Game: The Investigation ((Adv., Gore, Anthro))

Sword swung, and felt his blade graze off the creatures hide. "Not too surprising.... Quickly he flash stepped 50 yards away from the creature, Merodi following him in the same manner, hand reaching out and grasping her from the air. "Merodi no Rekuiemu, Overedge." He commanded, the hollow portions of the blade now taking one a vibrant blue edge. He then pressed the blade together, melding them into one, and sheathed Merodi no Rekuiemu. Turning so his back would face the creature for a split second, he extended his off-hand. "Hado 58, Tenran." The vortex came forth again, this time Sword jumping a foot off the ground, using the hado to launch himself at the creature again like a rocket, one hand now grasping the sheathe while the other firmly grasped the hilt. As he reached melee range, he drew his sword as fast as he could, it now 6 times sharper, and carrying the weight of 6 swings behind it as he slashed anew at the strange aberration.

Sakura barely takes a moment to watch her blade skitter off the hide of her target before she's already flash-stepping back and then laterally, endeavoring to stay out of the vision of the creature so it's at least deprived of one way to keep track of her.
{Sakura, you must call forth my power or retreat. This enemy is too much for me in this state.}
I won't reveal your power until I must, or when it can have the deadliest effect. She pauses and sheathes her zampakuto although she keeps her hand on its pommel.
{What are you doing?}
I'll need both hands. If I hold it it place long enough, it may allow him to prepare his most deadly blow and remove it from the game. If that doesn't, we'll have a delay enough.
{Ninety-nine?}
I don't think anything less will bind it effectively.
{Full-incantation Part One, full-song Part Two.}
No incantation Part Two and then a full incantation when I've caught it.
{Shield first.}
Not enough time.
{There's always enough time. You must full-incant when the opportunity arises or it may never stop.}
Sakura paused a split second. Yes. Be prepared, my friend... I will need you shortly.

Sakura flash-steps again just as Sword activates his Overedge and turns away from the creature, then extends her arms out to her sides with the palms facing her target.
"Heddle plucked from sun, moon, and stars before the gimlet eye towards the foe."
Threads of violet reitsu snake into existence and flow up her arms towards her open palms. She then crosses her middle and ring fingers of both hands.
"Shuttle dancing lightly over chains threaded with malice aforethought, deflected."
The threads of reitsu dance about and weave into bands of spiritual cloth. She then entwines pinkie and pointer fingers and presses them against the still-entwined middle and ring, even as Sword calls his hado and leaps towards the vortex.
"Reeds combed over with battens of silken rope to entwine in the shackled power."
She brings both arms forward to point at the creature and bends her elbows to right upward angles in a sharp motion as the spiritual fabric flies upwards in as if flying off of an invisible loom as the vortex catches Sword and flings him towards the foe.
"Endless cascade of prickling needles trapping velvet prisons of unruly violence."
Bolts of bright reitsu appear behind her and she brings her two hands together such that her thumbs cross.
"Bakudo 99 and 1! Kin!"
The spiritual fabric flies at the abberation and wraps around its body and limbs, seizing them and pulling as the bolts of reitsu fly forward, hammering through the "cloth" and into the ground.

She pauses only long enough to see that the first bakudo worked before spreading her fingers wide and curving them forward. She then drops to her knees and slams her fingers into the ground, causing a wave of shining white reitsu to cascade towards the aberration and flow around it.
"First Song - Halting Wrap!"
The fabric tightens and seems to flow through the first bakudo, keeping the first binding while adding its own. Sakura raises her hands from the ground and spreads her arms, curled fingers facing the aberration as metal rods pop into existence and rocket towards the bound creature.
"Second Song - Hundred Sealing Bolts!"
The bolts slam into the bound creature and embed themselves in it. She then closes her fingers and faces he two palms towards one another... and then slams them together.
"Final Song - Third Ban Great Mount!"
A metal cube materializes above the aberration and rockets downwards.
"Bakudo 99 and Two! Bankin!"

Krix watched Storm and Arc went off to go inspect the two surviving reapers, and then to look over towards Sword and Sakura as they continued to deal with the new creature. Lastly, he turned back to the hollow, his one good eye looking rather calm despite the intensity of the scene unfolding around them. Shifting his shield so that it was simply resting on his arm, Krix sat down for the moment so that he was still facing towards Sword, Sakura, and the weird new creature, placing the Sake in the sands as he got out a couple cups.

"I'm sure they'll be fine," Krix started while uncorking the bottle and beginning to fill the small containers with the alcohol. "If they can't defeat such a foe, then I'm confident those two will be able to retreat back easily enough. For now though, why don't you give me some details on what's happened. Here," Krix paused while offering the hollow one of the cups. "Drink and calm yourself so you can speak clearly, then start from the beginning," he went on before grabbing his own cup and sipping his Sake down pleasantly while awaiting the hollow to begin speaking and/or for Arc and Storm to return with their reports.

Storm halted in mid air quickly scanning to make sure the area was safe before landing next to his squad mates. He quickly checked them for a pulse and any major injuries. "Wake up. What are you doing just sleeping here? Wake up you lazy good for nothings I have questions." Storm said a little angry that they were just sleeping but made worse by releasing his zanpakuto. He shook the mare a little to try and wake her. "Wake up Storm Blower, What happened?" The two seemed to be fine the bruises even seemed to be smaller than the ones they normally received after sparing with Storm. "Wake up already!" He shouted at them.

The dog watched as Sword made his way towards it and yet it didn't move out of the way. It seemed to be slightly more focused as it readied it's tendrils and pointed it at the Soul Reaper. Soon, the beast would be restrained by the kido causing it to widen its stance to even stand before ultimately slipping and falling because of the sand shifting under. It might been able to miss Sword's slash or even have the kido move in the way of the attack if the Soul Reaper had timed it wrong. If he still managed to cut into its hide without hitting the kido Sword would have his blade cut into the "hound's" hide and leave a small scratch on the creature. If he had hit the kido it wouldn't pierce the skin even if it had gotten through the binds.

It started to break further the first kido and it thrashed around wildly on the ground and was quickly wrapped in the second. Once, the bolts pierced the creatures hid it's spiritual pressure dropped slightly. The thing had began to thrash around in the stuff trying to bind it, easily tearing it apart in it's paws. Soon, the rods popped out its skin before it something suddenly appeared next to it, but not being to make much of it because of coming right before the block hit. A bright flash of white blinding came forth from the finishing of the seal and sent a giant shockwave from the falling cube. 

Once, the light faded it be seen that there was another dog was holding the cube along side the other on their backs as if they were some sort of titans carrying the world on their backs. After a brief moment of holding it they unbent their knees and stood up and looked over at the two Soul Reapers. The "hounds" spiritual pressure rose even higher it would end up feeling like as if it was freezing cold and a blazing inferno all at once. The two's outlines being an icy blue and a bright orange of course. They dropped the cube behind them. 

There was not much difference from the two outside the fact the new dog was smaller than the first, but outside of that their wasn't much difference. 

Soon, the dogs' spiritual pressure began to be shrouded with numerous others, all having that strange feeling to them. There were six in total and seemed to be flash stepping towards the scene or at the very least during their variation of it, though their spiritual pressure was a mix between a Soul Reapers and the mysterious other.

The hollow eyed Krix for a moment as he was offered a drink. There was obvious dislike coming from the the Vasto Lorde and instead accepting the offer he looked back at the scene playing out below. "I will drink and explain after this is over because of they get cut, even once. We will need to kill them." While, he was surprised by the fact that the two Soul Reapers were still alive and were not darkened yet. But, still the dog had been in the slow part of the day and the hollow knew that slow meant it was stronger, but yet slower.

Soon, the small hollow shock and trembled at the second dog, touching the place his mask should have been. "RUN!!!!" The hollow yelled out as it looked down at the dogs and not even paying attention to the six others.

The Soul Reaper would simply stay silent as she looked up at her higher up. She winced as she slowly got herself up. "Wow, even in here I got an annoying alarm clock." The mare muttered and watched as Gale slowly get up as well. The stallion seemed to have injuries worse the originally though since the pegasus had held his side. Soon, the two would freeze up as they felt the pressure from down below. "The hounds." Blower said as she looked over at her higher up and unlike her fellow Soul Reapers she didn't have her zanpakuto on her while Gale's had his laying a little distance away from him.

Accepting the anticipated slight given the animosity that had always existed between soul reaper and hollow, Krix drank his own cup with a simple shrug. He didn't however pour himself a second drink, preferring to keep some show of respect for the hollow that had bothered to warn time and again about this mysterious new enemy. As Krix stood however, he gave a pause before hurriedly drawing out a small pouch of black powder that was deposited on the ground. using handfuls of the stuff, Krix drew quick symbols on his paws, arms, and the ground.

The reason for Krix's pause however was what was just said and repeated, and with his mind whirling from the possible realization that he desperately hoped was false, Krix began his incantation. "Black and white net. Twenty-two bridges, sixty-six crowns and belts. Footprints, distant thunder, sharp peak, engulfing land, hidden in the night, sea of clouds, blue line. Form a circle and fly though the heavens, Bakudo number 77, Tenteikūra," Krix recited and then held his arms in front of him.

While the kido might have taken a little time to set up, it was far better than risking a distraction in such a dangerous encounter. The webwork of lines exploded outward to show the activation of the communication kido as it reached out to the minds of squad members. "Sakura, Sword," the captain began mentally stating in their minds. "Retreat for now since you two have fought this new creature and seen some of it's power. We need to discuss what we're up against with the ones who know the most about it. Also, suspicion leads me to believe their cuts are fatal, even possibly with nothing greater than a simple nick, exercise extreme caution in your retreat and give the enemy no openings against you." When Krix was finished, the glow from the kido dispersed and he let out a sigh hoping the two would heed his orders. The piece of mask, the abandoned sword, this was all leading to a few conclusions he really dreaded.

Sword flash-stepped back a hundred yards, seeing that he was able to penetrate the creatures hide with just his six-fold slash with his shikai.

We can kill it... but not as we are now...."

"Indeed Merodi... It'll take nothing less...

"Don't hold back."

"Bankai."

Sword stabbed his primary blade into the ground as he spoke, it vanishing as his spiritual pressure flared, his blue spirit energy now raging outwards from him as he raised his secondary sword. "Arise, Burēdo no Shinfonī." As he invoked the name of his Bankai, out of the ground rose a thousand blades, each bearing the same appearance of his shikai
