Bronze chuckled. "I appreciate the offer but like I said we're losing daylight; I'll definitely want the walking generator by my side tomorrow though." She nodded her approval, walking out the door and leading him back to her ship where she quickly piled a few boxes of food and supplies into his arms; the wind was already picking up slightly outside as the sun went down, Bronze's exceptionally long mane and tail billowing out around her and yet despite her exposure she didn't seem to even feel the cold.

"Well, I figure it's only fair we alternate meals given the slightly dodgy components we'll be using for it; how does some sweet potatoes and lamb stew sound?" She asked as she walked them back to the Galley. "I'll make sure yours doesn't have meat if you want."

It took a moment, but he thought he grasped what she was getting at. "Oh, right... She could've been working hard all day as is... But did she work so hard to not care if she revealed herself to me, or...?" Simply nodding to her and helping her with the extra supplies to be brought in as he pondered, the time would come when the wind did him the favor of looking her all over with even less in the way, which made him snort lightly before they made their way back inside, with a somewhat brighter demeanor given what he'd gone through over the day. "So that's what her marks looks like... But knowing her legs and flanks are like a pair of blooming cocoa trees is the greatest discovery by far~!"

He'd snap back to full coherency once she asked him about the food later once he closed the door behind them on the way in, placing the food away and other supplies away as needed. "Uh...! W-... I don't mind if it's just the broth. Only meat I really like to eat is fish... And, uh... Bronze, are you not in any way whatsoever feeling a little bit cold...? That was quite the breeze outside, and you're still..... Very trusting around me from what I can see."

"Well I've got some salmon here, that should do fi-" Bronze interrupted herself at the further questions from Sugary, look down and let out a small 'oooooh' sound, as if she had only just realised. "Oh right, yeah... I keep forgetting that's a griffon thing." She admitted, putting down her supplies and beginning to stack them in the galley cupboards as appropriate.

"It just becomes a habit after a bit; before you can really be a smith around Griffhalla you need to work in the factories for a while. It's rough work and the forges are sensitive, so you have to live on-sight during the work week and there ain't a lot of room in there; since everyone goes through it to get better jobs and since we all only had the same dorm, it just kinda became second nature." Bronze explained as she picked the fish out of one of the boxes and began to chop it up.

"It wasn't bad honestly; no one was weird about it since it became so desensitised after a while and you never had to worry about thieves or anything since we all shared the same space, you couldn't steal without getting ratted out even if ya wanted ta." She said, smiling then pausing. "It's not a problem is it? I can go grab me jumpsuit again if it is." She offered in a reassuring tone.

Sugary quickly shook his head at Bronze's concern. "No! Perish the thought that your looks would ever be problematic in my presence!" He meant it, for split reasons. "To lose sight of those gorgeous legs so soon would be a little depressing..." And then came about a perhaps more pure reasoning, having a slight nostalgic look to his eyes. "... It is surprising to see an Equestrian having more modesty where it counts of course. I am no stranger to bearing your true self upon others at all times, but sadly few places around this world seem to really be alright with it..."

He then touched upon his now somewhat tattered clothing. "I was born and raised in a village where wearing clothing was optional. I would see others for what they were and in turn they would do the same with me. Bodylanguage and gestures was very much second nature to be sure even if no one said a thing, especially when it came to whether or not one appreciated being stared at one way or another. You can imagine the bit of culture shock I had to deal with when I wanted to take casual strolls around towns under Celestia's realm, bask in the sun, stars, and wind, and admire others..." He sighed a little, but grinned. "Though no amount of clothing can cover the fact that few were pleased to actually look my way that wasn't guards coming over to 'set me straight'. The message only became clearer the more I traveled, so you can imagine my confusion seeing you like this... But it's refreshing all the same."

He then sat down on a chair, still smiling. "... Besides, I can tell you'd rather stay that way anyway. Unless I've lost practice and you're actually feeling less relaxed now...?" He was looking her up and down subtly, assessing her bodylanguage. Was he seeing early signs of exhaustion as he suspected already? "... And if you were that hard at work today, I could cook for you?"

Bronze simply nodded along to his story of where he had come from, it hadn't exactly been a shock from the times she had met him before that he wasn't from around Equestria; he made Razor seem positively well adjusted, though thankfully far less likely to start a fight in a public place and more to confuse a social norm or two.

"Well, I'm about as relaxed as one can be to be sitting in a ship held together with about half the structural integrity that one should have and a bit of good luck on top of one of the most windstorm prone mountaintops in the kingdoms." She deadpanned before snorting a little at the absurdity of the situation once she spelled it out finally. "I've gotta be honest, I wouldn't say no to not havin' to do the cooking; the head of the trade federation is asking me to do repairs on the next airship to travel to the Griffons and he has about as much patience as a bloody guard dog fed a nice old bowl of chili peppers." Bronze said, sweeping her mane a bit in annoyance.

He scrunched his muzzle a bit at the reminder. "... I'll get the kitchen setup then; It's stable enough as is, I just need to know if you want something in particular. That being said, do you intend to bathe before or after dinner? As vibrant as you sound regarding work elsewhere, you've got a little smudge here and there, and food might not be done for a while."

"I usually take a shower after dinner." Bronze told him when he asked, reaching up into a cabinet for some plates, reaching the cabinet with more ease than Sugary himself would without magic given how tall she was. "It's just my routine; when we work in the factories and the forges, a shower is the last thing you do before you retire to the quarters for the evening, having one any earlier just throws my schedule all off."

Bronze set the table in the kitchen with knives, forks and glasses. "Oh yeah, should I get something to drink from my ship? The water might not be safe for drinking yet in here, your filters are a bit knackered. I've got cider, wine, ale, what's your poison?" She asked, putting on her duster coat for now though she didn't bother with the rest of her clothes.

He looked to her, both grateful and thoughtful, regarding the offer. "None, for the most part. One could argue I'm more sober than a Royal Guard..." He smiled a bit. "Work or necessity could come at any moment, and I'd rather be sharp at all times if I can help it to act on it... With one exception." As he got the food to being prepared, he briefly paused. "... White wine. A little anyway. I like the sweet flavor." He looked to her once more, still smiling. "... But red is fine if that's all you got. As long as we get to toast for good fortune at least."

"Well I dunno about the Equestrian ones that aren't named Razor Back but being more sober than a member of the Black Watch around here ain't exactly hard." Bronze snarked. "Constantly hangin' around the fire exits of the factories acting like they're expectin' trouble when really they just wanna grab a quick slosh of brandy before their shift." Still the thestral nodded and walked out of the kitchen, fastening her coat up to make the walk between the two airships.

"I got a bottle of Cherry Jubilee's finest if you want a more local flavor." Bronze called out as she returned with a group of bottles clutched underneath her arm. "Can't remember ever goin' for that one when I was in Equestria, probably part of Razor's last batch that she left behind. Ah well, can't miss what you never had." Bronze shrugged, setting the bottles down on the table and taking a few quick sniffs of the air.

He laughed heartily with her comments on officers and a mutual friend on certain habits, but waited calmly regardless on her return as he took to cooking some of what she brought on the lack of an answer on what she hungered for in the meantime as she left for a bit.

The unicorn then rolled his eyes at the batch the thestral brought over along as well as her remark. "We can assume Razor would want them to not go wasted at least. I'd say you're doing her a favor, but cherry wine does sound, and..." He got close to smell, and while there was a soft shudder out of him, he had a pleased smile. "Mm~... Smells pretty good." He then looks to the meal being made. "How's this looking so far by the way? Pretty much just frying it up as quickly as I can..." The fire going strong, the kitchen was a bit stuffy aside from the open window and the breeze they had, the regulation of temperature missing from the usual options the airship provided as he lightly rubbed his brow from sweat.

Bronze nodded to him and quickly retrieved a corkscrew to pop the cork on the cheery wine, shrugging her coat off and hanging it over the back of one of the chairs to once again be bare and comfortable before she sat down at the table.

"Well it all looks fine from where I'm sitting, then again I've usually been quite content with the slop Grundy serves at his food carriage so maybe I'm not the best judge eh?" Bronze remarked from the table, pouring herself and Sugary a glass of the wine. "Oh yeah, we sleeping on your ship or mine? Because I hate to break it to ya, there's a bit of an issue with the south side wall of your room... like the fact it's not there anymore."

He began to sniff the air even more, snorting at the scent that time. "That's... a bit stronger than I thought." He had mixed feelings about it, but remained resolute to share something good with a good companion.

There was a light chuckle out of him at her story, up until the reminder of the state of his bedroom. "Hrmm..... The guest room is mostly in one piece still, we can rest there. Fortunately very little of my things were broken badly, but it's still messy." Little by little, the meal would be fried up, eventually completed as a mix of vegetables and fish, and lay it on the table for self-service. "Ah... At least the kitchen is nice..."

"It's a lot weaker than the spirits in Griffhalla, I can tell ya that for free." Bronze assured him as he sat down. "That stuff could peel the paint off your walls if you let it, I'm telling ya." Bronze said as she piled fish onto her plate along with a generous helping of spuds and broccoli. "Mmmm..." The thestral purred in a low rumble as she took her first large bite out of her food. "Yeah, you definitely beat Grundy's food." She assured him as she tucked in.

"Guest bedroom sounds fine. Hopefully you don't mind rooming, my ship ain't really made for overnights and I'd really not hang out in a hammock during the storms you get up here." Bronze added to Sugary as she looked around. "The Mambo's a good bit sturdier."

As he began to eat, he looked to her with a mix of concern and confusion for the most part, but ultimately he was grateful for her words and even smiling a little again. "I should hope she is. Damages might've been more severe... But..." He cocked a brow. "It is my home and all, so don't sweat you resting here, I was planning on letting you from the start anyway... Although Bronze, honestly... If you think my meals are that good, I think you should probably be avoiding that Grundy's meals... They sound very terrble." He looked to her very exposed belly. "... Unless you got yourself an Iron Gut out of it."

"Hey, if it doesn't come back up right away and it fills your belly for the duration of a long shift, you don't turn your nose up at it." Bronze shrugged, taking several more mouthfuls off of her plate as Sugary talked. "Nah, the old gut's not gone yet, wait for another furnace to blow up in my face and I'll get back to you on that one." The thestral seemed pleasantly blase about the fact she had once been crippled by a detonating piece of factory equipment, taking another sip of her wine with the metal arm she had gotten as a result.

"Didn't anyone ever tell you not to stare?" Bronze joked, waving her real hand at him. "You watch it, I stomp hard enough and the floor'll probably give out under ya." She laughed. "Nah I'm kiddin', honestly it's held together pretty well, I didn't think it'd be safe to remain in."

Somehow, she kept perplexing him as she spoke on about how her days went by. Personally, he thought she worked a rather stressful and tough way, but he was hardly one to judge about daily oddities. As for her jest, he still snorted at her before staring with a grin to her face. "I'm gonna count on you to make it safer for us, so maybe don't joke about making your own work harder, you silly filly..."

He then chuckled as he pointed his fork to her in general. "... And what exactly do I not get to stare at? I can see just about everything you got from here; I'm hardly being rude about it... Or am I seeming too devious about it?" He figured he was just admiring, if anything.
