Sugary looked upon the hot tub, and smirked. "Ah, great find. Guess I won't b needing this now." He clapped his hands, mostly for show as he stared at Stetson, and conjured away most of his clothes to only be left wearing his shorts, revealing the rest of his physique to her. He hummed, and offered her a hand. "... Need help taking something off, or...?"

Razor actually laughed at that. "Ha. First time anyone's ever called me approachable in my life, so you're either lying or a flatterer." Razor remarked to Tabi, not seeming to mind either of those options much. "You'd be surprised how much being in a crowd makes it all the more obvious when you're paying attention to one person and not the crowd." Razor added, accepting the offered hand and shaking it. "Razor Back." She said, giving a very firm handshake, and Tabi could feel the rough hands of someone used to working with their hands.

Tea Leaf sighed as he looked out onto the pool where Bronze was swimming with some of the other guests. "Still won't look me in the eyes..." He whispered, more to himself than to Lunara, moving his eyes back to where Purse Cutter had finished her dance with the suited stallion and given him a kiss on the cheek before wandering off into the crowd. "I keep telling her she shouldn't feel guilty about it, but then I have to say it to myself for wanting to blame her."

Bronze herself shrugged. "Honestly this water is pretty warm compared to Griffhallan winters." She told Sweet, lying on her back and floating on the water; she had to use her wings to keep herself floating steadily as the weight of her mechanical arm kept wanting to drag her downwards. "I don't get to swim a lot safely really, a lot of the rivers up in the mountains lead off to waterfalls eventually. Not the best place to go treading."

(The following is done with Jam's consent.)

Sugary and Stetson would both make good of their time together to... talk about hats and helmets as they bathed together in little pool. It didn't seem like she wanted action that night, but instead sought a partner she could get to come to her place some other time instead, so he agreed to it after a fun talk between them as they looked upon one another and remained close in the soaking. He was at ease and interested, and she was at ease and interested; Their meeting would pay off eventually...

And so it was, that she'd go on her way, leaving the party early in full clothing and dried off, with him escorting her out, having donned the costume again, and waving past Tea Leaf. They bid their farewells, and he made his way towards the dining room quickly as he was a lot hungrier now since he hadn't eaten yet, and Stetson had been enticing for different reasons.

He at least gave a respectful tip of his straw hat to Purse who finished her lovely dance, before chowing down on the first juicy thing he could find... Be it fruit, vegetable, or fish. One desire sated at a time at least as he spoke to those around. "Oh~! This is delicious~!"

Indicus casually swam around the pool careful not to bump into any of the other swimmers, as he tended to do he listened to the conversations around him fitting together some sort of impression of each individual a habit of his after years of military and assassination work. So far he only disliked the "Chosen One" character and the others seemed to be okay people. Though he still made no real attempt to talk though that would be partly due to not knowing anyone at the party.

Though in his absent minded swimming Indicus ended up bumping into Bronze causing him to come off balance.

Poppy grinned at Shanny and nodded softly, slowly raising a hand and tapping the Dragoness's thigh, sending a pulse of magic to ripple along Shanny's clothing, her maid uniform fading as the ripple flowed through. But Shanny would find as her outfit faded, it would be replaced with a black Bikini, tightly fitting to her form, possibly a size too small, but it wouldn't strain at all, the fabric magically reinforced, it seems. "Perfect~" Poppy purred, looking quite happily over Shanny's more-exposed form and giggling. "I hope it fits alright, dear~"

Sweet blushed softly, wings going limp beneath the water. She watched Bronze shyly and soon giggled. "Griffhalla, huh? I've heard a lot about the cold...I hate being too cold. But pools...have always been an exception, I guess." She shrugged lightly, then blinked. "I've always thought rivers were great to swim in...But waterfalls are a little scary..."

"Oohh, I dunno." Tabi shrugged at Razor's statement. "Must be my senses, but I can't really stand crowded places. It makes me all confused and such." she answered, taking note of Razor's hands during the handshake. "Say... what do you work with?" she curiously asked. If anything, she wanted to know Razor's occupation.

The giant dragoness eeped in surprise as her maid outfit was suddenly replaced with a black bikini. She could feel the slight tightness but did not want to mention it. Free clothing was hard to come by for her, after all, and she was only hoping that her maid outfit - that her current employer supplied - is actually stacked somewhere safe and ready to be re-used in perfect form. "Ah, just s-slightly surprised." she explained her reaction before looking at it. "Let's hope it won't... tear. I have bad experiences with that." she said, blushed and giggled afterwards before slowly sliding into the pool, creating a slightly bigger wave that would travel over the whole pool. "Ahhh... T-thanks again." she said to Poppy and gave her a warm smile before relaxing in the water. "Say... where are you from?" Shanny asked, trying to spark more conversations to not create awkward silences.

Lunara sighs and gives Tea Leaf a sympathetic pat on the shoulder. "Undeserved guilt is always irrational," she says. "You can't reason it away and no number of assurances that you did no wrong will help if you're convinced to your very depths that you have done wrongly. I imagine your friend only needs time to come to terms with the fact that whatever bad thing happened in which she believes she failed you, she had no power to stop it." She looks pensive for a moment. "Do you... do you think that she could have done anything to prevent you from being lamed? Any specific thing? Or is it a general feeling of feeling like she could have somehow done something in some way you can't presently imagine?"

"Most griffons don't mind them to be honest with you dear. I mean, what's a drop to a being with wings? Only thing is, I have to lug this around." Bronze held up her metal arm wrapped in it's protective sleeve. "Doesn't do so great for balance, quick flights are a recipe for a crash and a broken nose more often than not." Bronze looked around curiously as Purse Cutter strolled out onto the pool area. "Hey Purse, how are-" Bronze was cut off as a figure drifted into her. "-you?" She finished, looking down in puzzlement at the figure in the water.

Razor indicated with a nod back to where Viridian was sitting and began to walk back. "Usually? My fist around people's throats. Or around a sword hilt going into their throats; I've been in the royal guard's night division for over a decade now." She said, keeping her head turned to Tabi and yet somehow not walking into people, or tables. "The scars make for great talking points."

Tea Leaf sighed. "I... I suppose part of me thinks maybe she could've been a little faster." He admitted. "Or maybe I should've sent her in since she's a better fighter, or maybe I should've just shot the bastard when I... no, I don't blame her. But there's part of me that does, and it's that part of me that seems to speak directly to Bronze these days." He took another long swig of wine. "Everyday that goes by she doesn't smile anymore. Don't be fooled by seeing her shape her mouth like a smile; I know her smile, you could light up the Canterlot mines with it, and lately when she looks like she's smiling I've never seen her more dim."

Poppy giggled delightedly, eyes still roaming Shanny's form every so often. "Oh, it won't tear, the threading and fabric is magically reinforced. It should also readjust to fit you better, but the magic needs to scan your form a bit better. Give it time~" She purred, grinning and slipping backwards as the Dragoness slipped into the water. She thought about the woman's question with a hum. "Originally, I was from Ponypt. Most Sphinx originate from there, as far as I can recall... But after a century or two, I came over to Equestria. This place is much more fun, I will say. So few deserts in comparison to my homeland."

Sweet blushed softly, nodding, her own wings flaring a little and shifting. "I-I guess flight is an option...I just still really hate being too cold." She mumbles shyly, as if thinking about something not-so-fun. But then she just listened. "Ow...How heavy is it?" She asked politely, looking up suddenly as she heard Bronze call out to what Sweet assumed was a friend.

Indicus flailed for a moment before regaining his balance and looking at the mare he ended up running into with a nervous smile. "Shit, sorry ma'am I was kinda stuck in my head while swimming laps and well apparently bumped in to you. I'll get out of your mane ma'am, have a nice night,"

Indicus started swimming away this time paying more attention while he muttered a string of choice curses for his stupid mistake, and piss poor handling of it afterwards. Especially since he took a bit of pride in his professional demeanor.

"And they look really good on you," Viridian adds as Razor strolls close enough for her to hear her last comment about the scars. "Granted, most normal ponies accumulate signs of getting better like degrees on the wall, pictures, mementos of achievements, and stuff like that. Still, I can't complain about having a marefriend that eats nails and spits out thumbtacks." She winks to Razor before looking to Tabi, standing and extending a hand as the wolfess gets closer. "Viridian Rain. And you are?"

Lunara nods and sighs heavily. "I know what it's like. I simply don't have the words to properly encompass how many times I've seen the same thing in victims of crime, and especially those who care about them. The loss seems to drain all the joy and life from them. You can practically see their heart going out of them and watch eyes bright with spirit, love, and life become glass walls protecting themselves from the world and barring the world from seeing how much they hurt. What has been taken from the friends and family of victims is in many ways something worse than what has been taken from the victim, even when the victim is crippled or dead. The sense they've always had, deep in their hearts, that they will be there for their loved one, that they'll fight the good fight for them, that they'll somehow always be there to step in front of that bullet, is stripped away. They feel like they didn't love enough, didn't try hard enough, weren't loyal or brave enough, that they should be in pain, not the other person. Some part of them feels cheated of what, in their twisted view, is justice: that they should be punished for failing to miraculously stop something they had no power over. I cannot say that I know your friend, Tea Leaf, but it's not hard for me to imagine that when that monster shattered your leg and laughed, something just broke inside of her."
She reaches out a hand and lays it over the one of his that grasps the wine glass. "And it's far, far worse for those of us who have power. Political, monetary, physical, mental, magical, official... all power, all representing a set of choices that ordinary people will never be able to make, and a whole new plethora of ways to make costly mistakes. Mistakes like pursuing your child into the jaws of a trap set by a creature that passionately hated you, and would have died with a smile if he knew he'd hurt you." She takes a breath and lets his hand go, taking a light sip of her own wine. "I've made that mistake before, more than once before, and it's only because I have been lucky far beyond any right I have to be that I do not walk with a cane, or lay in a vanished box surrounded by weeping friends and family." She swishes the wine around in her glass contemplatively. "If you don't mind me being a little too bold, Tea Leaf, perhaps you ought to take that part of yourself that blames Bronze out and put a bullet in his head because believe you me: he's poison. Poison for you, poison for those that love you, and poison for those you love. As poisonous as Diamond Tip himself, just in a much more insidious way."

"Ponypt, huh.." Shanny thought out loud at Poppy's answer, still glad that at least one swimsuit was durable enough for her. "I may have visited it once while searching for jobs, though I don't remember if I'm thinking of the right place. How does it look like there?" she curiously asked, trying her best to recall of any place with said name, her eyes running over everyone else in the pool. She had only hoped that with her size she wasn't taking too much space in there, and the water level noticeably changed upon her entry.

"Ah, that sort of work. I see." Tabi answered and chuckled, sipping from her glass and watching Razor make her way back to the previous pony she's had conversation with. She slowly followed behind until she got close enough to Viridian. She slowly takes her arm and shakes it. "Tabi." she shortly answers before releasing her hand and making a slight step back, looking around before sipping her drink again.

For Sugary, the night would end a little early when he got so enthralled with the food that he filled up in one go, sampling meal after meal after meal; For a strong stallion, he certainly burned a lot of energy from time to time. But now he yawned, bid his farewell to the other guests nearby, and casually walked back to the room he had chosen to be his own to turn in for the night... Strumming the Ukulele once more for a bit of flair before the door closed behind him...
