With the herald of the cock's crow, the dawn brought with it the tendrils of sunlight snaking into the room and onto Paladin's and Harmony's eyelids, summoning them both from the realm of dreams.

Paladin snorted and opened his eyes, kissing Harmony's cheek.

"Hm...?" Harmony's eyelids cracked open. "Ungh. Too early. Wake me up in five minutes."

"Alright sweetie~" He purred and walked into the bedroom proper.

Harmony squeezed her eyes shut, falling back to sleep in short order.

Paladin looked around the room proper.

The bed was just as undisturbed as it was last night, with the sheets well-made. There seemed to be no sign of recent habitation.

"Where is she...?" Paladin walked back into the side room, sitting down on the bed.

Harmony still lay in bed, fast asleep. She snored softly.

He shook his head and lay down next to her. "I love you Harmony."

"Hm?" Harmony opened her eyes. "Me too, Paladin."

He kissed her. "I have to go find Cell. You coming with me?"

"Um..." Harmony gave herself a quick look. "I think I should clean up first." She swung her legs over the bed.

He nodded, turning the shower on for her. "I'll have one after you."

"You can go first, if you want." She said.

He shrugged and slipped into the shower, washing himself off before srying himself. "I'm gonna go see if she's around."

"Alright. See you later, then." She slipped into the shower after him.

He kissed her before trotting out into the hallway.

The hallway was still lined with soldiers, all holding spears, who saluted him as he walked past.

"Have any of you seen the Princess?"

"She should still be in the throne room, sir." One of them replied. "She's been there since yesterday."

"Really?" He spun and began to walk to the throne room.

As he walked to the throne room, the lines of guards became steadily denser and denser.

He opened the doors and stepped inside.
