The Horse Among Us: Hunt for the Cutie Mark Killer

Equestria is done for. After over 1000 years of peace and prosperity the inhabitants of Equestria and the Crystal Empire were forced flee their homeland when an unknown adversary brought war upon them. They killed all in their path and in the end even the Elements of Harmony were unable to stop its advance and eventually this adversary overran the entire world. Those few that survived the conflict had to find a new world to live in... our world.

It is here, in a small Manhattan neighbourhood unofficially known as "Little Equestria", that the survivors of the war hide from us in plain sight. Using a spell called glamour to blend into society while running their own. This has gone on without human knowledge for decades and the residents of Little Equestria have known relative peace for that time; but on this rainy Manhattan night, that peace will soon be shattered and life in Little Equestria may never be the same...

Okay, hi there! Just going to need to lay down a few ground rules and some info here:

1. This sign up is open until the 00:00AM GMT on the 23rd of April. Submissions after this time won't be accepted.

2. There will be a one week time limit on posts. I will be flexible if an adequate reason can be given for being slow to post and extend the deadline by a day or two. Otherwise you will be skipped multiple times if necessary.

3. on your submissions you'll need a basic description of how your character looks while in their human form (when there is a glamour spell in effect on them). This is important as you'll be spending most of your time in this form . The secrecy of Little Equestria is at stake!

4. I'll be making a chat on Skype to discuss things regarding the thread. Being a part of it is optional though.

5. I will allow a minimum of two players and a maximum of 3.

6. Let's try to have some fun! (Those who don't have the prerequisite amount of fun will be kicked o3o)

Just for the fun of it, I'll sign up Astraylzenika who I put on the threads back in FimFiction.net and hasn't gotten any love since forever. Her human form would have dark olive-tone skin (like someone from Sicily) and be somewhat slight of build and just a hair over 5'10" with a sallow, almost unnaturally thin look to her face although she'd look otherwise perfectly healthy. Her eyes would be a very vivid ice-blue and her hair would be white but looking like a dye job, with visible roots of a different color and the occasional streak of the original honey-brown (although in truth, her natural hair color is white and she did several dye stages to make it look dyed instead of natural), the exception being a lock of hair on the right side of her head that's a vivid and brilliant scarlet red. She typically wears a plain white t-shirt and jeans with a bomber jacket over it.

Got two characters if that's allowed, if it's not then I will simply pick one of the two.

Tea Leaf:


Standing at 5'5 and usually dressed to the nines for the most casual of events, Tea Leaf is by most appearances in Little Equestria a modestly shady but friendly local who many suspect of having his hands in the crime problems of Little Equestria but few if any could pin it down to anything more than unsubstantiated rumors.

Tea Leaf moonlights as the infamous Little Equestria thief known as Hoodwink, well known for his tendency to steal artifacts from Equestria from the locals and also for his tendency to leave a breadcrumb trail of clues to other criminals, in what many suspect to be some sort of way of bribing the authorities to leave him alone.

Tea Leaf has long dark brown hair and has a light brown shade of skin, matching his coat as a pony and similar to a mixed-race human. He frequents the local pubs and is acquaintances with many in the local area.




Purse Cutter:
Tea Leaf's daughter who acts as a courier around the town, Purse is very mature and, much to some people's chagrin, devious for a fifteen year old. Usually dressed in a pink hoodie and jeans and being so pale her skin almost looks white from a distance the courier is also very easily identified by her diminutive height, barely reaching 5'0. 

Despite this, underestimating Purse is unwise; she is particularly known to some for the occasion where she repelled a duo of burglars from her and her dad's apartment with a cricket bat (and less known made a perfect alibi for her father not being present, protecting his moonlighting activities in the process).

Having two characters is perfectly fine. ^^

Well I've decided to pull back the deadline 24 hrs in the interest of time saving.

Verde Tin would be around 6' and built heavier than her cousin, although the heaviness has a distinct aura of the kind of heavy muscle from regular physical labor. She wears her hair cut to shoulder length and likes to decorate her bangs with various combinations of silver, red, green, and black beads, always artfully woven into her hair. Unlike Astra, she makes no attempt to hide the fact that her hair is pure white right down to the roots. Her eyes are emerald-green and always seem to be focusing just barely passed whomever she's talking to, as if she's paying attention to something only she can see. Her olive tone is not nearly as dark as Astra's, something more like a mainland Italian's, and she likes to wear heavy canvas pants with a small tool belt around the waist, a slightly tightly-fitting white shirt, and a heavy vest with a distinct steampunk look to it--although unlike people who just enjoy the steampunk style, Verde's vest has the appearance of being in regular and earnest use as a means to carry the various tools and parts that she typically needs in her work. On her right hip is a heavy leather belt loop securing a titanium crowbar to her side; on her left is a long well-secured black leather sheath clearly meant to accommodate a machete and bearing all the hallmarks of an item that is kept in fastidiously excellent condition, although whether the sheath is filled or not depends on the situation. If one was to see her sleeves rolled all the way up, there would be the tattoo of several intricately-interlocking gears on one shoulder and a golden anvil with a golden hammer raised above it on her other one.
