Harun looked up from his water as the two from earlier had returned, with a plus one. He'd missed the thing that the slavers had seen before, but he assumed their extra company was that thing. It, she, certainly was an interesting pony. A curious pony with lots of metal and far less inhibitions would probably trade a fair sum of that metal in exchange for her. More than he would be worth to the same pony anyway. The golden pony had been quick to move away. He hadn't been of any help, but he could not scorn the effort, since the aspiration to virtue was the most important part. Very few words regarding his fate were said before a new uproar struck the building, as he had predicted. He frowned and backed away slightly as he saw Blaster’s demise. It was surprising and shocking, but in the same way felt a tad inevitable with the ability of hindsight. There was a lot of red in the room, that certainly could be said. He wondered who the job of cleaning up would go to. Would that mare have yet another reason to call today a bad day?

He thought about getting on one of the tables just as the closest to him was overturned by the dog. Being behind that made him feel a lot more at ease It was probably a relatively unsound idea anyway. They were insects, they always climbed to any place that they wanted to get to physics be damned. If it came to it he could probably brute force his way through one of the husks, but he wasn’t at his best. There were guns in the room ready to deal with everything as well. He was of little use in this fight. He just hoped there were going to no more deaths now the surprise was gone. The stallion's only meaningful movements were as he shuffled himself and his bowl weakly in the other direction a few feet. When things settled down, he wouldn’t want it to look as though he’d escaped. Bound as he was, he would be able to outrun anything, and passing ponies would surely notice anyway.

Lunatic looks up at the loud thumping, peering around the shield as her eyes zeroing in on the stallion. It was quite clear something was odd, those weren't the movements of a drunk or of anger. More like convulsions...
Her eyes widen as soon as that thought occurs. she begins edging her seat quietly away from the table, picking up her bow and shifting her arrows into a better position, all hidden behind the massive shield.

When they burst, she quickly rises up on her hind legs and draws an arrow, moving over to take cover behind the shield. Regardless of whether or not the husks could fire at range, it would provide decent cover from the wild firing that was about to start.

Upon entering the bar, Kings had chosen to linger near the back.  There were a whole lot of interactions happening, and getting involved would just make it difficult to keep track of all of them.  There was dog-slaver, thing-slaver, slaver-slaver and that stallion did not look healthy.  Maybe he had a brain- nope, husk.  Of course it was a husk.

Kings was terrible at physical confrontations, snd they knew it.  So they stayed near the back, remaining small and quiet in the confusion, hoping to remain unnoticed.

The Tavern erupted into chaos as everypony else immediately began to panic. One stallion at the opposite end of the bar kicked over his stool to try and start making his way to the front door. The stallion, in his blind panic, rammed straight into Golden Touch who was slammed against the bar and was knocked unconscious. Just as the Pegasus mare at the bar also began to run for the door but was too busy looking at the two horrors at the eastern wall was surprised by a bolt shot by Diamond with a husk attached to it whiz by her head causing her to trip and barrel straight into the newly infected earth stallion. One of the husks finished forming from the red nutrient gunk that had been sprayed on him and jumped straight onto the mare skittering quickly around her face and forced itself into her mouth and down her throat. The mare got up choaking and coughing up blood as she stumbled dazedly towards the first pony she could see. She cried for help between choking coughs as she stumbled her way over to Verde lifting a pleading hoof.

The slaver boss managed to get a shot off at blaster but only caught him through the neck which didn’t do much as at this point it was clear that Blaster was no longer among the living. Blaster now collapsed and began to violently shake as the husks quickly began to reconfigure his body in a way in which they could force him to move around for them. The originally infected husk den with the hole in his stomach was now standing back up as 2 more husks fell out of the hole and began skittering up onto the bar. The bartender was currently busy jamming metal into the barrel of the blunderbuss, he noticed the supply bag being tossed to him but he didn’t stop to say anything.

The Stallion on the ground continued to wail but his voice had gone hoarse and had become pitiful moans as 5 more husks had grown out of the Husk bile that was sprayed on him. The first two husks to form went straight for the stallions mouth and shoved themselves inside cutting off the moaning sounds turning them into gasping coughs that sprayed blood on the floor. Three of the husks went to look for new hosts, 2 of which went immediately for krix being the largest and meatiest a third went for the boss of the now only 2 slavers. Gun Smoke however had seen Heartstring blatantly maneuvering around behind them and had instead started pointing his two revolvers at his head. “Oi! And just what the fuck do yah think yer doin, yah stupid fuck!” This had also gotten the boss’s attention and he was not amused by it.

“Smoke this isn’t the time for yer shit, mate! Get tah shootin these fuckin things, yeah!” The boss had forgotten to start reloading for his next shot.

“No boss! Dis one ere wants to take us out while we ain’t lookin, yeah. Thinks he can sneak by me in the chaos, yeah! Well he ain’t gonna get by me, no way!” Smoke shot twice but with both guns pointed at the very side of Heartstrings head the bullets bent around his magnetic field one hitting the dart board and the other bullet splattered the brains of another pony attempting escape as he ran by.The patron who had knocked over Golden had stumbled across the floor just long enough to when he attempted to run around the group defending the bar had gotten in the way of the stray bullet that passed through heartstings magnetic field. The waitress at the time had stopped screaming and began to attend to the now unconscious Golden Touch as tears streamed from her eyes with death and chaos surrounding her on both sides. It was clear that Goldens wound was not at all serious but he was still bleeding a little from the side of his head and would be waking with one hell of a headache. The patrons closest to the door had immediately fled out of the building to run and retrieve the guards. A crowd had already started to build outside no one knowing what was inside and only hearing shouting and screaming and gunfire. It was clear now that it would hardly be a matter of hours if these things got out for them to spread across the entire Way Station.

Well it only seemed that thing's were just getting worse here. Honestly if it would get any worse than this than he would probably just break a window and jump out of it and run for the mountains. As much as he would enjoy studying these husk's he'd rather not become a den for them. Though when Heartstring ran behind the slavers, Gun Smoke had actually turned his gun's towards him. During a time like this, that foolish slaver turned his back onto the husk's that were coming in their direction. Heartstring had turned around to look just as Gun Smoke fired, he didn't flinch however and just stood there, his attention turning on Gun Smoke.

He felt the bullets swerving around his magnetic field and then heard three sounds, the whizzing of the bullets, the dartboard being hit, and then the sound of a body hitting the floor somewhere near him. Death and carnage, not something he was new too, he'd been around the wastes more than a few times to witness and see death and carnage in different forms be it from natural situations or unnatural ones such as a bullet to the head. His right eye twitched, though it stayed wide as Heartstring fell unnaturally silent and his attention was on Gun smoke.

Of course this decision he came too happened less than half a second for him to decide on. It's Gun Smoke's fault for turning his gun on him, a shield becomes pointless if it's attacking you. "Trash." The long Machete he took from the earth stallion slaver was still high in the air, but within range of Heartstring's magic to control with ease as he would bring the long machete in an arc that would come in as fast as he could control it so that it's arc would end with the long machete jamming itself up underneath Gun Smoke's jaw shooting upwards, IF it connected Heartstring would pull the long machete to drag Gun Smoke away, to the south west, from the husks, Of course he himself would also move further away, whether the long machete connected or not. Heartstring would quickly sprint in the direction North west getting closer to the Dartboard itself while still keeping a look out for any husks that would be near.

Verde clears the revolver from its holster at precisely the instant that the mare stumbles into the dead-but-for-formalities earth stallion. The moment is almost slow motion for her: the barrel of the revolver coming around to the earth stallion, the husk rising out of the nutrient goop just as the mare gets too close to it for her to trust to the precision of the roughly-machined weapon, wrapping her magic around the hammer so as to be able to "fan" it if needed... and then it's too late to do anything for a second dead-but-for formalities pony. The two husks cram themselves into the stallion's throat, cutting off his whimpering sounds of pain and fear, just as Verde settles the blade of the front sight between the groove of the rear, holds the shot for the moment between a stable shot hitting its mark and a trembling shot missing, and pulls the trigger to hopefully save him from what's about to happen.

She shifts the revolver's aim to the coughing, pleading mare and takes another moment to look straight into her eyes and let the mare's last living sight be vivid emerald eyes gentle with regret and hard with resolution. Then she says, "I'm sorry" in a voice momentarily free of the lazy speech and drawl she'd used to speak to Diamond and gives the second victim the mercy of instant death instead of dragged on terror and unspeakable pain. She holds the revolver on the corpse as she starts backpedaling away from the epicenter of the developing horror.

"Whatcha waitin', oddity?" She snarls in a clenched-jaw vibrato of sudden rage as she tries to put distance between herself and the just-now-dead mare. "BURN these fucking nightmares. BURN THEM!"

Diamond smiled as she stuffed the rag into the top of the bottle, causing it to soak up some of the ethanol. Diamond drew her lighter and gave the flint wheel a good spin, causing the rag to catch fire. She saw the scene unfold,  Verde unloading a bullet into the now-infested mare that no one seemed to notice or care about until she got infested. Wonderful. The chaos, the pain, the suffering. She could taste it all. And the flavor, she hated it. "E-eat FUCKING HELLFIRE. BURN BURN BURN BURN BURN!." To those around her, Diamond had become a beacon of hatred and rage. She took the molotov and threw it right at the twitchy husk den. She leaped back, away from the bar the moment after she threw the molotov, following Verde. She placed another bolt in her crossbow, though she was a bit too shaky to fire it. "W-why? Why now?"

Krix didn't bat his eye to any of the gore and horror that was on plain display in front of him, the wastes had already exposed him to similar and possibly worse. As such, he had no trouble seeing the two approaching husk bugs as they skittered closer to him. With something of a growl, Krix brought the table he was currently holding about, and slammed the flat top of it down on the small creatures with an audible crunching squish. He didn't stop though, taking an extra second to briefly stomp on the surface just to make sure the bugs underneath were completely crushed.

With those dealt with, Krix's eyes went towards the two hosts. To kill something like this, one needed to strike at the source, and that was exactly what Krix was going to see towards doing. Letting go of the table leg, Krix gripped the table's edge tightly with one hand. Then stepping around the table slightly so he didn't have to cock his arm back as far, Krix threw the piece of furniture at the closer of the two husk hosts, almost like a frisbee. As it traveled, Krix found himself fighting an all to familiar, but still not quite understood, urge to chase after the thrown table, but just like every time before Krix didn't act upon the sudden notion. Almost as soon as the table left his grip, Krix would grab up the nearest chair in his now free hand and once more shift the massive bulwark of a shield he had defensively in front of him and veil if he could without getting in the direct path of her shots.

Veil backs away, avoiding interfering with Krix. She notices the patrons running outside, screaming. 'That, plus the gunfire, means guards and people. A crowd outside of the building.... Shit.' She keeps moving till she's at the door. Veil yells out "Husks! Clear the area!" Granted, this could cause problems. but despite the Wastes, Veil was still a medic. And that means helping ponies. Hopefully the warning would do more good then ill.

Harun kept his cool terribly, but comparative to all the fleeing and shouting, he felt he handled himself with distinction. He felt lucky to be so low as Smoke turned around and fired. It was a move he hated to watch. They were all on the same side of this, so he had thought at least. The retribution was proportionate, if morally on unsteady ground. He could not hear properly what the pony was say, but he picked up a level of scorn in the tone. As the blade passed by him he moved to the spot the unicorn had inhabited, his eye set on one of the revolvers they had used. If he could make it uninterrupted, then he would take stock of the shots left, as well as the situation in general. One fast and close was the first thing to come to his attention. He fired at it one lone time, experiencing tunnel vision on that one target. A move he would likely live to berate himself over if he survived  “There is little left for you apart some empty vengeance," he said to the slaver boss. "We should go. I am sure we both have bigger aspirations than die to some monsters." Harun was not fond of the idea but if this particular pony fell victim to the husks then an entire group would have been wiped out. Some could argue they were slaving scum and things were better off without them, but Harun did not like to judge that. He had no right to kill him and every duty to try and help.

The tavern had turned into a house of madness and fear as more ponies died. Kings continued to cower in the far corner still inactive. While on the other side of the room the waitress tore her dress to wrap the fabric around the small bleeding wound on Goldens head. Verdes first shot penetrated the skull of the soon to be dead earth stallion on the floor and spared him the couple of seconds his pained life had left. The second shot had immediately dropped the poor strangling mare, it was clear the the husk inside her was hard at work repurposing the corpse for itself as she lay there but a single husk would be a while before it could reproduce into dangerous numbers.

It was then that Diamond had thrown the Molotov of distilled ethanol at the Soon to become a den stallion previously known as blaster. The Bottle hit its mark and burned the flesh wonderfully and spread around the body in a crude circle. The Husks could be heard shrieking inside the corpse as they began tearing the body open to create escape routes. Most of the Husks caught flame aflame and began to burn to death as they ether tried to use their gunk to douse the flame. Even though most burned to death 10 still made it out of the body alive. Two of these Husks returned to the original den, 1 went for the recently deceased mare, 2 more went to combine with the now dead slaver earthstallion, and the other 5 grouped up and went for the largest visible immediate target, which was Krix, in their standard swarm tactic of spreading out from each one of each other about 4-6 inches apart in a crude circle.

The Table that krix threw, though hindered by the table stand flew surprisingly true and slammed into the original husk den knocking it straight back into the corner, snapping the neck and giving a loud crunching sound as several husks were crushed inside. The act however still caused three more husks to fall out of the corpse, which then quickly made their way onto the counter top. The two husks that made their way up onto the bar top previously skittered across it at their fastest speed. The bartender yelled “OH, FUCK ME!” And was able to get a shot off of the reloaded blunderbuss which turned one of the husks into a mesh of chitinous pieces of body and limbs, however the other one was only scratched and leaped off the counter at the bartender and onto his head as he screamed, which the husk took advantage of and crawled into his mouth. The bartender wide eyed in fear and beginning to choke began to jam the butt of his gun into his throat trying to crush the husk as it crawled down, there was a loud crunch as the husk died, but the bartender had collapsed his own throat in the process and fell over dead.

Meanwhile, After Smoke had fired off the two shots and stood in stunned confusion as the two point blank shots flew right by Heartstrings head, one of the shots colliding into the skull of an escaping bar patron. “Oi! What the fu-“ Schlunk! Before he could finish the sentence, the long machete in Heartstrings magical grasp bisected the skull of the slaver. Smoke dropped his guns as he fell limp and was dragged away from the husks. The boss yelled in fury and tried to fire the rifle at Heartstring but the gun only made a loud hiss as the pressurized gas escaped the barrel. The gunshot right behind him made him jump, as he turned and saw that the slave had just saved his life from a husk that was just about to get the jump on him. He heard harun speak to him and surprisingly the boss of the slavers actually began to break with tears welling up in his eyes. The boss of the slavers then fell to the floor and began to sob. “They were me mates, boy. What do ah ‘ave left now? You? Ah don’t want the fuckin metal no more. Ah just want this to be over. Ah want me mates back. We were a fucked bunch ya ‘ere but they didn’t deserve dis, nopony deserves dis.” The boss dropped the rifle and just walked back against the west wall and collapsed once more in a depressed slump as he sobbed to himself over his lost friends.

The crowd responded to Veil’s distressed remarks with mixed results. Some immediately bolted from the scene knowing what she was talking about. Others looked at her with confusion and interest seeing her exotic body design and wondering how much she might be worth. Others still looked at the discordian with sheer terror in their eyes but were unable to move an inch. Husk’s were a creature that were mainly only discussed in the form of rumor or legend. Few have ever encountered any. A monster attack inside a Way Station seemed to be a delusional fantasy to most as monster never tried to attack Way Stations or if they did were immediately gunned down by the local guard. This was one of the few safe havens left in this world, accepting attack from inside would be to accept that even this hell hole they have come to accept as life in exchange for the protection of its walls, was a lie. A fancy that they had only been telling themselves to make them believe survival was possible.

"Right oddity," Verde says to Diamond approvingly. "An' now you an' I follow all the other potential dens out a door and go get as much flammables as there is, an' burn th' abominations." She cocks the hammer again after the shot that put the mare out of her misery-to-immediately-follow, and uses her body to physically force Diamond backwards in the general direction of the door but much more importantly, away from the husks. "If ya would, darl, drag that sobbin' shit out... ain't like we've been cheatin' ol' Mort today." She glances in the direction of the dead barkeep. "Two corpses I had ta kill, didn't want ta kill, but killin' was good... hate it. Can't even strip 'em fer bits. Hate it more. Ain't done a thing to me, ain't cost me nothin', ain't got a thing I want... bucking waste. Gotta look 'er in the eye doin' it. Bucked th' mates cuz they liked it, partial. Hate it most... bucking husks... gotta get me a flamer, burn the buckin' abominations real slow next time... bucking promise."

Veil, realizing that revealing her unique nature to a crowd of greedy slave traders probably wasn't a good idea, ducks back into the bar. She scampers back to Krix. After all, having a large shield was a nice safety blanket, and she could dodge quick enough to avoid getting in its way. 'I don't fancy getting grabbed by the horned one either.'

She looks around for more Husks, as she edges closer to Krix. Hearing Verde, she looks up sharply and asks "Please tell me that more didn't escape."

Krix let out another growl as even more husks entered the scene, and that his bag of stuff wasn't going to see use and was now well out of his reach. With small group of Husks approaching, Krix's grip on the chair shifted since there were more than he'd planned on and soon the chair left his grip altogether as he threw the thing at the farthest Husk.

With that one hopefully taken care of, Krix looked about for the next thing he could use against such an enemy and his eyes fell on one of the other table that had been close to him, the table the slavers had been sitting at. With a gentle push of his shield, Krix scooted Veil back until the tip of his shield was under the edge of the table, and quickly flipped it up. With the table legs not pointing out towards him, Krix seized the limb and brought about the other table, trying to slam it down on the husks if they were close enough or throwing it if they were still at some range.

Then Krix would start to back up with all but pushing Veil backwards with him, while not fast enough to outpace the Husks, enough to delay their close encounter until Krix could hopefully take out a couple more with a chair or another table. Either way, the grip on his shield tightened as he got ready to use it as well. Given the fact that it was a shield, even though it was larger than one of the tables, the straps that held it to his arm limited the range of the instrument, it was the last line of defense aside from his other bare paw which also either tightened it's grip on the table, or tightened into a fist, ready to strike the first Husk that either got too close or decided to jump at him. Krix also clenched his jaw shut, if he'd had time he'd have bothered to tie it shut, but with events moving at their pace, it was something he'd have to forgo.

His blade had made it's mark with a nice Schlunk! noise, though the gaze in his eyes didn't change or hesitate. He pulled the body away as far as he could, and looked at the boss when he had whipped the gun around to try and shoot him. Was this going to be another senseless death? Maybe. But luck befell the slaver and the gun wasn't reloaded properly. With a quick movement of his magic, the long machete was pulled out of the dead stallion and brought back to him as he put the machete into one of his saddles bags.

The slaver had a break down when Harun saved his life from the husk and he dropped his weapon and went on to be a slump against the wall. There was still more husk's that needed to be taken care off. Thankfully however there were now more weapon's available that should make thing's a bit easier for him to fight against the husks.

Heartstring would quickly move a bit closer so that the rifle and the second revolver was in his range and he picked them both up with his magic. He was well aware of the fact that the rifle wasn't loaded and he slide it into the space between the saddle and his body, so that the weight of the saddle bag pressing down against the rifle would keep it in place, like a makeshift sheath. He was still about three feet behind Harun off to his southwest side, meaning if where Harun facing is his north, Heartstring is standing to his southwest side.

He was able to assess the situation and had noted a few things, the bartender, a mare, the two slavers, and the original husk den and fantastic someone set one of them on fire, which caused more husks to escape from the den it was in. Heartstring shook his head and kept the revolver within his vision so he could act quickly if necessary. Krix had assaulted the 5 husk's that were heading to him with a table. Fantastic, now what was left to do was to take out the husks that were trying to form more dens. "Well this has become problematic." he stated with agitation to himself at how the scene had fairly quickly developed and fell apart, probably one of the few moments where he didn't show any sign's of his 'insanity'.

Harun did not expect any gratitude,  but he didn't expect the stallion to burst into tears either. He’d have to talk to him later if he was in any better of a state. It was easy for him to feel bad for him, even if the inverse was not so. He was lucky in the sense he didn’t have any friends to lose There seemed to be no immediate threat to him, even if the unicorn behind him didn't make him feel comfortable at all. If that pony wanted him dead he likely already would be, and he’d also expressed interest in purchasing him earlier, not like he took any amount of comfort from those two pieces of knowledge. The unicorn had also stolen the weapon the boss had set down. His weapon. There was time for that later though, once this had been dealt with. Harun had three shots in a weapon he was not too familiar with. He'd wait for a moment to see what targets everyone else was going to pick, but he’d keep his focus on trying to contain the outbreak by attacking the husks that were scuttling to form new dens inside the dead ponies. Three husks, three shots, just enough if he got lucky.

Diamond brought herself back to focus, slinging her crossbow back under her cloak. "Right, right. Flammable things first." She put her goggles on, moving in the direction Verde was pushing her, making a wide circle around the husks on the way to the door. She whispered a phrase that she heard often "They're dead. We the living shall live for them and shall use their final earthly possessions to keep on living." She picked up speed, moving at a fairly fast limp.

The chair smacked the original husk den again, just as it was getting back up from getting hit by the table, though it was getting up much slower of course due to the lack of husks to operate the corpse. It of course toppled the den right back to the floor with one of the chair legs impaling through the chest of the den again killing a few more husks. The 5 husks were of at this point within striking distance, however, due to how spread out the husks were, krix was only able to smash 3 completely and crushing two legs of a fourth. The fifth husk was frightened away from krix and instead made a B line straight for Veil instead. One of the 3 husks on the bar counter had jumped onto the dead bartender in order to feed while the 2 others quickly made their way to chase after Diamond and Verde leaping off the counter after them.

It was then that a large amount of clanking and stomping of hooves could be heard from outside. It seemed as though that more of half the Way Stations guards had shown up and began to surround the building. Some of them were carrying rare repeating rifles most were either carrying revolvers or regular steam rifles. Each of them were wearing roughly similar dull bluish grey uniform with iron metal plates all attached to it as armor. The guards began to poor into the tavern all with weapons drawn taking stock of who was where and doing what. “EVERYONE STILL ALIVE, GET THE FUCK DOWN!” A guard in a black uniform who entered the room first yelled out to all the survivors. Every guard in the room unleashed a hail of gunfire at every available target that wasn’t dead or a husk. Tearing all the corpses in the room to ribbons and even blasting away the two husks chasing Verde and Diamond and knocking off one of the legs of the husk that was after Veil. The husk, while being spun around, quickly recovered and continued on its course after the tall Draconaquus but then exploded right at veils feet as it was pegged by a Pegasus shooter from the window.

Two more ponies then entered the room carrying a large contraption on their back that seemed to carry some sort of liquid. It looked like a large metal square pack with a few gears and a pump on the sides of it with a hose running from the front bottom of the device to their right forehoof with what looked to be some sort of nozzle at the end. On the back of the device their seemed to be a strange but well done etched in sketch of a unicorn with a wild spiked up mane and lines indicating blotches of a different color or tone of fur winking at you, only the head of the unicorn was drawn though as if it was some sort of insignia. The drawing of this pony seemed strangely familiar to anyone who had noticed it for some odd reason. Two guards quickly got behind the ponies wearing these devices and mounted them in order to start pumping the packs. The pack wearing ponies than began moving around to each of the corpses of both ponies and dead husks spraying some sort of liquid on them. Though they seemed to make a conscious effort not to get anywhere near the burning corpse and instead a few of the guards with revolvers started taking shots at it to make sure everything in the corpse was dead.

The Earth stallion that verde shot had just started to have his flesh bubble and expand as both sprayers went over to the corpse and began dousing it with large amounts of this liquid. The liquid as it touched the organic material quickly began to bubble and fizz creating almost like a coat of whatever this stuff was. The husks inside could then be heard screeching in horrific pain as the liquid soaked in but apparently whatever this stuff was, was also sealing them inside. As they spraid the corpse of the bartender, one of them grabbed the blunderbuss and tossed it to the guard in the black uniform. Who caught in his mouth then put it on his back. “Everypony… or otherwise, that’s still alive follow me outside, and someone grab the unconscious bloke please.” The sound of flint and steel striking to gether could be heard from the back of the tavern as all the guards began filing out. The chemical that had been sprayed all around quickly caught fire and sent everything that was sprayed into an intense searing blaze.

The combat scenario is now over and semi-free posting is once again authorized, though I recommend not too much posting as the guard captain has some shit to say but not too much. Anyways, for some of you I know that was pretty intense of a first combat, while other combat scenarios from here on will be tougher, they wont normally be that intense of a situation regarding the lives of so many other ponies. Though I will not say situations like this wont happen again, it will be some time till another one like this happens. Anyways this was a lot more about me learning who your characters really are and really getting to know them each personally and I think I did that well enough and gleamed uite a bit from each character.

We also have more people joining this RP and if Golden does not come back soon, though I would much rather him join us again, his character can be left behind cuz he will remain unconscious until he returns. Pseudologia Fantastica, bud, gonna ask you to start posting a little more frequently dude. I don’t want to have to pm you everytime your character gets addressed. Choose whether or not you want to stay in this rp now and if you do you need to pay a little more attention or else next time we’re in a big fight, if you dont respond for far too long I may kill your character ok. Fair warning.

Harun complied with the request of the small army that had shown up. He honestly didn't need to be told to drop down. They certainly put out a good volume of gunfire. All the weapons going off at the same time made just as much noise as the height of the fighting, causing his ears to pin back slightly. Harun released a breath had no idea he was holding, coughing a little in the process, which he probably wouldn’t have if his ribs were not sore for a reason that was no mystery. Things had been a mess, and some ponies that didn't need to die or get hurt did, but it could have been worse. He did plan to comply with the order, but it was going to take him a moment or two, as he wished to talk to a pony first. He moved to the slaver boss, lowering himself to his slumped down level and trying to get a look at his face. "Hey," he said softly. "This isn't what you wanted, I know, and in hindsight you might have regrets. I think the heart can forgive and atone however." He pulled the chain that was still binding him forward. "Sell me, and then use the Metal to  carve out a new life for yourself, or you can unbind me and join me, and we can do what we can to make sure other ponies don't have to lose their mates to stupid shit like this." Now he was not in combat, a fresher amount of calm was in his voice. Harun still couldn't imagine what the slaver boss was feeling, but he hoped, really wanted, despite the way he'd been treated, to be able to push on from this and to use it to make him a better pony. He turned his body around but kept his head facing the slaver, waiting on the reaction he'd get

Well now, there isn't a need to waste bullets given that the local authorities, no matter how rude and crude they were, bursted into the tavern and ordered all who were still alive to drop to the ground. Which Heartstring quickly obliged to as he wasn't a fan of getting shot at, as it was proven earlier, he didn't react too well to it, well from his own point of view he considered that little situation handled perfectly, but that is besides the point. Heartstring brought the revolver he had in his magical grip and put it inside his saddlebag at the same time he had ducked down to the ground as low as he possibly could before the hail of gunfire sounded off. He covered his ears for the moment to reduce the sound of gunfire as much as he could.

Though he did watch all he could from the ground and see the guard's firing away. Hitting all their intended targets into even smaller pieces than they were before. Eventually two more ponies entered with an odd contraption with a peculiar insignia on it. His mind momentarily trying to recall where it came from, but he was quickly distracted by the liquid that was oozing out of it and it's reaction to the husk dens. He arched a brow with interested about what sort of substance that chemical was.

Finally standing was safe so, he did so and took heed of the words of them to all come outside. Well this wasn't the most desired of situations. He honestly wanted to just up and leave at this point and only sighed. "Well at least the husk's are taken care of. Isn't that right?" he looked to his side a moment and then just nodded his head. "Right, right." He then turned his head to look at Harun a moment who went to speak with the slaver boss.

Heartstring could only sigh at what Harun had stated and he then turned his vision to the unconscious pony, someone needed to get him out. Well he was unconscious, so this probably wouldn't hurt so much. Heartstring would grab that pony with his magic, and drag him out, though before he fully left the tavern dragging the pony, he stopped near Harun and spoke to him. "You're a strange one, but chit chat need's to be saved for later." he stated as he looked to the Slaver boss and gazed at him with a glare. "You need to get up on your own hooves now. This world will not favor the weak hearted." Then immediately after that, Heartstring would give the most sweetest of smiles. "Love and survive." Right after that, he didn't wait for them and just left the tavern, while dragging the unconscious pony behind him.

Krix was just about to bring the large stone shield about to crush the Husk moving towards Veil when the massive collection of armored hooves came thundering into the tavern. His head turned and glanced towards the large collection of ponies and noticed the array of firepower that was pointing in his direction. The Guard didn't even finish saying 'EVERYONE' before Krix brought the large stone bulwark around and planted it between where he was and the contingent of guards with a step that practically had the dog standing over Veil so she was shielded as well. Kneeling down some and tilting the shield back do it'd create an angle for the bullets to ricochet harmlessly upwards, create slightly less blocked area, and hopefully do a little less damage to the shield, Krix said nothing as the barrage of gunfire commenced.

When the hail of gunfire ended, Krix slowly stood up, and glanced at his shield which had likely taken at least a bullet or two, but seeing as at least the bulk of the weapon was still intact, he simply shrugged it off as occupational damages. As the clean up crew entered Krix began moving towards the exit, and when they started spraying chemicals, the old dog scrunched up his nose and folded his ears while picking up the pace in his departure. Chemicals and death didn't smell well together, and combined with the horrid sounds of the Husk's dying screeches ringing in his ears, Krix was quickly moving towards that exit.

Krix just barely caught the one guards passing comment before he stepped outside, and while Krix was willing to comply with the command, it would be at a spot at least a few paces away from the stinking and shrieking going on inside the Bar. So when he did pass through the doors, Krix didn't immediately stop walking and instead made it to about the middle of the street before finally stopping to breath in at least slightly fresher air and hesitantly unfold his ears. There he turned back to watch the scene play out and await this supposed captain who wanted to speak as well as any others that may have wanted to speak to the dog. Krix also kept an ear out for any large approaching wagons that might have trouble navigating around the large creature so he could move ahead of time. This whole scene was likely going to be enough trouble, and he didn't need to be the cause of anymore.

Veil eeps! when the armored ponies thunder in, coiling tightly around herself as the shield comes down. She looks up at Krix as the bullets ricochet off the shield. "T-Thank you." She says. When the gunfire ceases, she remains in cover until Krix retrieves his shield and begins leaving.
'So..... Now what do I do? There's plenty of ponies here who would enslave me, so that's out. The Dog seems decent enough, and I don't have any better ideas.'
She pads after him. "May I travel with you?" She asks, just to be sure. It was always possible there might be some unforeseen reasoning against it, after all. Veil winces at the chemicals, giving Krix a sympathetic look. Her nose may not compare with his, but the smell certainly wasn't pleasant. She follows him out, staying by his side. Running right now would have... consequences.

Verde leveled the revolver at the two oncoming husks, aligning blade with vee. "C'mon ya buckers... c'mon an' eat some snake load ya fucks..." she growls as she gets in between Diamond and the two. "Oddity, if'n one of 'em gets in, ya don't hesitate for a second, ya hear? Just shoot me first, kay?" The sound of mass stomping as the guards flooded in makes her swivel an ear and just as the call came to 'get down', Verde turns away from the husks and shoves Diamond to the ground, pressing up against her to present as tiny of target as possible before the shooting starts. Safely down, however, she immediately turns and watches the guards at work, her eyes darting here and there, taking in their gear and the guns they're carrying. "Aw, buck... it's so beautiful..." she whispers in something approaching reverent awe as she watches well-armed ponies at work, although her eyes are almost certainly for their hardware and much less for the ponies wielding them. It's understandable, therefore, that when the ponies with the spraying contraptions enter and start work, Verde gets to her feet in an almost unconscious motion, her eyes wide and her mouth agape as she studies the mechanisms. "Well as I live and breathe..." she murmurs. "I could almost clop to it..."

Once they're outside, a considerably dazed-looking Verde turns to Diamond and reaches up to grasp her face in her hooves, pressing their noses together and looking into the other pony's eyes with a manic look that goes a few miles passed mere lust. "We. Must. Have. One."

Kings watched from his position near the door.  They were quiet.  They didn't say much.  But they were far from inactive.  Their pencil was in their mouth and its tip was flying across the notebook.  Small notes were bulleted.  Interactions were noted.  And the spray gun.  Oh, Kings liked the spray gun.  They closed their notebook with a snap.  Sidled up to one of the sprayer's carriers.  "Hi.  I was wondering if I could get a sample of that."  Head tilt.  Look curious.  "What's in it?  Where's it come from?  How's it work?"  Pause.  Big grin.  "I'm Doctor Kings, by the way.  You may have heard of me."  Please say you hadn't.

Kings's eyes kept flickering.  Keeping an eye on the strange group.  The dog, the thing, slave, magic-user, and now prosthetic, gunmare, so many!  It would be so much fun.  And it was a big group.  Who would miss a couple?

Diamond stopped as Verde turned around and leveled her revolver at the oncoming husks. Diamond drew her crossbow out from under her cloak. "Well, if we miss, we'll have all the time in the world to get to know each other." She leveled her crossbow at the husks, but then heard the stomping, then felt Verde essentially jump on top of her as she dropped her crossbow. She felt Verde's warm body against her own, and began to think not-so-wholesome thoughts about the mare on top of her. You know, if I wasn't in a dangerous situation, I think I'd fu- Her thoughts were interrupted by gunfire, then by Verde whispering. Diamond stood back up, checked her crossbow, and seeing it was fine. She quickly went over and retrieved her her bolts from the targets, cleaning them off and placing them back in their quiver. As she returned she listened more to Verde, and saw what she was talking about. "Oh my.......Well, I can certainly help you scratch that itch in a more private place. Too bad about that drink though."

Diamond followed Verde outside, when the unicorn suddenly grabbed her, pressing their noses together, causing Diamond's mouth to go agape as she was suddenly force fed lust energy. "Um...Those look like they take a regular cleaning and maintaining force of engineers. Not to mention alchemists. Umm.....I don't even know your name yet..." She pulled back a bit from Verde. "I'm Diamond Mind, and you are?" She pulled her prosthetic arm up, the hand open, as if waiting for Verde to place her hoof in it.
