A Good Intention

It'd been a week, just one week since a small boat of 3 griffons and a pony washed up on the shores just south of Trottingham. The media had capitalized on the story immediately, making the news of those four spread across the whole of Equestria, along with any number of rumor and story. Some papers claimed that those 4 were the only crew, while others said they were just the survivors. Some said they were Equestians and just as many said they came from another continent. The one thing that all the papers seemed to agree on though was that they were sick when they arrived. No one could agree however how sick they actually were when they arrived, but all four had been taken to Canterlot to receive the best medical help anyone could ask for.

Reports continued to flow in about the mysterious four as they'd been come to known, even with the princesses updates on their condition and assurances that the four were on the road to recovery, the news continued to print their contrasting stories. Now a week later, a new story was being printed. There'd been a steadily rising series cold cases popping up all over Canterlot, and it'd apparently been enough to catch the news's interest. The latest papers were connecting the four with this surge of illness, but the princesses still held fast to the claim that everything was alright. The growing debate and conspiracy theories thoroughly drowned out all the other news. Things like the new school building opening, the construction that'd been happening around the mountain, nothing else mattered besides the Mysterious Four.

That is, until the day before. Yesterday, at half past noon, Princess Celestia made the announcement that all four of the survivors found on the boat south of Trottingham had died of their illness. And while it wasn't confirmed, they city was at risk of exposure, so it was to enter a state of quarantine until it was deemed safe. That is where you now find yourselves, the quarantine is in place and while you are allowed to venture out into the city, you aren't supposed to leave. But talk is going wild, and there's more than just whispers of ponies trying to escape. What will you do?

Alright, so this is another of my newer experimental threads, and for simplicity's sake let's just have everyone visiting Canterlot instead of actually living here. If any of you have played a tell-tale game before, this story will be at least somewhat driven in a certain direction. The intro to the thread will be a bit different, truly starting the story. Also, to answer any question anyone may have about why this is in the post apocalypse section, it's because the majority of this thread will be in the apocalypse, we're just starting off in the transition stage.

Alright, we're up to three signed up now, and I've been advertising on skype to almost no avail. So we'll probably be getting this game going tomorrow or something. Now remember that this is supposed to be a fairly short game by itself, but is only the first in a quite possibly longer chain of threads, giving people chances to leave, sign up with new OCs, or new people entirely to sign up.
