Tune listened to the two mares, rubbing his chin in thought.
"Well, fer all we know the others might have some sort of plan. We probably could try going to this weapons cache but it might already be empty. And we have no idea if there's a town nearby. So my 'pinion is that we should go to the others. Maybe they've found a way to get into the armory?" He asked finally, shrugging.
"But anywaeh, wherevers we go, I'm with ya two." He finished, giving them a thumbs up.

When Wild gave the command, Jäger's grin shifted but didn't leave as he straightened up. Nodding first to both Dark and Auftrag as they went past him, Jäger then looked back to the offered sledge and holster for it. "Dank hyu Meeshda Card pone, hy vill put et too goot vork," Jäger replied happily as he inspected the weapon before strapping on the holster for it and stowing it there for the moment. "Hy hope to be bach shoon," he then said while turning around and exiting the security room.

Once outside, Jäger was a little surprised to see that Auftrag had already departed, but still he threw a nod to Dark. "Hope hyu rheady, ve goink now," Jäger said as he took to leading while the other pony had the option to follow through the corridors and hallways. Eventually finding the door to the armory, Jäger was met with another problem, the door being locked. After trying it a couple times, Jäger took a step back and thought for a moment before turning towards Dark. "Ve haff hay problem. De rhoom ish shealed. All dat gash ish behind et might have had time to build up preashure. Ish like de Nukah-colah bottle vhen hyu shake et. Ve hopen de door, and poishon flood de buildink."

"Hy might consider hopenink dis later, or vhen every whon ish out ov de building, but ish maybe besht ve leave dis halone vor now," Jäger continued already taking his first steps away from the armory and back towards the security room to inform them that the alarm was telling the truth.

"Well, for at least part of the last year, we were doing what the business calls 'rim running'," Viridian tells her after one last glance over the controls and a determination that lingering further would be fruitless. She takes up following the mare on her left side, just barely outside of arm's reach of the rucksack. "Pre-war, the caches of the most powerful weapons were located in highly defensible locations outside easy reach from the cities. The easy ones have been tapped out and their contents flooded the market; it's just now settling down after decades. To be successful in this business, as I and my daughter are, you need access to a mother lode that's severely isolated, comes with a very deep defensive scheme, and most importantly, includes an armory with a full suite of lathes, CNC machines, machining tools, dies, and other highly specialized tools for building and servicing the most rare and valuable military-grade weaponry."

"If this Trench asshat and his religious dumbfucks crawled out of the primordial ooze in the last year or so, it started when we were hitting our private reserve for a special order," Verde says, following behind her mother and similarly just barely out of reach of the rucksack. "Hell, it could have been a special order from some poor schmuck who saw Trench coming and was stocking up on tactical firepower."

"Or strategic," Viridian adds.

"Or strategic," Verde nods. "The more isolated the cache is, the better the loadout is and what we've been able to salvage of our lode's internal computer network indicates that deep in the base, beyond where we've attempted to go thus far, the prewar military stowed their 'panic button' arsenal. Yanno, the sort of arsenal that you put into play when you're totally bucked and have nothing left to lose. The sort of stuff, by the by, you'd use if some whackjob and his nutter buddies have been exterminating villages and might come knocking on your door. Hell, some of it could well have been fully conventional but the sort of weaponry that can't be countermeasured anymore. Who knows? Anyway, that's probably where we were when the Trench shit started."

"We were likely also preparing our own 'panic button' caches of equipment," Viridian said. "We have to go around, renew, replace, and repair the caches every year so they remain viable and this means that for a certain number of months a year, we go lean on our cap reserves. From what we can reason, it was on a trip from one cache to another that whoever stuck us here did a snatch-and-grab and then put us all under the influence of some sorta mind-altering gas that tampered with memory and perceptions. Depending on how long we've been here, a bare minimum of three months, that cache could still be viable although slightly out of our way if we're planning to make a direct run to any major settlement."

"Although we might need it," Verde grimaces. "Trench sounds like the hardest target we've ever heard of, but also the kind of target that bucks up business."

"So in addition to the mission from Cordial Ways, we've got a grudge against him as well," Viridian says. "Business is safe. It's a good moral system at times but always a system for calming tensions and bringing out reasonable mindsets. As long as it's business, it makes things much easier because there's none of that hogwash and rot about grudges or emotion or crusades; it's all about what makes everyone in the encounter wealthier and safer, and so everyone wants to wheel and deal and certainly not reach for guns. Trench sounds like he's interfering in this and it's in the business community's best interest to make sure he's removed so that business can go on. They just haven't realized this yet... but they will."

"Speaking of business..." Verde drops back enough to walk alongside Diana. "Hey, MPD pony... you look like someone who's got an eye for what you can use to make a good weapon into a really great weapon and maybe another kind of weapon altogether. Want any help with that?" She also shifts her gaze slightly to take note of the white griffin and give him a quick, polite nod and a small two-fingered gesture for him to walk over closer as she converses with Diana.

Just as her daughter is dropping back, the mercenary runs right into Johnny Maker and Viridian quite nearly does the same. Having seen the giant in the cameras, though, her reaction is to very gently place a hand on the merc's wrist. "I wouldn't shoot the giant and possibly dangerous gentlepony, or even threaten him miss," she says before looking up at Johnny. "Hello Mister Maker. My name is Viridian Rain and the young emerald-coated white-maned mare behind me is my daughter Verde. I spoke to you over the PA system inviting you up to the security office, if you recall, and am delighted to meet you in person and discover that your physical assets are as impressive and useful as they appeared to be." She gestures back to Wild. "This gentlepony appears to know you, at least well enough to know your name and somewhat of your disposition and I should hope that with his aid, we might reach reasonable and mutually-beneficial accord with you. Preferably, an accord that doesn't involve you applying that massive hammer to any part of us, and even more preferably, an accord that involves you applying that massive hammer towards the resolution of any difficulties we should come across."

This entire time, Viridian is smiling in a very sincere fashion, seeming completely unfazed by the massiveness of Johnny and even genuinely pleased to see him. Appearances aside, however, she gestures quite firmly for Wild to come forward and deal with the issue; given her earlier assertion that Wild would be a good leader for their group, it would appear that she intends for Johnny Maker to be his first chance to prove her right. The mercenary might also notice that in stopping her from shooting at or threatening Johnny, Viridian has stepped well within arm's reach of the rucksack but appears unaware of this fact and in fact doesn't appear to have any intention of trying to take it or examine it.

One twelfth of Wild Card was sorely tempted to shoot Auftrag before he left for that comment about Pegasi, but the fact he had so eagerly disappeared made Wild let out a sigh of relief, holstering the revolver at last and focusing on other things in the room, like the notes box he had pulled out of the locker. Opening it, he found a few... well, notes. Deciding now was not the time to be reading and more the time to get out at last, he swiftly just pocketed what he could into his duster and stood up again.

Looking at the entirety of the group, bar Jäger as he was out on a mission, Wild spotted a few people he hadn't actually spoken to much or really seen around, it was the griffon and the other MPD pony. Idly he thought about conversing after things calmed down a little and they were out in the fresh - when compared to the prison - air. Either way, he followed after the mercenary, seeing that Viridian was conversing with her and had things under control by the looks of it.

Though he was surprised when the mercenary and Viridian stopped so suddenly, making Wild Card lean to the side to see what happened, though he did this purely for effect as he could very well see what was blocking them due to the sheer height of it. "Hey Johnny!" He said cheerfully, walking around the two mares and smiling widely at the unicorn stallion holding the rebar club. "Wow, didn't expect to see you here. What'd they do you in for? Never mind, we can't remember why we're here either. Anyway, this is Viridian," The blue stallion motioned towards Viridian, "And this is a random pony who just so happens to know how to get out and seems rather helpful, she is also aiming a gun at you... but hopefully that will stop very soon." "There are also a few others with us who are, so far, friendly." "Plus... you got a little something on your shoe." Wild informed Johnny in a calm and yet cheery manner. "Oh and guys, when Gentle, that is, the other one who just spoke, said Johnny's not very talkative, he meant to say he doesn't talk at all. Don't worry though, I can relay what he wants to say... don't ask how exactly, just years of spending time with a friend who doesn't utter a word forces you to learn how they really talk, even if it is just to have a decent conversation with them."

Diana continued to hang around, not saying much and not acknowledging many, though she did give a subtle nod to Johnny. Where she wanted to go had not yet made itself clear, and now it seemed to be less of a question of direction and more of a question of who she wanted to follow. She was still somewhat undecided on that, though, so all she could do was wait for more to happen.

You gonna move any time soon?

Patience.

Yeah, but we don't have any of that!

The two of you don't have any of that. We just have to wait if we want to get out of here with the best circumstances.

Dark listened in on the conversations going on inside but something about pegasi caught his attention. That unicorn he had punched just said something pegasi weren't pleased. He glared at the door for a moment, growling. He swore if that unicorn walked out, he would choke him for that comment. He was caught a little by surprised when he sprinted out the door, making him stumble out of the way. "Dayum him t' tartarus." He mumbled to himself, turning to look at Jäger.

He nodded slowly, trying to figure out what the pony was saying to him. "'Course ah'm ready." A ghost of a smile appeared on his face as he followed close behind. Now this was a pony he could get along with...If he could understand him most of the time. "Hmm? Problem?" He said, once they got to the armory. He took a closer took at the door, tapping it with a finger real quick. "Hmm...Yup. Dat door ain't gonna open any time soon. Ah suggest we get movin' outta this hell hole." He said, chuckling a little at Jäger's analogy of the door. "Or....We can find tools fer meh and ah can try getting dah door open. Ah'm rather good at...makin' thin's." He said, a smile more present on his face as he followed Jäger back to the security room.

Star blinked, feelings like he was being somewhat ignored. He just shrugged that feeling away as Strawberry came back. He just stayed quiet while the others talked, thinking to himself. Should he stay with these ponies? They had great ideas like explore the prison first and he had been a dummy for not looking at what was in the trash can. These ponies could do him some good...plus he could make friends with somepony who wont backstab him.

He looked at the three ponies in front of him. "If I can add something, I don't think going back to the others is such a good idea. i mean sure there is a saying called safety in numbers, but that can be blown down with facts. Like the possibility of someone backstabbing someone and killing them?" He said, shrugging a little. "I also think the weapons cache is our better option. I mean that announcement for earlier said that the armory was flooded with chemicals. It would probably be too much of a pain to get into the armory anyway. Maybe the others will go through the trouble of getting into it, but we should probably leave. Speaking of which, ....There was seriously an exit right in front of our faces and we didn't even see it...? Damn..." He sighed, wondering if the three would listen to him, but he planned to stick with them if they chose something different from what he suggested.

PostSubject: Re: Fallout: The New Arrivals   Fallout: The New Arrivals - Page 4 Icon_minitimeSat Nov 08, 2014 6:50 pm

During the drama in the security room Johnny had been facing an interesting dilemma. Rebar club, or metal bar. The rebar club looked good, but at the same time the pole had proven it's worth, and had the reach advantage. He was in the middle of thinking up how to best combine the two, to give the best of both worlds, without the disadvantages of short range or unwieldiness, when he looked up to find a gun was being pointed at him. More accurately, at his chest. Poor choice really. Six shot revolver, six shots in it. For a stallion his size he would be able to take all six shots to the chest and still be able to crush her before his body realised it was dead, unless she hit something important that is.

He gave the other two a glance as they spoke, but did not greet them in turn, his even, calculating gaze going back to the gun in the mare's hand. Slowly he moved the metal bar so he was holding it in the same hand as the rebar club, and started to move forwards, his heavy footsteps making the walkway he was crossing creak and complain from his weight. Coming to a stop in front of the mercenary he looked down at her, and lifted a hand slowly to grab her gun, lifting it up. He made her press the gun to his forehead, his eyes now boring into her own, their icy depths swirling like a whirlpool under a frozen lake, threatening to drag you down if the protection of the ice sheet broke. But his stance wasn't threatening, it was relaxed, calm, making it seem the stallion was in control of the situation from the sheer sense of dominance he seemed to radiate.

This was a test, to see how the mercenary would react to being shown the proper way to kill him, by him. If she did pull the trigger, she would find the stallion more then ready to move and strike at the first sign of a finger twitch. But he was certain it wouldn't come to that.

PostSubject: Re: Fallout: The New Arrivals   Fallout: The New Arrivals - Page 4 Icon_minitimeSat Nov 08, 2014 7:01 pm

The merc looked Johnny right in the eyes as he put the gun to his own head, his fingers moving the barrel very slowly up until he could have easily just pulled the trigger and ended his life; she very slowly pulled back, pulling her hand away from him until the barrel of the gun left his fingers, he was lucky she hadn't fired this today or he'd have a rather burnt finger.

She was strong, not enough to have seriously outfought Johnny or someone of similar size but enough to break his grip; certainly stronger than a mare of her stature looked, she was about Wild Card's size even with the presumably extra bulk provided by her gear. And from the look on her face even she couldn't explain quite why she'd held her fire against an obviously powerful stallion.

"Right......." She said as she backed away. "You said you knew him... wanna, uh, tell him I'm friendly?" The mare asked as she backed up. "Quickly if you don't mind. I'd rather not shoot." The mercenary seemed to have mistaken silence for deafness from the stallion. "Because we should be leaving asap before my employers wonder where I've gone."

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

With Strawberry's group the pipbuck continued it's talking from the radio station. "Just a heads up, all those of you in the direction of Junktown should be aware of lots of ghoul folk coming in from Horn Bridge, which... well, doesn't exist anymore. Keep your guns in their damn holsters, unless a ghoul is pulling a gun on you or gnawing on your head you shouldn't be pulling weapons on them. They're ponies like you and me after all."

The mare on the radio paused for a moment. "We got some announcements too, some missing persons first up; we got a reward of an unspecified number of bits for the return of Viridian Rain. This is NOT a bounty notice you itchy trigger fingers, it's a wanted alive. Also, we got the usual suspects; five hundred thousand bits to anyone who brings in Trench dead, like that's gonna happen. Five hundred small ones for any other Preacher."

There was nothing else to salvage in the rooms it seemed. The radio continued playing as they sat there with their gathered supplies, hearing what was going on in the world they'd been so cut off from.

Wyvorn shrugged and seeing that noone really wanted his second knife, he holstered them both behind his belt and let the ponies talk. He didn't really want to freely enter a conversation, as he was afraid that he may break it like so. Wyvorn also noticed the unusually big guy approaching, and he took Wild's word that he was friendly, and just when he was about to follow the mercenary, he noticed that Verde motioned him to come closer. Well, if I'll start getting along these guys, I might aswell start with this one. he thought as he approached Verde, partially wondering why he was called over.

"I tend to agree with that," Viridian says. "The faster we quit this place, the faster we get better-armed, the faster we start to wrap our hands around the issue of Trench or around his neck preferably, and the faster we get back to the delightful and relatively safe business of running guns and plumbing the depths of any facility that's isolated and dangerous just in case 'isolated' plus 'dangerous' equals 'untouched arsenals for profit'. But the first element of that plan is you and making sure the employers that sent you to this prison forgot they did and wonder where you wandered off to." There's a touch of humor in her eyes and tone as she says this.
Verde, meanwhile, notices that Diana appears to have missed that she was spoken to so she snaps her fingers and waves her hand in front of the mare's eyes. "Hey, MPD pony... are you having an internal conversation or something? I asked you if you wanted me to give you a helping hand on your arsenal improvement. Speakin' of arsenal improvements, though..."
She turns to the griffin as he draws closer. "Hey there handsome, name's Verde Tin and the older mare over yonder" she points to Viridian "is my mum, Viridian Rain. The distracted-looking sort has voices in her head and seems to be having a lively conversation with them, but the one that feels like talking to the real world is called 'Diana'." She smiles broadly. "You look like just the sort of guy that'll be handy to have around, says I. In a waste chock full of predators, I like the idea of having our own that's got brains to boot, and that's reckoning without what else you've got up your sleeve. So lay it out for me... whatcha do and who're you?"

"Hm?" Diana looked up, at Verde. "Oh, my apologies. You are correct; I was internally distracted and failed to notice your comment." She tilted her head to the side. "Interestingly, your diagnosis is one of multiple-personality disorder... which is perhaps not entirely wrong." After that, she inclined her head. "In any case, I would appreciate any help with an improvement to an arsenal which you are willing to offer, but as far as possible I would not like to impose. If it is too troublesome for you I shall not request any assistance."

What?! Hey, if you don't want better weapons I sure as Tartarus do!

Be patient. Friends first, weapons later.

What good do friends do?

But Blood, friends are nice! They make you happy!

More importantly, they give strength in numbers and support. A pause. Like I said, patience.

"Even iv hyu manage to unloch de door, den ve shtill have de poise-un to deal vit," Jäger replied as he and Dark walked. "Iv ve could hopen de door on de vay hout dough... den maybe," he trailed off as he continued walking. When they finally reached the security room, Jäger found it to his dismay empty of ponies. Though a combination of a glance at the camera feeds and/or listening to the noises coming from down the hall made finding the others a not so difficult task.

He gave a small jerk of his head towards the group, showing Dark that they were in that direction before proceeding that way himself. As Jäger got closer he started catching bits of conversation, coming in to actual conversating range when Diana mentioned several words around two that really caught his attention. 'Improvement and arsenal', then some more words, but they didn't matter to Jäger as much.

"Vell ve von't be gettink hany help vrom dey harmory in dis place. Dey alarm ish tellink de trood. Door ish shealed hair tight, vit gas pozzibly hunder prezzure behind it. Like vhen shomevon lets de shtinky und heveryvon leaves de room huntil de shtink goes avay." Jäger reported as he walked up to the group, and not noticing Johnny at first. When he did, Jäger's expression rapidly went through shock, awe, consideration, acceptance, and then grinning like a maniac. "Ho, ish he comink halong too?" Jäger asked excitedly.

Wild Card simply stood still and watched as Johnny re-positioned the gun to point at his head. "If you want to kill me, aim for my head, not my chest. It will make it quicker for me and less wasteful for you." He said as Johnny performed his actions in silence, as if he were reading it off a script for the first time, before shaking his head and sighing. "Johnny, that's not how you make friends." Wild said disapprovingly to the unicorn, watching passively as the mercenary removed the unicorn's hand from the gun.

The blue pegasus then saw Jäger return and smiled happily. "Ah, good to see you... Um, forgot your name. Either way, no luck with the armory I hear... Well that's a shame, but at least we're not dying because of some gas." He said, before getting an idea and wandering towards Jäger. "Now, I hope you don't mind, but Johnny here, that is, tall red and burly, adores sledgehammers from what I remember of our time on the surface. Is it alright if he has the one you're carrying?" "Promise to get something for you to whack people with as soon as." Wild asked politely, looking between both Jäger and Johnny and grinning to himself. 'Two powerhouses, perfect.' He thought to himself. 'Oh, and apparently Diana there is MPD. Heh, might have to chat at some point.' He added, turning to the mercenary again. "Okay then, lead the way, I think we're all about done here."

Before Wyvorn arrived, Verde already started talking to him. He got slightly stunned when she called him 'handsome'. 'Me? Handsome? That's a first...' he thought as he continued listening to Verde, occasionally nodding when she was introducing him to Diana and her mother, Veridian. He continued listening up until she asked him a question.

"Well, first of all, pleased to meet you, I'm Wyvorn. Wyvorn Whitewing." he said before continuing. "I used to be a simple traveller up until I got locked in here... but I was always good with picking the locks." he said simply, a small hint of smugness appearing on his face as Verde spoke so highly compared to what he was used to.

Strawberry thought for a moment on what everyone said. Then she heard the radio announcements. “Hang on, isn’t that mare with the others the Viridian the radio is talking about? My memory is fuzzy, but I do vaguely recall names being spoken. Should we tell her about the announcement?” Strawberry inquired.

Frosty shook her head. “First, I have no idea how you remember something like that. I sure as Cerberus can’t. Second, there is something about her that drives me the wrong way. I don’t want to cross paths with her. Ever. Third, what they do is not our business unless we force it on them.” She said. That seemed to silence Strawberry. “Now then, I have an idea. I say we leave, scavenge what we can at this cache, find a town or somewhere we can get a few more essential supplies, as well as directions, and find the radio station. Whether or not Vinyl hears about this somehow, I say we tell her our side of the story of this prison. We can also learn better about what we missed in the world.” She finished.

Strawberry gave the plan some thought. “It doesn't matter how I remember. I'm never going to use that knowledge anyway. I say it’s pretty much as solid as we can get at this point. Though, as always, let me do the talking.” She turned to the other two who have accompanied them. “How about you two? Anything you two know that could help? If not, we should get going soon.”

Natural Tune shrugged at Strawberry's question. "No idea. I've spent so much time here I'm sure I couldn' walk 'round for two feet without gettin' lost, Berreh. I stand by my earlier statement. Where ya go, I go." He said tapping his chest with a fist as he ended the sentence.

Star listened to Frosty and Strawberry talk, nodding his head occasionally. He then looked at Tune then shrugged. "Yeah...No. I don't remember anything that could be of use here. And yeah, we should get going." He smiled a little, walking out of the bathroom that they had all been in while they were listening to the radio. "Well then let's go." He smiled brightly at the three ponies.

((For now this game has to act on the assumption that Johnny Maker has dropped out))

The mercenary simply shook herself and gestured for the group to follow her, holstering her firearm as she led them toward the exit, reapplying her facemask and hood as they approached the door. "Well I'm afraid I can't let you come with me." She said simply to the group when she reached the doors. "My group wouldn't exactly approve of me bringing unknowns back to base, especially not with the Lunars and Solars still looking for any excuse to infiltrate and subjugate every other organisation big enough to threaten them."

She hesitated before throwing something to Wild Card. A small black stone, with a pair of assault rifles and guard helmet crossed like a traditional skull and crossbones painted on it. "If you get in serious trouble try showing that around; it might not do much but if the people giving you trouble are gullible enough to buy it they'll think you're part of the Bullet Club, and that'll make em back off." With that the mare took off into the wastes... where, just their luck, it seemed the beginnings of a sandstorm were brewing.

((I'm having to work around a fair few factors here people, so sorry for the abrupt post. But let me make this abundantly clear: there is nothing left for you in the prison.))

After hearing the Wild's suggestion, Jäger offered the new pony the sledgehammer. If he took the weapon, Jäger would simply move on, and if he didn't motion to take it Jäger would simply shrug and slide the weapon back into the holster he had for it.

After that though Jäger didn't pay much attention to what the various ponies around him were saying since it didn't seem to pertain directly to him, nor did it interfere with what he considered to be his current standing mission. The only ponies Jäger still directed just about any interest towards were Wild, Viridian, and the mercenary since she seemed to know a couple interesting things about the area. When she turned to leave/lead the group towards the exit, Jäger immediately moved to follow. "It'sh about time ve got out off here," he said while following, though Jäger did stagger at the entrance as the blindingly bright light of the outside world struck him full force.

Enough experiences had taught him to shield his eyes with his arm from the direct sunlight as he exited the building, but even still the little bits that he could see around his arm were still white with brightness. When color began to fill in, Jäger hesitantly removed his arm to gaze about the surrounding wastes as he searched for any distinguishable landmarks as well as taking note of the approaching weather. "Hoy, ve might vant ta hurray, dere's ah shtorm comink in," Jäger said/called back to the others.

When he had been offered the hammer, Johnny had taken it cautiously, giving the strange being that was Jäger a small nod of thanks and acknowledgement. Now equipped with a metal bar and a hammer, the large stallion felt quite good with both his hands full, one wit metal, the other with a tool. It felt very natural. But it could be better. Turning his back to the group, he held both near each other, his eyes starting to glow a light icy blue as his hands did, making what looked like cracks appear along the surface of both items, the same light shining through them. As he brought the two closer together, sparks started to fly between them, magical lightning connecting between them. When they finally touched, they merged together, melting into one another. The whole thing glowed for a second before the light faded, and Johnny turned around with a small smirk on his face, which Wild would clearly know would mean he was chuffed with what he'd done.

What he had done was make a nice weapon for himself. Using some of the metal from the bar he'd made the hammerhead of the sledgehammer a little bigger, and using some of the handle from the sledgehammer he'd made the metal bar more, well, like a handle. From a third of the way down the bar to over halfway down was a grip, another grip two thirds down and not as long. It looked neater, the rust purged off it, a fresh tool of destruction waiting for use. With his new toy ready the stallion stood behind Wild in perspective of the rest of the group, hammer in hand by his side, waiting to see what the Blue Pegasus had planned.

Wild Card followed the mercenary all the way to the doors, looking back at Johnny and his new weapon he had created out of the materials, along with the unicorn's small smirk that spoke volumes to Wild, mostly about how nice the weapon was in both design and practicality. Turning back around to face the mercenary, Wild then caught the small object that was thrown to him, inspecting it and turning it around to look at it from all angles.

"The Bullet Club... Hm..." The pegasus said, mostly to himself as the mercenary left them. Wild looked up into the large expanse of the Wastes and had to shield his eyes from the brightness with a hand, but soon his vision adjusted to the light well enough so that it wasn't painful to look out. "Well... First thing's first, she mentioned the radio channels. 1, 2 and 4 if I recall correctly." He spoke out, wandering beside Jäger while pulling the radio from one of his pockets. "4 is our lucky number, so let's start there."

The stallion stopped as he fumbled around with the radio dial, twisting it this way and that until it showed that it was playing on Channel 4. "Hopefully this will help us what's been going on for however long we've been locked up down there." "Or it could be jack-shit because radio is also entertainment too." Wild Card looked at the group in whole, smiling at them all with a genuinely happy grin. "At least we're out of that hell-hole." "And Johnny, there're some notes in my right-side pocket I picked up from the locker in the security room. I haven't had chance to look at them but I think you might want a bit of light reading." "Yeah, can't imagine you got to read much in Solitary, and share them around for others if they're useful." He suggested to the towering red unicorn, placing the radio on the ground for a moment to take out the small map he had gained in the locker too.

"And if the big guy here is right," Wild looked up at the beginnings of a sandstorm, "which is seems like he is, we'd better take his advice. Nearest city according to this is... that way, I think." "Does anyone want the map? It would help me not have to carry this all." He said lightheartedly to the group, holding out the map while also picking up the radio again and making his way in the direction the path on the map dictated. "If someone wants the radio as well, be my guest."

"OK, voices in the brain isn't totally wrong... but I'm guessing it's sort of wrong. So lay it out for me." Verde pauses a moment. "Well, not right now because there are important things to get done, but sooner is better. As to the arsenal improvements, gal, you're talking to a girl who loves her tools and loves to play with machines and make things better. Improving your stuff isn't a chore, it's relaxation. Damn shame I can't throw a CNC machine at it... you can do amazing things with a CNC that you just can't do any other way." Her gaze moves back to Wyvorn. "Speaking of doing amazing things, I love guys who tickle locks. Takes a touch like none other to sweet-talk those tumblers and I admire that in a bird. Damn good ta know you, Whitewing, and I'll put caps on me being even gladder to know you in the near future. There's always places I want to go that I'm not supposed to go, because everyone puts their best stuff in places they don't think anyone can get to."

While Verde is talking to Wyvorn and Diana, Viridian watches as Jager hands the silent tower of stallion-powered smashing a sledgehammer. Her eyes go nearly impossibly wide as Johnny appears to magically merge the sledgehammer and a length of bar into a completely new weapon. She stares at the stallion open-mouthed, barely even registering that the merc has decided to disappear on them, or that the leader she insisted on now has a strange-looking token that involves bullets. The scholar/gunrunner has all her attention on Johnny's work and is internally suppressing the most cheerleader-on-helium squee ever heard by mortal ponykind. How is that even POSSIBLE? He just took two semi-refined materials and turned them into a single object with some magic? Who IS this stallion? And when can I get some of him? The last mental question brings her up short and she mentally facepalms. I've been in that cell too long... She shakes her head a moment before looking to Wild as one of his personalities offers a map and a radio. "I'd be happy to hold the map, if it's acceptable to you," she says to him. "I'd also be happy to know exactly who your friend is or more to the point, what he is." She looks up at Johnny. "I've never seen that kind of magical power before, nor that kind of ability, and I admit that I'm... intrigued by what he can do with it."

Frosty looked at their group once more, then towards where Strawberry said the exit was. “Well since there are no more objections, I’d say we should get going as soon as possible. Strawberry, lead the way.” She said, letting her pink friend take the lead. She checked her gun one last time, making sure it was set as well, before following Strawberry as she led them to the cafeteria.

When the group got there, they saw not only the beginnings of a sandstorm brewing, but the other group in their way. Strawberry frowned upon seeing them. “You know, any other time I’d be happy to stop and chat, but I think we really should be going before the storm outside gets any worse.” She stated, pointing past the others towards the open world outside the Stable.

Frosty nodded. “Yeah, I agree. If we’re to get there before that storm gets too harsh to travel through, we need to move now.” She said, starting to walk around the other group towards the big hole in the wall, Strawberry following.

Tune cracked his neck as he looked at the world outside the Stable and used his arm to wipe his nose.
"Well, if we meet the others later, we oughta at least say hi to them." He commented as he followed, giving the others a thumbs up and a toothy grin as he passed them. "See ya guys later, 'aight?" He said as he adjusted the grenades a bit and turned his face back to face the direction where he was walking.
"I wonder if there's a guitar or something out there." He mused out loud before he started to whistle a little tune to himself.

Wyvorn released a slight chuckle as Verde was commenting on his lockpicking skills. "Oh stop it, you're gonna make me blush.." he said under his breath while keeping a smile. He then looked around the office, noticing others were gone. "Hey uhm.. we should probably follow them." Wyvorn said as he stepped towards the exit of the office, hoping that Verde would follow him so they could meet up with others.

Upon their arrival, Wyvorn would first notice the bright light from the entrance, partially blocked by the group of others that were there too. He first inhaled the fresh air, mumbling "Man, finally some fresh god damn air... I missed ya, old bud." before noticing the slightly abnormally big guy along with them. "Well... I haven't seen that size before..." he silently said before finally stepping out and just then noticing the sandstorm approaching. "Well... that's some bad luck right there. I suppose we'll have to spend some more time in this damned hole to wait the sandstorm out... unless your idea is to walk straight through it. Personally, I prefer not to be covered in sand." he said before sitting down on the outside ground, continuing to enjoy the fresh air outside while he can.
