The wendigo facing Ician chuckled, raising two ice shields, one deflecting both Ician's swords and Blade's bolt, the second catching the knives. It dropped the shields just as quickly, a blade of ice forming in its hoof as it swung at Ician.

The stallion with the hammer yawned, turning on his hoof as he trotted back to his carriage, murmuring some about 'bloody children and their bloody adventures.' Pariah watched him, picking up his bow and dispatching all the remaining wendigoes, bar the one facing Ician.

In the distance, the crystal empire had come into view.

"Can't say I do..." She muttered, glancing at Krix. Unfortunately for the small group, they would find little other reference to the cave, or the dark magic in the cave.

After the searching failed to yield any additional results, Krix turned his attention towards just legends in general. Going about through the old tomes and not letting this opportunity to get information on his next few expeditions while they continued to await the others who were hopefully still on their way. After all, it wasn't often that a diamond dog had such access to the vast library archives of the crystal empire. There were tomes from a thousand years prior in still amazing condition and Krix was all for looking at the legends that might have only been wrote a few weeks prior.

Ician ducked quickly, hoping it was fast enough to dodge the blade of ice. He resummoned two of his swords to his front and began using one to parry the blade of ice and the other to counterattack, while using the remaining two swords to swing at the wendigo from the back. What he lacked in magic spells, at least, he could make up for in telekinetic skill.
