Mecha Show Expo! (Open)

Indicus saw the new hole in the side of the enemy mechs head and focused fire on it with mortars and pulse laser fire hoping to further damage the mech. Though he was weary of any movement of the minotaur mech making sure to keep his jet pack hot so he could move as needed.

An Idea formed in Indicus's head acting on it Indicus created a flow of magic to the mortar an pulse laser chambers causing the weapons to glow with a misty black aura and then continued to fire both weapons now hitting a bit harder then before possibly posing a threat as they pounded on the damaged section of the enemy mechs head.

Dust, her mech's systems fully recharged after the relatively large energy output, started priming some magic-based armor piercing missiles in her other weapon.

Sandy waved back to the couple before following the professor. 
In the werehouse sandy couldn't help ,but look around. "Now that's what I talking about big mech, assault riffle arm. Mini gun... crotch interesting choice, but I not the robot maker." Sandy ears perk wen she heard the conditions. "user manual and I think I could self teach myself, out of curiosity, what would happen if this thing doesn't come back in one piece, price tag wise."

Alpha just watched the couple walk away, a little bit confused at what they meant by "help". Maybe they meant to be talking to someone else? In any case, what was taking Sandy so long? He looked towards the large mech, already engaged with a couple of others.

Nightwing going up close would find next to nothing even resembling an entrance from the bottom up, but wouldn't even have time to safely approach the upper chest area as the Mecha Minotaur blocked the mortar and pulse shots from Indicus with one arm while the other arm raised up high and touched one of the horns to make use of the gathered energy and static by charging through the arm. The whole machine briefly sparked with electricity, and then it used its arm to swing and slap itself in the belly, releasing a thunderous soundwave but a somewhat weakened EMP of its own all around once it did. "Begone, little flies!" Dusty's mech might be alright at keeping some distance, but Indicus and Nightwing might find themselves in some trouble just from the shockwave alone.


Back at the sale stalls, the Prof. gave Sandy a raised brow as he pointed to the entry hatch of the tank-mech hybrid itself. "You'll find the manual inside, as well as the ignition keys and procedure right on top of the compartment holding it. As for the actual price, I can assure you it's at least 10 times what that one arm of yours would be worth... And the price is only gonna get higher if you don't get your pal outside to move it!" At about that time, a few of the workers nearby were waving pipes and smacking at the legs of Alpha's mech while yelling at him to get out of the middle of the lines...

Sandy hopped in the mech. "Destroy the mintour with out getting completely destroy or have to pay for ten time the price of my kitchen. Okay." Sandy closed up the cockpit and turn the mech on. "Umm Professor you may want to move over to the side." after The professor did so Sandy worked in her way back over to alpha. (With jerky motions, a lot of swearing, jurer en francais. and a few bangs on the head) Some how getting to alpha with out killing anyone or blowing anything up. Sandy voice came over alpha radio. "Come on honey we need to kick that bull before it destroy the rest of the date. Hehe."

A few too many Whacks on the head..:

Indicus flew back from the EMP blast and his armor suffered some minor damage if one did not consider the EMP but with the EMP the suit became a potential tomb. He quickly rebooted the system the EMP hardening not letting the blast destroy the electronics but rather just shut them down. The reboot would take twenty seconds in the mean time he put a shield around himself in the case that the enemy wanted to try something.

Nightwing crashed into a vending stall, loosing his sword in the process. Standing with a sore back and a bloody nose, he looked around for it, before spotting something better: a beam scimitar. It seemed a little defective, as the back of the blade had no curve, but had he the time, he would've probably admired it's hilt. As it was, he admired the fact that he was able to turn it on, as it was probably a more effective weapon anyway. He wished he had one of the metal suits that seemed to be around, but unless they came with tutorials, it was probably best left for the professionals.

Stretching out his wings, he noticed almost instantly (and painfully) that his left one was broken. Gritting his teeth, he carefully folded it back and bound it to a piece of broken stall with a length of rope. It was not perfect, but it would last for the time being. He began to approach the Mecha-Taur on foot, using cover and looking for a new way to approach the top. I mean, not like there's some sort of micro-heally bot for my wings.

Considering that Dust's mech was EMP-hardened due to the nature of its primary weapon, she would be fine regardless. What wouldn't be fine, however, would be minotaur should the magic-based armour-piercing missiles she just shot at it connected with its hull.

Razz squeaked and blushed vividly as Ruby leaned in and kissed her on the nose, her entire face turning red at the compliment. She closes her eyes for a moment, placing her mug on the counter and  taking a deep breath, before leaning forward, colliding her lips with Ruby's.

Time seemed to stand still as she stood there, one leg bent up, her lips locked with Ruby's. All of the embarrassment seemed to slowly melt away, replaced with a gentle warmness blossoming in her chest.

Eventually, she broke the kiss, taking a small step back. She giggled quietly, fiddling with the hem of her skirt and smiling.

Alpha looked as he saw the other mech exit the hanger and approach him. He grins and chuckles, the mech standing and holding his massive rifle with both arms. "Ladies first." He says, making way for the mech.

The Prof. opened up a gate for Sandy to pass through, letting her and Alpha move out with no interruptions of any sort. Though Sandy would soon be face to face with a stowaway Turtle Bot that had kept hidden in the compartment till she started to read the manual. "Turtle. I hope you fight better than you bump your head. Turtle." Seems she was stuck with a sassy one.


Nightwing would not be noticed yet, but had to keep moving cautiously in his current state to stay safe. He'd eventually find an abandoned First Aid kit if he chose to keep playing it safe, though it wouldn't fix the wing so much as help keep it stable at best.


As for Dusty and Indicus, their two small mechs would continue to be outclassed by themselves without further aid as the Mecha Minotaur smacked away the missile barrage with a forearm, resulting in only minimal damage to the armor as it had not been caught off guard yet. "Hah! Nice try, but I can see you plain as day from up here, and our machine ain't that slow! Now get over here you two!" The foe threatened as he aimed both arms towards each pilot, and from seemingly under its 'sleeves' shot out two large polymer nettings like cannons in an effort to capture each mech from a distance the old fashioned way.

Dusty's companion waved its arms and whistled frantically to make sure she was alert to get out of the way or prevent capture, where as Indicus' stowaway companion hopped off asking something different from him as he moved about on the ground. "Turtle. Eject. Eject. Eject. Turtle." With his mech disabled for 20 seconds, it would take far too long for him to move safely from the large net with it. Indicus might be better off escaping and getting a bigger mech unless he can pull off a last moment stunt still...

Indicus quickly abandoned his Battle Armor and with a spell ended up back in the hanger. "Metal Bolt I hope your done with those reinforced armor plates because the Star Adder is going to get it's first taste of combat today."

Metal Bolt nodded "..and there the last plate is done and it should be fully functional also Indicus keep in mind it will take about ten minutes to charge the Alpha Strikes power battery so use it wisely."

Plasma Cutter stormed in, "The damn thing hasn't even went through basic testing much lest live fucking combat!! For all we know it's fusion core could meltdown and you will be in a hundred ton fucking nuke!"

Indicus furrowed his brow, "I don't have time for this there is a mech currently attacking and my Battle Armor cant do shit against it so it's this or we all fucking die anyway!"

Plasma Cutter's ears splayed back and she quietly backed away storming for her office space.

Indicus promptly climbed up the nearly fourteen meter tall ladder and flipped some switches turning on the reactor, activating the mech and it's weapon systems, standing at full height it was sixteen meters tall.

Once Indicus could he raced back to the battle careful not to kill anyone on the way upon seeing the minotaur mech he opened fire with his auto cannons each semi auto shot sending four heavy ballistic rounds into the minotaur's torso. As Indicus entered medium range he started firing the PPC's sending two globes of hot purple plasma towards the minotaur all the while Indicus kept on moving.

lightning walked on, deeper into the expo, her eye patch on emotinal settings, surely where she wanted to be was where the exitement was. she created an orb about 7-8 inches in diamiter, spinning it in her hand, it seemed to have no function other that something to fiddle with why looking for entertainment.

Nightwing popped the kit open, and sighed. Linen bandages, painkillers, gauze... Well, I guess this is better than what I've going. He pops the painkillers and takes a few more than recomended, before carefully unbinding his wing and stretching it out. Fortunately, nothing had broke skin... yet. He re-folded it and wrapped it carefully, tying it closely to his body.

Taking a moment to catch his breath, he studied the saber a bit, testing it's capabilities. While on, it seemed to emit heat from the focused energy, leaving burns or melt marks where it cut. It also seemed to be very good at cutting, managing a steel rod with ease.

He poked his head out of the tent and looked around, locking on to the Mechataur and resuming the previous tactic of dartingly chasing it. Hopefully, the creature was as stubbornly focused on it's task as it's namesake. Nightwing would need it to get close enough to get anything done.

(( No wounder why she keep bonking her head and acting loopy, or stupid.))
"Hey save that line for the bed ha." Sandy said over the radio and floor it to the minatour. 
" Scuse me ,out of the way, tank with a minigun nono come threw with rifle mecha behind." Sandy said swiveling in and out of crowds.
If alpha would to listen to sandy her voice seem to be off.

Alpha chucklef again and followed close behind Sandy, making sure he was fully loaded on the way to face thw giant mech. "I'll remember you said that~." He says, pulling the large rack on his giant machine gun to chamber a round.

"Seriously?" Dust muttered, using the assisted jump again to try to jump clear of the rather annoying net, preparing a different type of missile.

Note: Here's a quick reminder of the mech sizes I was given so everyone involved in the fight will know what to watch out for once they're all in the same area for reference(say, for example, you wanna shoot from over or from under someone else):

Sandy's = 10M, thread tank bot

Alpha's = A bit taller than Sandy's, two legged

Dusty's = About 13M, spider-ish shape

Indicus' = 16M, humanoid-ish

"Villains ???" = 25M, Minotaur shape but thicker legs for support

Lightning was surrounded by all sorts of attractions as it were, it was all about having a destination in mind. But if a certain elderly couple passing by was of any interest, she could always listen in on their conversation as the mare spoke to something on her hoof as they walked by Lightning. "... The Lion-V is ready for use, right?"

"It should be, but there seems to be a lot of interference in the airwaves, not to mention there's the matter of optimal response time to look after in merging. We can't guarantee it'll work at 100% capacity around here." Spoke a male voice in return.

"Anything higher than 50% is acceptable, we just have to make sure it can function. Get everyone ready, we're gonna take it out early to fight off another Super."

"What!? You mean as in actual field combat!? But that's n-!"

"You doubt my judgement?"

"Um... No, but we're still in the experimental stage, aren't we?"

"Then this is as good a test as it gets! If we fail, we worked hard for nothing and that's that. Do YOU think we worked for nothing?"

"No way, Professor!"

"Good! I'll see you soon!" And so the couple kept walking quickly to their next destination...


Elsewhere, the Mecha Minotaur easily caught Indicus' abandoned exo-siut, as well as the Turtle Bot nearby, reeling them in with the netting back to its arm rapidly. Fortunately, the Turtle Bot was small enough to jump out mid-air, pop out a handglider from its back, and float away while flapping its arms frantically; But the exo-suit would be effortlessly crushed down partially by the massive hand of the Minotaur. Dusty however, jumped out of the way in time to avoid getting caught, while the netting instead caught some debris roughly 7M in diameter as it went further on and reeled it in as well. The Turtle Bot would eventually land and latch itself onto the approaching Indicus.

Now with Dusty about to counter, and Indicus returning very quickly for a counterattack with a much larger mech, the pilots of the Mecha Minotaur were getting more aggressive as the head part looked at both. "Hmph! We can handle two half-pints just fine! Let's show them our power, men!!" First, one of the Minotaur's arms expanded a round shield from it as if folded out, taking the initial shots made by Indicus for minor damage as it blocked, and then threw both the remains of the exo-suit, which would explode with the rest of its salvo upon hitting something by now, as well as the rest of the debris it gathered with the other arm and the net pulling momentum with ease towards the plasma shots and Indicus' general direction. The head itself was more pointed at Dusty's mech, and it roared as it opened its mouth, a sudden emergence of heat and red coming from it as it prepared to fire something, its horns still sparking...

'mechs, oh mechs' she thought curious about the mares on conversation, 'super? and what was the 'lion-v' probably a mech or power suit, but what about super, some terminology maybe?' she looked around a little to spot what seemed to be an apartment building sized mech fighting a house sized one, and by rule of thumb the big scary one was the bad guys, she began broadcasting a magic sub wave signal to home base the one way signal sent off she began fiddling with her bionic hand on her own.

The thrown exo suit did very minor damage even with the other debris it didn't even cause the Star Adder to even budge from the force. Indicus was within the minimum range to use the flamethrower but waited for the enemy to attack and raise it's own internal heat before using it. Instead Indicus continued moving around and resumed hitting it with his the PPC's and auto cannons this time focusing on the legs or shield arm of the enemy mech with the occasional five second burst of the flame thrower. If the enemy pilots paid attention to their internal heat meter they would know the internal heat of their mech went up steadily with each five second burst of Indicus's flamethrower although the heat did not cause any overheating of the Star-Adder.

Dust grinned, launching another battery of missiles right at the mouth. They are filled with HF acid, a rather extremely corrosive substance. "Can't block this shit," she muttered, starting to move to the side as soon as they were away.

Nightwing flipped the hard-light, purple saber in his hoof and charged the large-sized mechanical beast of myth as quickly and quietly as he could. Upon reaching said hoof, he would begin slashing and hacking until it was no longer balanced, and then run away.

Sandy turn the corner assault rifle blaze at the mintour shooting for the head. "I'm about 2/5 it size this is going to end so well."

Alpha followed behind sandy and fired up his targeting systems. "Target in range." A friendly synthetic voice would say. The mech's 12omm canon would emerge from it's arm and take aim at the giant minotaur's leg. "Target locked. Firing." With a loud boom, the artillery launched, the huge shell ejecting and falling to the ground as the warhead sped through the air.
