| Star frowned a little, sighing as Sharp responded with a sad smile. Of course she wasn't okay. She had watched Princess Twilight die right in front of her...So why wasn't he feeling anything about it? He just silently continued following Scarlet. When they got to the bridge, he eyed it with a sense of worry. Bridges were always bad news... He continued to follow across the bridge when Sharp cried out. Almost instantly, his instincts kicked in as he turned and looked at Sharp. He spread his wings and quickly flew around to the back of her, hooking his forehooves around her arms and trying to pull her up. "Hold on!" | |

| "Fucking hell's bells," Dust cursed quickly upon the planks snapping. "Have you got this?" she asked Star. If so, she would continue along the bridge. If not, she would obviously try to help pull Star out. "Where's the nearest safe spot?" | |

| Verde is sticking near Scarlet as they advance and hears the wood groaning behind them as they cross the bridge. She looks down skeptically. "I can't imagine that this bridge would be entirely safe to..." she begins to say before she stops suddenly and turns as the ominous sounds turn into the sharp crack of the bridge giving way under Sharp and the mare plunging nearly out of sight. She doesn't even hesitate, splaying out on her belly and using both of her hooves to grab Sharp's hoof in a genuine deathgrip, pulling on the hoof with all her might to prevent the mare from plunging to her death--or worse. | |

| Thanks to the combined efforts of the group, who acted before Scarlet could even hope to work her way in, Sharp was saved from the fall to the streets below. However there were now 3 ponies all in about the same spot on an old, worn down, rickety old bridge, that creaking and cracking that followed was entirely necessary. It was probably for the best that Scarlet didn't manage to get there for if she had, that probably would have been the breaking point that sent the entire group of ponies tumbling to the horrors of the street below, but she didn't and so the bridge held out for the moment. The scream however didn't go unnoticed, and after just a second or two of dead silence after the group managed to hoist up Sharp, the first of the unnatural cries could be heard.
"So much for quiet, EVERYPONY MOVE!" Scarlet yelled through her own mask as she took off the rest of the way across the bridge. It wasn't too much farther, the group was about at the midway point when Sharp had her little spill, but Scarlet wasn't stopping to wait for them to catch up, this was a case of catch up or be left behind to the horrors. Luckily it was a pretty straight forward shot. The bridge let out into a bleak little room of a house with only one door leading into a hallway. Down the hallway all the other doors were shut but could be forced open, and there was a set of stairs leading down to the first floor. Outside, the cries of the monsters could be heard getting louder and more numerous as the seconds ticked by, and soon heavy thumps from them hitting the side of the building filled the air along with their cries. There was also the snap of rope as the bridge was torn down.
Any who went on the first floor, they wouldn't have to look hard to find a clue where Scarlet had gone. The only open door that was even still swinging on it's hinges was beneath the stairs and led farther down, into a basement it would seem. In the damp and mostly dark space beneath the house. the group would finally find Scarlet, holding open another of the large bank vault like doors that lead into another decontamination chamber, but gave no hint of what laid beyond. "Hurry!" she pleaded whenever any of the group appeared. Though there were plenty of other rooms to investigate in the house for those that didn't immediately try to follow Scarlet. | |
