A Bit(e) of Hope (Private)

The stallion had opted to stay silent initially as he noticed the other pair, eager to listen in, but upon being found out already he chuckled a bit and escorted Lightning right in to have her seated, and began to fire up the stove as he gathered basic ingredients while glancing at Sky curiously. "... It was a fun workout." He said with the intent to break the ice and ease the mood. "Sure kept me on my hooves and put my training to the test. Not many chances to have that kind of a challenge. We should spar again sometime... For now, any breakfast requests, ladies?"

lightning found her way to a comfortable spot, patting sky on the sholder as she did so, finally curling up on the sofa, her gut still slkightly saw from the raw ponding of the night before. Menacy was not impressed with his responce, "yes well, that goes with out saying, but as i said.." she turned towards him speaking more sturnly "T'was out of her hooves, and blame was not on her side, correct?"

The stallion twitched a brow a bit higher at Menacy, feeling she hadn't caught on to his intent, but figured she still had the right of it to clear things up even more. "But of course. I'm not denying the event. Let me rephrase: No real harm was done despite that, so we have nothing but time to come to terms and make the most of the aftermath. Surely this is something we can all resolve if we put our heads together to ensure the blameless act does not repeat... And surely that's easier to do on a full stomach?" Again he gestured to the table, hoping to get his own question answered and to have made himself more amicable to them.

Sky sniffled a little, then spoke. "I.. its ok.. i don't feel to hungry.." she said solemnly her voice soft as she got up and left rather swiftly to her room. menacy placed her hoof/paw on her forehead. before speaking, "you best make enough for both of us and it best be good." she said exasperated before getting up and heading to sky's room to coax her back out.

lightning sat up a tad "its ok hun, i know you tried, sky is fragile, especially when shes blue. get the food cooking and come sit with me" she said softly.

Sugary felt something was different about Sky, but it didn't really click with him until he actually saw her eyes on her way out as Menacy seemed to judge him a bit harsher than he expected after giving his intent more clearly. He sighed and smiled weakly as Lightning seemed to get what he was trying for. "Thank you... So that's her third self, huh? I'll gladly sit with you of course, but do you think you could tell me what can get her to come back with a familiar scent? Surely something she likes really will do the trick, and you know her best."

lightnings smile slight as it was dropped slightly more to a half smile and a sigh "1 of 4 actually, honestly when it comes to blue, shes an alone child being faced with what she had done, I'm honestly not sure what can save her mood when she is like this. menacy knows blue more than anyone so it is best to let her handle it, that being said i do know of one breakfast dish its quite the delicate one, but if you have apples oats flour milk and honey we should be able to whip it up, and as for menacy, something greasy sticky sickly and sweat aught sate her..." she trailed off and looked down. "there is no doubt to me that sky is no monster, even the darkness inside her is fairly reasonable for what it is. you can talk it down if it doesn't jump to conclusions... but i'm not so sure about myself, i cant help but feel you are to biased to ask fairly but.." she looked up at him her voice truly a melancholy one. "am i a monster. not in the conventional sense, but.." she threw a small remote and chip at market with 4 main sets on it. applying magic to slow its movement so as it would not be harmed with the travel. upon the sets each contained a somewhat modified manna capsule like the ones from the night prior.

Between the ideas for food, and the question along with the remote control devices, there was a segacious pause upon the stallion as he looked to the settings quietly. To give his first answer, he kept his head down and moved cautiously to her side, before putting his other arm around her and gently pulling her in for a smooch on the scarred side of her face without hesitation to make his point as he then smiled brightly at her. "Neither of you are. Just a little rough around the edges... I've seen monsters of all kinds. Red Sky's tempestual temper doesn't even come close to the vile indiscriminate agressions that I've had to snuff out before, let alone yours... And about this controller... Does it come with a stirring setting? I think I know just what to make for each of them if you can give me just the right pointers."

she smirks a little at the comment and sighs growing serious again. "that device,, I'm not sure how it makes me feel, and that scares me. i cant help but identify it as bad, but i don't feel wrong for making it or wanting to use it." she gets close to him before speaking in a hushed tone. "what that thing would do, if applied to sky, would be equivalent to murder if all of her personalities are truly separate entities which i am fairly confident they are. it would suppress all of them allowing you to choose which one you'd want active when. it would make it so much easier,, but that's not my place to choose" she began to grow louder as she confronts the idea of her creation. "i made this, and not to help her, not even to make it easier for people to understand her,,," lightning choked a tad at the thought, her eye widening as she realised just how cold and twisted she was and even could be potentially. she took another breath and closed her eye. "i made it so as to control her better, to make her a better tool. i made it just before me and her came aboard, and even now i cant help but think of how much easier it would be if i used it on her, even though every single sky loves and looks after me."

By the time here eyes opened again, the controller would be at her sight once more as the stallion offered it back to her amicably. "... I seem to recall you stating you were working on that. Not the device, but yourself. And I do believe I told you I would help with that, little as it may be, if you let me..." He gave her another smooch, this time a tender one, as he whispered into her ear. "... You used this to stop her from going berserk yesterday, didn't you? I'm grateful. And if you've been as honest with her as she expects you to, I'd like to think she'd be glad it was you who did it... I trust you not to abuse it." He pulled away a bit and looked to the kitchen with a soft chuckle. "We can start making amends with food either way. It might be old fashioned, but let's not ignore potentially simple solutions to complex problems, eh?" In the end, he was never trying to keep the mood light by avoiding the issues, but confronting them in his own lighthearted way.

she awkwardly smirked at being called out, twice. "i suppose you are right.. sure lets cook" she said slightly warming her voice, "where do you want to start?"

Sugary pecked her on the cheek again and chirped a little as he spoke on. "Honestly, I think we can give them almost the same thing and be done with it. Now, what I mean by that is giving Menacy that extra ingredient over what Sky would like... Eggs. I'll make her the butteriest scrambled eggs with honeyed apples and oats. That sickly greasy sweet enough?" If he had her approval, he'd get right to it on the double, encouraging her to cook along with him for the fun of it, and to help soothe her heavy mind as well.

"the idea is nice, but, hmm." she brough her hoof to her chin in thought "do you have any meat onboard, i know its unlikely but the quickest way to a wolfs heart is meat. aditionally, so you know, im somewhat accustomed to delicate flavour profiles. something i could drink with a cup of jasmine tea.
if you wish to make menacy happy tho focus on the meal for sky, it should make them both happy for the same and differant reasons."

The unicorn was a bit uncertain for a moment. "Ah, the easiest I can do for you would be a fruit and nut salad, I think...? I can at least avoid strong flavor fruits to make something decent... But I don't like meat aside from eggs, so I don't really keep any. Fish should do, yes? I've got some salmon still." He would bring out the extra ingredients, still clearly making the effort to make this a good starting point for easing up the crew.

she took a deep breath, her inner leader being rangled. "its really simple" she stared, getting up "skys thing is a poridge with heavy milk, honey and apple slices, its not great for her and she will pack on a pound or two from it but its the best way to win her over." she walked to the kitched "im not sure why you would have fish and no meat but do her 2 fried eggs, 'til crispy with a dash of salt, grill a couple of tomatos and maybe fry some mushrooms, if you can make samon work with that then do it if not we will have to come up with something, as for myself ill handle it, some sort of smooth porige with water and jasmine."

"Heh... Come now, meat and fish don't go down the same. A little bit of fat, protein, and oil does the body good. But the rest I do have, though I'm a little low on jasmine; I'll check in the cargo room for extra while I'm at it, and I got fish jerky that could have a bit more kick to the flavor than just salmon." He moved about with purpose, getting all the ingredients in full and ready for Lightning as she requested. He looked eager to follow her lead once the kitchen became a bit more lively by the minute.

"No worrying about me, i have what i need for my breakfast back in my room, that can be sorted slightly later, I'm sure you know how to start a simple porridge going, get that on the heat, then we will want to get the apples cute and in the pan, the quicker the better but i can get them cut in seconds no issue, then the honey, we don't need much but this is borderline a sweet treat, so don't worry if you add to much. while that's going we will want to get on menacy's food, its a simple fried breakfast so, again I'm sure i don't need to tell you to much, as mine and Sky's dish is relatively simple i can work on them and if you like you can get on with Menacy's, that or you can try and impress and get it all done by yourself?" she asked eyebrow cocked, having already cut and de-cored the apples in a single motion.

"It shall be done... But more importantly, it pleases me to see you this spirited today. I believe just that alone will do good for your dear friend. I didn't get to know her all that well yet, but I am sure this is what will get us all back on a good track. And this food is sure to make it more smoothly." And so, he cooked, and cooked some more and made the other dishes one by one with care and patience, showing that his time doing turns in the Guild's Mess Hall had made him a semi-competent Cook...

as quickly as her leader like attitude switched on it had gone, substituted cleanly with a somewhat calm and 'light' demeanour, enjoying watching the large stallions cooking. she she was practically glowing, things still weighed on her mind but for the first time in a long while she felt loved and cared for both emotionally and physically. her self esteem having boosted, she almost didn't know what to do with all the positive emotions. "can you get some oats on boil with mild and water at about 50/50 for me while i get the jasmine?" she asked, her warm mood bleeding though strongly, before quickly making her leave.
upon returning she was dressed very form fitting gown, not sexual but not not sexual. carefully adding the jasmine to her porridge she made sure the flavour wouldn't be too strong before serving it in a bowl for herself and taking it to the table, her eyes watching the stallion with notable bedroom eyes, but again not 100% sexual but more just content.

Sugary didn't need to ask again, just getting right to task as Lightning requested. He trusted her guidance on this matter, the rest was all on him to be confident in his competence. What he hadn't expected as he worked with the ratios and had things ready, was the mare returning and looking even more lovely. He wasn't sure what to make of it initially, thinking it was to make her companions feel like the breakfast was a more special event, until he felt her gaze and emotions more clearly the longer the two lovers looked at each other. It made him blush softly. "... You're just full of surprises today, aren't you? I'd have worn my formal threads if I knew a fair lady would be taking me out on a date this early too~" He walked right next to her, and gave her a soft kiss on the lips, whispering to her ear as he nuzzled it. "... Meal's all ready~... Shall I call them over now?"

"you probably should, if i'm left alone with you much longer,, well i just don't know what id do" she looked down, then back to him with a smile "honestly i haven't felt so emotionally driven, or at least like this in, well ever. i've had stallions and mares alike make me feel like a tool, and object,, a piece of meat or just grotesque.. to be honest its how i felt about me, its why i built my confidence so high, and my walls so thick, to hide from myself as much as everypony else." she stirred her porridge to help it cool, slightly pausing as she watched it, the jasmine blossoms sinking in the oatie soup. "but you... you made, no you Make me feel, well real, like i matter, the me i hid from only has nice things to say, and that's because of you, i have fears and doubts about myself but when ever they show you can put them to rest so cleanly." she looked at him with a small giggle, "you may lack tact somewhat some times hehe, but you are honest and true, and make me feel beautiful when you look at me, even when at my worst, even if i'm not as slender as mare fleur, you make me feel happy with my soft form" she said slightly poking her soft tummy as she used her magic to puree the porridge so fine it could sift through silk. "you make me feel,, complete, proud to be myself, not ashamed to show myself to you.." she sat up and using her magic once more pulls the stallion in to kiss him softly but fully, for what felt like hours but was more likely only 10 or so seconds.

Going into the next kiss, it riled up the stallion that had assuredly become this supremely-talented and likely-in-trouble-with-royalty mare's lover as it lingered, their passion and heat bubbling for one another, leaving him with a starry gaze as she touched up her chubby body and bore her vulnerabilities. "Lightning... I'm happy to hear that. I know things aren't perfect, but I think together we can work on getting a little closer to excellence each day." He then leaned down to give her belly a light kiss and grinned a bit at her afterwards. "And I like to think of your figure as more... motherly. You've plenty appeal with that alone." He then gave her a wink, and went out of the kitchen to call the other mares over, leaving her to stew a little bit on the thought that her status as a 'MILF' was quite the plus in his eyes. After all, he was very attentive of her greatly swollen breasts and touching her all over her shapely plush self in their previous lovemaking...

lightning was a tad taken aback at first, being called 'motherly' blushing profusely at the concept, flattered by his words, sentiment and his actions of which had flustered her further, her head retracted trying to comprehend much of what he had told her as he left. she had never really though about it from such a perspective, it was true, she was a mother and her body reflected this fairly notably but the thought of her self being 'motherly' and that this was a good thing had never connected, mostly due to how young she was. she looked to her tummy where he had kissed and blushed more as she stared at herself for a bit. she was happy with her body but the fact that her body wasn't just 'ok' and 'pleasant' but in fact distinctly attractive being hard to process, only breaking the trance when she heard the others mobilise and start to come over. she sat more correctly and began to eat her porridge, still lightly blushing trying to look more proper.

The stallion had no clue how much he had actually given Lightning a much needed boost of confidence and appreciation by the time he returned. He was just relieved that he did manage to get the other two mares to come over after all. There would likely be more effort on his part to be more mindful of Sky in her state, but otherwise felt this was the right thing to do as he gave Lightning the brightest smile he had and went to eat calmly... The talking and amends could come after full bellies after all...

Menacy came with little effort, although still a tad high and mighty she did seem excited by what she smelt, sky was a tad apprehensive at first, but as soon as she saw the table and her breakfast she couldn't get to the food quick enough. Both now sat down they tucked in both quiet as they scalfed down what they had been served greatly enjoying it all.

Sugary took Menacy's earlier words to heart as it were, and made more effort to be a little more welcoming to Sky as she began to eat. He'd tell the plump vampony that she could always approach him about any hunger or cravings she felt, and he'd do his best to fulfill them. As for Menacy, he'd tell her about appreciating her patience, and looked forward to discussing her particular diet further. As for Lightning, he just sat down peacefully by her side, content with her company and their as a whole...
