extremely greedy, no matter how rich he becomes if he gets the opportunity to skip on a bill or hand it off to somepony else he will. Igneous’s entire existence revolves around combat and he is always wanting to fight something and prove his strength to others.

Current Home: He currently has a cave in which he stores his horde somewhere in the equestrian mountain range, only a few days walk away from canterlot. Although he generally doesn’t actually stay there as he is constantly moving around. The cave entrance is covered by a massive boulder.

Misc: Igneous can break dance, Jack had taught him while they were living together. He incorporates this into fighting sometimes, where he will flip onto his head and spin using his tail as a massive flail. Although he is quite capable of doing an entire dance routine if you get him drunk enough.

Igneous was taught by his father to always make sure the enemy knows to fear you, and the best way to do that is to eat their friends while they watch. Because of this, Igneous has formed the odd habit of almost always eating his opponents, or at least their heart. He has actually formed a reputation for himself around this fact, and ponies tend to make a wide birth around him whenever he is in town. Igneous rather enjoys being called a monster though as he sees that his reputation has successfully preceeded him and that its good for business.

Race: Anthrofied Tiger Shark Girl

Hair: Red with orange highlights (She likes to dye the hair in different colors at times)
Extra details that aren’t needed but are nice to add: greyish-blue eyes, usually has a shy expression when she isn't shy.
Distinguishing Features: Her walking on two legs, abnormally long tail, a tattoo on her dorsal fin, beads around her right ankle and ear-beads.

Specialty (eg. special spells, unique powers etc): Her bites are stronger than of a usual tiger shark, but she rarely uses them, and she is very agile. She can also bash her enemies with her strong tail.
EDIT (With Dual's approval): Naina can float whenever and wherever she wants, much like Discord.
Weaknesses: Even though she's a shark, she is still weaker than a pony of any kind.
Occupation: Works at a local spa
Gear: She usually wears simple shirts of various colors with a large collar that exposes both her shoulders, a soft blue collar around her neck and denim shorts.
History: Requiem used to be an ordinary tiger shark of a female gender. One day, when she went too close to the land, where Discord just so happened to be relaxing and bored. So out of boredom, once he saw Requiem, he 'cursed' her by making her anthrofied. Once he did that, he escaped, leaving the anthrofied Requiem behind on the beach, filled with confusion. She was later found by the ponies who happened to be working at the local spa and was taken in with them to be raised. They taught her how to speak, eat, all the skills required to not look 'weird' in the society, and most importantly, how to do a good massage. Requiem now lives in Horseshoe bay, close enough to the sea so she can have her daily swims, and next to the spa where she works in.
Personality: Usually cheerful, rarely gets angry, enjoys a good talk and likes to go to various parties in her free time.

Race: Teterian (Male)

Age: 83

Mane: Centimetre thick, very dark green, vine like hair that goes down to just below his ears and tapers to points. 

Coat: Skin: A lighter green then his hair, more like healthy grass then pine needles. The areas that don't need to bend much are extra thick and toughed, meaning you'd have to really try to get through it. If you tap his skin, some areas will sound like you're hitting wood. 

Cutie mark.: None

Distinguishing Features: 
He's a nine and a half foot tall, near three foot wide green plant alien with freaky eyes and no belly button. Around his three eyes (Which look like This) Are red, jagged and mostly straight lines, tattooed onto his face. His hands are symmetrical, a thumb on either side of his palm, ring finger and middle finger the longest fingers and the same length, the index and pinkie fingers being slightly shorter but also the same length.
His feet are very large, with three large toes sticking out the front, each ending in a large, vicious looking brownish claw. Two more of these toes, and claws, stick out backwards from his heels. Meant to draw nutrients and water from the soil, these feet with their nasty claws are able to get through stone and rock to get to dirt, and are able to crumble concrete if they get a good grip on it. 

Specialty (eg. special spells, unique powers etc):
While Teterians by nature can't project magic, they can use the natural magic they have inside them on themselves, if they train themselves to of course. Nattonva can channel his magic to make movements like swinging an arm or foot that little bit faster, use his ability to tap into the nervous system of plants and creatures to make blows that little more painful by giving them a nasty transfer of magic and can use it to speed up his already very quick and powerful healing. Normally a Teterian can regrow a limb in the time it takes someone of a more normal race to heal a broken bone, but by speeding up his natural healing, Nattonva can regrow a severed arm in about thirty seconds. However, it does take up as much energy as it it would normally take to regrow a limb, just instantly. 

However, severing a limb is going to be difficult. As mentioned before their skin is highly tough, to the point were some bullets won't pass all the way through it. On top of this the rest of him is tough as well, thanks to their thickened cell structure. This makes them both durable and very, very strong. Nattonva has a scary level of strength, like all Teterian Males, the big green Hulks of the Galaxy. 

The secret to this immense strength is the fact that there is a genetic mutation in the males that means their bodies produce a higher level of steroids, giving them a much bulkier physique and a very, very painful childhood (Growing pains is a very fitting term here.) This also gives them another interesting ability. 
When hurt, their brains will pump out more steroids and adrenalin, meaning they will keep going until they finally realise they're dead. So you have to make sure you kill them dead quite quickly. A Teterian Male that's had it's legs blown off will try and drag itself at you and beat you up with it's foot before admitting it can't fight and should be dead. 

The only other natural abilities they have are related to their senses. They can pick up vibrations through the ground and sense were things are within a certain distance of them, forty to fifty feet depending on the size of the thing moving, Their eyes are also very good, sharp, able to zoom in slightly and able to still see in a much lower light level then a pony. The one in their forehead is a little odd though. through it, they can 'See' energy, like electricity and magic. It's more that they can sense it, but to make sense of it their brain gives them an overlay to visualise it for them. 

That's it for their natural powers. Onto what Nattonva is good at himself. 

He's a fighter, learned in a few forms of martial arts, some from his own race, some from others, but the weapons he truly trusts and uses are swords and shields. He is very good at using both, but can use anything as a weapon really. From hitting you with a high tech halberd to wrapping a table around your head. It's what his role is in life and society, and so that is what he must be good at. 

That and flower arranging. He does like flower arranging. 

Weaknesses: 
Fire. Extreme heat will cause a horrible, agonising death as all the water running through their system evaporates, forming blisters on their skin that pop and tear, releasing the water from their bodies. Once dried out they burn like paper, and voilà, roasted Teterian. A little crispy maybe, but certainly dead. 

Along with heat they can't do without water. Water is vital to them, and they drink a lot of it. That and nutrients. Given their plant biology, the only thing they truly need to eat is meat, for the protein. So, they can in fact starve if given normal food and not a nice bit of dirt to stand in. 
Light is also another thing they can't do without. As the sun sets, so do they, for in pitch blackness they cannot move at all. This scares them as well, a leftover inbuilt trait from their tribal stage, were the Mammalian Monsters of the night could hunt them down with ease. 
(A note. Give a Teterian all of these things, Water, Light and Food, and you have something with unlimited stamina for as long as they have them)

A weakness unique to the males is that they're not the brightest tools in the shed. The most effective, yes, but not the brightest. Certainly not stupid though, but you're unlikely to find one that's a scientist or mathematician. They are very logical and straight forward thinkers, taking the most direct route to dealing with a problem rather then a convoluted one. Locked door in the way and you need to get through it? Don't pick the lock, smash it down or blow it up. 

Another thing to do with their minds is an odd one, and not natural. Given the male's powerful nature, they are always socially conditioned to be good and follow orders. This is a weakness in the fact it makes them a little bit, Uniform, in a way. Perfect for a military or for manual labour, but as individuals they don't bloom as much compared to the other genders, too used to having to work or follow orders. 
It's for a good reason though, because you really don't want one of these guys going rogue and having nasty thoughts of murder and such. 

Occupation: Military Security Guard. 

Gear: Power armour with built in lights, water and nutrient storage to keep it's wearer going. Completely covers him from head to claws, the power armour claws being bladed and very nasty looking. The suit also has a built in tower shield on the left arm, which actually covers the hand and can fold up to a smaller size. The shield can also get a little bigger, parts folding out and angling backwards at about forty five degrees and when it does this a projected layer of magic solidifies in front of it just above it's surface. The magic shielding can be broken though, under enough constant bombardment, and once activated the Super Shield can't be moved, so it's more for pure defending then going on the offensive with a good defence.   

Speaking of which, the suit has four offensive measures. One, the foot claws. The second, and more readily used, is the sword, the scabbard built into the suit.  The sword is five feet long (Folds down to three foot for storage), and Nattonva can easily wield it in one hand. It's not a thin blade, half a foot wide, but this is to house the parts that project a cutting edge of plasma. Technically it's a double bladed sword, but it detects which way he's swinging it to only activate the plasma on that side, as to save power. The only time both sides are lit is when the sword is drawn out of the scabbard, as this acts as a warming up mechanism and it's really cool.  

The third melee option is linked to the shield, but isn't quite the shield itself. Given that the shield covers the left hand, that isn't actually on display. Instead it's hidden, given a little control pad to command parts of the suit. One part the left hand can control is the large, three pronged claw tucked away behind the shield. It's sharp, it's nasty, and if used, would most likely cut something in half. 

The fourth option takes care of any ranged issues. Mounted just behind the left shoulder, also controlled by the left hand, is a large gun. It has two settings. A burst spray of molten plasma, or a focused, charged shot, both useful, both lethal. Able to aim anywhere except to the right, it's a very useful option while charging an enemy. 
 
History: Born on a planet a few sectors away from his home planet of Terra Nattonva was sent there after he had fully matured at the age of four (Teterian puberty is quick, brief and painful, especially for the males) to learn the ways of his people. How to be a good, hard working member of the community, how to have the right mind and how to be loyal to the Teterian way of life. That everyone is deserving of their share, as long as they work for it, shaking of the ropes of greed and selfishness that tie other races down into petty squabbles. 

He was also trained as a fighter, for that was the job he felt he could do, and once he was certain that was his role in life, he got his face tattooed, like all Teterians do when they settle on a job. For the next few decades he was jumped around the galaxy, working on different planets for the Teterian Security Company. He did jobs ranging from being a bouncer, to a body guard, to just plain looming over people being scary. Through his job career he managed to do many things, from proving to a drunken guy at a pub that size does matter when trying to talk down to people (The drunk guy thought he could give Nattonva a telling off for interrupting his 'Flirting' with several females of various races), to saving a tree from a cat. Yes, you read that right. 

But it was when he was assigned to guard an expedition to a new system that his adventure in this place will truly begin. Attacked by Space Pirates, he was forced into an escape pod to get away, crashing on the nearest habitable planet. A planet ruled by many four legged creatures. Proving once and for all that no matter how strange you think life is, it can always get stranger. 

Personality: Kind, caring, protective and honour bound, like mostly all Teterian Males, Nattonva is a gentle giant, until you piss him off severely or hurt his friends. If that's the case, you're about to have your spine become a scarf wrapped tightly around your own neck. If he'd feeling in a fun mood. Normally you'll just end up missing a few things and being expanded over several feet. 

Current Home: Under the tree with the most waterproof branches around in the near vicinity.
