Blood to be Shed: Haru Vs Blade Empty
PostSubject: Blood to be Shed: Haru Vs Blade   Blood to be Shed: Haru Vs Blade Icon_minitimeTue Oct 13, 2015 1:15 am

It was a brilliant sun casting its long warm rays across the cobblestone ground. Haruspex walked slowly across the promenade where the Zebra dressed in a long flowing white robe bearing his crest and the long cape on his back. The white hood drawn over his head as he looked from behind his mask and robe. A few other ponies were in this market place with him but they didn't matter... His gaze was fixed in a pony at the edge of the Market, his gaze unyielding as the ghostly blade formed on his back. His mask causing his eyes to turn red as he saw the pony ahead was truly a shadow fiend but the others wouldn't know what that pony was no... He would have to take care of this himself and save these blind fools from themselves.

Blood to be Shed: Haru Vs Blade Empty
PostSubject: Re: Blood to be Shed: Haru Vs Blade   Blood to be Shed: Haru Vs Blade Icon_minitimeTue Oct 13, 2015 12:57 pm

It wasn't odd for the guard's gaze to follow the obviously suspicious zebra. The first reason being the weapon that was in his back. It was legal for citizens to carry weapons, but the guard was still supposed to keep a careful eye on them. The zebra's attire made him stick out a bit more than the average person, since the majority of the people in the town were weird in their own way. He couldn't see the stallion's eyes, the gender being assumed at the moment, though the general direction to a pony not to far off seemed to be off putting. So, Blade started to follow the zebra, straying for where his patrol was supposed to take him and hoping that he was wrong about the situation. His armor was the standard of the guard with it being the exact same to greek armor except in name and material, iron instead bronze. The stallion was only armed with a short sword on his hip and a shield on his right arm.

Haruspex stood high over many of the other ponies as well, being close in height to the princess herself, he walked proudly across the market place. Quietly he strode, an almost ominous movement as he got closer to the people he had in mind. Reaching behind his back, his hand wrapping around the handle of the curved ghostly blade. Unsheathing his blade, a mist formed around him and the path to the pony he had in his sights. Think and white the mist billowed to make a wall unable to see past. In those clouds Haruspex charged forward. The blade held close to his body in a repose style, driving forward with the single intent to purge this fiend and send him back to the oblivion from whence he came. His hooves thundered against the ground, his blade steadied and nothing to stop him the moment came where the pony looked around to only see a blade enter his skull. The blade cleaved his skull nearly in half with its straight sideā€¦ putting the sword right through his skull as the mist died down.

Blade rushed into the mist as he saw it suddenly form, going in the direction of where he had seen the target of the zebra. In the end, he was too late to save the pony that had its head impaled by the stallion's sword. People screamed as they saw the sight and rushed away from the murder that had just taken place in broad daylight. The guard just stopped and watched as the zebra just killed a pony without any remorse. There was no passion, no emotion that suggested that the victim had done anything to wrong the zebra. So, why did he do it? Blade pushed the question aside and continued his approached of the killer. "Sir! Drop your weapon!" He said before he lite his horn and kept his free hand on the hilt of his sword, obviously ready to draw it if necessary. The guard was just a few feet outside of swinging range of the attacker and kept himself ready to defend himself.

The pony's body slumped forward, kneeling before his form with the ghostly blade ran straight through his face and protruding on the other side. The pony did not utter a word as he feel to his knees with blood gushing down his mutilated face and his clothing. The blood spray head splattered across his face and the soft robe he wore. Flicking his head back, the hood came off to reveal his mask fading away into a small cloud of mist. Yanking hard, Haruspex gruesomely withdrew his sword from the pony's face; the sounds of bones and flesh grinding along the blade edge filled the air for a moment to be ominously followed by the oppressing sound of the body slumping to the ground with a fleshy slap. Bleeding silently, lifelessly laying there next to the cobble stone. Flicking his wrist to remove the blood from the blade and sheathing it on his back before turning his gaze to the guard who had demanded. His eyes glowed lightly with an unnatural anger, burning behind the windows to his soul. His voice unamused by the guard's theatrics, spoke in a cold tone, "Stand Aside... I have no quarral with you. Harm me at your own peril and pray for some sort of deliverance." He spat out, starting to walk towards the exit at the far end.

The guard didn't say a word as the zebra started to leave. Force would be needed to bring in the zebra and by the lack of knowledge of his opponent and obvious disadvantage, he had move quickly. Still had to make sure it was nonlethal, he was a protector of the peace after all. So, with a quick thing of magic, he picked up the zebra and held him aloft a couple of feet in the air, restricting any movement the best he could. The guard paused for a bit as he charged up his magical energy up another notch. His magical grip was fairly strong, but it could be broken with enough brute force or simply with enough magic expelled. So, a back up plan would be needed in order to subdue the zebra. In all honesty, such measures had become common due to the multiple oddities that happened in Equestria in the last year or so.

The Zebra turned away from the guard pony since there was nothing further to discuss with this fool. Taking his first step he was lifted into the air but he simply turned his head towards the guard. In an amused tone he spoke and stared directly at the guard with no emotion in his eyes, "Only a foolish pony would ever deny me passage or prevent me from reaching my goals... You stand in the way so I must eliminate any obstacles in the path to my goal." Floating there his eyes flashed white, out from his eyes came a ghostly bird swooping low across the ground at unprecedented speed. Quieter than the wind itself the ghostly bird ran right through Lightning's chest and out the other side... Leaving behind a cold unearthly in nature and burning to the touch.

The zebra's attack would hopefully be lessened or blocked, depending on how much power was inside of the bird and what its properties were. The guard knew that the stallion was going to attempt something and had already started to prepare for an attack. The flash of white signaled the start of his pure magical energy quickly moved under his armor and protected the skin underneath. Due to Blade's natural experience, the motion of it was done out of instinct and moved his circular shield in front of himself. The metal circle would probably be uselessly either due to the bird dodging it, possibly being able to make it past the shield before it was in position, or something else.

If the attack had done what it was intended without being leased by either his shield, armor, or magic then the guard would stumble back. His magic would let go of the zebra and his magical barrier would be gone as he placed a hand onto his chest. If it had been lessened or had no effect his magical barrier would stand firm and he would keep to his defensive position as his telekinesis let go of the zebra. It would an unpleasant feeling, but he would just have to power through it for now.

Haruspex landed with a soft thud in on the ground, steadying himself on the dirt below with a hand pressed downwards. A sneer spread across his lips, his brows furrowed and his eyes locked into the guard who had dared to stop his holy quest. The bird had gone clean through the metal circle futilely blocking its path. Brushing along the guard's chest, releasing what sounded like a final breath as the cold penetrated deep into his soul.

Raising himself, turning to his right Haruspex scoffed loudly. "Leave now Guard and I will forgive your transgression." Taking another step forward to leave this pitiful guard to his suffering.
