Piercing the ghostly veil

Ash was glad nothing jumped out to get Pyro. They were technically one pony down, so fighting things would be more difficult. Plus, he did have some precious cargo to take care of. He knew he couldn't just hang back from a fight and do nothing. He could hang back and shoot arrows though, nothing wrong with that. He fell in line behind Pyro and waited for him to go through before going through himself.

pyro looked att both sides Before he enterd the door, seemingly fading as he enterd though cryo didint seem fazed by it as he followed along his human companion.

on the otherside of the large metal door, the atmosphere grew more ominus as twilight had fallen in this pixelated grassland as a similar looking metal gate awaited just a small distance away and in the middle of the path was a pool of light which looked rejouvinating as it had a Icon of a red heart with a small green "+" besides it.

"this feels, soooo familiar, but i cant put it where i have seen this, or Heard this" pyro said as he also directed attention to the sudden appearance of the Music in the background, bobbing his head, which scale did too.

Ash was rather weirded out by the situation. Then again, he figured he shouldn't be surprised. That mist messed with a bunch of things, so random background music was probably the least weird thing, and the least dangerous.

"Well, who wants to bet that heart with the plus sign next to it is a good thing?" Ash asked with a little whimsy. Not knowing if something was going to jump out at them, he cautiously walked up to the heart with his bow at the ready.

when ge got Close, he could feel himself feeling renewed and ontop of his game again, the zone where the heart was above was a restoration zone, cryo and pyro also Went into it to feel themself restored as scale seemed more happier now as she still held a good grip on ash.

when both cryo and pyro felt well enough, they headed to the next metal gate/door as they stood infront of it, 2 dissconected gears on the sides of the gate snapped back to Place to Place on each side as there where also other gears connected to the opening mecanisim and started to turn as steam spewed out and the gate was open.

one open, cryo and pyro nodded to each other and enterd trough the gate, dissapearing from wiev

"come on ash, lets go with them" scale said

Ash was thankful for the healing boost. He felt like he could take on an army. He knew better than to actually try that though, as he wanted to survive this. Ash followed Cyro and Pyro in, staying alert in case there was something dangerous through the gate.

through the gate there was a sudden shift in scenery, from the plains/grasslands now gave way to a mix between a medival Town area and overgrown wilderness, the att the far end of the "room" stood a lone unicorn, dressed in Royal clothes of the olden Days, looking out att the Town with a solem sigh.

"so, you 3 are the ones that are causing such a hassle here...figures... you where sent by the "princesses" i presume?" the unicorn said, his back still facing the Group, though he probably has the same Point of view as them.

"Um, we just got here," Ash said, rather annoyed that they were being accused of causing trouble, "We're actually trying to fix this mess, thank you. And yes, we were sent by the Princesses. You could be a little grateful." Ash already did not like this unicorn. There was something off about all of this, but he couldn't figure out what it was.

"grateful? HAH! who are you to say that you are fixing this "mess"? what if this "mess" is how the World should have been, not led by those abominations you call "princesses"! what you are seeing is a World changed to its original laws and roots, the very prime time of the 3 pony races, particularly the unicorns, i was going to be thier leader as the other tribes bowed down to us if it wherent for those blasted wendigos...!" the unicorn then turned around to face the Group, having grey coat with a yellow and black mane, not looking to happy

Ash blinked and stared at this unicorn for a moment before saying, "You mean you're the one who made this happen? Dude, you need a straitjacket. There is no law to this place! Now hold still, I have an arrow with your name on it." He then readied an arrow and aimed it at the unicorn.

the unicorn just chuckled att ash att his statement "you poor misguided fool, you Think you can take on somepony with centuries of experience with a measly bow? i shall have every one follow my laws and rules when my work here is done and the abominations gone forgood, a land that would have been rightfully mine all those centuries ago."

the unicorn would then do something with his magic as he casted a wave of force from himself towards the group, pyro and cryo where struck by it and where launched out of the "room" as the unicorn said "no off worlders will be allowed in my domain!"
