Distinguishing Features: Mischievous twinkle in his eyes, silver wire rimmed glasses

Specialty (eg. special spells, unique powers etc): Specializes in analysis magic, especially that of the brain. He can essentially get a cat-scan of someone without having to use a machine. He also has very limited mind reading, he gets impressions of subconscious thoughts, not hearing active thoughts. He can tell if someone is depressed even if on the surface they seem all bubbly and fine.

Weaknesses: If he delves too deep into another subconscious, he can be affected by their depression, anxiety, or whatever they may be suffering from.

Occupation: Public psychiatrist. He has clients and appointments, but he also takes walk-ins and services those who could not afford a private psychiatrist. He is government employed so his services are free and he often is tasked with rehabilitating juveniles and PTSD victims.

History: Frederick was born in Canterlot and has lived there all his life. His mother died before he was old enough to remember her. His father was a medical doctor and thus they were relatively well off. Frederick went to a highly ranked medical school where he study psychology and got his doctorate. After some time in the private field, he was approached by an organization seeking to advance public access to doctors of all kinds, from mental to physical. Frederick discussed it with his father, suggesting they join the organization together, but before they could his father was diagnosed with brain cancer. Shortly after his father's passing Frederick joined the organization for public healthcare and became a public psychiatrist. He has been in the field for five years.

Personality: Despite the early death of his mother and his father passing due to brain cancer, Frederick is rather happy and pleasant to be around. He acts closer to 20 than 30, though he becomes very serious when dealing with serious cases.

Specialty (eg. special spells, unique powers etc): His Wrath is his greatest power. He's easy to anger. but when he's enraged, watch out.
Weaknesses: Whilst his rage is his greatest power, it's also his greatest flaw, due to the fact that he can become lost in it, unable to truly control himself. at most, he could possibly focus this rage. but he is able to have enough control, to not harm those he cares for.
Occupation: Lunar guard, special forces.
Gear: katana which he generally always keeps on him for self defense, or need, but he is also well versed in other blades.
History: As a kid he was bulled due to being so tiny, when he was ten you'd confuse him for being five...The bullies would continue even though they'd pick themselves up off the floor soon after trying to pick on him...But eventually they stopped, after enough beatings. Later, he went to Canterlot, to apply for the guard, specifically the Lunar guard due to his predisposition for the night, and it's own beauty, as it could calm him due to it's calming nature. He managed to excel in fighting, especially with blades and his own naturally brutal fighting style, Combat Sambo. Having earned Luna's favor and her approval, he was assigned into the special forces, being put to work in the more dangerous missions, and rescue ops. once he has time off, he would go to meet with Fleur De Lis, a mare who's known far and wide as a famous model, and as Fancy Pants's Wife, and asked to become a possible body guard for her on occasion, to which he tends to do.
Personality: Genuinely? a nice guy. compassionate to those who love the night, and friendly to most. But you piss him off and he'll be aggressive, and extremely so; At least, he'll be rude, and blunt, though he's typically blunt by nature.
Current Home: Canterlot.
Misc: Favorite type of weapon: Katana, Claymore, and anything made for beserker style of fighting, or slicing. he happens to have a thing for Luna, and loves her dearly as he'll work to protect her. But has also gone out of his way, to protect Fleur De Lis, a local model, multiple times, due to him having a love for her...he also has a thing for exotic mares, and as such fell for the local Zebra of Ponyville, Zecora. In his off time, he would frequently wander the streets looking for things to do. Upon meeting a certain showmare, he shown genuine care for her, and helped her with her things, and treated her to a good dinner, due to him feeling sorry for her, and wanting to be friendly to her, a mare who has nothing, and needs the support. He frequents a bar she works at, and will frequent her shows whenever she tries to do one in town.

Sorry... squeaky wheel gets the grease and since a character that needed no correction was followed by one that needed it (and had a player who talked back at me), I dealt with the problem and forgot the non-problem. This situation is why God (actually, some computer geeks somewhere) invented PMs.

History: He was born in the slums of Trottingham to a very poor family. They couldn't afford to send him to school so they home taught him. When he became 8 he was very smart for his age and he loved every minute with his family. However that all changed when a bunch of crooks came in and ransacked his home and killed his parents right in front of him traumatizing him. He testified in court against them but they were set free. He eventually learned that the crooks paid the cops to turn a blind eye and destroy evidence against them which him despise and distrust cops and the royal guard believing that everypony is corrupt one way or another. He eventually left Trottingham but he got lost in the infamous Everfree Forest. He was attacked by Timberwolves who severely bit and slashed his hooves leaving them paralyzed and unable to move. He was eventually saved by a Griffon and a Zebra who took him in to their cottage in the Forest. The griffon was a technological genius who replaced Night's hooves with mechanical replacements  and the zebra was a voodoo expert and fighting expert who taught him how to fight, defend and survive in the forest and eventually gave him special studies in the ways of life and taught him the skills of stealth. He eventually left them with a thanks and went to the nearest town Ponyville. He began using his skills to kill criminals in the dark and crooked part of it and even took up an assassin gig and is recognized as a vigilante and a menace by the police force and the Royal Guard, more specifically Shining Armor. He's usually hired by rich ponies and usually kills criminals, crime lords and the occasional drug dealer.
Personality: He's very quiet and rarely talks. He has a cold demeanor and an intense anger problem. He believes that everypony is crooked in some way and doesn't trust the legal system or even the Royal Guard and the Princesses. Although he is very honorable and brave and gentle towards the innocent and goes by a code of honor that states that he protects those that can't protect themselves and destroys all that is corrupt and evil.

Misc: He's a mareizer who has a specific charm that captures mares hearts and has an addiction to apple cider.

Weaknesses: Chair doesn't like water, he can’t swim and sinks like a rock in water. Chair is very dumb, impulsive, and prone to accidents, he gets into stupid situations and hurts himself regularly.

Occupation: Furniture repair pony, chair specialist.

Gear: A tan paper bag with only one open eye slot that looks as though whoever made it punched their hoof through the bag to make the hole.

History: Chair was once a simple wooden chair, living his life being sat upon by those who owned him. It was a great life of mediocrity and comfort, lazy weekends and busy weekday afternoons. But all that ended when a self professed master of the mystic arts cast a spell beyond her comprehension. The once simple wooden chair had transformed into a real pony. Despite the frantic efforts by the young unicorn, the chair never reverted back to his original form. And so the adult sized, infant minded earth pony began his life, thrust into a world he would soon find out is much more complicated than being a chair.

Illucy, the young unicorn magician responsible for bringing life to the chair spent the following years raising Chair as if he were a child. While Chair was a fully grown stallion, he had the mental faculties of a newborn baby foal. He needed to learn everything from walking and talking, to eating and going to the bathroom. Of course Chair did have one thing other newborns did not, and that is a memory of the life before this. All his years as a chair granted him two very special abilities, the first was the ability to sit still for hours. A seemingly useless talent to most ponies, but to the one raising him, it was momentary respite from the chaos that is raising a foal. The second was the ability to talk to furniture, mostly chairs, which wasn't discovered until he was taught to speak. As one could imagine, this ability was a lot less welcome than his previous one.

Chair’s early years spent at school went surprisingly well after the initial shock of a grown stallion going to a school for foals. His classmates were quick to accept the implausible explanation of chair turned pony, the developing minds of children are prone to believing the improbable. Even still, he was considered weird, especially when he would talk to other chairs or desks. But he was able to make friends, some who thought his antics were amusing and others who acted just as weird. When his classmates and friends all started getting their cutie marks, Chair was conflicted. He was born with his cutie mark of a wooden chair and he always thought it just meant he was a chair. Just like he thought Illucy was a sparkly pointy hat, in hindsight he sees the error in his thought process. After months of thought on what his cutie mark meant to him, he settled on it being a reflection of his passion for chairs, which was entirely plausible.

In his young adult years, Chair spent his time doing stupid and dangerous things with his friends. Playing pranks on neighbors, adventuring into the nearby Everfree Forest, and other dangerous stunts as any foal their age would pull. In one particular prank to scare a few of their friends, Chair and his best friend, Rain Chaser, dressed up in scary costumes the night before Nightmare Night. They called theirs friends together by the entrance to the Everfree Forest and waited in the darkness of the trees. In sync the two jumped out and tried their best to frighten the three unaware ponies waiting just beyond their hiding spot. While the three were startled by Rain Chaser in his zombie costume, the three ponies ran in terror when they saw Chair. His costume was simple, he had a bag over his head with one eye hole punched through the bag. Normally this poorly put together “costume” would not have scared anypony, but there were a few factors the played up the fright. The fact that the ponies could instantly tell it was Rain Chaser dulled his scare immensely. On the other hoof, the ponies couldn't immediately tell who was behind the menacing paper bag mask. What they saw in the dim moonlight was a stallion larger than any of them wearing a tattered bag to hide whatever terrors lay beneath it. But the driving force behind the scare was the sudden flash of lightning that dissolved the darkness around the eye hole in the bag to show the large bloodshot eye staring at them intently.

Proud of his scare, Chair continued to wear the bag after Nightmare Night to playfully tease his friends. But being the playful pranksters him and his friends were, they quickly got him back by putting glue inside the bag, The next time Chair put the bag on, it glued straight to his head and mane. Try as he might, he couldn't take of the bag without tearing it to shreds or destroying his mane and fur in the process. In response to this, Chair unexpectedly continued to wear the bag at all times, all day every day for weeks. He was no longer just a chair turned pony, but a chair turned pony who wore a bag over his head. A weird outcast of a pony if you ever did see one. Eventually he was able to get it off his head safely with some help from his guardian Illucy, but he didn't stop wearing it altogether. He had become accustomed to the bag and felt naked without it, so he wore it regardless of the stares he got from everypony, he was used to it, being a chair turned pony.

Actually grown up now, Chair took a job as a furniture repair pony who specialized in chair repair. He still wore his bag every day, it was apart of him now, as much of who he was as the fact that he was a chair. He still lives in Ponyville, but his guardian, Illucy, the not so young unicorn magician, moved to Canterlot where she practices magic with the best in Equestria. In his years as an adult stallion, Chair learned quickly just how weird he was. The fact that he wore a bag over his head was enough to wave a warning flag, add in the fact that he talked to the furniture he repaired and things quickly got out of hoof. Combine the fact that he wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed and the prankster side to him, and you got yourself a recipe for disaster. Deciding he wasn't cut out for the boring daily life as a furniture repair pony in Ponyville, Chair declared he would set out on an adventure. He would explore all of Equestria in search for the best and most exotic chairs ponykind has to offer. That is, as soon as he worked up the courage to actually leave the comfort of his home in Ponyville.

Personality: Chair is a very weird pony. As a chair brought to life through magical means, he was already weird, but he also wore a bag over his head at all times which he got stares from. And not only that, he would also talk to furniture regularly. Wrap that altogether with his stupidity, impulsiveness, and clumsiness, and you've got yourself one weird pony.

Distinguishing Features: He's a pissed-off, talking black cat, on the run from the Princess Twilight, who wishes to learn how he talks.

Specialty (eg. special spells, unique powers etc): He'a an immortal cat. He has no magic, no flight, and enjoys chasing mice. (Much to his disgust) However, due to his cat body, he is adept at sneaking into places and learning information that would be normally impossible.

Weaknesses: As a cat, Mittens has a long list of weaknesses: swords, knives, bows, arrows, sticks, magic, chocolate, alcohol, dogs, really I could go on.

Occupation: He's a cat.

Gear: ... He has acquired a set of cat sized armour, and carries a golden ring on his collar.

History: Mittens was not always a cat. Once, he was an orphaned child by the name of Hammer Blow. Hammer dreamed of adventure, and as soon as he was able, left the orphanage where he had grown up, and went searching for adventure and excitement. He made many friends along the way, including one stallion whom he fallen in love with.

However, Hammer's life of journey and adventure was cut short when he discovered the Fountain of Immortality. A signpost lay before the Fountain, declaring what it was, and two simple rules: 1. The drinker must not have evil intentions, and 2. The drinker must maintain a mental image of themselves. Hammer did not believe the sign, and so imagined himself an immortal cat as he sipped from the Fountain.

Unfortunately for Hammer, the sign was an accurate warning, and so he was transformed into a small feline, his gathered equipment, excluding a small golden ring, vanishing.

Hammer, now Mittens, returned to his lover and explained what had happened. The stallion was grief-stricken, and ran from Mittens, cursing him.

Personality: Unlike his former lover, Mittens was not distraught, and is now pissed off at pretty much everyone. Whilst he may be 'good', he does not trust ponies, and enjoys clawing their snouts.

Current Home: Being a cat, Mittens sleeps wherever he pleases.

Misc: Just so we're clear, Mittens is a pissed off, immortal, talking cat.

Occupation: He is unemployed and can normally be found in the hidden depths of the Canterlot Royal Library.
Gear: Note wears a large leather trench coat, which due to his entire body being held together by ancient magic can be changed into a leather cover.
History: Note was once the son of the Crystal Empire's Scribe. He grew up around literature and thirst for it as if it were his life source and purpose. Turns out it was. When his father died and he took over as Scribe he began to delve further into literature, his goal to understand both the Æther, source of all magic, and the universe that bound far on from the empire he lived in. Sombra, came into power 7 years after he became Scribe. It was then that he began to rampantly delve into darker magics and his knowledge brought havoc upon him. When Celestia and Luna went to liberate the Empire it had fallen to its darkest moment, Note had fallen to his darkest phase at this time.
On the day that they went to liberate it, on the day that the empire disappeared, he was pitied and cursed into what he is now. He reached his goal, but at the cost of not just his sanity and his real body, but the remains of all sanity in his king. He broke not one but two minds in his quest and further rained down Sombra's greed. But still he was pitied for he had only wanted to reach such a perfectly corrupt, but innocently childish goal. All knowledge. He had reached this goal, but lost everything that held himself in this kingdom from falling. He was banished to the second form of his body for what he did and locked deep away in the inner most section of the Canterlot Royal Library. Bound shut for all time to delve in what he had wanted, that was his prison. 
During the changeling invasion Chrysalis in a attempt to gain complete success in what was become of her plot. When she broke the seal binding him he told her to stop and simply vanished from the library escaping from the psuedo-alicorn queen and alicorn princesses.
Personality: Note has become very automated, all the way to the point of he doesn't actually seem equish.

Distinguishing Features: Her body is , much like a glow-stick, easy to tell when she breaks something as she starts glowing where she cracks. (Explained further in Gear)
Specialty (eg. special spells, unique powers etc): Organization and Memorization
Weaknesses:Applied pressure, Rough Physical contact, too much movement at a over-exerting pace.
Occupation: Lead organizer of Cloudsdale's weather team schedules.
Gear: Several braces on her lower and upper legs (like unneeded splints to help her hold more pressure before her bones snap) she has 17 on each of her wings that connect into a splint when she breaks a wing, where as her wings turn crimson (not from blood, it's a spell doctors put on her so people can tell when something in her wing is broken, same with every other bone in her body.) the rods on her back are extremely flimsy and flexible like a chain, but durable and enchanted to float just a hair off her back and sink in with the weight, although they themselves are enchanted to not weigh anything. They have a defensive format that will activate if she feels threatened and further push from her body and will not budge until she calms, however this will only effect physical contact. Other than that most always she carries a enchanted journal that has endless amounts of bookmarks, it holds three thousand pages worth of notes on simply weather, as well as the weather schedules from 3 years back to current day.
History: At birth, her parents found out that she too weak to live in Pegasi Society so they ended up arguing a lot with what to do with her. Her father couldn't deal with just abandoning her and neither could her mother, unable however to move away from work and unable to just leave her in another's arms. After a small family trip for dinner in Ponyville they discovered a small earth pony farmer that lived far out from town. Deciding it was better for her to live somewhere her body could grow stronger like the ground first, they made up there mind. In one month during the next big rain storm they would leave her with this mare.
  At four months she was left in the care of a orange earth pony mare. She while in a odd position she was raised as the farmer's own. Having a proper up bringing and growing up like the other fillies and colts her age until she had had both front legs and her left wing snapped like twigs when one of the few colts tripped and bashed into her from the front. Her "Mom" found out that day her daughter had brittle bones and was as of that point excluded permanently from playing any sports or game that required full body weight pressure to be applied onto her. That day was one of many traumatic experiences as the doctors had to snap her other wing and he had taken away all the fun games. All she had left were books, and her Mom. She ended up being removed from school and being home schooled, after doctors had told her mother of her abnormal memorization skills, while she helped her Mom work the fields since carrots were quite easy to pick and nothing was too over exerting. Over time she lost her connection to other ponies as her social circle shrunk to one.
  At age fifteen she had taken a test certifying her a graduate of the board of education in Equestria, and went off to help research ways to help other ponies with the same problems as herself. For the next three years she was tested on for ways to be able to hold more laboring and dangerous loads, she stopped growing about a third from normal height in this time frame and ended up gaining her cutie mark as well after organizing the notes that had been scrambled one afternoon, having memorized each page. After that day she helped construct the light-weight metal semi-splints that allow her to fly as of present times.
Personality: Shy, honest, and above all serious. Being a bit slow in social situation considering her lack of proper exposure to others, seldom does she click with other pony's emotions in a short period. Being born with a abnormally high level of memorization skills, she never was taught nor needed to be taught something after she read it.
Current Home: A small cloud home not far from Ponyville or Cloudsdale.
Misc: She has consistent breakdowns that developed around the age of 15 when she only grew to about a third shorter than other mares had at her age and stopped growing, when next to anypony tall she reverts into a ball and starts to bite herself as a soothing mechanism. When drunk she remains mentally capable for thinking, talking, and listening correctly, however she is incapable of actually walking straight while drunk. Her hangovers are also a bit different as well, instead of headaches she will simply not remember anything after she started getting buzzed.

Name: Spring Heart
Race: Free-willed Changeling, Changelings who have broken from the hive mind and have independent thought. Some of them go crazy with the free-will and end up committing suicide or going on violent rampages, others come to grips with the freedom and either attempt to start a hive of their own or attempt to join the pony society. Most of those who join society do not have cutie marks, as they do not think it would be right to give themselves one when cutie marks are supposed to show one's talents. Heart is one who has fully embraced her new freedom and has successfully joined society. She is an official citizen of Equestria and was given her name upon becoming a citizen.

History: She was a caretaker in the hive nursery until one day she woke up self aware. She has no idea what caused her self-recognition, as most of the free-willed changelings do not. For sometime she tried to hide it and blend in, but she was found out by another self-aware changeling who recruited her into a growing revolutionary group. Before they could make a decisive move though, the rebels were discovered by the queen and imprisoned. They were used as some of the earliest test subjects for Chrysalis' dream-world spell. She managed to escape one night when one of the other prisoners caused a commotion. While fleeing from the hive, she ran into Rain Blade, who was on a patrol by himself. She convinced the lonely stallion of her situation and offered herself to him for food. Eventually an actual relationship grew between the two and shortly after it did they were both captured by a squad of changelings. She was tortured and forced to watch Rain Blade live out in his dream world perfectly content without her. When the ponies attacked the hive she was rescued along with the other self-aware changelings and the ponies who had been kidnapped. After some social reforms she was granted citizenship in Equestria and a name of her own. She now resides in Canterlot with Rain Blade/Flare.
Personality: Does her best to be friendly to everyone, but tends to stay at home to avoid judgement

Weaknesses: Sonata is forgetful and a little scatter brained aside from when she's playing or shooting. She's also highly phobic of bladed weapons after the incident where she got her scars. Even knives are a source of worry for her, though she can at least tolerate their existence so long as they're in her grasp or somepony she extensively trusts.
Occupation: Currently, she plays wherever she can for just about any amount. She's also not above a bit of thievery to get what she needs.
Gear: First and foremost is her violin, her cherished possession that she will try and save over everything else. Two pistol crossbows with spring loaded fold out limbs, a fairly powerful bow and plenty of arrows/bolts for their respective weapons.

History: Sonata grew up in the country side near the small town of Brambles. At an early age, she learned how to shoot a bow and took a liking to the craft. Her ability soon had her attending some competitions where she usually placed and occasionally won. Despite all the hard work however, a cutie mark never appeared, that is until one competition where her attention was captivated by some musicians playing nearby.

After the competition, Sonata's relentless questions about the performers and their instruments finally broke her fathers resolve and he acquired an old violin for the young mare. Sonata took to playing the instrument relentlessly, practicing constantly, and driving her parents insane with the squeaky scratchy noise that she called her first performances. Her first actual performance, for others, however would yield better results as it was actually decent and by the end of it she had a new mark along her flank.

Sonata continued to pursue her new passion of playing not only the violin but several string instruments, and gradually rising in fame and talent, though she never achieved the level of prestige that others, like Octavia who Sonata holds as a personal hero, have. Playing concerts, private gigs, and even common parties, Sonata just enjoyed being able to play. That however changed when the Magi-tech incident occurred (see Zen's history) and the concerts stopped.

In the aftermath of the disaster, Sonata managed to hide and survive in one of the crumbling concert halls for quite some time, but when the structure actually came crashing down, she escaped it only to be caught by one of the gangs that had formed. While in their custody, Sonata was treated horribly, and even acquired the scars over her eyes when she refused to comply, the memory of which still haunts her.

Eventually though, the gang picked a fight they couldn't win and as they were slaughtered by a red coated airship pirate and his crew, Sonata thought her life's performance was finally at it's end. It was surprising to say the least when instead of death, the pirate brought the mare aboard his ship and saw to it she was taken care of, even going so far as to fly to the collapsed concert hall to recover her prized violin she'd hid away for safe keeping.

Even though it was a farcry from her usual audiances, being able to play for any audiance brought new life to the mare, and from that point on Sonata decided she was going to stay on with the pirate. Wanting to do more than just play for them, Sonata picked back up a bow and even a couple of small crossbows since they were cheaper than rune guns, and assisted the crew in their antics. When Zen left the city though, Sonata followed him before going her own way out into the new world.

Personality: Sonata's a bit rowdy and a little bitter sweet, but she usually means well. She doens't handle critique well though, of her musical or archery talent.

Specialty (eg. special spells, unique powers etc): The Maternis Queen of the seven-queen council that governs the changeling race, Amaryss can tap into the subtle love energy of her entire race to "supercharge" her magic in most circumstances although with her advanced age has come a considerable skill with and knowledge of magic that renders such crude displays (in her mind) hideously gauche. Her special talent centers around plant life of all kinds with an unusual gift with flowers, and plants will typically be much more amenable to her will.
Weaknesses: For being the most powerful changeling mare alive (at least in terms of political powerful, given her royal position), Amaryss tends to be quiet and introverted, which has led to her sister Malyss being the de-facto Maternis Queen. She also has practically no ability with the greatest and most terrible weapon of the changeling race, the induction curse, and this leads to her being perceived as extremely weak and perception is often reality in the circumstances Amaryss moves in.
Occupation: Maternis Queen of the Changeling Hive Septarchy.
Gear: Amaryss wears the heart-shaped fire gem, the Thorn Crown, and the long silk robe that denotes her position and authority in the septarchy although she only wears the gem except on special occasions. On the battlefield, she wears a suit of articulated plate-mail that was a gift from the royal armorers of the Equestrian diarchy, and carries six scimitars that rest in sheaths on her sides. Although excellent examples of their craft, they're not magical.
History:
AUTHOR'S NOTE: The changeling exile is meant to take place just weeks prior to Luna being banished.
Amaryss was the first-born daughter of Queen Sisyphis du Fjord bar Orthopa and Crown Prince Magisteris and it was fairly clear from the first that much was expected of her. Exhaustive tutoring on all manner of subjects, frequent trips abroad to make her cosmopolitan, and admission into the very prestigious Luna Royal Academy of Magic gave her all the intellectual foundation to take the crown and throne of Maternis Queen when her mother eventually passed away. There was one small problem: Amaryss was almost cripplingly shy and suffered from pathological social anxiety. The idea of being a queen and constantly in public terrified her and led to frequent bouts of insomnia and the accompanying illnesses that came from improper sleep. It's a testament to her sheer natural ability and keen intellect that she remained constantly at the top of her class while being so sleep-deprived she'd frequently fade in and out of consciousness in the middle of conversation, but it was abundantly clear that she'd be a horrible queen. A solution was needed, and a solution was devised: Amaryss would be the power behind her own throne and her sister Malyss would be the face of the Maternis Queen.

Blinded by a need for a proper Maternis Queen (on the part of her parents) and by an innocent trust and familial love (on the part of Amaryss), no one in her life was able to see that quite the opposite of her tolerant parents and highly cultured and accepting sister, Malyss was a seething racist who loathed the other three races of ponykind and saw them as little more than herd animals for the genetically superior changeings to feed on. With Sisyphis on the throne, there was no way for Malyss to express these toxic ideas--but then she was made de facto heir to the throne. The trend towards changelings ceasing to shrug off the natural pony nervousness at their unusually insectoid appearance and starting to play tit-for-tat dates to approximately the time of Malyss taking her place at the head of the council of the seven queens. Kind, brimming with goodwill, incredibly intelligent, and preferring to avoid the limelight, Amaryss remained largely unaware of the true nature of the younger sister she viewed through the rose-colored lenses of fond nostalgia. It wouldn't be until the tension became too great for even Amaryss to be oblivious to that she finally left her safe places and took a real look at what the world was like. This coincided with the wedding of Malyss to a Crown Prince in total accord with her, and as Amaryss drifted among the guests and heard and saw the poison flowing from one haughty changeling noble to the next, the scales dropped from her eyes and she saw precisely what had come of the kingdom that was her birthright.

In all of her scheming and racist provocations, Malyss had entirely forgotten that she was merely a placeholder on a throne not her own--and that Amaryss sat in the shadows because she was shy, not because she lacked the will and power to lead her people. Amaryss quite literally blowing her through a solid marble wall in a fit of horror-fueled anger brought all this home in an extremely painful way. Amaryss put her younger sister in chains and called an immediate gathering of the other six queens to try and find some way to reverse the building cycle before the problem forced the Royal Sisters, Celestia and Luna, to take drastic measures. Amaryss was far, far too late: nearly half of the queens practically laughed in her face and the increasingly violent and deadly interchange between changelings and the other race had spun outside the ability of even the extraordinarily gifted Amayrss to resolve. Within a week of her awakening to her sister's malicious nature, Celestia announced that she'd determined the only way to save lives: the changelings would be exiled to the wastes in the east. Amaryss recognized that the exile was the next best thing to a death sentence and so went to Celestia to plead for her people but in the imperious Princess of the Sun, she felt that she saw a mirror of her racist sister. It was possibly one of the tensest moments in Equestrian history for while Amaryss could not overpower Celestia in a fair fight, the Sun Princess had little understanding of just how powerful a Maternis Queen of the changelings was and it's considered possible that Amaryss could have struck Celestia down to save her people if she had chosen. Amaryss, however, was not the monster the other races imagined and she humbly (and with immense sadness) accepted that the chickens had come home to roost and that the changelings would pay for her sister's evil.

The exile split the changeling race into the three queens that remained loyal to Amaryss and trusted her to do the right thing, and the three that thought Malyss was right and that they should take out their humiliation on the other pony races to prove a point. Amaryss took the majority of the changeling peoples east while the rebels disappeared into the Everfree and were counted as dead to the now quadrarchy. In the east, which had never been truly explored, Amaryss discovered that her people were not the only exiles and that both the gorgon Maredusa and the entire race of the giant birds called rocs were happy to band together for mutual survival in what were believed to be utterly desolate wastes. A quick aerial survey, however, proved that the wastes were nothing of the sort: centered around an immense mountain far to the east was enough water and fertile soil to permit the exiles to survive until Celestia rescinded their sentence.

History, however, would take a different path.

It took very little time for the news of the budding war between Luna and Celestia to reach the changelings and with it came a call for any great warrior to enter a proxy contest of sorts to decide who would rule Equestria. The pay would be a single wish from the winner of the contest to be chosen by each participant. Already very fond of Luna and seeing her victory as the only possible way for her people to return to their true home under the auspices of the Dual Thrones, Amaryss journeyed west and taking a disguise, threw her lot in with Luna's forces. Her wish is a simple one: "Let us come home."
Personality: Amaryss is very shy and suffers from social anxiety, although neither trait is crippling any longer. Her basic disposition is slightly affectionate and selflessly kind, and she tends strongly towards the philosophy "speak softly and carry a big stick."
Virtue: In her selfless concern for her people, for all ponies, and her willingness to unhesitatingly give whatever it takes to help and elevate them, Amaryss embodies the virtue of generosity.

Name:Eqbotanium
Race:Eqbotanium is a golem created out of a blend of engineering and spellcasting. Since he was created by some college ponies, he's prone to random glitches and such. He has the form of an earth pony, but definitely looks metallic.
Age:Between one and two years since creation. He looks like a fully grown stallion.
Alignment:Good. He has a very poor concept of morality, having no idea of moral grey zones or anything of the sort. This makes him act somewhat like a paladin, with a 'Right is Right' mentality. Really, he just doesn't like seeing ponies hurting each other.
Mane:Eqbotanium has a copper colored mane that terminates raggedly a couple inches long.
Coat:He has a grey coat that tends to be more often dirty than not due to his dislike of water.
Cutie mark.: He has a gear symbol engraved on his flank where a pony would have a cutie mark. Under the gear, the words "In Honor of Bright Sparks" are also engraved.

Specialty (eg. special spells, unique powers etc):He can perform complex feats of mathematics and perform computing tasks in his head. As well, he has electromagnets in his hooves so that he can hold tools and other metal objects in his hooves.
Weaknesses:He tends to have random mechanical, mental, and magical faults. As well, he has issues with taking things very literally and getting confused with vague directions, the bad side of having a computer-like mind. As well, magical spells and potions have a negative effect on him related to their intended effect.
Occupation:He is currently unemployed, and is seeking a job as a craftspony. However, he'd take any job offered to him.
Gear:He has a set of tools given to him by his creators, which he cherishes. He also has saddlebags to store his money and other things he may come across. He carries no weapons or armor, as he considers them unnecessary.
History:He was created by a team of engineers as a capstone project. He was originally intended to be a simple robot, but it changed as one of the team unicorns had an unfortunate accident. The complex magical enchantments on Eq snapped suddenly during a late-night session, frying the poor unicorn's brain. It was soon found that Eq had gained some of the dead unicorn's thought processes. In essence, the unicorn had had his mind burned in a magical accident, and enough of that went into Eq to stick and be used as a template. After this change, he was scheduled to spend a year learning concepts normal ponies use in daily life. However, this was cut short by three months as the engineers ran out of bits to fund this. The last hundred bits they had in funding were dropped into Eq's hooves with a pat on the back and a "Good Luck."
He eventually found his way to Ponyville on a combination of being a vagrant and taking odd jobs to pay for transit, wanting to stay in a smaller town because the big city was too chaotic for him. He also was attracted to Ponyville on the promise of employment, which he has yet to find. He carries pretty much all of his possessions in his saddlebags, which was a quite meager list of his tools and his money.
Personality:He is very literal, and has a childlike sense of morals. He tends to be pretty serious, not really understanding humor either.
Current Home:He has no permanent place of residence.
Misc:Certain substances he consumes tends to affect him more and differently than it would a pony. For example, alcohol hits him practically instantly, and it makes him really hyper, but unable to think straight.

History: Born in Las Pegasus, she had a pretty decent childhood as a unicorn, her parents being caring and rich. That was, until she was bitten by a wolf while hanging around in a forest. After the bite (Which her parents thought of as a normal bite) she started having high fevers and even lost consciousness a few times, and after she lost it for the last time, she woke up locked in a cage. Her parents were scared of her new form, and partially acted like she wasn't even their child anymore, even after Tabithi tried to convince them that she is still herself in mind. Her parents soon abandoned her in the forest, where she was forced to start living by herself. After some time of getting used to her hands and not able to use magic due to lack of her horn, she slowly started to make contact with citizens of Ponyville, eventually gaining their trust and asking a local blacksmith to make her some armor and gear. After that, she started traveling, looking to help Equestrians any way she can to gain their full trust.
Personality: Cheerful, but her humor is rather dry.

Specialty: Euforia is an excellent inventor, having a talent for putting together impressively advanced contraptions and other types of machinery to solve problems in creative ways. Blood's specialty lies in agility and combat; her skill with all kinds of weapons, but predominantly her swords, is very advanced. Ice has no special talent per se: she retains some of Euforia's talent with machinery and Blood's swordsmanship, but her main ability lies in her skill with logic, analysis, and just thinking in general.

Weaknesses: Euforia can sometimes be very oblivious to things in general, since she is often caught up in a world of her own, causing her to fail to notice things that might be of critical importance. Ice does not share this fault, but she has one of her own; primarily, that she doesn't have any distinct talent aside from mental capability. Blood's weakness is that essentially her only strength is her combat prowess, since she doesn't think very much or deeply, and often fails to consider important details when making a decision. She is driven by her emotions.

All in all, physically speaking Euforia is not bulky, and relies mainly on her ability to evade rather than take strikes. She will not last long against somepony who can counter her speed.

Occupation: Royal Inventor

Gear: Due to Euforia's abilities as an inventor, she possesses a unique array of gear. She wears a pair of metal shoes on her two forehooves, which can extend blades to create dual hoof-mounted swords like claws, except much longer and with only one blade per shoe. She normally wears a white flowing cloak patterned with roses and a red band around the middle, but with the proper application of force on the right mechanisms it can cause the cloak to retract inwards, shortening, tighten around the band, split down the middle, and snap up stiffened leather shoulder pads. This accommodates Blood's fighting style of manoeuvrability and agility on two hooves instead of four.

She also has a miniature crossbow hidden in her cloak, loaded with three shots. The arrows are small and unlikely to cause any serious damage, but they function mainly as a means to distract an enemy.

History: Euforia was born in a village up in the Frozen North, before the reappearance of the Crystal Empire. However, unlike most in the Iceblood family line before her, she didn't seem to like nor be resistant to the snow; this eventually led to her family moving to the warmer climates in Ponyville.

Having been removed from all her childhood friends, Euforia found herself in an awkward position in the Ponyville Elementary School. She immediately became a favourite victim for bullying, causing her to retreat further into herself and forsake an originally bubbly personality she had while in the Frozen North.

Without anypony willing to talk to her and being too scared to tell her parents about the bullying, she turned to the one pony she felt she could confide in; herself. She spent large amounts of time talking to herself about her troubles and asking for advice, essentially acting as if she was two ponies at once. After a while she almost came to believe it.

Over time, her confidante evolved into two minds. One was logical and analytical, always trying to solve her problems with reason. The other was like a big sister to her, determined to protect her and harm anybody who tried to hurt her.

One day, after a particularly nasty session of bullying, she ran away from the school crying and, without looking where she was going, into the nearby Everfree Forest, where she promptly proceeded to stumble and fall face-first into a patch of poison joke.

She returned home safely - she hadn't run that far in - but the effects were felt just the day after, when she woke up with two new but familiar voices in her head. The poison joke had transformed all three personalities of Euforia; Euforia herself actually returned to her original outgoing self, unhindered by the things that used to get her down; the personality of logic, adopting the first half of Euforia's last name and becoming Ice, retained her natural analytical and logic skills but became much colder in her reasoning, losing many of her scruples and hesitations. The personality of protection, Blood, became less about protecting and more about hurting.

The first few days with Ice and Blood were awkward. The personalities shifted control periodically, as did their eye colour, and it took a few days for all three to understand the mechanics they operated by. After that, however, they became quite the team. Although all three disapproved of each other to an extent, they learnt to put up with it and work as one, and the results were impressive. Blood kept the bullies at bay, Ice lay out the plans to do so, and Euforia's "new" attitude attracted many new friends to her side.

Suddenly, it was as if all her problems were gone. Euforia never seemed to get into any more fights, except the occasional mental argument with Ice and/or Blood, which usually cooled down quickly. She got her cutie mark soon after at Ice's behest, as the latter had been watching and observing trends and suggested an experiment of working with Pinkie Pie, the resident party pony and baker, for a while. Euforia and Pinkie's personalities matched up quite nicely, and although Euforia never really got the hang of baking she did manage to find her talent in designing and engineering after looking over and improving upon Pinkie's myriad contraptions. Ice and Blood got their own cutie marks in their time, the former having achieved hers after a long while of using her mental skills to help Euforia, and the latter after one final showdown with a bully that devolved into (thankfully unarmed) fighting.

And so Euforia grew up this way. Ice and Blood began to develop personality-wise and, with some convincing from Euforia, adopted their own names for themselves; Diana Icemind and Kataria Bloodedge. However, they still often used their original names, just mostly among themselves.

Upon completing her education, Euforia moved to Canterlot and was hired as a minor designer and engineer by the Palace. She became more highly sought after, however, after demonstrating her skill with her chosen field and crafting many unique objects. Whether it be doors that swung open just by stepping on a pressure plate or a complex pulley system that acted as an elevator in multi-storey buildings when coupled with regulated use of a come-to-life spell, Euforia's only limit was her imagination, and soon she was being employed to come up with all manner of innovative inventions. Ponies soon learned to stop asking her to build something specific and simply began presenting her with a problem to be solved.

One of those problems to be solved was a changeling invasion on the day of a particularly prestigious wedding. Euforia survived, but this was a prompt to her, backed by a lot of extra prompting from Blood, to start making something to protect herself. She came up with a new set of hoof-mounted swords and cloak-armour, as well as a miniature crossbow.

Now, Euforia is very happy with her life, knowing that wherever she goes she will have two friends by her side. She considers the day of the poison joke incident the best day she could have wished for, and has always denied any offers for a cure.

Personality: Ever since the poison joke incident, which she now refers to as the Evolution, Euforia has been very outgoing and friendly, a personality that became even more so after her apprenticeship under Pinkie Pie. Her mind, however, is often on her creations rather than her surroundings, so she may sometimes appear to have her head in the clouds unless she is snapped out of it.

Ice is quite different. She is the cold, calculating type, pursuing problems with relentless logic, setting aside hesitations and other inhibitions in her quest towards whatever goal she has set herself on. She is, however, arguably the most normal of the three, behaving in a manner that does not particularly stand out. It is only during moments of importance that her real self emerges.

Blood is driven by her emotions, and is consequently quite emotional. Rash and impulsive, she doesn't tend to think things through before doing them, which is a constant headache for Ice to deal with. She has a certain thirst for violence that the other two do not share, so they keep a punching bag, which has seen a lot of use, in their room. She is often eager to try out new things, especially Euforia's new inventions.

All in all, one common trait that all three share is that they care for one another, just in their own different ways. Ice and Blood in particular care especially much for Euforia.

Misc: Euforia has a sort of split-personality disorder, in which one personality out of the three that inhabit her body - Euforia herself, "Ice" Diana Icemind, and "Blood" Kataria Bloodedge - is in control at any one time, while the other two can perceive everything that is going on but cannot control the body. These personalities can switch with the consent of the active commanding personality and the soon-to-be active commanding personality.
