PostSubject: Five Nights at Fantasy's (Private)   Mon Dec 15, 2014 1:27 am

A new foal's restaurant, Party Pony Pizzaria, has just recently opened, and it's a huge hit. The food's good, the place is clean and colorful, and the animatronics there are so lifelike, fun, and sometimes downright hilarious. Wild Card is a magician who baffles the foals with his magic tricks and the way his voice can change completely at a moment's notice. Blood Moon is a vampony, who plays the piano and has a soft red dress and fur, making her very huggable. Coral Step, the singing merpony. Oathbound makes sure the foals aren't up to no good. And Fine Fantasy is a storyteller, making foals gasp in fear or wonder at her tales, and sometimes she'll even sing.

However, even this lovely place has a few flaws. Thanks to some- er, problems, the owner of the pizza place now needs to hire a night guard, but there aren't many ponies who'd be willing to guard a children's restaurant past midnight. Luckily, there is one pony willing to.

---

"Alright, I've left a message on the phone in your office. It should tell you everything you need to know. If you have any questions still, don't hesitate to ask." said a grey, lanky pegasus. "Oh, and remember your contract. Five nights. That's all. You can do more if you like."

BEEP

"Hey, uh, how's everything going so far? I'm going to assume you just now started your shift, so that means everything's good so far. So listen, there's some important stuff you need to know. You know how this place is all happy and rainbows and butterflies, and occasionally pirates who fall flat on their face? Yeah, that's during the day. At night, it's a bit different. See, there's something a tad wrong with the animatronics. I don't know what happened, if it's a malfunction in the coding, or the wiring, or what, but something causes them to not recognize ponies as ponies. Only happens with grown ponies, apparently, or ponies that are around their size. Those ponies they see as endoskeletons outside of their suits. That's not allowed here, so they try to... amend, that. By... stuffing you in a suit. Doesn't sound too bad, except for the wires and sharp metal, especially in the heads. Cuts through you like a knife through butter.

"You can defend yourself from them, though. Two ways of doing that: one is the lights installed in the building at certain points. It dazzles and stuns the animatronics, and they'll usually go away for a little bit. If you run out of battery for the lights, there's a former animatronic's raven's head sitting on the righthoof side of your desk. Used to belong to Clover the Clever Raven, until she was... well, decimated.

"Another thing I should mention is that it's not a good idea, at all, to actually try to fight these things. They don't look all that sturdy, but that's because of their fluffy exterior, which really just acts as cushiony protection for their hard, sturdy, metal endoskeletons. So, unless you're like, an Alicorn or something, I wouldn't recommend trying to throw down with one of them- or any of them, really.

"You got all that? Flashlights, head, and don't try to fight. Or run. That's just as bad, if not worse, than fighting. And try to conserve your batteries. The whole place won't go dark if you do, but you won't be able to see who's in the hallway or vents...

"Sorry you got this shitty job. It's only for five nights. I'm sure you'll be able to survive five nights."

The message ended, leaving silence in its wake. Star Sentinel, the thestral night guard, sat behind a desk, a raven "head" on his right side and the laptop, hooked up to the cameras, to his left. And ahead, a wide, dark hallway. Further to his right and left, beyond the desk, were open vents, also ominously dark. As the seconds tick by, it becomes clearer and clearer how unnervingly alone he is in this pizzaria, trapped with apparently murderous animatronics who could appear to attack him at any moment. It'd be wise to check the cameras as soon as possible.

Star Sentinel gulped as he listened to the message. "Killer animatronics...? Haha...I really hope he's kidding...." He muttered to himself as he looked to his right then left, making sure he had the mask and laptop. He glanced down the hallway for a few moments, soon realizing just how creepy this whole place was at night. "Why did I ever accept this job..." He whimpered slightly to himself as he picked up the laptop and checked through every camera, staring with the party room ones and ending with the stage camera.

Something stirred in party room three. It was Blood Moon, the vampony. She herself was considered a popular animatronic simply because of her child-friendly design that kept safety and beauty in mind. Her red dress sparkled in the camera as she began to play the piano, paying no heed to anything going on around her. The rest of the Pizzaria seemed quiet in comparison. Then, she stopped, removing her sunglasses that she normally wore during the day, and standing up from the piano. The moment she did so, her red dress and white fur faded into the darkness. leaving only a silhouette in its place.

A silhouette then appeared in party room two.

The animatronic pegasus, with his blue "coat" and elaborate suit, along with the trademark top hat for this particular animatronic, was simply standing on the stage, completely motionless for the time being. He had had a long day of entertaining foals with tricks that only a unicorn should do, and so the Magician chose to just look out to where his audience sat every day. That was, until he noticed the small button flicker and light up on the camera to indicate that it was being used.

The Magician snapped his head towards the camera, staring intently at it with no expression whatsoever... then the lights in the room flickered, and as soon as they had stopped, he was holding up an Ace of Hearts to the camera, his head still in the same position as before, lifeless eyes glaring into the monitor.

In Kid's Cove, an animatronic stood in the corner of the room. A grey coat with a red and gold-yellow mane, which was his costume, covered the endoskeleton. His eyes were gray during the day, but at night... Something happens to him. Now his eyes are red, as if the endoskeleton's eyes had grown to a massive size or made large via some inbuilt magnifier glass mechanism.

With the small button flickering and the camera light being used, the eyes opened, but only far after the camera had been turned off again. After a moment of looking at the camera expectantly, this animatronic moved to the other side of the room.

In the dark Party Room 4, a small-ish mare animatronic, "coat" the color of parchment and ponytailed mane a rich chocolate brown with a royal blue streak in it, stood statuesque still near the back. Aside from her wide-open, almond-shaped eyes, and two small, red dots of light shining from the center of the large pupils, it'd be easy to assume this animatronic was completely shut down for the night.

Except for when a small red light lit up on the camera right above the door, indicating somepony was using it, for a very brief moment before going dark again. This, however, was enough for Fantasy's eyes to flick up at the camera. They remained on the camera, wide-open and, although expressionless, one could tell they were intensely focused on the camera.

In the game area, green glows light up Coral Step's eyes. As the camera lights up, she turns to it slowly. Her mouth creaks open for one of the pre-recorded songs to play. Except instead of one of the songs, a creepy tune starts. 'Keep left to till the next, go around at the sign. Sing about all the things you won't mind~!'. After that she remains inert, staring at the camera. Her eyes, despite being emotionless animatronic, seem to have an almost baleful glare in them.

Star's ears swiveled a little when he heard something playing faintly. He shook his head and looked at  party room three where he saw one of the animatronics playing the piano. "Damn animatronic." He muttered, about to change the camera when he say it get up. He gulped and quickly looked at the camera in the last party room. The animatronic in that room seemed to be off, so he took one glance around it and quickly switched the camera to look at the main hall. As he switched the camera, he swore he saw the animatronic look at him...or the camera to be more exact.

He paused, staring at the camera that was in the hallway. This job... He shook his head to clear his thoughts and whimpered slightly to himself. "Just five days...What can they do to ya...?" He said, trying to reassure himself before continuing his look through the cameras, a new sense of fear in the back of his mind.

He examined around Kid's Cove for a moment, noting Oathbound was there and seemed to be off at the moment. Good... He paused for a moment and stared at the game area's camera for a moment. He pushed himself against his chair, gulping as he listened to the animatron open it's mouth. That has to mean something... He then quickly switched the cameras and stopped at the stage, seeing the animatronic magician there. He was about to look away from the laptop when the light flickered there, catching his attention. He stared at the screen for a moment before nearly jumping out of his chair when he saw the magician holding up a card to the camera. H-hearts...? Does that mean anything? It that good? Bad? He quickly put the laptop to the side, taking a few deep breaths to calm himself. "All animatronics are accounted for..." He felt a shiver run down his spine as he glanced down the hallway. "What kind of hell have I gotten myself into..."

The Magician, seeing that the camera focused on him had turned off, slowly lowered the arm holding up the card, letting it rest at his side while turning his head back to face the invisible audience of children. The animatronic kept an expressionless look on it's face, but the way it was created and how the face was angled gave the Magician a small smile, something which on any living creature would look like a kind gesture, but on this thing gave it an almost uncanny creepiness.

If Star ever looked back at the currently docile animatronic, he would see that the original card held by the red band around its top hat would have been replaced with the very same Ace of Hearts card, perched there neatly and in full view of the camera. But for now the Magician gazed forwards, not bothering about the new night guard... for now.
