The Best Night Ever (Private)

"Oh?" Harmony raised an eyebrow. "Why?"

"Nobles are dicks." He replied, nuzzling her neck.

"Oh, uh... I see." Harmony coughed. "But why do you have to deal with nobles anyway? Isn't that the Princess' job?"

"Yes, but I'm the bridge between the ordinary ponies, and the princess. I do a lot of talking."

"Sounds like you're really important, dear." Harmony nuzzled him.

"Sometimes I wish I wasn't." He murmured, nuzzling back.

"Oh, don't be like that." Harmony smiled. "Somepony's gotta do it, right? You're saving somepony else the hassle."

"True enough sweetie~"

"So," Harmony laughed, "what was that about the cake again?"

He held out another spoonful, grinning.

Harmony gulped it down. "This is... nice. The whole evening, I mean."

"I would hope so~" He purred, kissing her.

"What are we going to do after this?" She asked, before returning the kiss fervently.

"Guess~" He moaned.

"Oh." She smiled. "That'll make up for earlier."

"Oh will it now~?"

"Maybe more than make up for it." Harmony purred.

"Well then. We best get home~" He purred and picked her up.

"Heheh." Harmony giggled as Paladin hoisted her into the air.

He placed her on his back and ate some of the cake.

"So, we're going home now?" Harmony asked.

"Mhmm~" He nodded and kissed her, walking out of the private booth.

None of the other patrons in the restaurant turned to look at him as he departed.

He paid the Maitre De on the way out, before carrying her home.

Harmony giggled, letting Paladin carry her with an anticipatory grin on her face.
