Wayward Souls (private)

The angel looked down at Lightning, his expression softening with concern. "Oh my poor dear, he must have you enthralled in his dark magic. You can fight it though, and it'll be easier the farther away from him you are," the angel said as he suddenly scooped up Lightning and quickly hovered away from the shop, not stopping even as they rounded a corner and it disappeared from sight.

Lightning had had enough and without warning released about 50% of her life fouce in and explosion, the more this guy talked the more she wanted to act like her old foal sitter

The explosion caught the angel off guard completely, and sent him flying off. He skidded along the ground until a building stopped him abruptly. "Ugh, you little," the angel began as he stood back up and once more brought himself to a hover. "Can you not feel the demon's hold over you? He is the enemy here not me, but fear not. Once he's vanquished, all power he holds over you will vanish and you'll be free again," Rev continued once again forming his bow as he prepared for combat against Brim.

"stop... FOCUSING ON MY FRIEND AND FIGHT MEE YOU BARSTARD" she yelled as she began stealing small amounts of other ponies energy to recharge.

"Miss, I mean you no harm, but I can't guarantee your safety if you insist on interfering in this matter," Rev replied, his expression rapidly losing the pity it had previously held for Lightning. "I implore you to stand aside, but nothing, not even you, will keep me from vanquishing the demon scourge that has come to this town," he continued nocking the arrow into his bow but he didn't draw in back yet. His eyes lingered on Lightning more to see if she'd finally listen to reason.

she began drawing more energy than she needed and began to activate her mana batteries, her aura now super charged and visable. it was goldish yellow with a small purple spec on it. "you obviously dont understand, you will leave or there isnt a soul that could stop me" her voice now mono tone.

"I am sorry my little pony, it would seem the demon's influence on you is too deep," Rev said finally noticing the draining effect on the other ponies in the area, yet his own remained untouched. "I will try to make this as quick as possible," Rev said before taking to the air and releasing the first magically made arrow. The green bolt crackled with energy as it sailed towards Lightning at an astonishing pace.

Rev however seemed to keep true to his word as he was suddenly above Lightning, and firing a second arrow straight down on her. Hopefully it'll only take these two, I can't waste too much time after all with the puppet while the puppeteer is still on the loose, he thought to himself, not at all happy with what Brim's eradication was requiring.

Her aura was a solid wall of magic energy, and those arrow began be absorbed, she flew up, level with him. "You are a freak of nature and do not deserve your existence I tried to reason with you, but I supose some ponies don't get it, if princess Celestia, were here you wouldn't be a problem, but I guess you'll have to deal with the next thing" her aura vanished but could be felt, "your move, but I swear if you try using those arrows on me, I will not make it pretty" she said getting her stance right.

"I tried to make this quick mortal, I am sorry," Rev continued forlornly but still as serious, as he fired off another arrow at Lightning, this one of a foreign energy. Almost at the same time there were two more flying at the hovering mare, one from below and the other from behind. Rev himself however for the moment disappeared from sight.

Lightning dodged to the left then teleported down to the the ground and then again to brim.

Brim was startled as Lightning teleported back into the building, and he looked at her with a start. "Lightning? What's going on," he asked as he began to reach for her, only to pull his hoof back again as the intense aura started to affect him as well.

I could have sworn...hmm no matter. Brim-" she began to lift the carpet in the corner and blasted a a small tunnel into the ground,"go down there and don't come out until I come back and pull the carpet back over" she ordered before turning to the ponies in the cafe area "you saw nothing, your good ponies and I trust you" she then teleported back outside.

Brim reluctantly obliged, though as soon as Lightning had left he went back to poking an eye out so he could see. Once Lightning teleported back outside though, she'd barely have a chance to blink before another blast of the foreign energy was sent crashing down at her from above.

Lightning looked up fazed and the beam struck her, but suddenly she vanished, it was a fake, and this was all happening as a beam of lightnings own special blend of 5 energies including curution, the venom of magic corsing at the angel from 2 to 3ft away.

Rev was about to move out of the way of the blast, but then he suddenly seemed to change his mind and instead raised his bow to block the blast. While some of it was stopped, the energy bow shattered before the beam was finished but even then Rev didn't dodge the blast. The slightly staggering figure continued to hover on his glowing wings, though there were scorch marks about him and he was panting slightly now.

Rev then looked back at the building he was in front of and let out a sigh before turning back to face Lightning. "You will not stop me from killing that demon mare. He's a menace to this world and nothing but misfortune will surround him until he's sent back to the pit he crawled out of," Rev called out before disappearing again, but this time there was no additional arrows and it seemed he'd left the area.

Lightning teleported to brim with a face to say "you couldn't just do as I said could you" then smiled that's all was over hopefully

Brim wasn't where she left him, or in the area around the building. There were several ponies however that were looking at Lightning with a mix or caution and fear. None of them seemed to want to get too close to the pony who was just fighting an angel, one mother even pushed her foal protectively behind her, though none spoke.

"Where is my friend, has that thing.. Taken him hm, what even was it for that matter do any of you know?" She asked as perplexed as consern washed over her face.

Most didn't respond with anything to Lightning's inquiry while a few shook their heads to say no. The little foal that had managed to work her way back in front of her mother silently pointed towards the door though.

Lightning smiled and nodded giving the filly a almost never seem 10000 bit coin before leaving and tuning to brims energy signiture and readying to teleport.

Brim's signature was on the edge of town and steadily moving away at a decent clip. Wherever he was going, Brim was in a rush to get there. Several ponies though were still watching Lightning with unease when she exited the bakery though.

She locked in to said signal then teleported to that location in a defencive stance, all whiles recording and syphasising the foren energy.

The foreign energy simply wouldn't comply, what lingered of it didn't even pick up on the scanners as it was completely unrecognizable and already fading away.

Brim however would prove to be a much easier challenge, as he was simply running. Even when Lightning appeared, it only caused the demon to stagger for a moment before he continued running despite nothing chasing him.

((It's an energy not native to this world, it's of a completely different nature than the magic here so it doesn't mesh or pick up as magic. Like if you tried to mix water and oil, they're both liquids but no matter how much you try, they just won't really mix.))
