Sacred paused and looked at Sunny as she went into the backroom to get Viola something. She then watched as Tender said she'd be back and then left, raising an eyebrow. She shrugged it off though and turned back to Viola and Sunny as the yellow pegasus gave the other mare a pipbuck. She heard something about repair as she moved to follow Jäger out of the bar. She paused for a moment when she heard the pony with the flamer said she'd be coming along. "I don't doubt the cooking part at all...." She grimaced under her helmet, hoping that pony didn't cook her alive inside her armor. Her ears perked up at Viola's radio playing, shrugging at the news. "Sounds like it. What's so news worthy about a single stable dweller anyway? It's just a pony who's lived in a stable all their life." She shrugged, looking around, spotting the caravan.

She wondered if they had any medical equipment they had for sell...or maybe some ammo for her guns. She hummed, debating if she should go over and trade. Her train of thought got derailed as she saw a Steel Ranger walking towards them. When they introduced themselves, she frowned, her eyes narrowing behind her helmet. "Steel Ranger. Didn't know an earth bound tin can was right under my nose." She huffed, turning her head away from the Steel Ranger. "Well let's go then." A monster, a ghoul, an earth bound tin can, a dashite, and a raider....Some of us are just asking to be shot. She thought to herself, shaking her head slightly.

Jäger was anxious, so much so that he'd completely missed the extra bit of the bartender asking them to recover anything from the before times. Though it was honestly not likely that he'd manage to acquire them intact as he was far from the gentle and handle-with-care type. When it seemed that most of them had gathered around him and it seemed that two had a map, Jäger would quickly ask which way they needed to be going before simply starting to move in that general direction. He wasn't running, but the monster wasn't slow on his hooves either as it seemed he wanted to get pretty far before sundown.

Tender laughed lightly to herself from within her suit. Now that she was safely behind the armored plates of her power armor, she felt much more at ease. She’d even let Sacred’s acidic jab slide. “Earth-bound tin can? That’s a first.” Tender replied at the tail end of her chortle.

She’d follow the group as they headed out, taking a position near the head of their party.

Civviq walked out with strong, sure steps, certain of her desicion. She snorted, thinking back to the notion of 'salvaging anything pre-war'. She was sure she could help with that - although, if she found anything that reminded her of home, so, so many years ago, she was going to keep it. Some things are not for sale, she thought, and sighed, feeling slighty melancholic. But she was long past the stage of homesick - somewhere around her 122 - and held her head up high.

She followed the... stallion out, along with the group. She walked somewhere in the middle, feeling a lot safer in public than before. Now that she was with a bigger group, a single ghoul wouldn't be attacked so easily. That's why she liked making friends - even though she would probably outlive them, and have outlived them many times. Her ears flickered slightly at the many memories, but she shrugged them off. A crying mess wasn't going to make it in the Wastes.

Neon grumbled as she lagged a bit behind, preferring the walk near the Girly and the Gearhead over a filthy Tin Can. She would be moving rather quickly, her horn lit as she held her flamer tank as to avoid it sloshing around too much. Bubbly fuel wasn't very reliable. Her mind went to her last encounter with a Tin Can, causing the bale-fire-maned mare to break into a creepy giggle-fit. "Toaster." She mumbled to herself, before giggling again. But then her attention went back to following the lead of the others, still grinning happily.

Viola led the group east out of town. Going east, there was a vast amount of hilly wasteland, with not much in the way of plant life. Not seeing much from the ground, Viola decided to get a better look from a bit higher up. The city of New Pegasus was to the northeast, a raider camp was to the southeast, and would probably get in their way. Directly to the east, a collection of small buildings surrounded by a larger factory-like building. Satisfied with a starting location, she landed. “Well there isn’t much, but there seems to be an old town off to the east. A raider camp is in the way, so we are going to have to take them out first. Anypony have any ideas on how they want to deal with them? Stealth or bang bang?” She asked the others.

Sacred rolled her eyes at Tender from under her helmet. "Well you are. Flying's a good thing. Wastelanders never look up." She shook her head and hovered after Viola as they departed. Her ears perked up as she heard Neon say toaster, slightly keeping her distance from the crazy flamey pony. When Viola had flew to look around some more, she flew up with her, slipping off her laser rifle and looking around with the scope. She looked at the raider camp for a moment before flying back down with Viola. "I would prefer stealth...But if we are going to go in and bang bang, I'm going to be outside of their firing range so I don't get shot. Because I don't want to get shot." She told Viola simply, raising her laser rifle slightly.

“You’d think they’d learn, wouldn’t you?” Tender replied to Sacred. Aside from the pegasus’s obvious mistrust of Steel Rangers, the mare had a pretty decent sense of humor, which was nice. When Neon performed her little show, the Steel Ranger glared at her from underneath her helmet. “That mare is damaged... “ she thought to herself. EFS was still registering the crazy pony as green, but who knew how long that’d last. At the very least, she knew she could terminate the raider before it got too much ‘toasting’ done. Thank the Ministry Mare for earthpony engineering.

“Well, tin cans aren’t exactly known for their stealth capabilities.” Tender joked, deploying her weapons. “But bang bang? I can do.” she continued, giving her minigun a playful whirl.  “I wouldn’t worry about getting shot. Between the big guy over there, and myself, they probably won't even notice you if you stay airborne.”

"Deh ish raidersh? Honely von tink to shay den," Jäger replied with a grin as he pulled the proton ax off his back and brandished it with one mechanical wing while the other retrieved the 10 mm smg from his side. "VE HUNT!" And with that he was off, charging forward with a very un-pony like roar that still seemed to fit the far more monstrous appearing thing that was Jäger. For such a big creature though, he managed a speed that would likely surprise most. The long strides and flaps of the prosthetic wings on his back likely helped as well, and altogether served to make him an even more monstrous visage that was busy speeding... not directly towards the camp? No, upon closer inspection, it could be plainly seen that Jäger wasn't going directly towards the camp, but rather seeming to circle some to the south, as if he were going to attack the camp from that direction rather than the direction that the rest of the group currently was in relation to the camp, possibly meaning that their attention would be more towards the south than to the east. There was also the notion that with this detour in course, it would take him a little bit longer to reach the camp, enough to say perhaps use some caution in moving quietly and sneakily towards the camp. Whether this was all intentional or not would have to remain unanswered as the monster who could answer that question was still busy running indirectly towards the raider camp.

Civviq blinked, her one eye flaring up slightly. She levitated one of her sniper rifles up. "Why, brute force it is, I suppose." She thought for a moment. "Although perhaps we should consider the element of surprise..." She looked towards Jagers trail, noticing the slight bend. "Perhaps the ones that prefer stealth should go slightly north and attack them while their attention is on the south... like me."

She trotted stately towards the north, but after a few hoofsteps she came to a halt and looked back. "At least, if you agree with me, that is." She looked at them, partially expecting flinches as she looked at their faces, the flame in her eye flickering bright, bringing a slight orange hue on her partly exposed skull. At first, she was hurt and ashamed when they did so, but now it merely amused her slightly. If they did so, of course. She couldn't help but pity all who had actually seen worse than her.

Neon blinked as she listened to the others, giggling in a slightly insane way as she bolted ahead of the Girly on her way to the north, fully ready to slow down and enter stealth mode, but only when she got closer to the camp, slowly pulling her stripped-down flamer from her jacket and focusing as she would just look around and hope she hadn't been heard or seen on her way there. But then she turned to see if the Girly was nearby.

The raiders in the camp were immediately rustled by Jager’s actions. The few that were guarding the camp started firing a few small pistols in his direction. The ones that were sleeping were woken up and scrambled to get their weapons. A couple charged outside the camp with knives and bats. To Viola’s surprise, one of the raiders took to the air with a sniper rifle and fired a few shots in Jager’s direction.

Viola sighed. “Well, better get cleaning.” She ran on ahead to the northern end on the camp. Pulling out her rifle from under her cloak, she stood back on her hind legs and held the rifle in her forelegs. Getting a closer look at the camp, she noticed the raiders had two prisoners in a metal cage. She looked back up at the pegasus, took aim with the rifle, and fired two shots. The first one missed. The second one hit, but did nothing. Instead, the raider’s body shimmered with a green glow for a second as her attention shifted to Viola.

Of course, the commotion hasn’t just attracted the attention of the raiders. A nearby nest of radscorpions had their jimmies rustled by the noise and decided to shut the raiders up, charging into the camp as well.

Now when the shots started coming, a sane pony might have stopped and tried to find cover, a safe spot to continue shooting from or perhaps even wait until the enemy drew closer. Jäger however was arguably not sane, and so when the shots started flying, he didn't even so much as break pace. The monstrous pony did start to swerve a bit here and there, but he was moderately sure of his armor and hide to save him from most of the shots. As the one sniper pony flew up and took a shot that seemed to have at least clipped his shoulder piece, Jäger aimed the 10 mm smg up and unleashed a quick hail of bullets before shifting aim towards the melee weapon wielding ponies ahead of him until the rapid clicking started to signal that the current clip was empty. Jäger still however didn't even so much as slow down while brandishing the large ax as he drew ever closer. The first target Jäger even jumped to while swinging the ax about while the immediate second had the metal body of the smg brandished across to his face. The following enemies would hopefully be taken care of in a fashion similar to this while saying "Voom headshot, Killink shpree, Runnink Rhiot, Killtacular! Hy'm Jäger!" as Jäger continued his charge towards and into the camp.

Sacred snorted slightly at Tender as she joked around. "You don't say. I'm holding you accountable for that." She looked at the ghoul for a moment, tilting her head to the side. Boy oh boy the wasteland had some weird ponies...She almost envied her old life on the clouds...almost. "Sounds like a plan. But first..." She steadied herself, raising her laser rifle and aiming at the pegasus flying in the sky. Apologies my airborn brethren. But you are kinda a raider so I feel less bad about this. She thought to herself as she fired a few times at the pony before quickly chasing after Neon and Civviq. She was a bit worried as she saw radscorpions coming in on the fight as well, but didn't think of it right now. Maybe the raiders would kill them first instead of them.

Tender had to suppress the urge to tell Sacred a joke about how she wasn’t tax deductible, but decided against it as it would probably confuse the poor mare. That didn’t stop her from laughing lightly to herself, though. “Mom would laugh and then tell me to be audit I can be.” she mused lightly to herself as she circled her way north of the raider compound with her companion, whom, as her geiger counter noted, had a very radioactive smile. “Radioactive smile… hah. I’m full of jokes today.” Tender further mused.

Civviq trotted steadily towards the north, trying to find a good place to snipe from. She found one, but it was a bit close to the radscorpionnest, so she put up a magical barrier of her own to keep them away from her and her companions if they would decide to charge. She steadied her sniper rifle and started firing at the raiders below, putting 200 years of practise to the test. She should, because she didn't have a pipbuck. She had never made it to the stables to get one.

As soon as the chaos began, Neon bolted into the fray, giggling insanely and laughing like a maniac as she blasted any radscorpion or raider unfortunate enough to meet her 'balefire' Flamer. But she would pause after ramming her axe into a raider's facehole, staring at the prisoners' cage and walking over slowly, looking around to make sure she didn't get shot. But then she'd look at the two prisoners a moment, then ask if they knew where the key was. But after waiting only a few seconds, she'd bolt off to go attempt at finding the key, her flamer ready to cook some raiders and find some shinies, but maybe, if she found a key, she'd go back to the cages.

The raider camp, now fully aware of its attackers, split their attention on attacking the north side. The raiders unfortunate enough to be caught in Jager’s reach would meet a very brutal end, though not as brutal as being burned alive by Neon’s green fire of death, which actually scared two raiders into running away, believing it to be actual balefire. As for where the key to the prisoners’ cage was, they pointed up at the pegasus sniper. Between the concentrated fire of the ponies from the north, the reckless ponies in the camp, and the radscorpions, the pegasus was soon the only raider left.

Viola dodged a shot from the sniper. She picked up an incendiary grenade from a dead raider and flew up to meet the sniper. “Here, hold this for me.” She said, pulling the pin on the grenade and giving it to the sniper. Before she could react, the grenade went off, knocking poth ponies to the ground in flames. Viola landed on the ground, dazed and slightly on fire, but alive. The raider landed on a giant radscorpion, which immediately stabbed her in the chest with its stinger. The energy shield depleted by the grenade, she died instantly, slumping off the bug. That bug was the last hostile creature in the camp. First to kill it gets a prize.

Neon had been watching the Gearhead, giggling madly as the grenade went off. "Fireworks." She mumbled, before trotting over to where the sniper's body was, hefting her axe and quite simply ramming it into the Radscorpion's back. Repeatedly. Thirty seven times. Before she then ignored it and her axe, searching the sniper's body for the key(Totally not looting it for everything else she liked, which was all but the dead raider's clothes and weapon). Once she found it, she'd heft the scorpion's body and her axe, trotting off to the cage to attempt at opening it up. If anyone questioned why she kept the scorpion, she'd respond with a simple. "Food."

Sacred's attention was torn upwards as she saw something explode, seeing Viola and the pegasus falling. She looked at the raiders coming their way towards the north and frowned. She decided that the one with the flamer was a better crowd control than her and put away her rifle, ready to fly towards Viola. Though she stopped for a moment spotting Neon go to the cage with the prisoner's. Maybe...Maybe... She thought before rushing towards Viola. She cringed as she spotted the mare land on the ground, hovering over her and looking her over quickly. She then proceed to use her wings to kill off the flames on the cybermare, landing beside her...Though before she could continue...she really needed to ask her a question. "...Do cyberponies need health potions...?" She pulled a health potion out of her satchel, tilting her head to the side.

"Vell, dat vas ha bit of vun, dough hy hope deh deamon puch hup more of ah fight den dese," Jäger said as he strolled towards wherever the group was beginning to gather. He didn't really seem to pay much attention to the prisoners, but he did notice Viola's slightly more burnt body. And while he hadn't seen the explosion, he did see Sacred already offering her a form of healing so with a shrug Jäger assumed that everything was under control on that department. "Vell, lesh she if hany of dese have a vordvile gun amongsht dem," Jäger added as he looked through the bodies he'd created, searching hopefully for a smg to replace the one that was currently broken and buried in raider faces, or a shotgun because those were just fun, but he'd make do with just about anything really.

After seeing no further resistance below, Civviq decided to join the group and scavenge the raiders for some interesting stuff. She put her sniper rifle away and trotted down, still alert for any danger. Who knew if some raider was still alive. She slalomed through the bodies, picking off bottlecaps and random scraps, as well as bullets. She grimaced seeing all the scars and twisted faces of the raiders, even after all these years. She sighed and put everything in her saddlebags she found to be salvageble, forcing herself not to think about it. After she had found enough, she joined Viola and Sacred, looking down at her with a worried frown, see if they perhaps needed her help.

“Over already, huh? Well, at the very least, they’re competent.” Tender told herself. She hadn’t had to fire a single round, and part of her was slightly disappointed for it. After having made her way into the camp proper, she noticed the two prisoners within their metal cage and made her way towards it.

Provided she had arrived before Neon, Legal would force the cage open with her hooves. Few containers, especially those of the flimsy raider variety, could hold long against the strength of a suit of power armor. “Knock knock.” Tender joked, this time allowing the audio to play through her helmet’s speakers.

Afterwards or should she not arrive before Neon, Legal took the time to collect the most decent-looking bits of scrap for future repair-talisman fuel. It was during this scavenging that she noticed the slightly burned cyborg being nursed by the ill-mannered dashite. “Okay, maybe competent wasn’t the best word to describe them.”

The pegasus that Neon looted had a small amount of ammunition for a sniper rifle, a health potion, and an odd object, with a symbol of a shield being struck by an arrow on it. An emerald glowed softly in the center of the object and the Ministry of Arcane Science logo was on its side. It also had a clamp to attach to armor or clothing. It might not make much sense to her, but anypony else might be able to make something of it. If Neon decided to put it on her armor, a low pitched charging sound would come out of it, followed by a high pitched beep a few seconds later, along with the emerald flashing. If she didn’t, it would make no sound.

Neon successfully used the key to unlock the cage. The ponies left the cage, thanked the group for rescuing them, took the sniper rifle from the dead pegasus, and ran right for Grayhoof, where Sunny would probably treat them nicely.

As for the rest of the group’s looting, there was some old pre-war snack foods lying around, as well as a couple jars of food that Sacred would recognize as fresh from the Enclave. Also, hidden under some rubble was a suit of Enclave scout armor, badly damaged. Jager would find himself a couple 10mm pistols, a flare gun, and a shotgun with its barrel snapped in half. Civviq and Tender would find a few useful scraps among the shitty camp for shitty ponies.

Viola looked up at Sacred and smiled. “I’ll be fine… ‘Tis only a flesh wound…” She said, pulling herself up. She looked at herself. Her cloak was rekt by the flames, so she threw what was left of it off, showing her whole body. Her right wing, along with everything from her flanks back was mechanical. Her cutie mark was painted on her flanks. Strangely enough, her tail looked real though. She gave her hind legs a quick test, standing up on them, then back on all fours. “Yup, nothing’s broken. Bruised and burnt, but not broken. Save the potions for bullet wounds.”

Neon would wave to the ponies she just released, then stare intensely at the odd object she had found on the pegasus...After a few seconds, she clipped it onto her trenchcoat to save her pockets some space, but flinching at the beeping, hastily staring around in surprise. But then she saw the flashing and jumped back, growling angrily and not understanding where it came from, but she would soon ignore it, wandering back over to the rest of the group. But as soon as she saw Viola, she'd stop in her traps, blinking. "Gearhead..." She mumbled, confused. She'd seen prosthetics, but not at this level. As well, Neon would look for the ghoul and hand over the sniper ammunition, as Neon did not need it. But Neon would definitely watch Jager as she saw that flare gun. "Burn Toy?" She asked him, pointing at it, the psychotic mare partially recognizing it.
