Ballroom Blitz: Haley VS Blade

The massive room was filled with smoke, laser lights, and the thumping beats of heavy metal. On the glass dance floor were dozens of ponies, gryphons, diamond dogs, and numerous others, dancing wildly, even as the gigantic speaker beneath the glass floor thumped with enough force to make them bounce around against their will.

Everyone was cheering, screaming, and up on the stage was the mad wizard that kept this unholy party alive.

And now, it was time for the party to go full bore CRAZY!

"Alright everypony!" Haley shouted over the din, the two-foot-tall squirrel-woman's voice managing to pierce through thrumming beats and howling partiers, "Let's kick it into full gear! Let's get SANCTIFIED WITH DYNAMITE!"

The guard strode into the room, pushing people aside in order to his way through the room. His ears hurt from the loud noise and he was having a hard time just to stand up with the music actually shaking the floor beneath him. The words seemed silly and obviously were not anything to take seriously, but it honestly did sound pretty good. Yet, music taste aside, he made his way closer and closer to where the DJ was. His golden armor would easily give away what he was. He had a circular shield on his left arm and with a short sword strap to hip. She was honestly his only chance outside of sheer luck in finding the pony he was looking for.

"Oh? Well thsi is new" Haley muttered, the low sound drowned away amongst the booming music.

"Now what, praytell, is one of the esteemed Royal Guard doing crashing a birthday party all by himself?" She asked, directing the question right to the royal guard, whom was now within earshot.

The guard had to admit, he thought she would be a little taller. He didn't know why, but he did. He had a feeling she didn't like him being there, but not enough to be angry. "I have come to look for your employer. He currently has warrant out for his arrest and we received a tip that he hired you for this party, yes?" He pulled out a small picture out from his shield which actually had small slots in order to put in paperwork and seemed to close through magic.

Haley leaps from her perch atop her turntables and, flapping open thin flaps of skin along her sides, glides down to meet the guard, landing at his feet, and LESS than eye-level to his crotch.

"I'm down here, sugar." She leaps up and grabs the papers, examining them. " ...Aight, I have RULES here, you know. You want to arrest him? Wait until the party is OVER. Dude's the birthday boy and I don't see any murder charges on here."

The stallion kneeled down in order to become closer to eye level with her. "Yes, that's because his paying you with the money he embezzled that he has crippled the company he worked for and attempted to blame on somepony else. I am sure he has ruined many people's birthdays in order to afford this party. So, I ask you to break this rule for this one time, please. I doubt he will stay long with me here and you are probably the only person that could point him out to me in the crowd."

Haley snarls, not exactly a fan of being caught in this mess....then she gets an idea.

"Alrighty then, how about a deal, kid?"

He doesn't move though he grimaces at her her reaction to his words, but the sound of the deal did seem interesting. "What do you have in mind?" His brow raising slightly now.

Haley smiles.

"You, me, on the dance floor. You beat me? you can take him now. You lose? You sit your ass down and WAIT for the party to end. Deal?"

Blade grimaced at the offer given and sighed. "So, I am guessing this is a regular battle, yes?" He asked while glancing at the crowd that had gathered for the party. If the answer was yes, then he would continue. "Are there any way to keep the crowd safe from this battle?" It didn't matter though it just meant he would have to more careful in the fact than he expected, either way, he would nod. "I will accept your offer, but only if you promise me that you can ensure that no one is allowed to leave the building until the battle is over."

Haley smiles and snaps her fingers, suddenly every single exit slams shut, a second balcony appears, elevating above the dance hall, revealing some choice seats for the dance floor, whihc was quickly emptied of other dancers, wanting to see the battle to come, "You're in my world now, not YOUR world."

The stallion had to admit that he was slightly enjoying things. Whether he won or lost, it didn't matter. He would get who he wanted and his pride might be slightly hurt, but again, it didn't matter if he got the job done. "But, even you can be caught unawares." He said while his horn shone its faint light and his magic flowed over his armor. "Since I really doubt that you understand what you got here."

Haley laughed, her fog machines coating the battlefield in smoke just deep enough to hide her when she crept along.  Laser lights filled the air, painting illusions, some fake, some realistic, on the fog, and the crash of music shifted in a new manner.

"Sorry 'Officer', but It's SHOWTIME!"

Lightning crashed, bats seemed to fly out of nowhere, and blasts of air, the thumping beat, and a seeming shift in the battlefieldd gave the feeling of standing tall on a roaring rollercoaster, rocking back and forth and up and down and in impossible directions, ghosts, goblins, monsters, giant spiders, French skeletons, over sized breasts and other manner of unspeakable horrors seemed to leap in and out of the impregnable fog, Haley nowhere to be seen even after the wild ride came to a CRASHING halt.

The stallion chuckled as he looked around him, easily noticing how hard it would be to spot the squirrel. "Yes, I have many parlor tricks, but I think I just need one for you." He muttered to himself as he his magically energy flowed out of his feet and onto the ground, slowly pushing afterwards in all directions. It was moving about the pace of an average stride of somepony his size. If the magic was to be felt, it would be obvious how faint and how weak the power was put into it. The solid magical energy would move around any solid object that forced it to part before continuing its extension and filling in the gap put into it after the object moved.

What the Guard may have expected was likely just one set of footprints moving in a single pattern.

What he 'saw' was multiple sets, or so it seemed, leaping from point to point in a seemingly erratic pattern, often jumping from one end of the field to the other to right behind him or in front, and sometimes a few seconds wih no signals at all of where she might be. Now how does THAT work!?

"Just one step ahead of the lawman, huh?" He said while easily noticing the strange pattern and simply no feeling on his magic. He still didnt cover the entire arena yet and it was not out of the realm of possibility that someone could be that fast, but the lack of a presence surprised him. He focused the magic covering the nearby area and used it to from a small dome over himself. He knelt down and focused on his magic, which was simply forcing him on the ground as it shifted radically as well as doing the small search. His mind slowly flushed out the sounds from the illusions. Now, small walls appeared in places where the the squirrel appeared and trying to keep her contained in a fairly large circle, about 5 feet wide and just as tall as her, before trying to close it in on her. If it failed, then it would seep down into ground as another shot back up in her current position.

Haley was moving WAY faster than expected, bobbing and weaving between the walls as they appear, going in directions that don't make uch sense to anyone but her. Zipping and dashing through the fog until she finally stopped....right on top of Blade's head. Much to the laughter of the audience. For additional giggles, she began making a variety of sensual poses on the guard's head.

Blade knew she was on him and that she was doing something on his head. Yet, obviously reacting outright would lead to her escape. The problem was simple, drop the dome around him. The magic would fade instantly, sending the squrriel into free fall. The magical energy around his body would even expand rapidly just to slam into her body, sending her flying out upwards and outwards to his sea of magical energy. It would all then raise all at once in have her slam into whatever she landed in and just let her sink in, letting her be caught in his magic.

It would keep a iron grip on her body as it acted like a telekinetic grip. She would not land on the ground and in order to ensure his victory, he had the sea collapse onto her body and putting more and more strength into his hold. Once he finished, it would be a dense orb about the size of a beach ball and with her head uncovered. If everything went according to plan, then he would speak. "If you struggle, it will explode and with some energy wrapped around you, it could be fatal."

Haley, upon feeling the dome drop out beneath her, pulled out the flaps of skin under her arms, her gliding membranes keeping her from dropping onto Blade's head, letitng her glide away before he can make a grab at her.

"Catch me if you can!"

A bubbly, pop-like beat flooded the room as Haley began deftly gliding and flying through the fog, which began to lift and raise and undulate, like a massive cloud field, taunting the guard to come and chase her.

He didn't feel her land and he hear her anywhere close to the ground. His magical energy rose up rapidly in order to catch her during her taunting, more than likely a few seconds afterwards. He doubted she could move that quickly in the air or at least he hoped to. It would first provide a small layer around her as it passed through her, looking her limps in place before the rest zoomed in to wrap around her.

Haley flew gracefuly through the air until the magiacal field managed to get a grip on her. It wasn't an issue at first, but she began struggling, feeling the magic envelope her, her own unnatural nature screwing with the magic and draining it slowly.

Blade turned to finally face her as his magic raced off of her body. He didnt know that she could absorb magic, much less from it. He shot what remained of his magic onto the magic barrier that was already on his body. Now, he was at an extreme disadvantage. His magic was the only way he could keep up and hold her, but now she could absorb that. She was also bigger which meant she was easier to see, but the speed and added mass would be scary.

Haley stood up and smiled, now towering head taller than Blade. Her outfit grew with her, but her breasts were at the perfect level....for both of them. Leaping forward, she grabbed at Blade, intent on wrapping her arms around his neck and shoving his face between her bountiful bosom.

Blade saw her coming towards him and reacted in him more offensive manner than was needed. He gave out a loud grunt as he brought up his arm in order to upper cut her with his shield, completely unaware of what she was actually trying to do.

Halet sidestepped the raising fist and wrapped her arm around his neck, auling him face-first into her breasts, shoving his face ebtween them.
