An Inviting Nest

Aerv shrugged and looked around the room, his eyes mostly focusing on the curtain. "I suppose you could avoid family dinners for a while, at least that's what I'd do." he answered. "But then again, I know not of how things around here work."

Nuria sighs and looks up at Aerv with a small smile. "You've got a lot to learn about us kirin it seems." She says, letting out a small laugh and snuggling with the dragon.

"Perhaps I do. Always fun to learn about races I rarely ever see." Aerv answered and smiled back at Nuria, ruffling her mane again with his claw. "But I suppose further learning can wait until tomorrow. I am pretty tired.." he says and chuckles before lying his head down.

Nuria lays still next to Aerv and closes her eyes. "You can learn later if you want." She says, comfortable next to the warm dragon. "... Sleep well, good dragon..." She says, starting to drift off herself. The two had exerted a lot of energy and Nuria was tired now.

Aerv sighed in relief as he saw Nuria relax. He was glad that such scenarios didn't include anyone that knew him well. He slowly closed his eyes but stayed awake, almost as if waiting for Nuria to fall asleep before he does.

Nuria does indeed drift off to sleep, huddled up next to the dragon and enjoying his warmth. Quiet breaths signal that she still lives as she lays there. She unconsciously nuzzles the dragon a moment and falls still once again.

Aerv grinned as he finally felt Nuria fall asleep. He slowly hoovered a sheet to them, covering Nuria with it before drifting off into the world of dreams himself.
