I'm assuming you meant the custom race guy. I've summarized the race's most important details, and you can just read up on their other details from the link.

Name: Kuganil

Race: Deeryad (Deeryads are mystical deer living outside of the Equestrian mainland. They are attuned to the land in a way that is akin to a mix of earth pony and unicorn magics. They have a very long history, predating equine dominance of Equestria.)

Age: 54

Mane: None

Coat: Light brown

Cutie mark.: None

Extra details that aren’t needed but are nice to add: Kuganil has fourteen branches on each of his antlers.

Distinguishing Features: He has only one eye which is already blind. The other has been burnt shut.

Specialty (eg. special spells, unique powers etc): Kuganil, like all Deeryads, is capable of manipulating the earth. He normally uses lava eruptions, although he is capable of other things as well. His true specialty involves manipulating plant life. Like all other Deeryads, he is stronger when with his kin.

He senses activity by feeling the earth's tiny shifts whenever something happens. This is rather limited in range, but his hearing allows him to get a general idea of what's going on from some distance.

Weaknesses: Kuganil has no sight, thus his detection is short - ranged.

Occupation: Elder of the Deeryads in Steedfast.

Gear: None.

History: Kuganil's tribe originally dwelt within the outskirts of the Ebonwood Forest. They were an offshoot of the Lag - Ahlag, a larger tribe known for its nomadic existence. The offshoot tribe inherited that wanderlust and began to wander, relocating from place to place, never straying too far from the Ebonwood.

A few explorer deer found a piece of their past near one of the places they stayed. It was a small, eroded stone library, its traps still active and lethal. After much effort, they recovered its knowledge, along with a map that led to Sah - Ganna, their ancient empire's capitol. The tribe agreed to travel back to their homeland and see if they couldn't rebuild it.

Kuganil was supposed to have died when he was but a deer of twenty years as his tribe was attacked while traversing the Akosh Plains. He was struck down in battle, however, he refused to stay down, channeling the magic of the earth to strengthen himself and carry him to the end of the battle his tribe had with a powerful black dragon. Strengthened by the earth and his family, he eventually fought it to a draw, sending it retreating, bloodied and battered.

When the dragon left the battlefield, he finally collapsed, and teetered upon the brink of life and death for the better part of an entire month. When he woke up, he spoke of a spiritual journey he had travelling the boundary of the dead and the living. He saw nothing more once he woke, for he had become blind, but he has said that physical sight was a small price to pay for seeing the nature of the world.

He became the elder of his tribe - the May - Yari, a title he refuses to be called by, claiming it a title that belongs to the past, and to deer much greater - during the time that their migration passed through the base of the Auguol mountain. They were attacked at this point by powerful umbralisks, and though they could not defeat them, he managed to lead them away together with his predecessor, and a few brave Deeryads. He was the only one that returned, and was unanimously voted to lead the tribe in lieu of the past elder who died in the effort to save the tribe. He reluctantly accepted after much pestering, thinking himself unworthy, and strived to prove his worth.

He led his tribe slowly back to the borders of Equestria where their ancestral lands lay, untouched ever since the great schism of the ancient Deeryad empire, and the distance shortened more and more with every passing year. The longer they traveled though, the slower they went as their families grew larger and larger. He himself has no family of his own, yet all of the tribe treat him as their father, even those older than him.

Now wiser and stronger from years of travel and leading his tribe, Elder Kuganil faced the same dragon that had blinded him, ten years after their first battle. He again beat it into a stalemate, this time alone as the rest of his tribe retreated into safety. When it was time for the deciding strike to come, the dragon stopped and told him that he would return to settle things once and for all. Kuganil waits for that day to come. He has told no one that he has foreseen that day being his last.

Most recently, Kuganil and his tribe have arrived, once again, to the borders of Equestria in the middle of a large civil war. They took up temporary residence in Steedfast, a young frontier town in southwest Equestria. Its original earth pony population was distrustful, but Kuganil's help with simultaneous attacks of the undead and a lesser dragon increased their respect for him and his tribe enough to name him "Dragonslayer" and share the land with them.

"I have seen, with these eyes of mine, the world's plans and grand design. I had lost my sight but gained much more. For now I know how to ensure that those I care for survive and endure."

Personality: Kuganil does not care for material possessions. He holds family ties in very high regard. He is very calm and near impossible to anger, and even when he is angry he shows none of it, believing that if he loses his composure the rest of his tribe will follow.

He will face his problems on his own and try his hardest not to involve others. However, if it is necessary for others to be made aware and active about something, he will not hesitate.

Kuganil will never act out of impulse. If he should find himself in a situation forcing him to do so, he will refuse to act, leaving the situation a stalemate until he comes up with a plan. It is however very rare that he is forced into a situation that might make him act out of impulse, as his foresight, both the spiritual one he gained from being so near death and his natural precognition and prediction abilities usually cover his bases.

He holds honor in regard, though not as much as those that came before him did. If ever honor and life would come up on different sides of the coin, he will without hesitation dishonor himself to save his kin.

Kuganil speaks formally, even when he taunts and jokes. He also likes to speak in rhyme, and speaks of great length about having been friends with the zebras he had encountered in the tribe's wanderings, from whom he picked up an interest in poetry.

Virtue: Stability

Current Home: Kuganil's tribe has recently settled in Steedfast, alongside its ponies.

Misc: Kuganil is the only Deeryad to ever have fought a fully - grown dragon to a stalemate all alone. As Deeryads grow much stronger if they have their kin with them, his tribe is both awed and afraid of his power, enough to match a dragon alone. Granted, he nearly died, but he, as well as his family, considers it his greatest achievement yet.

History: Brutus was raised by ponies, and a bit of an oddity, being so passionate and kind for one so tall and intimidating, but he is just a big softie. As a child he always wanted to be a guard like the mare who adopted him, but gave up that dream when she got hurt one day when out on patrol. He helped his mother get better, and she eventually got back to her job, telling him she loved the thrill of the job, but promising to be more careful. He grew up always one of the smartest in school, and he wasbulliedbecause he was different, but the few ponies who he defended from bullies quickly became his friends, and he was very loyal to them. He eventually got a job cleaning up at a bar, much to his mother's irritation, but he gave her the excuse of a bar being a plethora of information that some never try to censor, and he could tip her off on some illegal operations, and she relented. He eventually came to own the bar when the previous owner died of a terminal illness, and, having no one to leave it to, he gave it to Brutus. Brutus hired some old friends from high school to help him out and business flourished, especially for non-equines.

Personality: Kind, helpful, respectful, charming.

History: Sakura spent most of her years wandering the Everfree and surrounding areas, but she usually stays in her village, which lies deep in the Everfree. When she was younger, she was one of the pranksters, always messing around and constantly playing tricks on others, usually with help from her friends. When she came of age she had a few coltfriends, but she usually, when they started to get serious, asked them if they thought they were stallion enough for her, and they all said they were, but only one was stallion enough to deal with her extra part. Sakura's coltfriend, the one who was stallion enough, was killed by a manticore, and the mare was depressed for a few years, but she eventually got over it. She became the village shaman after an annual contest in which the Treefolk contest each other to see who is the strongest, the the one who is becomes a part of the village's council, the ruling body of that single village. Shamans are the spokeponies for their specific village. She has been trying to make nice with the local town of Ponyville, but she usually messes it up in some way, an accidental insult to the princesses, a prank, a few rather lewd jokes which, apparently, 'the purple one' doesn't like.

Personality: Out-going, flirty, always seems to be trying to get in someone's pants, but she really just tries to mess around, and joke and have fun. Very kind, but cannot deal with shy people, she always clams up when they are near, and she knows they are shy, she doesn't know what to say around them.

Current Home: Everfree, but she loves to explore the nearby town of Ponyville.

Misc: The Treefolk are a plant-like species and can look like any other species so long as it is sentient, whether it D-dogs, Uni, Pega, Earth, Ali, Dragon, Mino, Gryph, etc etc. They are very skilled in Nature magic and with potion-brewing, especially with their knowledge of plants, since they themselves are a lot more than sentient plants, but mostly they look like different kinds of trees. Strong physically and magically, mentally invulnerable to normal mind-altering magics, but they are extremely susceptible to extremes in temperature, whether heat or cold. Especially Fire, they are all very terrified of any form of flame.

Sakura is one of the 10% that are born as mixed genders. She has the shape and body of an Earth Pony. In place of fur she she has tree bark similar to that of a cherry blossom tree, mane and tail are replaced by a thin branch with a few twigs and smaller branches extending from it but the entirety of it covered with cherry blossoms, but other Treefolk usually have leaves and sometimes even fruit, depending on the season.

Female body, with female parts, just an extra part between the legs, rather large and she is quite proud of it, though embarassed when people see it, for they usually freak out.

History: Not much is known about Ara, but what is known is this: She is believed to be a descendant of the fabled Arachne, the first Spider. She was found by a pegasus mare in the Everfree forest, and was raised up to the age of seven, when her adopted mother died of a bone disease. She was teased and bullied by other ponies because of her eyes and cutie mark, and because of this, she finds it hard to trust other ponies, but once she does, she will be a kind friend to you.
Personality: At first, seems to be dark and cold, but once she warms up to you is quite the opposite

Distinguishing Features: Nothing.

Specialty (eg. special spells, unique powers etc): She can, when under extreme pressure, use the environment in combat despite her lack of fighting capability. Otherwise, she has a fairly smooth tongue for avoiding conflicts. She also inherited some characteristics of her father, such as sharp observational skills, strong survival instincts, and a general capability to learn quickly when focused.

Weaknesses: She has absolutely no combat expertise.

Occupation: Formerly receptionist at Fillydelphia's Buffalo Sieve Hotel.

Gear: A basic saddlebag, and a knife from someone who saved her life in the past (see history).

History: Inkleaf was born to a comatose mother and a missing father. She didn't exactly have the best childhood, as her mother, Willow Shelf, had a meager salary as a mere librarian and the city they lived in, Detrot, was a hard place to live in even for the rich. Her father, Lamplight (though she never knew his name, or anything of him) left nothing either. Like her parents, she didn't receive a formal education, and like her parents she managed to teach herself the basics.

She studied in her mother's library, much like her father did, and she noticed that whenever her mother taught her, it was with a wistful look in her eyes, and the most she ever got out of her as an explanation was that it reminded her of the times she had with Inkleaf's father. Her mother told her very little about her father, only saying that he was a great stallion that the world showered with misfortune. The few pictures in her home had her father cut out of them, hidden by Willow for whatever reason.

In her early teen years, she, like many others, was gripped by intense wanderlust. Using her missing father as pretext, she left to roam, and possibly to search for her father. The lack of restraint intoxicated her, and she quickly developed a strong, independent personality. She got by safely for some time with her smooth talking out of problems, and had rummpus hummpus with the occasional good - looking stranger.

However, in her naivete she forgot to prepare properly for the long term, and as she wandered off alone, she was soon kidnapped by the Hollow Shades slavers, and held in captivity for nearly a year. During this time, she was repeatedly beaten and raped, and the collar put on her left a permanent mark that she covered up with her mane. She drifted close to insanity many times, and her poor mental state kept her stuck in Hollow Shades, as the slavers could not sell her.

During a busy day, a lull in security allowed her to sneak out. She was terrified, wandering and trembling at the slightest sound, struggling to keep herself from screaming at every sight. However, she lucked out and passed by one of the fuel stockpiles of the slavers, and her fear was suddenly replaced by a cold, cruel smile as plots for revenge formed in her head. Carefully, she set up a trail of gasoline, and while the slavers were busy closing up a big deal, she lit it all on fire, starting a blaze that would go on to slaughter most of the slavers. However, a few slaves got caught as well.

She collapsed from the exhaustion, and when she woke up surrounded by ashes, she lapsed into madness, and would have died from a bear that happened to wander in hungry, had it not been for the timely intervention of Lampshade, whose identity, nor relation to her father, she never found out. Lampshade saved her life, and guarded her for some time, until she made it to Fillydelphia after months of recovery and plenty of therapist action on Lampshade's part. It took a lot of time before she could get over murdering dozens, and even longer for her to smile again. Thanks to him however she did return to a cheerful, if slightly fragile, state. Lampshade's interest in masks and total transformation had an impact on her, and she changed her name to Contact, in homage to how contact with him changed her life, and replaced her mark as well.

When they parted, Lampshade left one of his knives with her, and disappeared. She settled herself in Fillydelphia temporarily, just long enough to make herself enough money for a safe trip home. Her plans were interrupted by the invasion of Fillydelphia, which put her in the company of Lamplight as they both adventured back to Detrot, though neither of them know that they are family yet.

Personality: Inkleaf / Contact is direct and honest about most things, and is secretive about some others. If there is someone or something she likes or dislikes, she will say it outright, and act on it accordingly. It is rare for her to not act on her impulses, and this usually only happens when she has a large plan in mind.

She is touchy and fragile when it comes to certain topics, most particularly Hollow Shades. Mentioning the dark time in her past will send her spiraling into horror and despair.

Inkleaf has a one - track mind at times, capable of dedicating a hundred percent of her attention to a single thing if it matters to her enough. This is backed up by her stubbornness, and when she fixates on something it proves difficult to detach her from that.

Inkleaf is cheerful and innocent at first glance, though she hides below this layer a damaged persona and a calculating schemer. The schemer part of her personality rarely manifests and usually stays hidden.

Current Home: Fillydelphia (most recent). Currently traveling with Lamplight.

Misc: She spent her first salary from Fillydelphia's Buffalo Sieve Hotel to have an artist paint a small portrait of her mother, Willow Shelf. This portrait was eventually lost when Fillydelphia was invaded.

Weaknesses: Very little knowledge of melee combat (this doesn't include barfights with breaking the bottles), due to his broken horn, his magic sometimes doesn't work.
Occupation: Local mechanic
Gear: Usually wears a soviet coat, a handgun and an army knife
History: He grew up with his father, his mother left him with his father when he was 2 years old. His father was a mechanic and Cog was usually helping him in the workshop, thus gaining many mechanical skills. After his father passed away due to an unknown sickness, he was left alone with his father's very advanced workshop.

After a few years he visited one of the battlefields, which had a museum of military equipment near it. He saw the glorious soviet war machine, the IS-7 heavy tank, and immediately got attracted to it. Cog somehow managed to persuade the museum owners to buy the tank, using half of his gigantic savings.

In the next few years, he perfected the machine with the latest technology, making it usable by one person instead of 5, having everything automated with many computers, chips, stuff like that. He also hired some of the strongest unicorns to help him make the armor magic-resistant, but when they failed, he salvaged some magic-resistant metal from more advanced ruins and equipped his IS-7 with those.

He still drives that tank to this day and would even fight against Canterlot if they would want to take it away from him.
Personality: Usually drunk, not a bad sense of humor, mostly trying to start barfights when in taverns. Loves the IS-7 heavy tank as if it were his firstborn child and if someone as much as scratches it, the one that did will be in a world of pain.
Current Home: His father's workshop in Baltimare
Misc: Hopes to get his hooves on a ship someday.

Name: Rat

Race: Earth Pony.

Age: 20

Mane: Light, pale pink.

Coat: Dark grey.

Distinguishing Features: The way her tail is braided tightly enough to resemble a rat's tail, and the white spot of fur over the left side of her face, covering her eye and cheek. The fur on her lower hooves is mottled white and grey.

Specialty (eg. special spells, unique powers etc): She is very fast and can climb just about any surface easily, due to a natural concentration of her Earth Pony body's magic, reverting all plant-capabilities null while giving her a grip seemingly harder than steel, as well as a mental capability to see any vertical surface as merely an inconvenience, or 'too easy'. She lives up to her name almost comepletely. She is also very clever.

Weaknesses: Her small size, and being rather weak.

Gear: A short cloak and a pocket knife.

HistoryRat was one of the only children in her orphanage that pulled pranks, mostly since she was always so bored. But the younger kids loved her pranks, and Rat was constantly the 'cool kid' because she was funny. Rat grew attached to one of the kids, and visits once a week if she can, but Rat usually does her best to try to. Rat was raised in an orphanage most of her life and she left at age eighteen to strike out on her own, and eventually found a thrill in being on the wrong side of the law. She always sticks to the streets she knows and will allow herself to be hired to steal specific things, but most of her money is anonymously donated to the old orphanage she was raised in. She has had a few close calls with the law but her unnatural ability to climb almost any surface has aided her in escaping.

Personality Kind, reclusive, quiet, but very out-going once she gets some alcohol into her system.

Occupation: Thief.

Current Home: Manehattan.

Misc: She likes shiny things.

Name: Rebel "Bell" Blade

Occupation: Royal Guard, not a Lunar Guard.

Gear: Two polished gold shortswords with arrowhead-like tips, used to grab and pull away weapons, shields, etc etc. Her armor sometimes accompanies her.

History: Rebel "Bell" Blade was always something of a rebel, and never listened to any rules, regardless who gives them, or why they are present. As a child she was always found in the worst of hang-outs, with the types of kids who did drugs, but she never did anything too harmful to her record. When she reached adulthood she ignored her parents' asking for her to be a Lunar Guard, and did the opposite. She doesn't see her parents much, since they have pretty high ranks, and are Lunar, but she keeps in contact. She has almost a perfect track record, but uses unorthodox methods during interrogations and other things.

Personality: Polite, kind to those she knows, and angered when others tell her she shouldn't be a Royal Guard, but should be a Lunar.

History: Was at war with the griffon colonies at age 18-22 left a decorated war hero. Went back to Manehatten to seek out his wife and kid to find that some wealthy stallion had taken her heart, and his daughter. Unable to speak with the wife to convince her he was still alive (for the wealthy stallion had faked a report that he had died in combat.) he went quiet for what seemed a age. After a good year and a half at the bottle he picked himself up and seeker a new life in new colors, he retired to Canterlots library book clarifier.

Personality: Crude and unwilling to cope with stupidity, does not believe that he is above other ponies/griffons/crystal ponies/etc, he just dislikes those who he believes is moronic or 'dull' in his eyes. Seeks ponies with common knowledge of books. Twilight would practically die for his knowledge of books, you thought Twilight had read them all? Hehehe....

Race: Griffon
Age: 23

Distinguishing Features: Grievern is a mix of a Panther and a Raven, giving him the sleek, powerful body of the feline and the sharp, void like, black eyes and beak of the bird.

Specialty Sharpshooter. He is so good with a gun that the chances of missing are laughable. Highly agile flyer and mover, this guy is can be totally silent when he wants to be, able to blend into shadows like he was made of them, and move without a whisper of sound. He can just be there seemingly out of nowhere.
As well as his gun-slinging prowess Grievern has ways of taking an opponent down that are more quiet (until the screaming starts, if any) meaning he is not totally reliant on guns in a fight. He knows enough about various species' anatomy to be able to break them like a Kit Kat bar.
Aside from that his only other skill is being scary as hell when he wants to be, just because of sheer intimidation levels. That and he makes a lovely Victoria sponge.

Weaknesses: He's totally merciless when it comes to getting something done, even if he has to do unlawful things to do so. A lone wolf (Ironic as he is part cat.), not letting others get close to him. No companions, doesn't trust others to do things right and much prefers to work alone. While he isn't a braggart, he knows his shooting skills are unmatched and while he doesn't flaunt this, he will make it clear with a demonstration without hesitation.

Occupation: Mercenary, Gun For Hire.

Gear: This Griffon has access to every weapon under the sun, and moon, stored in safehouses across the world.. He does have favourites however. A long-range, ten round rifle for picking off victims, a compact, mobile version of a minigun for dealing with extensive cannon fodder, A custom made eight round compact combat shotgun for when he needs to get up close and personal with a gun and two highly powerful revolvers for just shooting shit up.
All of these can be custom modded for different missions, and he's not limited to just these weapons. An example would be the titanium shurikens he uses on stealth operations, and often has a few on his person.

Aside from the guns this Griffon also likes to wear a black long coat, waterproof of course, that doesn't hamper his movement or flight and stores whatever gear he needs to carry in its many pockets.

History: Grievern's parents never had a stable marriage, a weak little female Griffon and a pompous overly macho male don't mix right, and when the black Griffon was born because of his mother having a outing with some friends that ended in another male's house because of a bad drink, that was the final straw. The two broke up, and cellular Grievern was left with only a mother to care for him as he developed, the female too soft hearted to get rid of him.
But when he was born his mother couldn't take it, and her weakened heart gave out. With no one else to take him in the orphaned baby was sent to an orphanage.
Growing up in the less than civil environment Grievern learnt very early that in life you had to fight to get anywhere. And so he did. Joining a street gang at a very young age as an errand boy Grievern soon worked his way up the ranks, being trained by professional criminals to become the killing machine he is. For he had a talent for it. A scary gift for knowing how to snap a neck, or line up the sights just right.
After a disagreement many years later with the new guy in charge, who was doing a very bad job at running the joint, Grievern put a bullet in his head and decided gang life wasn't for him. Leaving the Griffon set out to put his killing skills to good, if sometimes questionable, use.

Personality: Cold hearted, calculating and mean, Grievern is not one you'd want to cross or meet in a dark ally. But he does have a soft spot for children and females, and will defend them if they are innocent, as those were the only people to treat him nicely as a majority.

Um... don't most people talk out loud?

I went through and gussied up the sheet you submitted to be nice. My issue here is that I'm always wary of someone making up a war to make their character into a war hero or a badass or something. I think this needs to be explained better in an extension of the history you've written here.

Name: Gem Factorem

Race: Earth Pony

Age: 48

Distinguishing Features: None to speak of except for a large, heavy smock that appears to be made of something akin to leather.  

Specialty (eg. special spells, unique powers etc): Gem is a tool and jewellery maker by trade, and so is able to manipulate metals and gems with ease. Furthermore, he is quite skilled at applying the basis for runes in the armour, though he is unable to activate them. He can also repair brocken runes, though again, he would have to get someone else to activate them. He has no magic that is unique to him, nor is he particularly fast or resilient. However, he is incredibly strong, able to swing a huge hammer made of a strange mix of steel, gold and titanium with ease. Furthermore, thirty plus years in the forge have made him resistant to heat, finding the high temperatures pleasant.  

Weaknesses: Gem is an earth pony, and as such, has no real magical defence to speak of. He also has never trained to become fast or resistant to damage, meaning he can only take as many hits as the average pony. He also despises the cold, and will take every opportunity to avoid it. Gem is also incredibly prone to drinking when he is bored, and will never refuse alcohol, regardless of what else is it. Finally, Gem is terrified of spiders, and will react violently upon seeing one, before running as fast as he can in the other direction.  

Occupation: Gem works as a royal smithy/gem worker, restoring the regalia and various other jewellery that belong to the Princesses. Despite his attempts to leave, he cannot seem to escape the work he is given by the Princesses.

Gear: Gem doesn’t carrying any particularly powerful equipment, nor does he go searching for a fight. He is always wearing his heavy leather-looking smock, and is often carrying his hammer, which he calls Titancracker. Made of steel, gold and titanium, it has a handle as long as a pony, with the head slightly smaller than a pony’s head. The head itself is designed similar to a warhammer, though one side of it is shaped more like a pick. He can swing it with ease, and though he says he has it for no particular reason, it was specifically designed to crack dragon scales.  
 
History: Gem was born in the town of Sydneigh, Oatstralia. As an only child, Gem grew up with little to entertain him other than his father, the blacksmith Hammer Strike. Hammer, unsure of any other way to provide for his son, taught him how to be a smithy. Gem didn’t mind, spending most of his time outside of school working the bellows or forging metal. His mother, Ruby Heart, decided that her son was not just going to learn smithing, and so started teaching him to work gems with greater skill and precision. His cutie mark came at age sixteen, when he first combined the two separate skill sets for the first time. At age twenty, he moved from Oatstralia to Equestria, heading for Canterlot. Upon his arrival to the capital, he was astounded by the riches, and spent most of the next few weeks wandering from place to place, searching for a job there. Finally arriving at the castle proper, he discovered that there was a pposition for the royal smithy. Applying immediately, he was contacted several days later, and returned to the castle for a test that would determine who would get the position. The test was simple; the applicants were presented with a random mare and stallion, and told to make a gift for each of them. Sensing a trick, Gem made a pair of simple gold bands. Where the rest of the group had prepared various extravagant necklaces and such, he stood alone with the simple rings. As each of the applicants went up, Gem began to worry, thinking he had been wrong. However, when he walked up to the mare and stallion, he gave both the rings to the stallion, winked and muttered “Good luck.” Turning, he returned to the group. A few weeks later, he was ecstatic when he received two letters. The first detailed that he had been selected to take the job. The second was a marriage invitation.

Gem worked with gusto for many years under the Princesses, happily completeing whatever task they set him. However, he slowly developed an affinity for alcohol, and after twenty years of loyal work, desired a change. The Princesses however desired him to continue his work, and requested multiple times for him to stay. Gem left Canterlot at age forty, travelling the world. Despite his roamings, the Princesses still sent him work, which he managed to complete, amid the moanings of wanting a retirement. He finally returned to Canterlot on his forty-eighth birthday, taking up residence in a small flat outside the catsle.

Personality: Gem has a fairly abrasive personality, disliking meaningless chatter and often ignoring ponies he doesn’t like. He often whines about not wanting to work, though he still completes anything he is given to the highest degree he can. He despises fighting, seeing it as barbaric and stupid. That is not to say he is a pacifist, as he enjoys fighting, though he will never start it.

Current Home: A small flat near the castle.

Race: Otter

Age: 20

Coat: Grayish

Distinguishing Features: A little waterproof bandanna that is blue with a black trim around his neck and black fingerless gloves with a red trim.

Specialty (eg. special spells, unique powers etc): He is a fast swimmer when in water. With his gloves he can create anything he can think about out of water.

Weaknesses: If anything that involves or reminds him of his time as a test subject he will flip out and run. He is almost defenseless if there is no water near him and he can't use his glove's ability. Get's distracted easily.

Occupation: None

Gear:
Translation collar: The translation collar is hidden behind his bandanna. It allows him to speak in equestrian to other ponies and other languages. It is waterproof, so he can swim in the water, and it does short circuit every once in a while.

Gloves: The tips of the gloves are fingerless so Oliver can use his claws. The glove itself had been magically enchanted to allow Oliver to, if there is water near by, create a weapon or tool out of water. The object that is made out of water is then, almost, solidified, so a water sword can actually hurt and kill. If Oliver clutched his fists two electrified claws, per glove, comes out.

Belt and little vials of water: The belt itself just holds a couple little vials of water, so Oliver can have water near him when he needs it. There is also a little pocket on the belt to store items.

History: Oliver had a sister and mother, but one day when he and his family were swimming down a river he was grabbed out of the water and carried away in the air. When he looked up to see who had separated him from his family he was a midnight blue pegasus, who oddly had a tool belt.

The pegasus flew Oliver to a small house in a little town near a forest. Oliver had tried to scratch the pegasus to make him let go, but realized that was a bad idea when he almost fell to his death. He instead just let the pegasus do whatever he wanted.

They got inside the house and went down a staircase into a rather cold and dark room. Inside there were different tools and machines. Oliver wondered if this pegasus had built all of this. The pegasus grabbed a cage and locked Oliver inside it.

Oliver had no idea what world of pain he was into and the scaring memories that were to come. The pegasus had went over to one of the many drawers and opened it searching for something. Oliver tried to be as small as he can. He wanted to shrink away from the world and be nothing. The pegasus, however, would not let him, as he turned back towards Oliver with something under his wing. Oliver backed away into the back of the cage. The pegasus opened and grabbed Oliver, bringing him out of the cage and putting on a little collar on Oliver.

The collar actually fitted Oliver nicely and was rather soft. Oliver however was still scared at why the pegasus had put a collar on him. The pegasus patted Oliver on the head and put him back in the cage before asking Oliver to say something. Oliver was confused, but didn't want to get the pegasus mad and said, "Something."

The pegasus seemed surprised but then was happy. Oliver on the other hand was even more scared than before. He put his tiny paws over his mouth confused at what he just said. The pegasus tried to reassure the little otter that nothing was wrong with his voice. Oliver was even more confused.

The pegasus explained what he had done with the collar. The collar had been a few programming and machinery that Oliver had no idea what they were. The pegasus facehoofed at Oliver and his confusion. The pegasus didn't even bother to explain anymore. Oliver had gotten the otter to Equestrian part but anything after that just went over his head.

The pegasus went over to another drawer and looked out two little black gloves. Oliver wondered if he was just here for dress up or something. The pegasus went back over to Oliver and put the gloves on him. He then instructed Oliver what do do.

Oliver was confused as to what to do properly, but did get the part to clutch one of his fist. He did as he was told and two electrified claws came out from what appeared to be nowhere. Olive had no idea that the claws were electrified and touched them with his other paw. He screamed in pain as he was electrocuted. The pegasus panicked and opened the cage to make the otter no touch the claw. Oliver could have died and he will want to for what he was going to endure.

The pegasus grabbed a plank of wood and threw it at Oliver. Oliver screamed in pain and the plank of wood hit his back and the back of his head. The pegasus raised his hooves up to stomp on Oliver but stopped shot when another midnight blue pegasus came into the room. This pegasus didn't seem so mean, but Oliver didn't take any chances and ran out the open door at the top of the stairs. He just kept running down the hall and out the front door, that was opened for some reason. He ran down the streets of the small town and through a river. He hadn't stopped until he got near the edge of the forest.

Olive might have to thank to second pegasus for giving him an escape route if and when he came back to the town. Oliver turned and ran through the forest. He ran until he got to a clearing and stopped, panting. He laid on his belly and looked around the area he was at. There were trees and bushes. There was also a wooden wolf/dog thing. Oliver jumped up to his paw and ran away from the wooden beast. He didn't stop running until he got to a path. He took that time to decide that this forest was much more dangerous than the town with the crazy pegasus.

Oliver ran down the path back to the little town. As he ran he bumped into a yellow pegasus who 'eep'ed and backed away from Oliver. Oliver looked up at the pegasus noticing that she had hid behind her pink mane. Oliver pawed at her hoof a little bit before he decided not to say anything and just run around the pegasus, back down the path. The pegasus was far to shy to help him.

He made it back to the town safely and saw the midnight pegasus from before, the one with out the tool belt. Oliver ran over to the pegasus and pawed at his hoof. The pegasus looked down at him and smiled. Oliver asked the pegasus if he could ask the pegasus with the tool belt to tell him what the gloves Oliver was wear did. The pegasus petted Oliver and told him to say there while he went to ask his brother.

Oliver was surprised the two pegasus were related despite the obvious personality difference. He waited for the pegasus to return. Some ponies that pasted by him looked down at him, curious. Oliver just waved to the ponies and the ponies waved back.

When the midnight pegasus finally came back, Oliver was almost asleep. Oliver looked up at the pony and asked what the gloves did. The pegasus told him that they were suppose to let him to create whatever he wanted out of water and that it became almost like a solid object.

Oliver thanked the pegasus and went over to a fountain to try this ability. He dipped his paw into the water and through about a sword. He felt something in his paw and clutched it. He lifted his paw from the water to see that he was holding a blue water sword. He was amazed by the sword. He let go of the sword only for it to turn back to water once he released it.

Oliver found a small belt that looked like it could hole a few vials of water and a few objects. Oliver strapped the belt around his waist and ran away from the town. He went for town to town looking for little vials he could fill with water. During one of his scouting missions he found a blue bandanna with a black trim and put it on so it would hid his collar.

Personality: Oliver is a playful, silly otter that loves to meet new ponies. He may also act tough but when it comes to something that reminds him of his mentally scaring time as a test subject, he will be a coward and run.

Current Home: None

Misc: He is as tall of a normal pony if he stands on two legs.
